First try at malt barley harvest with the 860 massey!!

[Music] hey guys how's she going to me well we're in the Massey here that are on our way to the barley we're gonna go give her a whirl see what it's like I think the first swamped stuff we'll be ready to go it was quite a bit dryer in some of the fields and in other parts of itself I'm just running this down the road a little bit of a few minutes of a drive to get down there and all puck do and we get there because I don't really have much else to tell here a couple no smoke now I ain't flying because the straw straw is a little bit tougher Green it's nice good straw I'm gonna leave I'm leaving this little bit in this low spot there was some greens in there I'm just kind of cherry-picked in here right now just to try a few different spots at the combine set a little bit better it's kind of harder you got the green stuff like that it doesn't take 100% of the kernels off like it does on dry stuff and I don't want to go too fast this is the 30-foot sloth and real good hit me by early I don't want to overload my sips Irvine thrash etc we're pulling a 20 on their owner great power on the cylinder sorry Warren and I don't know if you really see her there or not but real big straw Soph coming out the best hockey gone about two and a half miles an hour here so and I'm gonna stop and just keep creeping along so we don't make a giant straw file behind the combo well check and see what kind of job she's doing the bottoms of the songs are pretty well fall here I haven't gone very far so I think there's gonna be there's gonna be some good firely in here nice big plump seeds too so that's what we want hey guys got to catch a break somewhere so we're gonna try tightening the concave and speeding it up a little I'm let Madeline take this one here if I get some video of the outside here but dad's gonna catch a little in the shovel we can see how much he's throwing look a little better this time no a little less wind still imagine if this is a John Deere how much is it coming over the back [Laughter] well we're gonna dump what's in here and all kind of a change of plan don't put sin here and we'll do a sample on it I think it's gonna be it's gonna be close here anyway notice that on 225g we're off today - yep it's still calibrated so you took all the pizza from one side into the Reacher reach across more ever reach around guy pretty close close enough going the right way 34 bit too tough yet we tried well it tested 16 whatever they're in 14.8 this try let's for malt they wanted to even the little dragger than that round 14 or 14 to something like that so we'll see folk tomorrow maybe tomorrow supposed to be nice and sunny and hot totes I bet you by afternoon coffee time she'll pretty well go 8 1 they'll be close I bet we'll come back and try again but anyway proves that things work so I guess that's where I'm gonna leave you for now so make sure you hit that like button and subscribe for more thanks for watching we'll talk to you guys in the next one [Music]
