First Ride: MotoZ Tractionator RallZ 90% Off-Road Knobby for BMW R1250GS Adventure - GS Trophy 2022

hey everyone it's adam here don't adjust your television my bike is just on a hill it looks like it should be this way but actually it's not it's this way so um gs trophy qualifier is taking place in about five weeks we have five weeks until the qualifier and um i have been running tkc 80s michelin anarchy threes wilds and adventures the prolly scorpion rally str's the um at one point the kandi trail attacks were my first kind of dual sport tire which were not trail attacks they were street tires and then i've also ran the ax41 uh bridgestones uh last spring and so i keep going with the knobbies or the tkc80s over and over again those are my go-to tire but enough guys convinced me to buy these so uh gs trophy qualifier if you aren't aware is your chance as well a gs rider anywhere in the world if you're a gs rider um look at your country's bmw website look at your gs trophy qualifier and sign up now uh it's probably already sold out and booked but mine is in five weeks and there's still like 15 spots open heather and i will be there we'll be camping at the moa camping area and i hope to see you there but uh enough about you let's talk about me and my bike uh just a very fast update to show you these the modas or moto z uh tractionator rows r-a-l-l-o i've been calling the rally until i actually unboxed them and i've noticed it says rouse rowles uh these are incredibly aggressive these are not um intended to be um you know they are dot legal but they are not street tires do not pretend to these be street tires i was told they're fine but look at that offset knob look how that knob you know kind of is is going left and right left and right uh and it goes all the way down to the side so if you're stuck in some some crap uh you can easily get out and you've got some even some knobs here on the side that have these little tiny sips but you know i would not i would not sell these to anyone as streetable um mutas or moto z may disagree with that but please there are other tires so moto z has um the uh the tractionator adventure i believe it is um and that is their 5050 tire that's the that's the 50 on road 50 off-road tire it's aggressive it's like a tkc 80 but it is uh you know meant to be touring actually uh bb8 and i had the trans lab and 28 team together had those tractionator adventures and they were great he did 5000 miles on them and then did 5000 more miles on them a really great tire uh in the middle they have a tractionator kind of hybrid that's between those two tires this is their most aggressive um tire that fits on a bmw gs it's it's it's a little gummy it's a very stiff sidewall you can run this down into the 20s and be fine i plan on running 30 30 30 front and 30 rear on the psi and i can't convert that to bars good luck um but 30 30 is how i plan on running this i could not install this myself these these things are wicked hard sidewalls so you've got plenty of feedback from the sidewall there even at a low pressure and i had guys who were instructors um at different schools tell me these are all they run now they are okay in wet do not lean over that far um they are streetable they are fantastic off-road and if you ride primarily off-road these are the tires you're going to want to have so while i have you guys a real quick shout out or plug to um uh subscribe to these videos if you like them um links below have a link to my newsletter where i talk about all my motorcycle adventures if you like good pictures they're in their little description there spinning spokes podcast which has a new episode out uh with a guy who's doing 15 000 miles across country go check it out it's in the uh well every podcast store has it uh and then of course instagram adam chandler adv with some periods between adam and chandler nadv dot dot no dot um next up we are going to be heading to the uh bmw writers association rally in waynesville north carolina i will see you there i will be on this bike i will try to find some clay i will be in the gs giants uh competition area screwing around with this big beast and then after that uh we will be going to the gs trophy qualifier is the next event after that all right guys thanks for watching uh i paid full price for these i hinted at the modas guys that i was going to be um doing the qualifier in these tires and that i have a youtube channel he said cool well here's where you can buy them [Laughter] don't worry as always i buy what i want not what people give me for free uh if i didn't want them i wouldn't have bought them all right guys rock on ride safe enjoy the video and uh yeah take care and if you seriously no matter what your skill level is please go to the performance center and try out for the gs trophy uh it's 400 bucks in the the us riders academy you get seven meals you get camping and you get uh two days of off-road riding in their enduro park with their instructors and who knows you might get a free trip to albania out of it [Music] oh my god you
