okay fun times at olf we have the new drive lines i'm gonna go over what we have done or what i have done so far with them uh here it is this is what it comes with this is the same unit that uh this is the same unit that came on the part that i went all the way to texas and picked up that just so happened to be the wrong part kind of annoying but it is what it is and to me it goes on the scrap pile this is what i really needed to have on here which is the over running clutch and yesterday i fought and swore cursed and swore some more and couldn't even make a video because youtube would demonetize my life let alone my youtube channel for all the cursing that i did about that so but today on today's menu is to fix a bindioli and pelvici up and the reason i say it's a up is because they want to up farmers and other people that buy these drivelines and i will show you what they do to make your life a living hell and cost you literally tens of thousands of dollars over the lifetime of say one of these things so we will go step by step on how to correct that problem and such is life i would like to add that the shield from crone this particular shield here from crone they charge you like seven hundred dollars for it bendioli and pavisi uh shield like 700 bucks get it from the guy that i get it from and it isn't 700 it's 200 but in the long run you really don't want to break one of these things because you have to run it with it if you don't it wraps hay around the driveline causing major major issues so with that all being said the whole idea here is to actually maintain this guy and maintain this guy and not have problems with the main shaft so maintain your shields and maintain this shaft to the point where it is not going to cost you five thousand dollars from chrome to get it replaced the first thing i'm going to do is actually stretch this out now i have hurt my shoulder um the other day i think well if you've watched my video in the last couple of days you'll know that i i had something break in my arm it said okay careful with that anyway you want what i did was i was pushing on a wrench and it was my right shoulder that i screwed up but uh you know such is life whatever what am i gonna do am i gonna cry and complain about it probably um but what i am going to do is i'm going to tell you that it was out of socket somehow something was out of place in my shoulder it is sore from here right out to the tip of the shoulder from here to here and yesterday while i was steering my truck i forgot what i was doing and it was quite painful but it felt really nice after i did it i took it i went like this with the steering wheel and something went kind of crunch like snap crackle pop rice krispies uh and uh now i feel a lot better it's just sore from being out of place so anyways let me get you turned around here and i'll show you what i gotta do so first things first i gotta take out these screws here and then i gotta take out these screws here i am not going to put that on film because it takes too damn long so i will be back to you uh that bless me not [Applause] ah foreign if this little clip has to come out right there yeah don't lose it oh it can be oh every time that thing makes a revolution it squirts grease out of that hole watch this did you see that got double every revolution grease out of that little hole we cannot have that can we cost lots of money costs lots of money so if you buy this shaft from chrome it's a bendioli it is not this quality shaft this shaft is a 21 spline shaft or it looks like the thousand rpm 20 spline shafts 20. the one you get from krone is a four lobe shaft uh i think i paid 1800 for this because i left 600 item off and after fighting with it yesterday i think i should have just spent the 620 bucks but i'm glad i didn't so the next thing on the list of things to do is to actually cut a v-notch out of this guy right here i don't know if you can see that but i'm going to show you so i'm going to cut a v-notch out of this right here just cut it right what i'll do is i'll drill a small pilot hole down and then i will drill a bigger pilot hole down and then i'm going to thread that and i'm going to tap it i'm going to tap it and i'm going to thread in a very small set screw and that'll be the end of it the end fixed [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] hey you know if you can put what tractors do we have we got this 8120 right yeah what other fast tractors do we have we don't have anything yeah if we could put the 6210 on oh the 62 yeah but i have to take a loader off of it i want to put that that sprayer that has the 240 and water in it that's got to go but i want to go up to that that property that's up there that you only put a little bit of fertilizer on the one with the big house and hit that with two for that 24d i want that out of there and i got to put fertilizer on so if you can put it on that one and this one i don't know if you want to put it on yours it's fine uh that one in this one we can hit landlord bell tomorrow in the rain okay and then we just take those two sprayers over there knock it out because steven you think steve won't be back here until tomorrow night the earliest yeah he said tomorrow yeah about the same time we're done um i get this i want to get these things done so that this and the stack wagon yep unless you want to if you're ready then you take that but i'll take this in a stack wagon fine the stack wagon is gonna have to yeah i gotta go get them tires if they got them somebody's gonna have to go so [Applause] ah [Applause] so good morning anyway uh so my gopro camera has failed me again i don't know i said it was encrypted this time but anyway uh all i really did was you saw where that grease came out of that shaft and i just went and got in was that a six six thirty second six number six thirty two thread um tap i tapped that sucker out i threaded it and then i went i got a set screw i have a set screw kit that's that small and i set that in there just marinara wound that thing in there and i plugged the hole okay so uh i would call this planned obsolescence that's that's all i can equate that to is planned obsolescence because if they don't wear out they can't sell you new ones uh i really want the grease in that reservoir forever i don't want that grease to come out of that reservoir uh i wanted to go in there stay in there stick in there work in there and lubricate the plates in the cv that is a constant velocity joint now i don't know if anybody if you guys know much about these probably if you don't run uh high speed uh high speed uh power takeoff shafts or things like that they really run smooth but they have to be within a tolerance if they get out of tolerance they start to wobble and when they wobble then they start to shake and when they start to shake that shield goes blue gone see you later we're out of here so what is there is there's an eye socket on either side of this uh this gizmo so that you saw that this joint all right so where your pto shaft goes on to the tractor pto shaft there is a kind of a yoke that goes well it is a yoke a yoke that goes around and on the end is a ball and your one universal joint goes inside of the yoke while the ball fits into a plate a socket and a plate that rides in a it rides on a inside a steel uh sandwich which is that big wide thing that i was drilling the hole into into that steel sandwich all right and that steel sandwich uh is very close tolerance to the plate now on the other side there is another yoke with the universal joint and a ball socket that fits into the other side of that's that plate there's two sockets on each side of that plate so as you turn they kind of turn together and that plate stays within that in that in that steel sandwich and the outside of that steel sandwich is a grease reservoir so when you make a corner with this constant velocity power takeoff shaft that plate dips into the grease that is within the reservoir so when you and you know and then you straighten back out again it's straight it pulls the grease with it to lubricate the steel sandwich and the plate reducing heat friction and wear heat is the is the killer of all anything if you have if you have dirt on your transmission you're going to blow your transmission it'll get overheated and you'll actually separate the clutch discs and it will come apart hydros can't handle it o-rings can't handle it uh you know ceiling rings even steel will start to score as the thermal breakdown of your oil so heat is the killer of everything and of course metal erodes faster with heat so that little hole that splooges grease out every time it makes a revolution okay excuse me here thank you god bless no one anyway so when that plate dips into that grease reservoir you're going like this at a thousand rpm with the tractor running at 2100 rpm so that part takeoff shaft is running a thousand rpm so as that plate dips into that thing a thousand times it's shooting a small amount of grease out of that hole while you're making a corner it says to grease that thing every eight hours a day eight hours every eight hours of operation and they use the cheapest shittiest wheel bearing grease that they can get their hands on when they put those together that is the yellow cheap number two nlg grease that you can get now i've used schaefer's grease in there yeah schaefer's has a molly in it which is to me holds things together uh it fills in divots and and creates a slippery surface it's a clay type or a metal moly is i think a heavy metal lithium is a heavy metal uh so anyway i was using the schaefer's high speed synthetic seemed to work better than the crimson grease that i was getting that was a lithium-based grease or a lithium-infused grease uh the best stuff that i've used is sig 3000 by worth w u with the two little dots worth worth i believe it's german uh i will show that in a later video probably a video i'm going to do today because uh my camera screwed up so tomorrow's video you're going to see the second half of what i've done here because that's it just didn't come through but sig 3000 by worth is guaranteed not to pound out i've i've featured it on my channel before you could take a glob of that grease put it on a steel plate smack it with a hammer and it will not go flying in every direction like any other grease i've ever used including shaffers and crimson uh valvoline crimson or any of these other rotellas and all these other fancy pants grease that claim to be guaranteed not to pound out greases yeah they they they pound out the elasticity of the sig 3000 is is second to none the craziest thing i've ever seen if you took a handful of it went like this it would look like a handful of spiderwebs coming across and it would just and it wouldn't come apart it's just amazing stuff i've used it in the past it's very expensive it's like sixteen dollars a tube um i got it for fourteen dollars and change it cost me just under five hundred dollars for thirty tubes and the reason i stopped purchasing it was because i couldn't keep the guys from putting it into everything uh if the if it was in a grease gun they would just run that grease tube out and then get some cheap grease and put into the grease gun that i had designated for the worth sig 3 000. uh yeah that's great grease uh so anyway i have threatened their lives because it's gotten a whole lot more expensive than it used to be used to be nine bucks and went to 12 bucks now we're up at the 13 and 16 if you buy it from a retailer uh or someone you know say me i can get it for 14 bucks and then i can sell it for 16 and you know that's within the tolerance of the company i won't do that though because i'm trying to become a dealer for it i would really like to be a dealer for it because it's such a pain in the ass to get it um but anyway if i was to become a dealer maybe you guys would want to purchase it from me and i wouldn't charge you 16 i would i would only charge you 15 but you would not be wearing out your constant velocity drives and other very expensive stuff and loaders this stuff is perfect for loaders because that is really what it's designed for is the uh loader's pound out when i used it in the loaders you just greased it once a year i'm not kidding you this stuff was in there for a long time uh will withstand 500 degrees it will not sling off until everything hits like 500 degrees it turns to like an oil a very sticky oil um when it's hot but it does not sling off i never had it coat the inside of the outside of my tractor like every other grease that i've used so anyway i'm done talking about greases for now i hope you enjoyed this video i'm going to give you the second half of this probably tomorrow so if you enjoyed this just to say in the comment section i want to see tomorrow's video because today we're changing tires on the stack wagon and let me tell you this is going to be comical i think i need two cameras because these tires suck they're a six an 18 ply 16-1 they're for the old stack wagon and they are stiffer than a board and just nasty as hell to put on and timothy is just going to be going nuts because it's going to be hot it's going to be sticky and it's going to suck so tim's temper 23 is coming up next thank you for watching please comment rate subscribe and please leave your comments i love them good better and different put them down there thumbs up will help too thank you
