First time DRIFTING in my S14 240SX

let's put in the perspective what's going on here so we got the fender getting worked on on my car making sure it doesn't rub tim's just chilling down here brennan's car is getting worked on in the driveway and austin is washing his car with the freaking pressure washer and it's it's 9 23 p.m at night we're really considering we're the best of neighbors dude [Music] [Music] damn my boy is clean on the front but hella crusty back here we're going freaking drifting today boys yo pulling up hey hello we're like going drifting today dude we're going drifting today oh yesterday we were all working on cars and we kept saying we're going drifting tomorrow within weeks worth of ownership of that car i'm immediately sending it and taking it out to the track reasons why uh one because i'm not a kitty cat and two i do want to change up a lot of the exterior of the car and make it look a lot more pretty and give it some of my own character flair but before i do that i feel like i should start drifting in in in the event that let's say it ends up in a wall or ends up on someone else's door or just gets a little smashed it's at least started out by being smashed on the current stuff that i know that i'm gonna swap out and that i'm not gonna want on the car anymore rather than making it all pretty at the start and then going to your first day and then putting it into a wall it's got limp pins yeah i mean they're not like required but you know they they help make it seem like a wild experience you know what i'm saying that's an sr i've seen a couple srs in my day this is one of them have you seen an sr with the tome oil cap i'm sure it's as shiny as that that's like the nicest part of my well this too okay this is sick because that's hks but um yeah when we first picked up the car these were zip tied this pipe is like i know it's it's seen better days dude yo did my boy jacob and the miata just set off alarms well i need a strut bar and various other little things but it is driftable it's got angle and it looks good yeah and it looks it looks alright so we're just gonna freaking put her out there the forecast is expected rain i mean the surfaces are wet right now so there's goods and bads to that the goods with wet surfaces is that we don't run through tires like anywhere near on the level if it were dry so i could basically survive the whole day on one set and it's also just easier for lesser powered cars like us to slide but at the same time the bads are doesn't look as cool no tire smoke you guys probably won't see that you also have a little bit less control because if you can imagine sliding your car on a dry surface versus sliding it on like like an ice rink where your car is basically a hockey puck on a wet surface isn't as safe and controllable so there might be more spin outs than usual it's our first drift day this is like the official first ultra mode of drift day i want to call it we drifted the skyline before we very quote unquote drifted the z in mexico but those don't really count because this is like a full open drift session and we're going to be out there all day trying to figure all this hype out [Music] this is quite the freaking lineup dude ultramotive stuff has come so far shout out to those of you that like watch the first vlogs when it was just like my stock focus rs and like brennan's basically stock miata and a bunch of other stuff because this is freaking sick [Music] you're rolling out baby dude you know your car is not low enough yet when you don't even hear noises on speed bumps we gotta change that in the future oh more drift boys rx7 on the trailer the entrance to the open drift is dirt so we're doing some off-roading in the drift car man all these dudes with their like professional trailer setups and everything in front of us and we're just showing up by driving our cars i don't know if i should feel good about that or like a little bit scared holy crap that thing is so clean i'm used to our autocross sessions where they're just like stock miatas and stuff because the freaking cars here freaking rx7s s chassis these are all just so freaking cool and you got miatas but they have drift camber eight one two six seven hello hello driving our crew uh driving jack yes all right let him grab a pen jack and sign there for me ready to go enter the track baby that sc over there is so clean as well on the vskf we are now entering the track this is the first time my s14 is touching ground on the racecourse let's go spec out the competition oh that's a cool e36 right there pink and blue cotton candy style hey the boys that thing is sick as well you need them oh god i will dude so we've entered our first exam the tech inspection which we have to pass with a full a may not have full cage or harnesses and whatnot but hopefully we should be good good well we passed our tech inspection no not jack motive bro you don't want the picture of me dude it's the wheels i had on my r32 yeah i know i was there when you had it right there too yeah my boy brent had been through it [Music] all yo let him know i'm not 14. he's really broken up about being 14. real hold on he's actually 16. get the id going let me get the let me get all the empty times date of birth 10 30 2002. that makes me 18. okay guys 18. i'm 18 am i 18 right jesse had to get across he's 18 birthdays already started sending people out that is not going to be me not that close to that wall dude i don't know about that wall proximity man goal by the end of the day brennan and i tandem mihada and s14 we gotta beat banging doors with jack brennan's going on his first run [Music] dude i never thought i'd see them out there freaking budweiser post blocking it get some good donuts oh barely almost cut in the cover all right first ever run in those 14. [Music] [Music] huh [Music] oh [Music] um how's your first track day than i experience but the car has all the capabilities for it the driver not so much we still got work to do okay okay this is the first day so first first of many six of them all right so we're in line for the big main course now this is where it's where the fd pro drivers go i'm definitely kind of nervous but this also allows for a lot more room of play so we'll be able to have higher speeds and a little more fun [Music] [Applause] [Music] that was a lot more fun than like the freaking practice course all right i think i think i got this [Applause] um [Music] there you go almost dude they just sent every single card at once i'm so glad i'm not out there right now oh my boy brandon in the back yo where's brennan come on brendan stuck in the middle it's like a freaking lime cup that's getting cornered by a bunch of other wines come on brandon get in there got makeshift pole to lean on right now will's actually like chilling you're just balanced by both each side oh my god oh my god that was the cool oh i freaking spot on the 3 8 dude that was one of the best runs i've had all day that just made this all feel worth it [Music] oh my god that was sick we basically we drifted on the 3 8 bend and then we basically linked the entire thing oh my god [Applause] [Applause] [Music] oh [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] so so [Music] he legit doesn't have a rear end anymore and like i'm not lying when i said that you started the day with a full wide body and a full rear end [Applause] [Applause] [Music] so we made it back to the pit zone after a solid solid day of hooting around i definitely progressed a lot hopefully you guys can see that throughout the video at the beginning i legit was under steering all the time and i was spinning out but near the end i've definitely linked the full track course at least four or five times throughout the day which is for first day's worth that's honestly insane and i do owe it all to the car as well i mean the angle kit the sr all of it is precise i couldn't be happier with the car of choice and it looks so aggressive and so mean and so cool while it's out there decided to end it off while you know the car's still running well ended off on a good note and we are driving at home first day drifting sending it hard and we're driving the drift car home not trailering it yo [Music] some cars out there have seen better days they've really pushed the limits of the wall no one had any catastrophic failures at all in fact no one really had anything go wrong so drift team ultramotive has been a successful throughout today what's going on here dude i got caught dude someone holding you hostage yeah basically dude they put you in the trunk of like my car while it's drifting basically [Music] ultra [Music]
