what's up everybody so in today's video we are adding even more horsepower to the gt-r my 3 inch air intakes have arrived so these are the aam competition 3 & 2 air intakes I'm gonna go ahead and install them and then we're gonna remap the car for a full stage to tune adding quite a lot of power from stock we're well over a hundred horsepower from stock we're well over that bird from stock for adding well over a hundred with horsepower so that is going to be a pretty noticeable game so real quick definitely check out the link below to a Am's website they have a huge selection of all performance parts for all the nissan sports cars and i am working with them remote tuning the car for all these mods so definitely check them out they have a lot of really cool parts so to begin the video let's unbox the new intake [Music] [Applause] [Music] so with everything unbox we can take a better look at the new Aaron case so these are three inch Sharon Tate's the ones I have right now are 2.75 inch these ones do not require tune you can run these with these stock configuration and then a real quick for enter view GTR owners out there I will be selling the 2.75 its air intakes if you are interested in them send me a message on Instagram along with that I also have an upgraded y-pipe for sale so for any of you looking for some nice used parts I have in tights and the mid-pipe you get yourself a really nice stage 1 setup [Music] [Music] so at this point I was planning to already install this one site get it all done and then show you how to do this turns out the new filter is definitely not going to fit in this area you can see we really don't have much room right here and the new air filter for the three inch pipe is a lot bigger than the one for the 2.7 inch intake so this one is much smaller as you can see so that'll means I gotta take the bumper off it shouldn't be too bad I believe we have a bolt up here by the reflector maybe one or two under here and then I think a lot of plastic tabs under here [Music] [Applause] so about an hour later I have the bumper off as much as they need to so as you saw it's kind of a wiggle off all we really had to do is one bolt right here and then a second one which was farther in here so you really have to push this fender back to get there and then there's one bolt on the bottom as well and then going along the underside there's a bunch of these rubber things you're gonna want to pop off you can see them right here so those kind of circles and then there's another bolt weigh like three or four inches up there so just the front lip here the plastic things I've already head off and then there's two tabs right here those need to just pop out and then that's held in but now I need two hands to do this but I can pull this up and I should be able to get the air filter right in there there we go air filter fits in there and just like that that side is complete it really wasn't the hardest thing to do the 3-inch intakes are definitely a little bit more challenging than the 2.75 but overall that is nice and tight in there everything is tight and back together everything is looking really good so real quick so the 2.75 versus the 3 much different all right so we got the intercooler pipe off and everything not too bad now all you got to do is just move this out of the way and you can see the two clamps that I got to loosen up and then loosen up the air fills and really just pop this thing off and then real quick this is making a really good screwdriver holder it's a lot better than trying to find them so here is the air filter a little bit later so I believe I've had these on for maybe two to three thousand miles so still in really good shape and then just take the air filter just pulling up the whole bumper and we just slide it right through there I will just let it sit pretty much straight [Music] all right so we have finished putting in the new air intakes into the car this side once again went so much quicker than the first side for whatever reason so now all that I have to do is just pop bumper back into place and then just a few screws came out we have two right here that went up in this area and then this one I believe went in the bottom of it and that of course put the reflector back in but other than that I just have a few on the underside a bunch of these bolts actually go and connect the bumper to the front lip and then these little plugs go in it and then I took a few things out that were unnecessary just a few other random bolts [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] installation now complete of the 3 inch aam cold air intake kit so now before I start up the car we're gonna go ahead and reflash the ECU so in order to do that I'm just gonna turn the ignition to the on position and then we're gonna take the Cobb tuner and if you guys remember in the first video I showed you how to actually download the maps onto the cobb tuner so right here I already have a bunch of different maps on it so this one is Cobb Stage two off the shelf map so we're gonna go ahead and roll with this one and kind of break in the car technically with it that way and then am and I will work on remote tuning this for their own stage two which will be much more aggressive alright so it is now just resetting that you see you everything is working so now we turn the ignition off when I count the 15 all right and then back to the on position let it continue alright now we turn it off alright so now [Music] all right so cars running that with the new math let's go ahead and just go ahead and open up the hood I mean see if there's any type of leaks or anything weird going on with the engine idling but just looking at it I mean everything it looks good I'm trying to feel the clamp to make sure everything is secure and nice and tight we don't want any random pieces loose or anything like that but I did a few checks everything should be in tip-top shape so on to the next day I drove the car home last night but like 30 miles on it to let everything reset so now we're gonna take the car out to see what it really drives like and then real quick here as they look at the extra mid pipe that I have for sale definitely send me a message on Instagram if you're interested and then the entire 2.75 inch air intake so that'll be a really nice stage one set of friend of your GTR owners out there so definitely send me a message on Instagram so we'll do a third year pull getting out of this one turn I've done a few smaller accelerations just to monitor the air-fuel ratios oh my goodness that was half throttle the third year rent holy crap are to the fourth year that is fresh oh my goodness so back to the other intake there was a ton of power down low and then a lot of power up high this with the bigger air intakes there's obviously more air coming in needs to now for a little bit more fuel to compensate for the added air Wow that is and I haven't even Florida I will do a third gear acceleration more full-throttle Wow oh my goodness that is crazy that is that it's so good that I don't even have to say that is awesome that is really quick the response is quicker I think there's less trouble lack now just because I mean the turbos are getting more air so it feels like as soon as I hit it there's still the little turbo lag but it just keeps seeing a lot quicker so we'll get on the highway now with a second gear acceleration that's when I mean it's really gonna rip let's see this is like all my gosh I mean there's nothing I can film that is gonna do that justice but literally an all-wheel-drive GTR that started like going sideways a little bit like it's like a gear like that hole so I'm not sure the exact dyno numbers but stock-car is roughly 430 at the wheels the engine is at 545 I'm pretty sure right now we are into the 500 that the wheels at this stage to set up my legs are literally like shaking that was incredible so let's do a fourth-year highway acceleration now from about 65 once again I'm blown away with how the gt-r can get even quicker it's so fast onclick I am that is getting quick and then I've been watching the air/fuel ratios I think it's been around 11 and 12 under full throttle which is good 14 is pretty much normal idling obviously don't want anything more than that but I'm pretty sure the off-the-shelf table map is going to be very conservative just because this is designed for any gt-r with these few parts so when we dial it in it's gonna be a little bit more aggressive just because we're able to literally look at the car see how it's performing so we're gonna find you in a little bit more but oh that is awesome so back on the highway we'll do is another second-year like half throttle acceleration and then will for I want to be in the third all my goodness that is insane so we get up next to a car just you can kind of see the acceleration so you'll see this truck and trailer fourth gear seventy that is so great that is unrelenting awesome alright so that is wrapping up test driving the full stage to set up on the GTR next video I do will be of course data logging in doing the custom tuning with am so that is gonna be a lot of fun but already off-the-shelf Stage two is insane for the car that is awesome so hope you guys enjoyed the
