hey guys my name is Daniel and I bought a Farber wear professional complete washer for the countertop and I wanted to make this video just to kind of document this purchase but also kind of help you because I know there's not a lot of videos out there I wanted to help you maybe better determine what you're gonna do for your dishwasher needs as you can see I've got a fairly small kitchen I just bought this house and it's a smaller area and I really I hate doing dishes and a full-size dishwasher would eat up even more space in my kitchen and so I've bought this online on Amazon and it was a great purchase for me I believe so far for the price of what it says it can do so in this video I'm going to be unpacking it setting it up and then kind of showing you the dimensions of it giving a good video so you can see what it would be like to be on your countertop hopefully and then run a cycle show you the results what if what up what it went up against and then hopefully have better help you finding out if this is the right dishwasher for you in your space and we'll get right into the video all right so first off just wanted to kind of go through what the box actually says says it's a complete washer there's no installation needed it's got a built-in water tank as well as a faucet hookup so you've got two options there that's really one of the selling points that why I finally pulled the trigger on this one in particular then down below says five wash cycles for glass for fruit for a baby bottle wash for those types of toys are rapid-cycle and then a normal cycle it also conserves water uses less water than regular dishwasher obviously it's much smaller it's not gonna have to use as much water that's kind of a given but they put that on the box I'll go ahead and turn the box over here so on this side of the box it just kind of shows the different cycles and the features of it has a high-pressure dual spray efficiency which cleans dishes thoroughly steam clean and wash baby bottles quickly and easily right on your countertop and then it just shows the no installation you don't have to run a permanent line to a to a water spout or anything like that and then use uses a gallon 1.3 gallons of water less than that one seventh of the water needed to hand wash dishes and then has a an advanced drying system which removes moisture and odors and then the last part just kind of shows the fruit clean or clean fruit to remove any chemical residue prior to eating it's got that fruit basket to be able to properly clean your fruit in that convenient box and we'll go ahead and open up the box and get into it alright so we're gonna begin opening up the box first thing we've got is the dishwasher manual and we'll put this off to the side for the moment Wow okay this is a lot styrofoam here pretty well packaged securely I would say this is pretty pretty thick AHA there it is okay so let me get this put up on the counter and we'll get into the actual dishwasher okay so we're gonna open up the and as you can see they've got all of the Wow okay Olaf Archer the Energy Guide talking about the estimated yearly energy cost so seventeen dollars use with the natural gas water heater Wow okay so that they've got it pretty well secured in here more styrofoam get this off and this off as well so I had a little protection the front there that and then we get the knife again these [Music] you start pulling this out so this is the fruit basket as we talked about earlier we put that up here next beeline if you are going to be hooking this up more permanently this is the water line from the back of the actual dishwasher to hooking up to the faucet or another water line you may have this is that hose there okay here's the hose it takes the water from the used water from the dishwasher and it drains it into your sink so this is that hose here so you've got two hoses one in one out you've got your pitcher be able to pour the water into the reservoir up top here and then we've got a tie here that's holding this on and this is for your silverware I believe that just kind of clips on there up top but this is you can hold quite a few in here and then I believe that is everything inside I'm going to go ahead get this tape off here I'll get it cleaned up here and then we'll kind of break it down and start setting it up all right so just real quick before we get into the installation I just want to kind of go over the basket setup so first I had a hard time getting the silverware kind of clip-on thing that goes here but it's actually really simple I struggled pretty hard with it but basically this just kind of snaps on and it's meant to be at this angle it's not meant to be leveled it's meant for this to be as flexible as it needs to be depending on what's underneath here that's a big bonus I didn't really think about until now but this allows you to still have all your silverware here and it be at any angle with anything underneath that might be moving it up or down next is you have if you're going to have rows of plates you've got these little Clips here that basically hold this row in place so you're able to do that one and then this one will snap into place it is plastic so just understand plastic does not last for forever but I'm sure even easily you could even after a bunch of different washes you know for years you could still get this to work and just get this held up in place permanently and so you've got you've got all your rows here set up to be able to put them all in and then this is flexible it'll just slide in and then close the door we will get into the installation now all right so now that I've got the dishwasher just about in place where I'm going to want it to be we're gonna look at the back and I get that all booked up and if you remember the first hose that we pulled out this is the one that would be going to the actual faucet so if you're planning on doing that you can go ahead and set that up at this time that's going to be this right here and you just gonna take off the bus it there take off this cap and be able to hook it on there and then you go straight to your faucet this is going to be your return line so that would then be this hose this hose just kind of clamps over the opening there and then it's got a little suction arm to be able to hold it closed into the sink so when it drains it's not going to be shooting everywhere it's just going to go perfectly on the side and be out of the way for your sink so at this time I'm going to be hooking this up because I am NOT going to be doing the permanent line being hooked up to that I'm just going to be using the reservoir where you fill it up out on top and that's gonna be my go-to option also this power cord did have a tie with plastic around it I already took that off and it does have a three prong to be able to be grounded so that's great you know I've got a power plug just right up in there so this is going to be good for me and I'm gonna get this return line hooked up and then we will put it in place and then go from there so real quick I thought you were just gonna have to compress this for the return line but it actually is a Phillips screw that goes in and that's what gives the proper tension to hold this in place to make sure that you're here return water doesn't shoot all over your countertop so what I have here is just a Philips screw driver we're going to tighten this up that'll give it all the tension it needs we're not going to go too far I wouldn't advise using a drill or anything crazy that might be a little too much too quick and you might have some real problems this is this is a rubber material and then plot a plastic hose so just be real careful with it don't you don't have to be crazy but I'm just kind of slowly tightening this up kind of feeling it it's still got a little bit of room and we're just getting this tight enough just for it to compress and make sure it stays on there we don't want this thing getting pulled off and then in the middle of the night if you were to run it have a real problem with that so that's secure there I could go much tighter if I wanted but this thing's not going anywhere and we're in good shape so we'll go ahead plug this in in get the water filled up and go at all right so I've got the return line hooked up back there you're probably going to need a coil the return line a little bit so that can actually not get too crinkled up or by the plastic get cut off so that it can actually flow out so right there I've got the return line hooked up there this section doesn't seem to do very well but even if it wasn't here I would still be confident that this would just come straight down not too big of a deal so with that in place we will fill up the water and then run a full cycle all right so filling the water reservoir I just has to peel the sticker this is where the cap is underneath this sticker I know so we'll go ahead and peel this off it's pretty secure there oh there we go there is the cap and let's get this off of here all right so this is the cap that just locks into place going in they're able to take that out fill it in there looks like there's a pretty good filter in here if you needed to clean this out when you pour water into the top so that's got a pretty good system there you can just spin it out spin it back in and then put the cap there and you're all locked in place after you pour the water in and then we'll go to putting a pulse cycle in here and getting it going pressure just to recap once I got this reservoir cap off there's a little spin on filter you can spin this out or put it back in make sure it's all clean there's no residue or anything in there but once you fill it up to five liters it will then beep at you and letting you know hey I'm full and pull also by the way because of this filter how it's made with this design water does kind of spill out around here so just have a towel ready to go if if that's going to happen to you I try to be as safe as I could spilling but it still happens so if you're gonna be using this option as a way to get it put together having water run through with the reservoir then just make sure that you have this in mind and lastly before we actually put a full cycle in here and run it I just want to show you one other thing if you take out the basket here so to the side you can see first of all that there's a there's a light up here LED light so that's pretty cool it does have the normal jet on the bottom here but also on the bottom this is well where all the water drains to this has an additional filter and so you can take this out clean it do whatever you need to do I'm sure there's a replacement parts after you use it for so long if you need to get a brand new one I'm sure you can and that's where the water actually drains down into it looks like a pretty solid filter to make sure that you don't get anything gummed up this does lock into place so that's secure there it has everything it needs to do its kind of do and so you can see a little water already still in here from when they originally tested it they test all of these when I read in the manual before they actually ship them out so it's good to know that they've already been tested if you work and we will go ahead fill this up and run a full cycle all right so I've got all the so worth much as I could put in here like I said before this is meant to be able to swivel so I've got my cup in there I've got a big plate some Tupperware Bowl you mixing things as well as some other small plates so this is going to be a full load in here for this countertop dishwasher and so I went ahead and put the detergent in the little place we're supposed to go if you use liquid or powder or the actual tablets so I'm just going to go ahead and put this in here and close it the light turns off I'm gonna do you're supposed to click it start it automatically goes to the normal load and then it'll be starting up shortly and I'll show you the results all right so the load just got done it was the normal load so it takes I believe a here over 2 hours so we'll open it up and see how it went so right off the bat I see a spoon that's I guess it wasn't too secured it fell to the bottom so there's that everything looks to be clean I had a small little plastic Tupperware that was in the back here and this plate was probably the worst of all that looks very clean now but good there everything else I think there's just a few things that I didn't have pointing actually all the way down or at that good angle so water did kind of get stuck in there a little bit let's check out the silverware looks pretty clean to me clean their Thousand Eyes clean their yeah so anyways this is uh this is a pretty good setup here if you're needing a small dishwasher this is what I'm going to be using and seems to be doing a fairly good job there's no residue from the detergent tablet or whatever that I used and it's all cleaned out things are almost dry thinking you let let it sit for a little longer it does kind of clear out the air for it but yeah this will wrap up the review I'll have the link in the description below and hopefully this can be a help to you in finding the right countertop smaller dishwasher for you and I hope you have a great day thanks
