okay G we have hit machiner okay he is racing on machines that were not very technologically perfected and yet he got the most out of them and most horsepower and handling nearly ace it was not socially acceptable we're still considered to daredevil and someday when I grow up I want to be just like n Fisher who's almost like a conductor of an orchestra you made him do magic you want a restaurant within Fisher your stock just went up I always thought I want to be just like any picture when I took over this little gas station in parks burg several years I worked from 8:00 in the morning till 10:00 at night seven days a week but when rod goats came and asked me if I want to write a new factory to the beginning of the end did you have a nickname in you 101 scaredy 61 T 100 raceway this is on the PTR drugs fourteen thousand rpms and you're thinking about racing it next year right yes hopefully I was working on a farm when I turn 16 decides I need a motorcycle or they will save ninety-five dollars to pay for my first Indian motorcycle a boy in 19 41 I couldn't imagine myself when I was 16 and got my first motorcycle I never would be able to compete and ride with the pro motorcycle riders because I thought they were different about you people at different levels and different everything but my first expert race on the half-mile track I beat the number one racer Paul Goldsmith it was a factory Harley rider and was paid to come to Richmond to make sure they had a winner but I want I wrote harder that's why I was able or did win a few races over guys that had better bikes better equipment even factory race but I guess everybody goes back to the coin Ian 1973 when he won that race this was a big big deal back then it was a contender every single race in every discipline be a road racing be a dirt track whatever was because how small he was he just realized how competitive even via motorcycle you know you guys like a jockey [Music] when I started racing I didn't start racing because you could make a bunch of one of your races it's because it's another way of having fun riding motorcycles if you made any money you thought that was just something extra [Music] in 1952 when I had my first ride on a Triumph race bike they definitely stole my heart that I thought was the best bike that I could ever get on [Music] [Music] you know you know you how to race her anymore but you enjoy doing what you did when you were raised my wife while he's coming up with that wants to race roller racer every time he gets behind the handlebars or wheel you don't play your races all the time [Music] we all lived in the very same place what would you say to somebody that says it's too old to do those things they might be right but I'm gonna keep doing as long as I can just like today this pact [Music] in the lands in the trees about there now I can't imagine my life without having a motorcycle a ride and then to race and to travel Florida go to California wrote the going to Alaska in 85 when you pass a dairy farm it has its own familiar odor smells flowers and all kinds of stuff that you read you know I enjoy that and that is one thing that I like when I ride bike you see and smell and taking a lot of things you don't when you're driving the car or truck or whatever readers go through it and don't even pay attention [Music] how does it feel what's it like riding that bike it's feels new drilling must've shrunk up on it people usually cues me of trying to go faster anyway I went along I enjoyed about this still for my pictures out there coming up I know I don't have another 10 or 15 years to ride yet that I might say as long as I live about hope I can write the old-timers still call me fast at anything [Music] [Music] that's how we do it in shock [Music] you [Music]
