THEY RADIOED THE PILOT AND SAID IS EVERYTHING OKAY. THE PILOT SAID YES, GOING AROUND. THEY CIRCLED AROUND, HAD NORMAL ALTITUDE, NORMAL SPEED, AND THEN LANDED ON A DIFFERENT RUNWAY AND EVERYBODY WAS SAFE. THE QUESTION IS WHY WAS THIS PLANE, IN THE WORDS OF NBC NEWS AVIATION EXPERT CAPTAIN JOHN COX, COMING IN VERY LOW AND VERY SLOW WHEN IT WAS EIGHT MILES OUT FROM THE RUNWAY, FAR TOO LOW AND FAR TOO SLOW WHEN YOU ARE SO FAR OUT.
