First step First step open the Start menu, then go to "Settings." After that, navigate to "System," and scroll down to select "Troubleshoot." Then, under "Other troubleshooters," Choose "Windows Update." Once you've selected "Run," When It's done, restart your computer The second step: Open the Start menu and type "services" then open it. Open the tab and then search for Windows Installer. service and make sure it is running. you can see it here as "Stopped." In that case, click the "Start" button to start it, and then close the window Still in the "Services" window scroll down and find "Windows Update." Double-click on it. First, ensure that the "Startup type" is set to "Automatic." And then, we'll click on "Stop" to halt the service. Next, we'll proceed to the third step The third step, which is: deleting previously downloaded update files Open the C drive on your computer. Navigate to the "Windows" folder. Locate the "SoftwareDistribution" folder and open it. Then open the "Download" folder. Delete all the files and folders within this "Download" folder. You can find the complete path in the description. The final step: Open the Command Prompt (cmd) and select "Run as administrator."
