First Impressions on Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam 🇻🇳 (Saigon)

hello from hot City right now we are in Vietnam's biggest city with over 9.2 million people previously we were in fuok island and we took a flight here last night so today is going to be our first impressions of Vietnam or Vietnam Mainland so this is what 9.2 million people look like there's just scooters all over the town Crossing these roads you can see is also something unique but I guess we're going to have to go because we are on the hunt for breakfast and specifically a b me we have tried one already but it wasn't as good yeah so we want to try and give it a second chance and because he's super hungry the first order of today before exploring markets and other places here in the city we want to try a b me are you ready okay we can go we can go oh um okay but this is it's a green man just walk okay just walk just walk you I'm sure they're used to us so it's fine but honestly I have never seen so many scooters in my life this city is crazy busy it's Madness actually yeah it almost looks like a Formula 1 race watch him 3 2 1 go go go yo that kid almost died I guess welcome to hoi WI all right let's find a bom me who you can go buddy I guess people are allowed to ride on the Pavements as well je and Skip all the traffic you have to be vigilant everywhere you are in this city even when you're walking on the Parkways behind jeez if I have to have a scent just one cent for every motorbik that I saw in this city I'd be a millionaire anybody want to give us a scent for every motorbike you see this one doesn't have a green man so we're going to have to risk this one I don't know when's like a safe chance to go now he stopped okay I think he stopped thank you thank you well thank you thank you oh thank you well at least we know pedestrian Crossings work here what tells you that this is a very famous Bon me look at the amount of grab drivers that are here food delivery guys that one El looks popular they the same same same same same oh okay well you know a place is good when they need two shops right next to each other yeah and both are packed check this free delivery guy free delivery guy free delivery guy free delivery guy free delivery guy stand we can stand here yeah okay oh okay thank you so I guess we're in the food delivery queue that's why all the locals and tourists are in the other one cuz this is just a food delivery guy but they said much thank you the N is now a delivery driver can call and I'll deliver your food to you come on thank you so much thank you these are massive it's kind of like you have to construct your own though oh they give you like a little salad separately oh wow okay just to give you the idea of how big this bunme is it's bigger than my face look at this it's got like flush chicken cheese I don't know pork ham just a combination of everything and then they have also given you veggies that you can also put in here which which I definitely think I'm going to be doing think this easy scooter sorry man shame people here are so polite they're waiting for us to finish filming Let Me Hold Your Bon me and then you can fill it is the Bon Me good it's good that's his breakfast I don't think I'm going to be hungry for the rest of the day so just to give you an idea of where this bar me comes from is Vietnam was actually colonized by the French so this is basically a baguette with Vietnamese cuisine inside of it so it's kind of like the best of both of what Vietnam has to offer a little bit of the history and as well as proper Vietnamese food I think we should have shared one I think so too I didn't realize it would be this big and the bread is so crispy and crunchy okay let's give it a BT I don't know where to start that is delicious and every mouthful has something inside normally when you're eating like bread rolls the ends bits you're just getting the bread but this one they have completely folded delicious wow I'm going to shift up some of your cucumber yes this is huge W that is so much better than the other one we tasted wow I feel like I'm tasting a fresh fresh fresh baguette oo oh hey I'm just eating a b me sorry okay let's move out of his way so he can't see us how we going to finish this I think we're going to have to share this one and save the other one for later probably oh watch your friends this is terrible my gosh I really started to love this city every single street that you walk has always got these little shops on the side there's so many scooters you're not only being entertained visually but J are being entertained audibly it is crazy but it is awesome you can't even walk the Pavements here the scooters are actually riding on the Pavements to skip traffic wow full now thank you so much okay looks like the Vietnamese people love lean they're so sweet everyone's so friendly and so kind and we' passed that guy twice now and he keeps saying you're so beautiful oh there's another guy oh say have to way check at this he has the [Music] road oh you got to be careful where you walk oh my gosh my anxiety levels are like up here right now we're just going to have to do it cuz there's no robots I'm 30 years old old and I feel like I need someone to hold my hand in order to cross this road holy moly let's go okay keep on walking oh my God you literally just have to walk they see you and they'll drive around you so you'll probably notice that in this video the only language that we can speak is English now we've always wanted to learn a new language but being Nomads and constantly on the go it's not always easy to actually go to a try some Vietnam coffee so I can imagine with a market so big you're probably going to expect to find everything from shoes to sunglasses to wallets to bags to basically everything but we are here for one goal to maybe see if we can find some Vietnamese coffee we don't know if this is the right place to find it but you know what Vietnamese coffee it should be anywhere right oh yes food maybe they're going to have Vietnamese coffee here hello s you have you have Vietnamese coffee oh it's Vietnamese coffee yeah okay well that was pretty easy which one's the Vietnamese coffee Vietnam Cafe the cafe s cafe cafea and the ca Cafe D Cafe dend so the cafe s and the cafe dender that's what we've ordered one is ISO and iced mil coffee so I don't know if it's true Vietnamese coffee but if they say it is I'm going to believe them on that Cafe come on okay let's give this coffee a taste oh that's strong that is super super strong it's like I don't know it's a really strong coffee I don't think it's something that i' would order again but maybe I'll get used to it after having a few more sips mine's the Milky one the an one is just like a pure black coffee I think y mine tastes like it's got a double shot of some vodka in thereo that is really nice I'm not going to lie let me give yours a taste oh no yours is terrible I think yours might have a little bit of condensed milk in it I think that's what it is it's got a little bit of a Tang to it which is super nice this is terrible so order the the milk one the cafe sua next time the milk one well at least we try some vietamese coffee definitely enough caffeine in here to keep me caffeinated for the rest of the day it seems like they're just selling a lot of souvenirs and bags oh no I'm good thank you can see they kind of just stop you and try to get you to buy a few of their stuff which is understandable it's business but it does look like one side is the food section and then the other side is the market basically only seeing souvenirs clothes Takis and that's basically it just for you hey it's a good one a good one go go go are we all right wo wo okay okay we're in the middle over here it's crazy we've just the city we have to try the national dish of Vietnam which is fur hi ah yes please yeah we can sit you you have good fur it's good so I guess we just going to sit on this small little table we are here right on the side of the road so we can actually people watch which is a very popular thing to do here in Vietnam hello hello hi oh what's that okay you have so which is the best one best one ta mix it all together then you eat it all in one the mint is obviously flavoring it and so is the coriander oh what's that sweet chili yeah and barbecue adding a whole bunch of stuff yeah oh we definitely eating it the right way now mix and then you put in meat meat little bit okay thank you thank you all right I think you mix yours with the chili and I'm going to keep mine plain so that we can try it with the chili and one with without chili I don't want to put too much chili as I still want to enjoy it but I think we'll put a little bit by little bit until it's perfect for our taste bud I think that's why they give you all of the ingredients separately as everyone enjoys it differently so you can kind of like assemble it to your taste are you ready a famous thing is called four B which is the fur which is what we have here and B is beef which is inside this thing so it's a beef noodle fur so it's fur ball are you ready I'm ready okay 1 two 3 m so good wow wow wow wow that is tasty it's almost like a a beef broth soup that's delicious I'm getting that minty flavor taste like a lemongrass taste but the beef is very very soft and it taste like all the ingredients individually it's so good I understand now why everyone Raves about this dish and why it's also the national dish I can see ourselves having loads of these while doing our Vietnam and this is only costing us like uh $4 for a Whole Bowl and I mean you've seen the size of this bowl right extremely affordable thank you come on thank you thank you bye-bye all right now that our stomach are full we've got one more thing left to do there's apparently like a super big bar Street close to where we staying here in District 1 and we're going to go take a walk down it just to kind of check the craziness of it and then end the video in a true Vietnamese style welcome to Boyen which is the bar Street of District 1 here in hman City basically on this street is where everybody comes to party you can see all the clubs to our right then you get attacked no thank you by people trying to get you in to eat moreall sorry man no thank you my man good thank you no thank you no thank you my man thank you as you can see the main aim of the game yeah is to kind of get pulled into a shop so that you can drink something but generally the music yeah is so loud that each place is just competing against each other so here we have found ourselves a bar cuz this is what you got to do on the street we are sitting on these small little chairs we've ordered ourselves a saon be and guess what we're doing we are people watching so like you can see y we busy sitting on a small little chair right on the side of the road in the bar Street just so that we can people watch we absolutely enjoy watching
