if I could justify just spending five thousand dollars on a lamp I I would because there are mermaids hello and welcome back to the channel and today I'm here at the Village antique mall near Mount Dora Florida look at these gargoyles gosh every time I see Beanie Babies it just takes me back oh I grew up with these darn things Collectibles you know Collectibles of the future hey look okay so it's minis a dollar small three dollars okay so I guess like these are the regular size the three dollar ones huh I actually already have a flamingo so I don't even need one of these oh they have the huge ones too do you think they have a um I really don't need any more but that's a pretty basket oh I am looking for oh I know I'm like a like I'm all over the place I'm looking for a covered basket for my living room I don't know if we'll find it but I love these lamps look at that one with the dragonflies on it so there's that one with the like what is it called Van Gogh which I think is pronounced it's like you have something stuck in your throat like a potato chip oh it's a pear too look at these that's stunning this small looks really good I think we're gonna do oh I like that one too I think we're gonna do oh do you see this oh my gosh I've never seen dollars look at this the it's like textured completely dimensional really I haven't ever I haven't ever seen that before where it's been it's coming out so much for the Dragon very good look and here's the basket that I got I don't know if I can fill it but it'd be nice if I could it's always a question of whether or not I can I'll do my best oh my gosh this this mall is amazing oh we're gonna do really well here even if we don't buy anything I mean I will try definitely um do you see this caddy it's beautiful it reminds me of Culver Culver usually marks their stuff with their words you know more Culver but uh I don't know about that one I just like the whole set all a little satin boot painted do you see this tree oh it's 475 dollars Atlantic mold 35 inch wow that's big that's a big tree do you see that 35 inches huh oh they have bleak 28 dollars for this set now that's something I've never gotten before just a teacup and saucer even for myself I mean like to drink out of it it's really delicate porcelain made out of Ireland by the balique company that green looks really pretty it's a Costa Boda you think it's locked um we love to open cases yeah you do well I don't know how much this one is so we just have to look at it um oh it's forty dollars that's unnecessary I won't do that it's good for somebody else not for me I thought that was brass it's not though it's it's just it's just something it's like resin yeah it's a resin plastic material lightweight look at this woman she got sick at the party she has her head down the toilet you see that what's it say Brian 39 I was like I guess it's an ash tray you shove your ashes and her hair that's interesting and they got this pink elephant bank for 15. painting oh this is do you like this I like this that's beautiful it says inarco 14 that's a beautiful situation I really like that one very mid-century looking I am going to try to find something I swear I'm gonna find something to buy we're not just gonna be looking oh this is one of those cow parades I think maybe or maybe it's just a knockoff oh I think you're a knockoff you're not a cow parade hmm there's a company that produces those I I don't know if it's a Nesco I'm thinking of the word West in the name but I don't know for certain West something does does the cow parade Westland I want to Westland is that right oh that Beanie Baby's not for sale it says ah that's ridiculous I'm leaving they have some really pretty glass Wares up here you see all the all the glasswares oh the paper weights 19 for this one I like this bird oh that has like the little it has a little sticker on there you can barely well I can't read it at all actually hmm that cranberry is really pretty and it's been a minute since I've got anything like this 19 a little spendy for my taste but I'm gonna do it anyway and you're gonna like it here you are oh those are cool the Bakelite uh little round things those are neat you could play checkers or something with them I suppose oh the Fenton and the pink for 38. it's lovely too oh my gosh that's okay it's Czechoslovakia art glass for eighty dollars okay oh they've got more art glass up here and all the Linux figurines they've got the two dolphins and the swan for nine and ten dollars look at the little leak I don't really get to see a whole lot of Lalique but you've got this cat right here it's 195. it's this really interesting shape back there so that's Martin upon with the moriyagi the moriage detailing for 285 dollars that's do you see it though it's like this oblong shorter squat type vase and it's a very interesting almost looks like a purse with no handles the way that it is napan by the way dates between 1891 and 1921. just for your records if you want to write that down somewhere but oh wait what do you see this in front of my face in front of your face you see this it says Fenton turquoise face for 23. it's a tulip top um I'm gonna look at this because I might consider this okay I'm considering it do you think that this belongs into something like it belongs like nested into something I'm starting to feel that way because I don't because once you see these lines here on the bottom do you see that I'm just wondering what's going on this is part of like an upernay set like an Eep like an e Pern you know it doesn't look like the traditional horns that I've seen they call those horns whenever they stick into like the bowl but this isn't that's not how it normally looks but I like the opalescent quality to it the Ed the top there and 23 dollars they say Fenton and I'm like why do you know that how do you know where do you where did you get that idea because I don't see any sticker and I don't see a mark I don't see Mark I don't see Bill I don't see Dennis I definitely don't see Mark though Okay so I know you're like why I'm not here for the jokes just tell me some useful information I know I know oh that's a beautiful that's ugly actually oh this is now this is known as coin Dot or well it's coin glass not coin dot coin dot something else this is coin glass has like these little coins on it and this is in the ruby red 25 for the Fostoria oh look at the framed Port the framed per pearls the framed pearls those are cool this mall has impressed me but then I had coffee before this so maybe that's impressive me sometimes I'm more impressive or I'm more impressed I'm easily impressed oh The Franciscan I think they call this Coronado they didn't write that on there I think this is the Coronado pattern with little twisty bobs the twisty nature to it hmm this is Fenton with the purple flowers 18. oh yeah I don't want her for oh that's pretty this good morning egg cup of the milk glass Hazel Atlas Pilgrim glass it's pretty too for 24. I don't want to forget my basket though oh I like that flower dish down there it's 135 it says Hudson River Ice House Bowl yeah I have this glass case 24 for this like Art Nouveau pin brooch cute 18 for this little it's lovely with the swirls on it 15 off okay so they have an Indiana glass and the Amber for 30 for the fairy lamp oh these are cool look at these candlesticks orange is beautiful that um what's up it's like Bake Light it feels like I'd have to smell it to be sure there's a smell test you can do by the way you just rub it you rub it 34 dollars you you rub it and then you smell so if it smells like ammonia and it's most likely Bakelite so you basically you're just heating it up a little bit that's all you got to do okay no this this is most likely not big light it's beautiful though I like that oh they have the slag you've got the glass and then the silver caddy oh my gosh I've been wanting something like that for a long time but they're usually like 150 200 and I guess I just don't want that much so that's beautiful and maybe I don't know let's see how much they are so this one oh okay this one's 375. oh look at it I mean that one does have a lot of ornamentation on it so I understand I guess I guess if you must be like that and there's also some bleak the elephant's nice too the other one over there is 110. that other one over there the one that we looked at you know and then they do have the milk glass for 58 that's Fenton and it's the epernay as I was talking about earlier the different horns that set into the bowl but you can see they go down to a smaller point which is different than the one that we saw earlier that was kind of more cylindrical at the bottom so I'm not sure still about that other one that we were looking at the hobnail opalescent that's beautiful I think it must be a cheese no not that's not right butter a butter cover putter holder a butter holder oh look at this one that's pretty oh it's Min tin I don't ever get to see Minton oh that's so awesome I love that because you have all the the ivy it's ninten this feels kind of hokey Hokey Pokey it feels kind of stupid you know the feeling no I mean it it doesn't it's chunky it's kind of chunky and look at the Quality not very good yeah I would expect better um I don't know to be honest I've never actually held Minton before but this just doesn't look like something I would want to have in my house ever I feel bad for saying that if that's something somebody collects but this doesn't seem very good even the leaves look like crap look how bad that it's like somebody learned how to use Play-Doh and then they just started I feel justified in saying that because I'm just talking about an object by the way sometimes people um they don't like things I say I don't know why because I'm perfect and no um because I'm speaking in my opinion more objectively about something rather than let's I mean you can get specific about anything if you drill into it like if we were to say oh maybe whoever's watching maybe whoever owned that thing at some point and that's now here and then yes if you tie it back to a person or if you anthropomorphize something into I'm moving on I'm done with the conversation oh that's a pretty vase for 110 . I like it it's fun where's my basket I lost it I think it's out in the hallway oh it's another Flamingo this one is seven dollars I already have this one though it's named Pinky this Flamingo is Pinky wanna do that and we'll keep them separate I'm separate amicably it's fine 46 for the Fenton with the the blue there's also the Northwood tree trunk vase I've bought and sold this one numerous times in carnival glass as well [Music] 53 dollars there's another Fenton piece hand-painted for 26. everything ends in 99 cents I don't know why you would do that just 46 46. yeah most of those are 46. 56 for the orange one it's pretty huh I mean I shouldn't say I don't know why you do that that I write it but this I write about it in my book that subconsciously you will see that as a cheaper item but um I don't think it really works all the time like that it's not a well this is pretty 25 dollars see I have a bad habit of rounding up everything I see oh that might be Linux it is Linux 100th anniversary for 18. little little bear oh the spaghetti poodles 75 for the pair um oh they're salt and pepper shakers okay why does she look so funny that's yadro out of Spain by the way but it's just I don't know something about the pose and the expression on her face so you're just like yep I'm tired of dancing I'm just gonna be on hair on the floor I can't believe this I found a bake light or Catalan if it's colored a bangle two for a dollar are you kidding because this is this one I like of course I'd have to just pick one at random that you know I want to sell all these are very small oh this I like the green I could get the green and the this butterscotch or maybe black for Halloween oh this one's a little sicker I'm gonna try to find another Bake Light well maybe the black is also big light I'll figure it out it was just like I mentioned earlier about you rub it and then you smell it look for that smell you smell for that smell the ammonia yeah this is actually also big light so I'm just gonna do I'll do those two that's called George briard for the lion bank this is a fun giraffe it's a three-legged giraffe and it's eight dollars I'm joking it has four legs I really like that lamp it says that it's 1980s it's also five thousand dollars but it's it's nice it's not the epitome of quality if you you know look at it you but it is leaded glass and it's nice looking you've got the pink and the blue and then the base down here yeah stained Lily Pond it says hard to find there's this giant vase that's stunning I think it's just shy of three hundred dollars oh from afar I can see some words it looks like it says something about Poland did Poland do that I can hardly read it oh my God okay can I get in there maybe well here we're gonna go around oh now this looks like a craftsman style but still it's newer for it was from 1998 and it's nine hundred dollars so it's a craftsman style that was really prevalent around the late 90s early 2000s and Craftsman dates back to around the 1900s time frame Frank Lloyd Wright did some similar stuff with his Prairie movement that he was known for sort of these like lines and things I like Craftsman style as a whole got this like squid looking from the 1990s here it says also from the 90s or two from 2000 um mission style 400 each okay so there's two of them oh that fiberglass that's cool that's it's three thousand dollars but it's from 1947 to 1963. wow that is pretty I and I I like that one okay now this one that we were oh no I don't like those people never mind I thought they were Egyptian people okay it says handmade in Poland I can read from that far that's some good eyesight I've got really good eyeballs I really do I polish them every night oh my gosh if I could justify just spending five thousand dollars on a lamp I I would because there are mermaids on this lamp and they have it dated 1930s it is it's it's older it has all of the details that we look for and that the curved glass hard to find and if that breaks you're pretty much screwed because you've got I mean to find someone who can make you another piece of glass similar in color and anything that is like a sore what do you call like a sorbet or like a what do you call that dessert that Neapolitan kind of dessert that is stunning everything about this is what I like oh my gosh the colorant on here are beautiful has the mermaid on it oh my gosh that's a winner clearly five thousand dollars oh wow that is peach luster with palm trees and it's something I don't usually get to see so I'm really anxious for it and it has the double handles on the sides oh gosh Noritake made in Japan with the M on there my memory is correct that might stand for more [Music] morimura Brothers it's been a minute since I looked that up but this is beautiful with the orange hand painted ah and it's seven dollars the same person that has the five thousand dollar mermaid table lamp over there hey guess what I almost tripped on this chair and broke my face into this Gothic Revival wouldn't that been a great thumbnail like like my face all bruised and battered I would have got so many views all right so I think I did pretty well I got some things in my baggie here a whole lot but that's fine and I will wrap it up here so thanks for watching and don't forget to like comment and subscribe bye
