Five Alleged Time Slip Cases

the possibility of time travel is a subject we humans have discussed for years with some scientists claiming that it is possible many believe that we live in a universe of multiple dimensions dimensions that sometimes merge making it possible for our mortal bodies to be transported through time some people have claimed that they not only see the past or future but a fully immersed in a world from years gone by here are five reported cases from people who have made such claims in 1993 Alf and Eileen Roberts were on holiday in Dunster in the English county of Somerset after a day out they got into their car and headed back to their hotel it was 7:30 when they found themselves lost in a village called Bampton the picturesque village was pleasing to the eye with the display of flowers on the village green accompanied by a wooden plaque which red escaped village of 1976 although impressed by the villagers floral display they thought no more of it continuing their journey and eventually finding their hotel in nearby Dunster the next day Alf and Eileen returned to Bampton to take photos of the flower display they had seen the day before but they were shocked to find a bear village green in place of the flowers with no sign of the plaque posting best cat village in fact on further inspection the Roberts noticed that the entire villages appearance had changed considerably during the filming of a 1995 episode of the television series strange but true they stated that when they had left Bampton the time had not changed on their watches it remained 730 even though they had been in the village for some time it was as if time had stood still iron Roberts said it seemed as though it was the same village but in a different time on further investigation when they arrived home after their trip they discovered that the village of Bampton had in fact been awarded the title of best kept village in 1976 two English couple Cynthia and leg is B and Pauline in Jeff Simpson and Bart on a holiday in Spain in the summer of 1979 a holiday which would include a road trip through France after travelling for almost ten hours they decided to call it a night and search for a hotel in rural France to rest so that they continued their journey the following day they found a bed and breakfast set deep in the French countryside an old building surrounded by trees and rich green foliage they were met by friendly landlord who welcomed them in and showed them to their rooms the rooms were born with old wooden beams and arcane furniture along with glassless windows they ate supper and retired to their rooms for the night the next morning the couples took a few photos to remember their stay before sitting down to breakfast shortly after entering the dining room two French police officers entered the room soon to be a company or a young woman said to be wearing an old-fashioned dress the couples recalled the uniforms of the police officers wore were also very old fashioned and like nothing they had seen before assuming there were regular customers the couples thought no more of it they soon left after paying the landlord with the entire cost s they coming to a total of 19 francs which would have been the equivalent of just under two British pounds at the time a small amount which surprised the holidaymakers when they returned home to England they found that the photograph they had taken were non-existent as if they were never taken the couples in an attempt to make sense of their strange experience investigated the case further and found that the police uniforms worn by the men at the bed-and-breakfast dated back to the 1900s could it be that the Giz beads in the Simpsons experienced a time slip and travelled back in time a few years later the party returned to the spot where the old building stood and found nothing but an old crumbling building with locals having no memory of it ever being a hotel what they did discover though was that the old building next door to it used to be an old police station now as if the case didn't raise enough questions there are a couple of points that stand out if they did in fact travel back in time why did nobody comment on their modern car I'm probably most confusing of all how did they pay with modern money when questioned geoff simpson said that he was confused at the acceptance of the modern currency ah Nextel comes from the lake of Ozarks in Missouri USA now unlike our other cases this is a story of an alleged time traveler who visited the future the story goes that a young man by the name of Jake once record watching their aurora borealis from outside his parents home it was around 10:00 p.m. on the 28th of May 2004 he claims a sudden white light filled the sky but it was unrelated to the aurora borealis he said that it traveled over his head in a straight line from west to east and it was at that moment that he found he couldn't move at all he was completely paralyzed unable to return to the house to find his parents he says that his senses eventually returned and he walked back to the house where he tried to explain to his parents what he had experienced they noticed he had scratches on his face and even part of his ear was missing his parents told him that he had been outside for an hour but to him if they're like minutes then his attention turned to a calendar on the wall questioning the date and year saying that he thought it was 2008 and asking if the black man was President of the United States now this story is particularly vague and I was unable to find a credible source so I'm much more skeptical about the story of Jake but it's by no means the only story about visits to our future time travel claims about the past seem more believable to me is they are revisiting events that have already happened now I'm no physicist so I'll keep this simple because past events have already happened the notion that they can be relived is more believable to me than brushes with the future because the idea of past events being recorded in time ready to be relived again seems more feasible if we could travel to the future that would mean somewhere in our universe there is a dimension or dimensions that hold all future events meaning that all our futures to a certain extent are already mapped out I personally think nothing is written and we all control our destinies this next case comes from Liverpool England where have been a number of time slip occurrences reported in recent years more specifically in the old story area could this area have some kind of passageway to the past or even be a site of an interdimensional crossover here is just one of the stories from Liverpool's mysterious bold Street in 2006 a 19 year old man by the name of Sean was running from a security guard along old Street after being caught shoplifting in an attempt to give the man the slip Sean bashed into Hanover Street and crossed over to nearby Brooks alley it was then that he felt a tightness in his chest and was unable to breathe in panic and confusion Sean turned to look back down the alley expecting to see the security guard continue in his pursuit when he noticed that he wasn't there he thought that he'd successfully lost him but it was at the same time that Sean noticed something different about his surroundings the buildings were different and so was the road as young Sean crept back up the alley towards Hanover Street he noticed that the cars driving up and down were old-fashioned now bewildered he stepped out with Brooks alley and towards bold Street again where roadworks he knew were there no longer existed he checked his cell phone and saw that there was no signal continuing a long bold Street he noticed a kiosk selling newspapers he picked one up and read the date at the top it read the 18th of May 1967 now Sean ran along old story and panic hoping to find something he recognized as he did so he checked his phone again this time there was a signal and he noticed at that moment that the world around him has suddenly changed again he recognized the shops the road and the people's modern clothes he then caught a bus home when the case came to light many thought that Sean had made up the story in a poor attempt to escape punishment but when the security guard was also interviewed he stated that during their chase the young thief had disappeared in Brooks alley as if into thin air in 1984 author Anthony peek was traveling along the southern coast of Turkey with a small group of tourists on arrival in militares which sits on the buek Menderes River Anthony wanted time to himself to reflect on the beautiful scenery around him so he broke away from the group of tourists he traveled with after a short while he came across an old mosque which he later discovered was built in the 13th century Anthony walked up the steps of the open building and sat at the top overlooking a river valley as he sat there he said that he had a strange physical experience in which the air became very heavy as he put it he then noticed that a nearby hill which once sat on the other side of the river was now part of an island surrounded by sea at that moment he said he saw the front end of what seemed to be an ancient Greek style touring ship emerging from around the islands edge as he sat an amazement at this apparent alternative reality the ship and surroundings vanished as quickly as they had appeared leaving the author in a state of confusion had Anthony momentarily seen the region as it was
