expectancy today amen whenever we gather we should expect amazing things listen to this from isaiah 43 fear not for i have redeemed you i have called you by name you are mine when you pass through the waters i will be with you and through the rivers they shall not overflow you when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned nor shall the flame scorch you for i am the lord your god the holy one of israel your savior amen can you say amen that's the living word of god right there the word of god is living in powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword amen now listen we're going to put some spiritual muscle into our praise this morning all right let's start with the declaration say this after me bless the lord all my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name i am a true worshiper and my praise is a weapon that silences the enemy i shake off doubt and fear and put on the garment of praise and i receive say it again i receive all that i need from the lord today and i i just saw gerhardia saying master i can't see and then elijah said just hold on just hold on let me just unveil for you and then he opened up his eyes and he began to see multitudes upon multitudes of angels and we their church need to see this because i had a dream and this is reality i had a dream two days ago and and in this dream i was standing amongst the youth and one of these young young adults probably 13 14 years old he started to talk like a demon and in this dream there were a couple of them i'm not even sure seven or eight of them and they were mocking and they were mocking god and i walked past them and i had a shroud over my head and they just felt the presence of the almighty god and their eyes were opened and the one who spoke like a demon started to speak oracles of god and i said to the lord what is this father and he said i'm about to empower the church i'm about i'm about to empower the youth i'm i'm about to empower those that are bold those that won't use my name those that are moving workplaces those that'll go out and and have tea and coffee with people i'm about to empower them that when they begin to speak miracle signs and wonders he's waiting for you church he's waiting for you access here he's waiting for you to rise up now come saith the lord see and taste says the lord [Music] is [Music] [Applause] [Music] my god [Music] my god that is who you are [Music] [Music] great is [Music] passions [Music] [Music] will is [Music] is [Music] foreign [Music] is [Music] [Music] sing it together great great great faithfulness [Music] [Music] oh is [Music] father we just thank you lord [Music] when we can rest in that faithfulness knowing that you'll never leave us nor forsake us that you're with us even till the end of this age you are everywhere all present all-knowing there's nothing hidden from you you see all things you see every aspect every area of our lives you see the insecurities you see the fears you see the doubts but yet you're still faithful in our weaknesses we are made strength by you lord i just thank you right now for your peace [Music] when beyond these walls and the walls of those on livestream the world can seem chaotic turmoil [Music] but there's something [Music] when we know you are in the center of our lives there is a peace there is shalom because the very prince of peace himself is in us amongst us [Music] just allow the keys to wash over you for a moment [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] you see i really feel like the lord is saying that so many of us get so caught in being busy [Music] trying to do even sometimes just trying to pray when all you need to do is just sit and listen [Music] sometimes he's trying to talk to you more than you realize but he's just saying find a place [Music] where you can still your mind still your heart get rid of all the noise outside just listen [Music] because you're not going to hear him with turmoil in your head you're not going to hear him with noise in your ear you're gonna hear the still small voice saying from behind go left go right stop go can i see ushers to hand out communion for us just keep in this moment of just being still don't talk to anyone just just be still [Music] so [Music] see [Music] so [Music] [Music] i'm reminded of my wedding day that first dance it's like all the guests disappear and it's just the two of you that's this moment right now with you and jesus it's just the two of you [Music] all the crowd go away [Music] and this is the two of you but he says i want to dance every day with you i want that dance every day with you it's just the two of us [Music] father we thank you lord as we come to the table your body your blood so that we can have an intimate relationship with you a real genuine authentic relationship with the living god the savior [Music] lord i lift up this prayer request to you right now for chris matthews who fell off his motorcycle nine days ago his ribs hip and legs the very reason we can come to the table and remind ourself is to claim walk in and receive divine healing lord so not only for ourselves but we lift our brother up in christ lord and we thank you that by your stripes we were healed and made whole so right now we receive that for ourselves we receive that for our loved ones and we receive that for our church family right now go ahead and eat [Music] and lord we just thank you for your blood that was poured out that we can come into relationship with you lord and have a place in eternity but also knowing because of this blood your faithfulness just washes us every day and we just need to rest in it so we thank you for that in jesus name could i just ask your cups to be passed to the end [Music] who's blessed to be in church this morning i tell you what i kid you know i just there's such a presence of god here right now ain't no way he's here just because he loves every single one of you even you by livestream he loves you he doesn't show up to have a circus gathering he shows up because he wants to pour out his love and faithfulness to us every single time amen hallelujah thank you worship team come on aren't they awesome come on before i i'm just going to make an announcement before i forget but um the ladies are having their ladies breakfast on the 23rd of october 15 for the breakfast listen i know people that pay more to go to sporting events i won't so discord and talk about new zealand south africa but anyway i'm just using it as an example right now there are people that will pay to go to movies or dinners or do things like that okay fifteen dollars for incorruptible seed and to be a blessing because you're going to bless somebody else right as well that could change their life forever come on i want to challenge you ladies come on get out there get into word amen and i believe i know the person is coming she carries rich soil she carries word in her and she will be a blessing to you so i want to we're good with that awesome hallelujah i think the men were more enthusiastic this time god is shifting something come on guys show them how it's done i have the opportunity this morning of receiving our ties and offering and i i was woken up at about four o'clock this morning or just before four and i had the message just pop in my spirit which i felt the lord wanted me to remind you of and what he wanted me to do with you this morning but i'm gonna read from you we all know this in matthew 6 24 and verse 33. it says you cannot serve god and riches no one can serve two masters either he will hate the one and love the other or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other you cannot serve god and mammon everyone say amen you know what mammon's really talking about is talking about treasures and riches but the thing with it mammon has a spirit behind it because when you look at treasures and riches in the world just look at the the stock markets outside you always hear them talking about bulls and bears it's about greed and fear that's driven by his spirit amen the worldly system is driven by a spirit so it says you cannot serve both if i'm in a place of fear that's because i'm too scared to let go if i'm in a place of greed it means i'm storing up but this is the other thing if i'm always in debt i'm serving the debt and i cannot be a channel to the kingdom so when we get caught up with mammon and we we prematurely i've got nothing anybody that knows me i'm all for prosperity is in the bible but if i do it out of god's way and timing because i want the bigger house or i want the bigger cars or i want the two motorcycles instead of one and i'm not willing to wait on god but i want to do it in my own strength and i get into a place of debt what happens i cannot be a blessing to the kingdom because i'm serving the debt in other words i'm serving mammon i'm serving the world system i'm serving the banking system nothing wrong with having that stuff but who are you serving if god is trying to increase us all the time and we're taking that increase to increase our lifestyles is he really getting through then my question is can he really trust us with much or if i wait for him to unload supernatural wealth on me that i can walk in and buy any car one debt free even if it costs two hundred thousand dollars because i've sown four hundred thousand dollars into mission i've given a million dollars to build a church down the road come on who cares about that but it's about what am i serving amen amen hallelujah we cannot serve both amen he says seek first the kingdom of god his way of doing things and being right so when i seek first the kingdom how to manage my finances how to steward my finances how to operate in sea time and harvest guess what increase is coming i said increase is coming it's guaranteed if i'm led by the spirit when he says go there there's your harvest go there there's your harvest sow seed yeah because there's good soil there come on make a withdrawal from heaven it's about time for release for you when i'm hearing and inclining my ear it's not going to be long before your breakthrough is there amen but my question is who are you serving i don't know about you i want to serve god in his kingdom i have a vision board that would upset most religious folks but you know what unless he give it to me i ain't going to make it happen in his timing amen so this morning as you as you give by by live stream or text to give haver you want to do it by by um live stream or in the auditorium i know a lot of people love to present their ties and offerings i want to encourage you right now feel free to to come up and you're going to pray with me you're going to pray with me god told me they need to pray over the seed with you this morning so we're going to put a declaration up and a prayer that you're going to do so if you want to bring your ties and offerings or present them please feel free to come and do it now one thing i would encourage you always do it by faith never do it for man ever ever ever ever man we don't need your money amen you do it as unto the lord you do it to him by faith you release your seed by faith amen i tested the text to give the other day and it was actually pretty cool for a young pastor i'm way beyond technology the two tech guys here and the friend are laughing at me like if i can make a phone call or send a text i'm happy don't ask me to do all this other stuff with it hallelujah you're going to release declaration and pray with me i just heard a declaration rolling my spirit this morning and i was like lord between you and my child could i not sleep until my alarm went off but it was so worth it amen can i ask you to put that declaration up come i want you to declare this by faith church where is it one two three father we submit our ties offerings and see to you by faith we know that your word says and is true thank you that the windows of heaven are open upon my finances and my life thank you that the devourer is rebuked thank you for wisdom in being a good steward a manager of your funds you said give you give bread to eat and see to sow today i have seed in the ground and i thank you for my harvest and optimum healed thank you that you lead me to the place of my harvest as well as favor in all i do in jesus name amen amen god bless you church well come on why don't you put your hands together and invite pastor ian up to deliver awesome word this morning yeah come on baby my wife's cheering for me today go girl i've forgotten what you all look like in a group hey you're such a good bunch of people um we have to um do it do a little bit of um promo work before i get to to preach um brother jerry our apostle my boss says you know don and i have been the directors for jerusalem ministries for the last 23 years and brother jerry is live streaming in through zoom or whatever they do with a thing on sunday the 17th you can register but it will be a full-on uh service praise and worship and things that god's got planned for it but then he'll be leading the service and preaching the word he will be able to see you so we've got the technology now to do it both ways thank you to oh oh lance and chloe you're in church nice lance and chloe here have been with the winners 20 years the first time they've sat in the service that's because they work all the time it's nice man anyway yes yeah come on um and also the same time the answer to this is a new uh book remember the um theme for this year is abundant to bless it's a word give them to friends etc etc is that okay are we all happy was that all right pastor he did threaten me he said you know there's a time limit no there's no timeline would you do me a uh kind favor please and put that video on for me like the wind unseen but present moving and felt like the seasons changing at exactly the right time like the pull of gravity that keeps me firmly planted to the ground beneath my feet your faithfulness the same yesterday today and forever immovable unshakable your love is steadfast and you keep every one of your promises you will never leave and you never forsake the ones you love you finish everything you start and never have you spoken a word in vain as undeniable as the sun rising day in and day out without fail and just as certain as the setting of that same sun you are faithful our god is absolutely faithful and this morning i want to take the time to minister to you all on faithfulness and it's been quite a a journey if you like in the preparation of this message because i've been in ministry since 19 was 1983 we went straight into the children's ministry and so for 38 years you lift the word you breathe the word and we're still going but as i began to study this and and think about this it was so refreshing and challenging to me so on tuesday i think it was i was chatting with pastor sean and he was saying how's it going i would say to him challenging because the word challenges you every time you read it and sometimes when you've been around a long time what actually happens is that you get used to it and you think you're doing everything right until you're then going to confront yourself in the word so as i pray this morning i love you i appreciate everybody here but i i really believe it's a message in due season for us as a church as we are going forward amen father i thank you for the opportunity to share your word to bless you lord with the words of my lips sort of minister grace to the hearer and we give you praise glory and honor in jesus name everyone said amen a little story now reading this i say that because he is faithful so can you be there is absolutely no reason because he is so you can be no excuse about how god's made you or what he's made you to be and you can't be yes you can be and as from today you will be you will be faithful because you'll see my faith every time you think about this message but a little story alice in wonderland magical story about a young girl falls into a hole in a field and into another world unlike anything she ever experienced she's in in a new place with strange beings no idea where she is or where she needs to go in the most memorable scene she meets up with a smiling cat and asks would you tell me play it please which way or i ought to go from here that depends a good deal on where you want to go said the cat i don't much care said alice then it doesn't matter which way you go said the character so long as i get there alice that is an explanation oh you're sure to do that said the cat if only you walk long enough and from the expressions you may be wondering what on earth are you going with that there are a lot of people who seem to live out of alice's philosophy but that is not so with god and his church god and his church for his church and for his people a specific plan and a purpose for each one of you favorite scripture we unite jeremiah 29 11 for i know the thoughts and plans that i have for you says the lord thoughts and plans for welfare peace and not for evil to give you hope in your final outcome when we drop down to er to the next but one verse in verse 13 he says then you will seek me inquire for and require me as a vital necessity and find me when you search for me with all your heart two words search and with your heart it says with all your heart but search is a word that means to pursue to seek out to be diligent and be steadfast in getting hold of where you want to go you've got to be diligent so you've got to search for this thing and then the heart there is not just many you're going to think about it occasionally the word there in the hebrew is um and it actually means widely used for your feelings for your will your emotions for your your actual intellect and what god is saying to us this morning i want you to search for me with everything that you are everything that you have for then you will find the plan of god now we're not talking about pushing and striving but yes we are but in the grace of god who will come and give you the strength of god to fulfill it and what does that sound like to me it sounds like faithfulness it means like having a little bit of guts that we're going to go forward with this thing as a church as individuals while the world is trying to pull us one way we're actually going to go the way god wants to because faithfulness is a fruit of the spirit you may say that galatians 5 talks about it in galatians 5 22 and 23 and i want to lay this i have to give you a a basis from what you can grow from galatians 5 22 and 23 writes but the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace long suffering gentleness goodness faith of faithfulness meekness temperance paul in the couple of verses earlier describes the works of the flesh okay and then he goes on to describe the fruit of the spirit when you compare the two work is this hard work or hard labor if you go back to galatians 5 19 or 21 or you go to colossians 3 and there's five to eight or something that will tell you the works of the flesh if that's what's happening in your life you're on the wrong road it's going to be hard work it's going to be hard to go down that road of the flesh but the spirit of god bears fruit regardless whether it's a fruit whether it's an animal whether it's a person it's the kind of fruit that is sown determines the fruit that will be true the kind of seed so whatever seed you sow is going to determine your fruit the character of the seeds determines the fruit you do not like your life today in any area change the seed you are sowing to get the harvest okay that's really maybe a little bit difficult but i'm going yes lord there are certain areas in my life i want to so see it's the same thing you want to be you want to be loved you want to be friendly make friends amen it's not it's not rocket science but when we get to this god sowed his spirit and his word to you and the the seed he sowed was incorruptible seed in first peter 1 23. 123 i think it is yes it's not up there on your notes guys it's a reference to the incorruptable seed of the word of god sown in your heart so i want to give this to you god's seed inside you immediately begins to produce god no excuse it will produce god if it's in your heart the kind of seed always determines the outcome of the fruit therefore you should expect your life to yield the fruit of the spirit for that is the seed that is sown in your heart doesn't matter your age your color your creed or your money the seed of god is in there and it's going to begin to produce in your life you plum grapes grape seeds you're going to get grapes watermelons watermelons the same holds true in the spiritual realm if god has sown his word into your heart which he has you have every expect expect the right of divine fruit to be produced inside of you wonderful godly luscious fruit the people will come back again and again to eat from as christians in this day and age we should have the world coming to us to feed off the fruit we are bearing or the water that is did you enjoy that message then that's okay darling it's okay no no no no don't worry about it um it's okay no leave it there somewhere sean would you go and get a a cloth for louise it's fine my life don't worry it's okay that's the commercial break for the first minute is that okay shake it out it doesn't happen when the pastor preaches louise sean's come live that's fine so what am i saying whatever seed you sow louise it will come back press down shaken together running over we're going to come to your house and mock up your carpet oh dear i don't have to do the clean pasta you've got to pay for the cleaning now man so whatever fruit you seed you bear fruit i guarantee according to the word of god that your life will change as you change the seeds you're sowing and if you begin to believe for the fruit you know i i come across this one's not on your list either guys i was thinking about it a couple of days ago don't be as galatian six in the philip um in phillips translation it is really meant to me don't be under any illusion diane uses it every time in the ministry you cannot make a fool of god a man's harvest in life would depend entirely on what he sows if he sows for his own lower nature his harvest will be the decay and death of his own nature but if he sows for the spirit he will reap the harvest everlasting life by the spirit now that same sounds a bit hard but it's not meant to be it's meant to be an encouragement today that you can and that's what i want to do at the end of the service is draw a line on yesterday and the past and let's go forward into a new life of seed bearing seed sowing harvest growing amen because that's how our god is that's what grace is about you can't change the past and i don't want you to change the i suddenly got a revelation of where i want to go and um i i didn't realize that it was so on the inside of me but so what is the fruit in your life the fruit of faithfulness how is it what's it what's it like uh we've we've sung this wonderful um thing it's basically now he's washing the floor i know because he is he's fine mate thanks johnny um and so we've got a basis now we're sowing good seeds we're going to produce a harvest but when you're looking at faith and faithfulness they're a big big subject but there's a difference between the two and i want you to understand this from one of the dictionaries i found you know what faith is fanta really simple faith is a human response to god faith is a human response to god faithfulness on the other hand is a virtue of god and his children totally totally different one is an act of faith to believe the other is a habit to involve yourself in faithfulness is a habit and that's what i want to do you see because when you look at galatians and i i have most the time and then you grow a bit and you look at it you know galatians 5 of the fruit of spirit looks like it's a ladder of things that we should do to get better doesn't it we should be good at this we're good faithful what have you people but actually when you read it that's god's character god is kind god is gentle god is the author of love and joy and peace god is actually this so the simplicity of this makes it very very intimate god is saying to you this morning be like me don't have to have a theological degree you have to go yes lord i want to be like you he says be like me and i will work through you and faithfulness will produce favor and fruit in your life come on uh story we do not take a lot of my time you know that don't you it's quarter to 11. anyway i i went with the faithfulness diane had a remote in her car it went wrong so about two months ago we went to honda for them to fix it up and they said it would be 600 to replace the remote i went shh i went to my mate john and i said john look what it is and john said no man you can go down to the shop down the road and get one for 200 220. shop wisdom with many counselors okay so i got there so i thought no but then we when we spoke to the people they said hey we'll do it under warranty 252 and i thought we've always been with them so i said okay that'll be fine this monday two months later they phoned us said can you bring your car in we want to do your remote we've got it from japan take it in leave it two hours later they phone us back and they said ah we've we've all done would you bring the old remote anybody who knows me knows i don't keep anything broken okay he goes gone i blame my wife when we were there but it wasn't her i have a feeling i threw it away so i said to diane they didn't tell me that they didn't tell us okay think about favor and faithfulness we get it back i tell the lady i'm sorry we can't find it she said well maybe it's in the car she went and got the car diamond went to look for her and she said was not there she came around and said but i'll phone the the manager for you and so i gave diane got the key she went home i'm sitting there and she phoned the manager and said okay wait and she called up nice young lady said they're just going to wait for the manager so i'm sitting there and i heard the next phone call and she went oh really and in the middle of everything she says you're lucky i thought i am i thought i was blessed she said the manager said they will wave all charges because you have been faithful to the vehicle place 10 years we've been taking my car and diane's cars there and and he went because you've got stuck with us because you have kept now that's we're going to get to how we get to that but i thought lord there why that happened this week because there is an example you have favor but what diana i did when she went away to get the card i looked at diane and she looked to me i'm in for 600 or 250. i said lord jesus so we both looked at each other and we said father we would really like some favor on this thing and it happened now some people will say it just happens no it does not it it doesn't that's good companies bad companies but this company took us where we wanted to go which is for free no charge no charge whatsoever none not 252. first corinthians 4 2 he says this moreover is required in stewards that a man be found faithful moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful question we ask how does god choose who he wants to use does he just pick on talent or gift what does he what does he choose how does he choose paul makes a very uh straightforward statement he said moreover his required institute is that a man be found faithful so what is the reason if you like that god chooses some people and not others god loves everyone but he's not obligated to use everyone it's not obligated to do it and so when when i looked at that the word faithful there comes from the root word of for faith and it means faithful trustworthy reliable dependable true and unfailing faithful trustworthy reliable dependable true and unfailing how does god choose or know that a person is faithful quite obvious he watches you god watches you to see that you are faithful trustworthy reliable and dependable true and unfailing i thought god knew everything yes he does but he watches you he watches you if you were looking if you were god looking for someone to use wouldn't you do the same thing find someone who's faithful i know we're doing the ministry the word found in the greek you see is not just um i'm just have a quick look it means that carefully watching our result our sorry our actions and reactions after careful observance god comes along and watches you not because he's gonna get you but he's watching you and what does he watch for now this really kind of he's carefully watching to see number one how do you treat people how do you treat people when nobody's watching apart from them how do you treat people those who can't do anything for you how about the ones who can do things for you how about how do you treat them with your words the shop assistant the coffee guy the whatever how do he waits to see how you treat people two he watches you to see how you respond to pressure when the pressure comes on sickness ill health test trials from the enemy are you running to the word are you running to the world thirdly he's watching to see do you have the tenacity to stick do you have the tenacity to stick to what god is telling you to do because a simple thing happens all the time you're gonna go do this that way now we're doing this we're doing this and then somebody offers you something else which is a little more like going to the rugby or not praying or night pasta and and and you go over here instead of praying with your friend hey man oh did you go to the rugby well yes i saw he posted it and the last one i just want to show you is what did you do is he were you faithful with your last assignment were you faithful with standing on the door were you faithful playing the drums up here singing i've i've known oh louise here um oh louise no young lawyer's here sorry i've no but i've known her a long time yes yeah don't drop the water that's the thing man um i've known louise for since i came i've known louise since 1998 when we first used to sit under a ministry when we were at rhema bible church just around the corner here and she has always been the same hair changes she's always been blonde but her hair changes just to shape the style but that woman affected me back in 98 i in fact probably 19 yeah we came in 98 but i think mike mike started the church 98 99 or 2000 sometime around there but faithfully doing the same thing amen i i'm believing that do you think to ask yourself the question what has god found in me so i made this very personal what god found in me will we you and i be like abraham go to genesis 22 i think it is yeah genesis 22 verse 12. in the amplified oh you got him verse 12 and he said lay not thy hand upon the lad neither do thou anything unto him for now i know that thou fearest god the phrase i want you to catch hold of is now i know or didn't he know well he didn't know he tells us in scripture now i know an ellie b bible living mother says for i know that you're one who fears god in the living bible for i know that god is first in your life but the voice says this don't lay your hand on the boy or do anything to harm him i know now that you respect the one true god and will be loyal and follow his commands because you're willing to give up your son there is something that god sees and he says it's possible for you and i to do the same thing it is possible for you and i to walk the same way as as abraham did when that word says that the lord is searching for one that he may be found okay it means there's not that many of them who are found to be faithful otherwise he's searching he searches hard strong but i rather know for me because your pastors pray for you the prayer team pray for you i declare that now that i've learnt it lord we have a congregation full of people who are faithful to you not just faithful to the house but people who are faithful to the kingdom to the kingdom to the kingdom people who are faithful here to work in the church to work in the kingdom to do what they need to do when he found a person that he can he is that is that he can depend on he is ready to take them to the next level he's ready to take them to the next assignment i want to go to my next assignment and as a pastor when you find people who are faithful my goodness it is awesome awesome awesome faithfulness uh faithfulness on god's side of the equation means that he can be trusted to reliably complete what he started to bring about what he promised so he got two sides of this faithfulness that we've been singing about faithfulness on god's side of the equation means that he can be trusted to reliably compete what he started or bring about what he's promised faithfulness on man's side my side means a reliability in responding to god are we reliable in responding to what he's telling us to do amen because then what happened in a small way with the remote will happen in a big bible whatever you believe him for because isaiah 1 11 says i think it's 1 11. he says a 118 it says that if you're willing and obedient you'll eat the fruit of the land what are you going to do you're going to encourage and be encouraged this morning that when you are faithful fruit is coming i sincerely believe having thought back where we've come from is that don and i are naturally here now because of what we saw when we started working in the ministry in 1983. we spent eight years in the children's ministry two years diane taught for eight years i taught for two years and i became the children's pastor for the next six before we went to the adults we were never seen we hated when brother copeland came or benny king came because we never got to see any guest speaker we were always with the 500 700 000 children in the back and 250 odd teachers that was our job but that's what we were called to do and i remember on my knees one day and god showed me a vision and and it was me with the children the children were raised in their hands and i said back then we've been doing it a couple of years i said lord if this is where you want me to stay i will stay amen that's not big noting us what it's doing is saying i believe we're here today because of faithfulness then amen so how do you develop the virtue of faithfulness practice practice practice how do you become good at anything practice practice practice and people are faithful don't tap out you don't tap out you grit your teeth and you stand with it you're never going to win a rugby match if you quit you're never going to win a football match if you quit you're never going to learn the virtue of this faithfulness if you tap out every two minutes no matter how long it takes no matter how hard again why i'm encouraging you because we've been there we've been in this these places where you've got to stand and have you done everything you've got to stand there for amen and it's in those places i believe where you learn what paul says whether you're based or whether you're abound to be content abased or bound to be content and i said lord okay i'm willing i'm obedient i'm content we're in unity now now where are we going this is when it gets a little bit of a challenge go to luke 16 11 you stole my scripture if therefore you have not been faithful in unrighteous mammon who will commit your trust to the true riches god uses this scripture luke 16 11 to judge whether you are ready to be promoted or not oh please love me afterwards don't kick me after no please but i i said lord i want to understand with that because it comes from this faithfulness is the same root word with faith unrighteous mammon is worldly money uncommon or common worldly money and the lord is saying to us for those who have proved themselves faithful and reliable with money god will upgrade the level of spiritual power and authority that operates through them come on you you can't get away sometimes and it is difficult to pray i know i'm not just talking about tithing or different i'm talking about us um being good stewards of of god's money your money not wasting it always looking for a deal dying says i'm the same we're doing very well but i was blessed on saturday i went out my wife instead of just taking me to woolies which is a big thing she wanted something else somewhere so we passed um what was it oakley oakley and i need some t-shirts and i'm i don't know who you're like i'm a binge buyer if i go if i go into a shop i don't buy clothes all the time but when i go in it's like the woman thing comes on me it's like and that's sorry sorry ladies you don't love me but you know what happened i saw one i saw another i saw another and i saw her i did so i'm getting the chance i said what do you think about this one by this time she said don't like it don't like it don't like it i think i got to too many i said you know what i'm gonna do i think we get a discount and diane hates it when i do this i'm like a bizarre operator you know and i go in i said oh could hey buy it i said any discount for bulk [Laughter] and you know what he did gave me ten percent i said it's favor but what am i saying to you i i know that's funny but how you manage your money and what you do with it is far it it may be more important that you think are you great with your wife your children your husband wherever that's all i'm saying be aware of your finances don't waste if you don't have to turn the electricity off when you're not in the room and those of us who've had kids know what it's like don't leave the bathroom and the plunger on the toilet you know when we had kids they'd leave it running i said can't you hear this toilet's running it's only water connor connor our grandchild he doesn't worry about money he spoke to his nana about i don't need to worry you take plastic and you put plastic in the machine gives you money [Music] but what god is saying to us and i know i'm making light of it but he really does believe he said you will not be trusted with the power and the anointing of the spirit one of the things that you need is to be faithful with your finances amen and equal power that we want you know money is good okay but the unequal power of the holy spirit go to matthew 25 next one just where i'm on the last page now pastor so we'll we'll we'll be okay all right excuse me matthew 25 21 have we got that the lord said unto him well done thou good and faithful servant that has been faithful over what a few things i'll make you ruler over many things enter into the joy all right hold on a minute there is a correlating process to this thing when you look at the ampc i don't know whether i gave that one to you his master said to him well done you upright honorable admirable and faithful servant you have been faithful and trustworthy over a little i will put you in charge of much enter into the share the joy the delight and blessedness that your master enjoys in the passion translation he says you've proven yourself to be my loyal and trustworthy servant because you've been a faithful steward to managers for small some now i'll put you in charge of much much more and then in the voice it says you've proved yourselves not only clever but loyal you've executed a rather small task masterfully so now i'm going to put you in charge of something larger but before you go back to work come join me in the great feast and celebration come on what is god saying to us he said if you watch over your talent not just the money this is the talent and the gifting who you are there are many of you who are ready to give of their time to help others there are many of you who are good in computers they're good entirely with bikes loaning bikes giving stuff these are talents that you have that the value to the gift of encouragement is amazing you can't hold it to yourself and this scripture is not just talking about money if you've got business acumen if you're a prayer warrior wherever you are and what you are doing god wants to come along and you to use it and he will then give you more and more and more and more and more amen i believe it i believe as believers we have to say to god here i am use me as you wish whatever he puts in your hand or in my hand i will be faithful with it's not a matter of faith not matter of fact it's a matter of faithfulness are you going to do with what he gives you what he's asking you to do and plea with respect you could have been born again one year or 50 years if god asks you to do something he trusts you to do it all of us have done this me particularly i have done this i'm not ready yet i'm not prepared enough i need to learn more i need god to give me more faith and you'll laugh this morning when always before i pray i study but i'm always up at four okay and so the alarm went off at four o'clock and i love getting into the word and getting my heart ready so i get up get up clean my teeth jump go downstairs get my t and i look at the computer and it's ten past three [Laughter] i didn't curse new south wales but i looked at my phone and my phone was on new south wales time it was sydney so i've been studying this don't laugh since three o'clock this morning amen so i am ready i am ready for you lord amen faithfulness and down said well why didn't you go back to bed what are you going to do for an hour you can't you know what it's like i'm used to getting up early at four o'clock so my body clock everything is working but anyway so my encouragement could have the worship team to come up we're not quite finished because i want to do recap but worship team to come and then i want to give you a choice okay my encouragement firstly as they come up is how what are you going to do with this you're going to practice practice practice because people around you would have got a hold of this because i don't know about you i want to go to whatever that next level is diane and i are blessed but excuse me i want to go to bless blessed bigger blessed humongous blessed is that right huge you're blessed yes i want as much as he can give me i want to get to a place where my pockets are not big enough to contain it and all my friends my chur ah just come on man come on come on sean can have his motorbike yeah what amanda you can have it yeah was that a one two five yamasaka [Laughter] [Music] so pastor you've got your motorbike come on you should agree amen now we're going to take you back to our faithfulness amazing what god does and i asked lord do i pray for people this morning i love praying for people i love the flow of the anointing of god you see all these notes that go but i didn't want to do this i want to make a choice and that choice is i choose to walk in faithfulness [Music] and i choose to cut off the past and take that god sets before me a life of blessing and cursing he says choose life i believe it's very pivotal for us an abundant overflow no matter what you're believing for no matter what words have come out in your mouth not what you have said you can start the day with that choice and i know i just briefly went through them when i was finishing i said lord what do i want to do i want to walk according to the spirit not the flesh i want to produce fruit from the seed i want to become more like you jesus i want to be a man who is found faithful lord in everything that he does and i will be faithful trustworthy reliable dependable true and unfailing i want god to know that i will choose to be faithful i want god to see me as a faithful man i want god to know and see the way i treat people how i respond to situations my tenacity and if i complete my assignments i want to be those one that gets to heaven and says well done my good and faithful servant i want to be one who is a reliable vessel for god i'm talking about me your pastor i'm doing about me being reliable when you call me i will answer when god calls i will answer i want to practice practice practice i want to be financially a good steward with my money not just in my tithing and giving but in my sharing and believing and if i have two of something give the other one away not my new t-shirts though lord not yet anyway and then whatever i've got whatever talent i've got i'm free to give it away free to give that so that you may grow because then i may grow because there is a phrase that and when we do this time we pray for somebody god will have someone praying for us when we give something god will have something ready to give to us and a phrase i had in my heart the sign i wrote it saw him take care of god's house and he will take care of yours take god care of somebody else's need and god to take care of yours take care of that person's need that's all what money is for to be able to avoid calamity in somebody else's life i want to be able to do it i want to be your boaz i want us to be able as a church to be a church of such faithful people that it consumes us and people outside they say they're so nice they're so kind they're so lovely but they are faithful to his word and so we can do that amen and so i said well pastor sean i really want to believe firstly that if you're here you're watching my live stream with every head bowed if you would please i don't know we've got some visitors here if you're here today and you do not know jesus christ as lord and savior i would ask you to raise your hand and say you know what lord i can't even get into that i i don't even know what he's talking about really but there's such a joy in the fellow that if you need jesus in your life in the name of jesus and i thank you father for sending jesus for me i believe i receive jesus christ as my lord and my savior now my life has changed i've gone from death entered into life thank you jesus lead me guide me walk with me lord i'm now yours thank you jesus amen amen thank you lord welcome so choice i've asked louise and the team to go back to that song for a few moments we're going to stand and sing it because of his faithfulness we can be i'm not asking you to do it by yourself i'm not asking you to do it because i've asked you to do it i believe it's what the scripture says i believe it's what the word of god says and i want to go to the next level and i don't want to do the same today as i was doing yesterday so father as we sing this unto you your faithfulness i asked lord that you would enter our hearts with your word by your spirit and people all across this auditorium will make decisions to say yesterday is gone and i make a choice to bear the fruit of the spirit but especially i will be faithful unto you lord i make a choice today that going forward my life will never be the same i'm not happy with what i've done lord i'm not happy with the past but i [Music] who's blessed by the word this morning can i just encourage you with one thing the lord i couldn't get this out of my spirit and i have to be obedient but in second john verse 8 it says this look to yourselves that we do not lose the things we've worked for for that we receive a full reward if there's a full reward that means there's part rewards and our faithfulness isn't just about on this earth but it will affect our eternity forever and ever what you do when you get to the other side the reward you receive has a direct link to your faithfulness here so god bless you church and thank you pastor what an awesome word come on put your hands together honor him we love you all go have a coffee have a blessed week church and don't forget prayer meetings tuesday night your lives
