good morning everybody so today this is where I always mess up as well I always mess up so you'll probably hear me say the same thing about ten times over especially would have to think about what I'm gonna say as well [Music] your dad come on I wanna cry the cables my trying to be [Music] don't stay aside [Music] Oh you're dead [Music] I wanna cry [Music] when you rinse [Music] good morning everybody so today brings me out to the Lake District so it's my first time out since I've recovered from my operation so yeah and it's great to be back out it's great to be doing some photography once again and being outdoors and everything else so nice early morning so I'm down at bleeped on which is kind of in the Langdale Valley and you can just see behind me that's the Langdale pipes and as we some of you probably will know that blue tone is actually a very very popular location photographers walkers alike so yeah so I've got my first image already set up just down here so just using these boulders there's a little bit of foreground interest you know leading the eye through and then just capturing those fellows in the background and you gets a really kind of good depth of field here like with the foreground from the boulders but also the mid-ground fur coming from side pipe just up here and then the lank that was in the background which I kind of slightly hidden by a little bit of haze as well so just kind of wondering what this Sony's gonna do this morning it's a little bit cloudy the Sun is kind of rising it's a little bit blown out there there we go so Sun is kind of coming up in that kind of direction I'm hoping that when it does pop up right above the film's we'll get some light on the long tail pipes itself and that's always a nice classic shot but yeah well hopefully get a decent mornin fingers crossed especially being my first morning back out so I'm going to wait around see what this Sun does grab a few images oh and before I forget I've also got a time-lapse setup once again using the Fuji in a similar composition so kind of capturing those boulders foreground interest and then capturing the Langdale pipes as well so that's clicking away fog off taking 300 shots auto shutter speed my just want any exposure conversation and f/8 so pretty much my normal go to settings on that so yeah we'll see what that brings hopefully we'll get a little bit of movement in them clouds and there's a slight little movement in the water as well but we're still getting a little bit of a reflection so I'm a crack out the big stopper just to kind of smooth out the water and then see see what effect that gives us right I bet you guys in a bit you could lie I'm gonna bite you so much time you could hurt but hurting is never gonna make it fun you could shake try and shake it off all you can [Music] you might say it's never gonna make you understand [Music] [Music] as much as anything you'll never feel not that safe without those pretty secrets you can see you could be helped you're shouting someone nothin knows you [Music] tell you pull you from me and back to the start [Music] okay so this morning kind of paid off in the end like we're get much at one point it was really struggling to get some really good coloring in the images but that being said a little bit of patience kind of paid off in the end I had to kind of scrap the first time lapse because there really wasn't a lot going on but once we started getting light on the on the Langdale points there in the background and the rest of it it's kind of hopefully I haven't checked it yet but hopefully we're gonna get a nice time-lapse of the light moving across the landscape so I'm hoping that's that's what it's going to give us also got some good drone images from kind of quite far away just just back up there so the drone was up near where them trees are here and got some really good pictures of the whole lake hopefully so we'll see how they turn out and when things weren't really playing - well I don't know if you can just about see there's these trees just here you've got my long lens out and just zoomed in on them kind of using them as a little bit of a kind of a bit of interest and a little bit of scale against the Langdale pike sir so we'll see how that image turned out and there's a nice little bit of contrast there because when I took that image where those trees were was all still kind of dark there wasn't any light falling on them but there was like on the fells in the background also did a nice long exposure that kind of worked really well so gave us some really nice blurry clouds and the waters been up and down this morning sometimes it's been a little bit rippling or it's been like it is now where it's nice and still but you know the long exposure gave us the opportunity to smooth those ripples out and give us a nice effect to the image and also just over there where that gentleman there is standing got a really nice image of a few rocks there just gives you a nice bit of perspective over here because you know you get the trees just there on that kind of outcrop to focus on can't really take credit for this image because this gentleman here this gentleman here managed to kind of spot that so definitely credit to to him for spotting that so what's your name by the way John so credit to John for for that composition there so I'm not going to take credit for that one myself oh yeah some really lovely rocks just down there actually and I'm gonna get him in his image too much because I'm casting a shadow but there's some rocks Aaron it was some really nice colors on them as well so that should work pretty well so and colors starting to go a little bit flat now and it wasn't really a great deal of color in the sunrise this morning which was a bit of a shame but you know it's still a lovely morning can't complain it's been a long time since I've been out so it's really really good to be out and about and doing what I love so just got that time lapse still to wrap up and I think that's about done for today so thanks very much for watching and until next time [Music] why do i why do I get so upset when a father [Music] do I every time with you Express what is on your mind [Music] Oh to [Music] all the [Music] the song [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] to us why do I you do [Music] there was [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music]
