if you're ever given a work laptop from a previous employer that you're able to keep like in the case of this Lenovo laptop here you're likely going to need to do a full reset on it so you can use it as your personal device so in order to do this you're first going to need a Windows installation media which you can download from Microsoft's website from there you can then insert that into your laptop and then by looking up your system's boot key which in this case was F12 for this Lenovo you can then boot your system onto the boot menu which then allows you to select your USB media as your boot device from there you can then follow the steps to go ahead and reinstall Windows which basically walks you through the process and after doing so your system should be good to go and set up on your own personal user account
