FANATICS BOXES ARE LOADED...2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball Cards

well they arrived my Fanatics boxes and I'm going to rip them open and see if there any good as you can see over here on the right the Fanatics boxes there's a lot of green but the biggest green is the dollar per base parallel and if we compare it to series 1 Fanatics boxes it looks to be a little more green in this area see how it's like a lighter shaded green but One Thing Remains the Same the HFA is really good out of the Fanatics box so I would like to pull an HFA out of here but we're going to get a lot of Aqua we're going to get a lot of parallels but we got to experience it firsthand so let's get it done thanks for joining me been looking forward to this moment for a while now the Fanatics box what's the big deal about this well there's nine packs looks just like a blaster box but there's nine packs instead of seven another thing is every single pack has an aqua parallel and the aqua parallel tends to have about the same value as a yellow that you would get out of a hanger box or a holiday parallel that you would get out of a blaster box the only difference is every single pack has one of these Aquas and in those other formats well I guess a a hanger box since it is only one pack but it's quite a bit more expensive it's 19 cents per card in a hanger box it's actually 28 cents per card in a Fanatics box so it is more expensive in a Fanatics box but the packs are $3.33 in a Fanatics box and $13 for a hanger box so I guess it's pick your poison we're going to do a comparison here and see what kind of stuff what kind of goodies how many parallels we actually get I've got it right now at 12 parallels per Fanatics box home run challenge you're probably in everyone you're probably going to get a home run challenge starting out with one of these but the whole point is to hit a big bit rookie in an aqua that's that's the basics the basics of what I want is a good Aqua out of all this but it's not just that all the other parallels come out of here in a really good clip too uh one of the best dollar per royal blue for example it's actually the best dollar per royal blue every one of these Fanatics boxes should have a royal blue and a rainbow foil and you're going to get a gold like one in three boxes we'll see how many Golds we get but you're probably going to get a numbered parallel of some kind in every single box or close to we'll have to see here we go just like that kerkering I'm just going to set him there because this is more of a science experiment we get a absolute Banger I'll take the time I'll soft sleeve them and load them up fantasy favorites that's a base another aqua and this is probably going to be our rainbow foil yep like I said rainbow foil and a blue most likely if not a blue you may I mean I'm I'm just speculating let's just see what happens but I'm thinking like you may miss out on a rainbow foil or a blue occasionally but it would be replaced by something even better Haven Smith but see every single pack has something and that's why after opening a Fanatics box if you go to like a blaster box they can feel awfully chintzy and not like not a very good deal they can feel like not a very good deal here's a chrome chrome stars and there it is just like that we got a good rookie Aqua Mason win starting off this is one of the guys I wanted you may ask who are you looking for out of here well we got Mason wi Junior Camero Pete crew Armstrong H kirstead Jordan Lawler imaga Yamamoto and Lee are the guys I'm looking for already got one of them so there's quite a few quite a few collectible rookies in series 2 also looking for short prints don't know if short prints come out of here thinking they do but we don't have the Pack OD so can't know for sure Jason Dominguez and the last pack what do I expect out of here I'm expecting an alternate parallel whether it's a probably a royal blue there it is there's a Vlad and now we can count up this is almost exactly let's let's see if there's 12 we got 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 b b $2.50 per parallel the best by far it it feels really good so all the formats I've opened so far are hobby boxes jumbos careful careful hanger boxes fat packs display boxes Fanatics boxes I have yet to open a Mega Box hopefully those show up sometime soon I ordered those from Target I'm expecting them probably tomorrow let's keep going see if it continues the 12 do we do a separate pile I think so I want them this is this is all about science we got a flip aoo in the middle that weirds me out what does that mean there's our rainbow Chrome so we've gotten a chrome as well another thing to expect most likely Chrome stars of MLB home run challenge card let's see if it let's see if we get one in every box plenty of inserts here's the blue Vines B like that pack right there with the retail blue and the aqua that one pack right there felt like the equivalent of um almost almost the equivalent of a hanger box I know you get a couple of yellows not quite maybe half a half a hanger box or I don't know it's tough to say an exact equivalent nowadays cuz there's so many more parallels and weird formats that have different things in it home run challenge here it is oh we're not putting them in that pile remember keeping them separate okay this is the last pack I'm expecting a numbered card out of here and if not a numbered card then something special let's see here no okay no numbered card so this is probably a dry this is what a dry box would be where you only get 11 parallels eight what did I what did I miss one we were missing a pack were we so that's probably like the rare box where maybe not rare I I guess we'll see how rare but the rare box where you get 11 parallels instead of 12 all right we got a gold our first gold Logan Porter looking for a big gold we want a big numbered gold to 2024 pack feels really good with an insert and a gold and an aqua I like it here here's our home run challenge we got another alz and an aqua okay we've got another numbered card this is what I like to see so two two numbered cards out of this box that is pretty juicy I'm going to put them in the gold pile we'll just call that the numbered card pile and a snell I like that a lot the question is does that replace like my initial theory is that going to replace the retail blue and or uh the rainbow foil I think it will but we'll have to see otherwise it would say one in nine packs for each of those because that would like guarantee you get one no here's a rainbow yeah okay so well still blue it might replace a blue don't know we have three packs left like that Ellie Mania two packs left we are basically just looking for a blue from here on out I mean there could be something else special also don't know P Crow and here's our Chrome so every pack every box has had a chrome stars of MLB as well as a home run challenge rainbow foil last chance is there a blue in here no so it replaced the retail blue that's what I expected all right so we got our 9 10 11 12 12 on average all right we're halfway done I just wonder how many how many boxes are going to be like that is that the Rarity or is that going to happen again does that happen fairly common where you get two numbered cards I would think that would be somewhat of a rarity but I'm not sure got a little condense condensing action there now that I know what's going on Rainbow or blue right here there's the rainbow Dustin may here's our Chrome ooh and there we go Aqua Yamamoto looks to be centered looks to be sharp also I'm checking out the condition of these Aquas cuz that matters how are we looking on the aqua how are the corners how are the edges how's the centering the biggest issue is going to be the center Ing and looks good enough I think I mean we'll see like those two cards I would potentially send away the wind looks a little thin on the left but everything else checks out might be able to get away with it I'll have to get out my handy dandy centering tool and see if it's 60/40 it's 60/40 I'll send it in here's the blue [Music] blo little rough on the bottom Blues are always rough no matter what format the retail Blues are tough which is why if you find a PSA 10 blue of a guy who you collect retail blue can Pro it can probably be had for an affordable deal cuz it's just an unnumbered parallel um but that's a nice addition to to the rainbow cuz it'll be a fairly low pop and here's a gold we got another gold Joey Wendell Golds are popping numbered cards are popping parallels in general flowing out of here at a ridiculous rate and as I showed you in the beginning the odds for all of this stuff is even better than series 1 however some of the other formats made some Leaps and Bounds for example hobby boxes much much better I still stand by it that hobby boxes are the best format when you factor in everything that a hobby box has to offer I believe it's the best format Marte Riley Adams but number two I mean I love jumbos but dollar per card they're it's so bad and dollar per parallel it's the worst but they do have the guaranteed auto and that counts for something so this is one of those boxes oh man this is an extra juicy box look at that so we got our two numbered cards brushard that's numbered to 499 we got our two numbered cards and we still got the blue and the rainbow foil an absolutely loaded one we should have 14 9 10 11 12 wait 9 10 11 12 13 13 I'm sorry I meant 13 so you get 13 parallels it's even better than the $2.50 it's just but you'll have to if you don't believe me I don't know what to tell you you just seeing is believing and the math I broke that all down we got two boxes left we got two stand worthy Aqua which is great how about a numbered one how about a HomeField advantage that's what I'm pushing for numbered one of the bigger rookies big rookies I one of the best the ones I talked about there's Chrome Matt Olson HFA golden mirror short print that's what we're looking for what's going on here just flipped around be something big then that's not it but that pack those packs are so juicy I'm telling you double parallel packs here's another gold Golds are flowing man it says one out of 35 for a gold and we've already gotten three josea Bru okay I do I want to hold on I got to we got one numbered card that's really what's I still want to keep these separate a little bit another weird one okay how about another numbered guard then no but we will get another home run challenge okay back to normal COA always check these because they are sneaky sometimes the parallels are tough to tell no oh my gosh you guys got a heavy Lumber Jeff bag while heavy Lumber it's one of those hits one of those bonus hits that I mean that's not a parallel but that's definitely something to account for and we got a pack left too MH didn't get the rainbow foil out of that one but we did get that and that makes up for it and we did get a gold we got the blue what would you rather have a heavy Lumber or a rainbow foil parallel I think I know the answer to that we got one left let's consolidate our Stacks here's the blue we still have yet to get an insert parallel so seems like this isn't the greatest for insert parallels which is fine it seems to me that Hobby and jumbo are both really good for insert parallels they're flowing what's this box going to have it seems like every box has some kind of a bonus that I didn't really account for on my spreadsheet Lawrence [Music] Butler Mooky Sunny Gray okay here's a numbered card kiring again at least it's a rookie number to 399 the aqua Aqua crackle oops I totally forgot to put this one rainbow foil so it's a standard pack these are going to be the standard ones that you get with the rainbow foil blue I guess an extra one too like maybe not standard to get the extra but maybe okay so what was that we got the 9 10 11 12 yeah 12 is looking standard ladies and Gentlemen let's look at this is six Fanatics boxes okay so we're talking 180 bucks seems like a lot you can't get a jumbo for that price but you can get a couple of hobbies and just there's no comparison if you're parallel chasing there is no comparison to this format Fanatics boxes are by far the best the next closest would be a hangar box hanger boxes are they're they're they're close they're kind of close but after that there's there's nothing let's count up all the [Music] parallels first of all let's talk about the numbered stuff three Golds six boxes total three Golds and then four additional number cards so seven numbered cards we're averaging more than one numbered card per box on top of that we got one of these I think you can expect a a nice insert to fall fairly regularly especially because hfas come out of here at a real nice clip but there's a bunch of other ones Platinum performers heavy Lumber golden mirrors all the other variation Mother's Day Father's Day true photo team border they all come out of here at a nice clip so not only are you going to get like one plus numbered cards out of your Fanatics box we know how many Aqua there are there's 54 Aquas so think about that for a second two hobby boxes you can get for the price of six Fanatics boxes right there you're already blown out of the water from a parallel standpoint from the best format which is Hobby on top of that five rainbow foils five Blues we got two stand worthy cards a nice Mason win and Yamamoto we're getting a home run challenge card out of every box and we're also getting a chrome stars of MLB out of every box let
