FIX Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Crashing, Freezing, Not Launching On PC

hello everyone how's it going in this video I'll be showing you how to fix Counter-Strike 2 crashing freezing and not launching on your Windows computer now the first thing that you need to do I know this sounds simple that's just to Simply restart your computer this can result so many problems and it's really quick and easy to do so once you've done that and if that didn't resolve the issue then the next thing that you want to do is right click on the start menu icon go to settings click on update and security and then just check for updates make sure you have the latest version of Windows installed as you can see I also have a quality updates available so I'd need to download and install that as well now once you've updated windows it's also worth me mentioning right now is to update your graphics card driver if you don't know what graphics card you have in your computer then you can find this out by right clicking on the start menu icon go into device manager and then expand and display adapters and you will see your graphics card there go to the website for your manufacturer so I've got AMD I'd go to the MD the website and download the latest driver for an RX 6750 XT if you've got a video go to nvidia's website and obviously Intel go to Intel I will pop some links in the description below to some guides I've done on how you can update your graphics card driver if you're not too sure on how to do this now the next thing you need to do is download a program that I created called easy gamer utility now if you've got this program installed already before checking um what graphics card you've got you can click on Graphics there and then the links there for driver download as the program will detect what graphics card you have in your computer so the first thing you need to do is go across to the clean tab now once you're on the clean tab you need to click on clean next to clear steam cache files and then go ok and it's just going to remove some old chunk files for steam now once you've done that go down and then click on clean next to your graphics card so I've got name the graphics card so I need to click on clean and OK and then also click on clean next the dark X shaded cache files again once you've done that we're all good so the next thing you want to do now that you've updated Windows restart your computer and cleared all the cache files and stuff like that go ahead and try and launch Count Strike 2 again and see if that's resolved the issues you'll have it now if that didn't fix the problems then next thing you need to do within easy gamer utility is to go across to the fix tab once you're on the fixed tab you need to scroll all the way to the bottom and you're then going to see a custom game fixing option you need to click on browse and you now need to browse to the location where you installed Counter-Strike 2 so it should be in Steam apps common then Counter-Strike Global Offensive open up the game folder go into the Bim folder win64 and then find the cs2.exe and click open you now need to select Steam from the drop down menu and then click on attempt fix now if you've got the pro version there is the attempt deep fix slash analyze button which will will do a deeper fix slash analyze and hopefully give you reasons to why the game is crashing as well and then try and fix them so I'm going to click on the attempt fix so you can see this in work now so you can see there it's opened up steam and if I go back to easy gaming utility it's now about to try and launch the game now if it doesn't launch the game don't panic it would have still done the fixes it just failed to launch the game so the next thing that you would need to do is just open up the game manually you can see there it's launched the game fine now if easy game utility didn't help fix the game then the next thing you need to do is ensure that you are using the high performance power plan so we can do this by opening up the start menu and then typing in power and then plan and then click on edit power plan you now need to go back to power options and then just select high performance now if you want to use the ultimate performance then I will pop a link in the description below to a guide that I've done on how you can enable that and activate it and also it will be coming soon in EGU I will be adding an option for the pro users on how you can activate it with that another thing that can cause crashing issues with Counter-Strike 2 is your security software so if your security software is blocking the game then that's going to cause an issue so the next thing you need to do if you're using a third-party security program is ensure that you're allowing Counter-Strike 2 to connect online and play so go into the exceptions list and just add the counterstrike.exe that you've seen earlier on in the video when we added it to easy game utility now once you've done that go ahead and launch the game again you could also put your security software into a game mode or a passive mode or silent mode if you want to as well to test it out or if you really want to you could also disable the screen somewhere but just keep in mind you might not be protected from threats while it's disabled another thing that can cause issues is also conflictions so if you're running Discord a web browser or anything like that a music player in the background when you're trying to play Counter Strike 2 then it could be conflicting with the game calls in it to crash not only that but it will also be using resources and you want these system resources to be used on the game not for other programs so go ahead and close down these programs and apps and then try launching the game again now the next thing that you want to do is right click on the start menu icon and go to the task manager and you then need to just go to users and ensure you don't have any other user accounts that are currently signed in as they could also be using resources and running programs and stuff that could be Believe It or Not conflicting with the game causing it crash so once you've done all that and if none of that's helped then the next thing I'd suggest you do is make sure you do have enough disk space on the drive that you've got the game installed onto and if that's all good then you now need to open up steam once you have steam open head on over to your game library and right click on Count Strike 2 and go to properties you now need to go down to installed files and you then just want to click on verify Integrity of game files it could just be that unfortunately one of the game files has just become corrupted or missing which is causing the problem so once this is finished and got to 100 go ahead and launch the game again and see if that helped if it didn't then you could always try creating a new user account on your computer just in case there is a setting or something on your windows user account that's causing the
