Some context to this video for those that are unfamiliar with why someone would go through all this trouble for a parking spot...
This street in Brooklyn is a couple of blocks away from two major bridges (Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges) that cross to Manhattan. This part of Brooklyn has seen MAJOR changes in a ton of brand new buildings going up and streets becoming more bike friendly and thus less parking spots. Parking in NYC is insanely expensive so these are just people that live around here and go through so much to secure spots.
Not saying it's ok, just saying there is context to this video.
That may get you shot in LA.
Here's what I don't understand: Why did the guy waiting not ask the guy in spot whether or not he was going to leave? I assume that if he did, he would have found out a lot sooner that he wasn't getting that spot.
