Fawlty Towers Season 2 Episode 4 The Kipper and the Corpse Reaction

hey folks how's it going we're checking out more faulty towers hopefully you guys have a fantastic day now the last episode i already covered why i think it felt different i don't think it was a bad episode it just felt it was just different it could have been like the american guy that he wasn't funny to me he was just like a douchebag where the old lady who was a bad customer was actually funny to me she was really entertaining he just really wasn't entertaining to me and don't get me wrong there are funny moments an episode my favorite being faulty leaving and coming back as a customer at the end showing that he didn't learn anything from being like berated by all the customers or the american that you're going to see my point of view no matter what so since you respect customers so much you listen to everything they're saying they're always right i'm going to be a customer i'm going to list off all these demands and you're not going to be able to push me around to do the work because i'm not here i quit now i'm a customer so you have to deal with all the [ __ ] i deal with like 80 of the time because civil might be good at customer service but in all honesty she maybe deals with the customers like maybe 20 of the time when there's an error or like faulty is just being a little bit too much of a douchebag she'll step in but for the most part it's usually faulty and everybody else kind of runs around doing stuff and she's on the phone she's reading a book she's um joking around or like you know laughing with like an individual customer i don't that's why i think she's not as fed up with the customers as the other ones are because even polly gets really irritated by customers and i think silva would be a lot more annoyed if she dealt with uh the rigamarole and all the other stuff that the rest of them deal with and she just doesn't and i guess that's a good thing because maybe if she did all of them be [ __ ] in the hotel are closed down you probably need somebody there to not deal with all the rest of the [ __ ] so they can be primed and ready for the hospitality piece you know so it all makes sense i guess in like a way but i think he wanted to put her in his shoes where she didn't have somebody like him to run around and do the [ __ ] and she had to deal with them straight up in that moment because he was a customer now which i like that um i kind of like that he's stubborn and he didn't really learn a lesson he still to the end after quitting the job still wanting to prove a point to his wife so i like that i like that he's stubborn i like that his customer service is bad all right man that is let's just jump into it i'll talk long enough don't you my darling oh isn't he beautiful very attractive little fella what is it he's a little shih tzu really oh dear dad yeah what breed is it well then there are lap dogs aren't they a laptop oh hard to imagine him stalking a reindeer what uh major can i get you another one ah why not why not good for you mrs chase oh nothing for me thank you but prince would like a little saucer of warm middle cause it's nearly our bedtime yes man well manuel will attend to its hearts desires i'm we we have to be very careful mr faulty he's not very strong indeed yes a rapid movement of air could damage him irreparably if um if anyone could keep them in air-tight containers we had to breathe when he voted well he could try major he could try anything else for you uh no thank you no it's a bit late we'd better get upstairs quite quickly sorry to have kept you um oh just one piece my tail i manage there can we do that yes we can i'll pull you back yeah your legs all right so well most of our guests managed to struggle down in the morning i wanted to oh my god a full breakfast on the continental no i don't know chef does a very good for breakfast eggs bacon sausage tomato fried they're the continental rosewood mahogany tea ah they got what would you like your breakfast tray made out of i don't really mind oh you should do it will you go along and have a really good night's sleep then i'm hoping to get a couple of hours later on myself i'll be having good time to serve your breakfast in bed if you can remember to sleep with your mouth open you won't even have to wake up i'll just drop in small pieces of lightly buttered pepper when you're breathing in the right direction if that doesn't put you out oh no not a saucer come on i said a bowl hey boy yes i'm not code like that that's too cold i said tepe didn't i mars grande manuel de agua caliente ah catch pneumonia after that and bring another that now put that under him the cushion the cushions see he bite me you frightened him okay you make sudden movements like that of course he's going to bite don't you have dogs in calcutta oh my god this lady excuse me but i have an order for eggs and sausages for this table oh yes the sausages the hip oh the man in the world he bite me cut them up cut them up into little pieces no not my eggs not my eggs the sausages oh sorry ah he might pull it through you see i'm like cut that [ __ ] up yourself later loud in the dining room at least the staff should know how to handle them i'll cut them up in the kitchen little pieces no no mr lima and dad well that would explain a lot no mr porter really paul just said so what are you all about i just took him his kippers oh my god oh no would make it worse he's been dead for hours mr faulty he's cold he's been dead for hours he must have died in his sleep mr paul he hasn't touched those kippers well look milk and we'd forgotten it you brought the milk with the breakfast no the breakfast was already up well who brought the breakfast who found it you mean to tell me you didn't realize this man was dead people don't talk that much in the morning oh look i'm just delivering a tree right if the guest isn't singing oh what a beautiful morning i don't immediately think oh there's another one snuffed in knife another name in a 40 towers book of remembrance i mean this is a hotel not a burma railway yes but i mean he does actually say hotel outside home perhaps i should be more specific hotel for people who have a better than 50 chance of making it oh there it is for that that's the other one good morning then well good morning oh it's all right leave it no leave it in heavy oh no it's quite a wrap what does that mean if i i'll do it miss tim no it's all right [Laughter] oh my god oh my god this is so much worse it's always happening he's dead this is her husband she hasn't got over died 30 years ago she doesn't mean any arm in the fabric no more today you've had enough oh my god oh my god sorry about the delay doctor normal service has been resumed as soon as possible more coffee the lady i'll turn the radio it's a terrible scream what were you doing back there ladies oh no back there but he wouldn't fit the sight when all the doors were full come on is everything all right he wants to eat now i've been trying to sit down he keeps moving things from my table i'm so sorry he doesn't seem to understand that i haven't finished breakfast mango [Laughter] there we are oh [ __ ] your dress is very modern i didn't realize women did it it was he's downstairs no no in the basket i bake your pot he's in the basket in the basket yes hello what what's he doing in the basket not much what are you talking about oh my god he's gone where is he fresh laundry they've taken him oh my god i see miss mr lehmann yes we thought you said the linen brilliant sorry sorry that's it sorry to keep really hello my sweet what are you doing well it's a bit involved here but uh we thought that these gentlemen thought that we thought that their company no no no that's not it no they were coming for mr lehmann and we thought that they were coming to collect the linen oh i'm sorry sorry come oh the beat and caught a fire and everything i quit get out i was strike here is nice you see this you're next oh there you are there you do look nice ladies and gentlemen ladies and gentlemen laundry is ready ladies and gentlemen there have been a lot of cock-ups this morning you all deserve an explanation and i'm happy to say that my wife will give it to you thank you thank you what's going on boys [Applause] [Music] that's all [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] that was good i love how manuel said i quit like you just it is not the carrying the dead body it's just that he was tired from carrying a dead body is where he draws the line oh my god dude you've been caught on fire beat everything but carrying a dead body for too long i'm done i'm tired oh this is a good episode man this is funny this is fun a whole lot what's going on it was fantastic man that old lady with the dog was annoying the old lady go see the dead body was annoying like chick get out of here i would have a word with you have a word later jesus man oh she just had to get it off her chest like what are you going to say to him i was upset that you put me by a damn body like okay i think he already knows that by all the screaming they're passing out this is good this funny episode man that lady was annoying the lady with the dog was annoying a little cold-blooded though because there are people who do that kind of stuff like they're mad at the person they'll take it out on the dog but dude you gotta you you can only take it out on the person it's their fault when it comes to like animals and stuff but uh because she let the dog get with the whole buying thing and everything so i would have put a whole bunch of hot sauce on her food uh but i get it's a comedy it's just like a joke or whatever but still i was thinking like yeah you guys should put hot sauce on her food because she's the one who made that dog that way where he's snippy and biting people and spoiling the heck out of him like yeah like i think wrong we spoil our pets uh but we also don't make sure we'll make it let them bite people and stuff and if we did we deserve the retaliation personally like huh this is the episode man this is very funny he said a lot what's going on yeah this is good this is really good and i love how faulty just ditched her and made her take care of all of it it's kind of like what i was saying earlier about the last episode how civil really just gets she gets to be the good guy most of the time you know the main like faulty like she can clearly help more but she'll like she's like i gotta go take care of something she's on the phone or like [ __ ] around somewhere and falsies kind of running around which most likely is what adds to his frustration and given she's better with customer service but i think the reason why she's better is because she isn't as fed up she isn't as fed up because she doesn't deal with them as much if you get what i mean like she only has to deal with like i said for the 10 percent so she always feels good about herself cleaned up all faulty's mistakes you know um because it's easy like let me do this for you and do this for you it's just much easier just like you said like i said being like the the good guy for like that that 10 or whatever other time and as you can see i'm running around talking helping everybody in the bar area and then she goes she calls him to go make a sandwich while she goes piss goes and pisses about on the phone talking [ __ ] so yeah man it's good episode i enjoyed it i thought it was fantastic all right guys that is it man that is all for this one hopefully you guys are happy safe
