Filter your LogCat like a PRO - #Shorts

are you tired of debugging your application by looking into a bunch of unnecessary information which you don't always need in your logs did you know that you can filter your log yet and only show the exact messages which you are searching for well then there is an easy solution for that you just need to clean up your locket header so here you can see that we have logged a simple message that says are triggered and the tag of data log is the main activity so on the left side of those two we have some optional information like a package name like a process and thread ids and a date and time now to remove this optional text we just need to click this little settings icon or a logcat header icon and then from this pop-up we need to uncheck all those options except this last one which says show tag now click ok let's run our app once again and there you go so now we can see only those two important information which we actually wanted like share and subscribe for more interesting shorts
