EXPOSING THE SCAM BEHIND THE PEARL TIKTOK LIVES! #pearlparty

hello everyone it's Isabella here and welcome back to the channels I have had an influx of new people come to my channel and I have been like okay where is where is this coming from I'm like is there a video popping off and there was one popping off that video that we were talking about is the Pearl MLM video that got me really excited I love talking about new predatory content creator scams literally mlms you name it I my entire channel is just anti-scam commentary essentially I don't see a massive amount of people talking about them but a lot of people don't know that behind a lot of these MLM Pearl lives there's an entire in my opinion scam attached to it so we're gonna be diving through the entire thing breaking down the entire process because someone might be possibly recruited into this someone might be possibly tempted to join or just simply have no idea what they are and want to learn more about it either way we're going to talk about it completely in depth so you know so this is a video that I actually got from a pearl group so this Pearl group was essentially a group that was made for people who are interested in becoming the Shuckers the Oyster Shuckers now it is actually an hour long however we don't have time for that it is a q a so therefore I can cut it down to what I think I need to respond to and what I don't need to respond to so let's get started um get everybody good and in and and learning sweetie and I'm tired um and just to basically get caught up so that's why we're on hold um but we are growing pretty rapidly so if it's something you want to do I definitely would jump in on it just because this the earlier you're in the better truth be told so I think that's the basics what she's talking about right now is she has mentioned how it's really good to get into a company really early so when I talk about mlms I'm gonna flash up a bunch of information here a lot of the stuff is generic for a lot of my regular viewers mlms are literally known to be prone to making a lot of people lose money this is the study that's showing how most people make no money or lose it so already with that statistic alone this is already to me a scam in my opinion further that I also like to show information that is highlighting characteristics of pyramid schemes so the FTC actually discussed pyramid schemes and characteristics of them so I'll pop up charts here and there to kind of show you what I believe is being represented in this video so for example when she says it's time to get it early you need to get in early to me from what she's telling me that is the sign of a pyramid scheme in my opinion because encouraging people to join into an MLM early that is actually an argument that I talk about very frequently where in order to really find good success most of the time you either one have to recruit or two you have to join in super duper early when the company is new so that way you know if you are newer in the company and some of the first to get in and win a bunch of other people are joining who else are they going to be placed underneath you most people at the top of the mlms are the ones that makes money where the rest of them are not making any money so that is what I'm thinking is being represented right now when she's saying get in early and to me also trying to encourage people to get in early into something like this is very unethical in my opinion because it's not encouraging actual critical thinking and also when it comes to these videos I never see any actual information proof or data backing up that this is a good business opportunity to join in do you help yes so I hope you guys with whatever you need um uh my team always has my phone number and um access to me via messenger and things like that so um I'm always available to help you guys um 100 so if you need help planning a launch party launch party basically is your um your grand opening so it needs to be big it needs to be flashy it needs to be exciting it needs to be fun um So and I've seen a lot of girls miss that when it comes to their launch party and they just go live like it's a normal live but wanting to think about with your launch party this is your first like appearance your first show for everyone so it need really exciting and really fun and have this goal like to shut your bucket or um I think that's a great first goal to have or a thousand dollars in party sales like uh uh make it big and make it exciting and make it fun it really is super simple um you just have to get going the hardest part of it hands down the hardest part of this business is not even learning um the back office like that's it's just learn as you go that part is the hardest part is consistency people are really excited in the beginning to start their business and to have their launch party and and that kind of thing um but the next party when sales slow down a little bit not everybody's quite as exciting when viewers are a little bit lower um and you see that a couple of times people get really discouraged and they quit really easily so if you can be the person that is consistent Time After Time After Time After Time you're showing up on your lives especially on tick tock is going to throw you out to the masses eventually and you're going to hit that honey hole where people come in people okay I'm passing that because I have a lot of things that I want to say about this very specific topic so she goes on to say that joining this or being a part of this is easy I personally think that's completely false what I usually come across when it comes to mlms and the effort that is required to go in is there's a lot of effort that's put in with hardly any return or a you're going into the negative so usually what happens and what a lot of people do or experience when it comes to being a part of an MLM is they have to one sell the products they have to be on social media a lot that could vary from different platforms Facebook Tick Tock Instagram you name it then of course lives I actually see this lady along with many others can range for several different hours being on live now that's also because they're higher up leaders and they have more people that are purchasing from them whereas majority of the time a lot of people that are probably in mlms in general aren't actually making good sales but still that's a lot of effort you have to put in then actually being on Zoom calls and trainings a lot of mlms have Team trainings meetings Etc which can take up a lot of time and then what also does happen when it comes to a lot of mlms now I haven't seen this specifically when it comes to this one but hey if you guys have any information about this let me know a lot of emblems have what we like to call cold messaging where some people will message you and randomly say pretty much you know the typical hey girl I saw your page I really think you'd be interested you should join my team that's what a lot of people do now adding all that up from trainings being live trying to post about everything on social media and so much more that that takes up hours and hours not to mention you have a learning curve or understanding your entire Compensation Plan how to recruit people how to actually sell the products how to run the games and so much more that's a lot of stuff that you have to learn so when she says easy it's not I wouldn't necessarily call it easy because you're putting in a lot of effort with so many different things you're probably not going to get any return to begin with and people start shopping for me so consistency is going to be the biggest thing um just continuing to go live when you don't feel like it or when you don't have pre-orders or when the last party wasn't really great you know stuff like that so um like I said earlier you get out a hundred percent what you put into it so you just have to be I would like to pause that there and say that is very much false because again and this is something else I like to bring up a lot of mlms if we look at the income disclosure statements which is pretty much a chart that says hey this is how much money most of our promoters in the MLM are making if you look at that type of documentation across multiple different emblems what we can see is a very specific pattern that replicates the data that I usually talk about which is most people that join mlms make no money or lose money and most promoters and mlms they do not make anything and a lot of them are in for months years and again I have actually been talking about these types of companies for years myself I think I started around when I was 19 years I was 19 years old when I started talking about this and I'm 22 now I've had my fair share of experiences of people talking about how they were in for a long time the review in higher ranks in the companies yet they genuinely made hardly anything or they were in the negatives and additionally one other thing I would like to say is when she says you get what you put in she actually contradicts her own story because she is actually someone who has MLM hopped from what I've seen where the MLM actually shut down so she had to leave or she just moved to a different MLM so if she is a top leader who is the top one percent of the company right and if she has allegedly MLM hopped what happened to what you put in is what you get out she probably put in a lot of effort but it probably wasn't a very good MLM that's why she left so that statement she is honestly contradicting herself so you just have to be dedicated from the beginning to um to do it and to make it happen 99 99 to join 99 to join another recap I want to make that kind of gives you an idea of what we're dealing with when it comes to this MLM you are shucking oysters to essentially sell pearls and then jewelry so I'm reading off my notes here and it does say starter kit can range from a hundred dollars and up for what I'm seeing there is an 8.95 charge for a website fee every single month you also have to sell 250 in products in order to stay active and be able to stay in the MLM company every month so that is what we have to deal with so far now let's get into it oh my gosh Karen I'm sorry I'm sorry this will be this will be here for later too so you can go back and watch it um but that's the thing Autumn like that's a great point A lot of people are just afraid of fail um and you just never know like that I mean what's the worst that's gonna happen like it may not work for you but then it might okay I have I know I have to stop this immediately but I swear there's so much that we have to talk about with these companies a lot of people are skeptical because a lot of people have been in different emblems a lot of us know the go-to generic mlms that we hear on a regular basis Mary Kay Avon Monet and so a lot of people are naturally skeptical because many people that even are my regular viewers are people who have been in one to even several more mlms because they've tried everything so naturally they're going to be more skeptical however skepticism is important because critical thinking is necessary and the that's the thing is I see a lot of top leaders like this one in my opinion who is trying to downplay that fear and be like well you just what what what's the worst thing that can happen honestly the worst thing that could happen that I've seen from people is they lose a lot of money and feel very hopeless and another mentality that a lot of Emma lemmers have is they are encouraged to believe that they were at fault for that Financial loss or they were the one that screwed up or didn't do enough and the problem is is when we have almost 90 of people losing money in MLM that's gotta be a system issue right like for example if 90 of people in a classroom fail you'd probably be looking at that Professor right because why are ninety percent of people failing a class the worst thing that can happen is a lot of people can lose money I don't like how she's like well I mean truly what's the worst thing that can happen a lot of people do not have time to mess around financially or just gamble away money and when you are being marketed off this opportunity can give you extra cash can help you out you can be living more comfortably especially in this economy people are going to invest that money however it's really sad because losing that money can be really detrimental for people even though they were told or given the impression that this would actually help them financially so yeah it's way bigger than just oh [ __ ] I lost a couple hundred dollars that could be a lot of money for many people might and you might really change your family's financial future you know like you just don't know and I've watched I've watched so many girls on my team who have hit the ground running and they've been frustrated and they've been annoyed with Tick Tock and with you know all the different things that they kept going and now I mean everything about their lives have changed they're paying off a huge red flag can characteristic from what I've seen of a pyramid scheme when they Market off the possibility of major Financial gains and how this can truly change your life that is literally false again the FTC clearly shows right here that you have to be literally understanding that most people are not going to make money so you getting in this is probably not going to work out for you yeah they are able to take family vacations like you just don't know you just don't know and it's such a good opportunity I mean we have just a few a little over a thousand Consultants so we don't have a ton of Consultants and there's so many people to reach on Tick Tock we are a worldwide company we ship everywhere you're not going to find that with most companies we ship everywhere um so for 99 I mean might as well go for it also can I just additionally add this is an individual who is going to benefit financially off of recruiting you into her team so in my opinion I feel like these types of statements are going to be pushed heavily because she knows how much she can make and she currently from what I actually did watch in some of this live because I had to of course skim through it is she's talking about how this is her main source of income so she is making a good living off of this from what I'm getting off even though most people who join probably won't get that at all new in-home party as long as you're making that 250 a month um doing lives though increases your profit potential by ton so I would at least find one day maybe that you can go live on Tick Tock or Facebook and try to go live because it would be worth it it would be really worth it okay shipping's not bad shipping's not bad at all so um what that looks like is I will process all of these orders from the party or Joe will not me we'll process the orders we'll get them together we'll put them in a gallon size Ziploc bag this one and then the party from what is today Thursday um the party for Monday so we'll put those together in a big Ziploc bag I'll take it to the post office and I'll spend nine to ten dollars to ship it Priority to our headquarters and they will do all the jewelry all the cleaning of the pearls and they will ship it all to the customers the only thing we are going to ship is to home office like once a week so so she's talking about how apparently the process with this MLM which is really weird is you are paying for the shipping for a certain amount of oysters to get to your house if it's 20 bucks that you have to spend on shipping that's like half a tank of gas for some people then you shuck the oysters and show everything off on the lives and whatever then apparently you have everything organized in specific bags according to customer and then you ship everything back to corporate and then they ship it to the customer I just feel like that's so extra and odd to me because like that has got to take so damn long to get to the customer from what I'm thinking like I know there's a better way of doing it but clearly in my opinion they don't have a proper system in place to make this easier and more efficient so that is also a big red flag to me of not to trust them and you get 31 oysters baggies for your orders a sizing card a shucker and a board um game cards to play with and a dice to play your games with um and I think that's it they're working on sprucing it up a little bit to give you some more information and some things like that to get started um but yeah that's it the smell is not strong at all and it really just kind of smells like alcohol like if you've ever dissected an animal in science class it's kind of what it smells like I vividly remember dissecting an animal in science class and I have that smell embedded in my head to this day and if I get it even a whiff a hint an inch or a sniff of that [ __ ] I get nauseous so I'm just saying if you're like oh it's like dissecting a frog or something inside that is not really promising to me I can't imagine having a basement or a room smelling like pickled clay in like the first thousand Consultants unheard of yes you need to have 250 in sales each month to remain an active consultant I was with Van tail fantail pearls before and then I took a little siesta enjoying bomb party for a little bit and it got really expensive to do that business and so my friends introduced me to his Pearl's home and here I am again mid-February of this year I have to pause this I'm literally dying okay so first of all when she talked about the first company vantel pearls or whatever I was another Pearl mln those really popular I think maybe a couple years ago I looked around to see like what happened to them so that MLM has shut down allegedly claiming that their pearls were crap the consumers were allegedly stating that the product sucked that there wasn't any quality that things kept breaking that it was just complete [ __ ] honestly which does not surprise me so I'm quite fascinated how she says that she was with mantle pearls and now this is MLM but apparently this MLM is different and that's a conversation I hear all the time when I talk about this is I hear way too many top leaders being like I know I was with like 10 other different mlms but like this one is different more than likely it's not babe yeah yes ma'am Jenna it's been a huge blessing to our family such a huge blessing I could literally quit my job and do this you should start this first and then quit your job please know please know please know back to what I was gonna say because I wanted to make sure she finished her statement so one thing that I noticed when it comes to some people that are in this MLM is they're actually part of multiple different ones I just feel like that's a huge red flag when I see a lot of promoters a part of other different mlms and I feel like that speaks volumes about the MLM industry as a whole because when all these different emblems are like hey this is the next business opportunity for you this can help you with X Y and Z I don't know why you'd be a part of all these different emblems but I think it shows the toxicity of the industry and then additionally I don't feel like I want to trust somebody who says that this one is it but yet they still have a long history of other emblems and then they're still in other little random ones on the side over Facebook um you need the Facebook option to um record your live and to pull time stamps from but that's really the only reason I keep going on Facebook and because I have a few um of my original Following over there still but Tick Tock is just such an advantage it's amazing how many people you can reach um and you reach new people every time you go live and so really when hear me when I say this I wish I could hold your face and say this get your thousand followers tickfuel.com t-i-k-f-u-e-l.com purchase for twenty dollars you can don't do this I don't care if you're in an emblem or not I'm gonna just reiterate this like I did in the last video don't buy followers you can get flagged for this they are completely fake like they literally are bot accounts they're fake just don't do that I know she's doing it in the purpose of oh so you're allowed to go live because Tick Tock has specific requirements in order to go live on their platform that is a waste of money I hate when people encourage that hold up additional point I would like to add if your product is that good and if you know how to Market things and if the mlm's training is so damn good and they'll teach you everything you should be able to organically Market everything off to where people flock to you right she said Tick Tock was great she said Tick Tock is a wonderful platform therefore start posting a bunch of tick tock start showing off some things until you get that great organic following if your product is that good and you can't properly Market it off to where a bunch of people come to you and want to engage and stay tuned and pay attention either your marketing sucks or the product does you can buy a thousand bot followers okay that'll get you what you need to go live on tick tock and then you're going to have to press through not having many many viewers your first few lives on the Tiki Talk okay trust me the first time I've had seven the second time I went live I had like 10 or 12 and then it like slowly progressed until one time I looked up and I had 200 people there so you got to stick with it and then it's going to be the biggest boost for your business in the world so it doesn't matter it doesn't matter if you have a following I have 75 000 people that follow me on Tick Tock and then I have girls who have 5 000 followers which is still a lot for some some of y'all that don't even have a thousand yet but sometimes I'll hop on their lives and they have more viewers than I have in the night before you know so it's just crazy what Tick Tock can do for your business okay so what she's talking about with P like lives are really really popular she's not wrong about that and a lot of you guys that have actually come to this video you guys have literally commented yeah oh my god I've been sucked into these lives oh my God they're addicting don't get me wrong I have two okay they're really interesting they kind of ick me out they're almost like the same they're very similar to me as those pimple popping videos where you're like oh God it kind of looks icky but I can't stop watching it's addicting okay however in all seriousness what I want to talk to you guys is a lot of people don't realize how when you're purchasing from some of these companies you're not actually supporting a small business or really helping people out with that so again I've talked about this previously they're not actual serious business owners now yes you can if you get big enough Korean LLC file your taxes like a business Etc but you aren't really doing anything or becoming a business owner like actual business owners are if you can get terminated by the person that is owning the company like that you're not owning your own business if you have to wait for the CEO to tell you what products are launching you're not really doing what a business owner does if you're you're not actually creating the products marketing off just building everything like that you're probably not a business owner so your 1099 contractor the problem is is we see the failure rates with mlms and so some people that want to support these individuals don't realize that by them continuously purchasing they're not supporting a small business or a friend they're essentially expanding how long it will take for someone to realize that this is a problem and enabling that pretty much because at the end of the day like I said most people do not make money in these types of things so when you have people purchasing you're like wait a minute [ __ ] this might be it this is what my Upland is telling me I've been told to wait this is my break this is exactly what I've been waiting for most of the time they're not really doing well and they get this little excitement and hold on to it even though it's probably not going to last and so when a lot of people purchase they're like oh I want to support my friend a lot of the times you're giving them an additional hope to the false belief that has been fed to them not on Tick Tock this is my Tick Tock camera random in the I'm mixed up in my head um so to buy no oysters yes to buy oysters you're just paying for the shipping to get them from the company to you um that's why it's so inexpensive so we don't actually own the oysters like when I get 600 here they're not all mine um and so I can't just shuck them all with ring bombs when I did that I would um I would purchase the inventory at like wholesale cost and then it was up to me to sell it and make my money back it's not the same thing so we sell the oysters to the customer and then if we want to purchase them for ourselves we can get them at a discounted price a 40 discounted price same with jewelry um so when you purchase let's say I want to buy 300 I'm going to go pay 89 I'm going to get them to me and then I'm going to turn around and sell them let's say I sold them I sold them one at a time in 1990 19.99 whatever it is um 300 oysters it's almost six thousand dollars in rabbits now real quickly I need to pause this because yes I understand how enticing this is what we're gonna what we're forgetting about with this is one this is an individual where from what I've seen she's a top leader meaning she has access to a higher percentage of commission that what the most people experience when it comes to joining the company so for example from what I have read into the company unless you recruit people you don't have the privilege of having a higher percentage of commissions so when you start the company you only make around 25 commissions and then if you recruit people growing the company in order to grow through the company you have to have a downline for what I've seen then it looks like you hit the 40 marker and so what I'm thinking is she might be doing the math according to 40 so well yes that sounds great remember that that might be a higher percentage that you probably might not hit and then additionally most people are probably not going to sell that much or do that well because a lot of mlms most people don't make money but not necessarily Revenue but let's call it six thousand minus the 89 it took to get it to me so I mean it's 5 900 in revenue and then you're gonna make 25 of that so that's almost fifteen hundred dollars okay my bad so she did run with the 25 and 1500 that's that's not bad at all but again think about how many she just mentioned that she had to order in order to make that much how long she has to shuck all this and how most people are probably not going to be able to sell that many because let's be real here well yes The Tick Tock lives are entertaining there's a lot of people that are watching and not necessarily purchasing and again I would also like to add this in my opinion is not an exclusive product to them funny enough I literally went on Amazon last night out of curiosity you can get the oysters and these colorful pearls off of Amazon for pretty cheap now I don't really recommend buying them because they look like [ __ ] they look like they're done horribly all I'm saying is if people find out that you can get this stuff easily off of Amazon or somewhere else where it doesn't have to do with an MLM that probably is not gonna last for this industry and again I see so many emblems on a consistent regular everyday basis most people don't make money so if this is an MLM it's probably going to replicate the data like we have seen time and time again why do I prefer this Pearl Company yes it's a great question because I was always gifted before I joined and I'll tell you the difference there's a few Pearl quality is unmatched when I was with my last company they were the jankiest pearls I had ever seen they were so crusty they were so dingy they were so nasty um I think it's really fascinating because she probably heavily promoted the last MLM of course and probably said they were the best in high quality and then all of a sudden she's like well now they sucked so part of me is like okay if you were part of the other MLM and worked it heavily and then said it sucked and then now you're part of this new MLM you say it's good should I really trust the quality of your product at all this article is talking about the Pearl parties in general but this one says Pearl Company Timeless Pearl asserts customers are being misled by Pearl party mlms about pearls being saltwater they aren't high quality they aren't and valuable they aren't so the other issues include salt water versus fresh water oysters are mostly found in salt water and they produce salt water pearls freshwater pearls are produced in mussels most pearls used in Oyster opening parties are freshwater pearls which are implanted into used oysters right before packing the pearls are real but unfortunately they are often misrepresented it as being the more valuable saltwater pearls then quality freshwater pearls used for the oyster opening parties are of regular quality and luster the pearls would have been bought wholesale for anything between 10 cents and 3.50 depending on the mollusk type and sold to party attendees at anything from 25 to 200 so colors now this is pretty important freshwater pearls come in a wide variety of pastel colors such as peach pink purple bronze champagne and as well as white pearls are often dyed green silver black or dark gold to meet market demand so salt water akoya oysters on the other hand can produce Exquisite Pro colors such as silver blue but these are very very expensive due to their high quality and scarcity so party hosts attach a value to the pearls based on a chart but colors like blue silver and black are praised higher so participants are often have the false perception that they are buying high value of Koya pearls for a bargain price when in fact they are getting dyed fresh water pearls addictive nature this is another problem that they mentioned that I'm so happy they discussed these parties can also be quite addictive so so say for example the oyster you bought delivers one black pearl which you would like to use for a pair of earrings you might be tempted to buy more oysters until you find a similar Pearl to complete the pair the sad truth is that you can get complete earring sets of much higher quality and and then I would also like to add to that purchasing from really great companies that are ethically sourced that are also have nothing to do with an MLM so there are far other companies out there that have nothing to do with them alone that don't have anything to do with a business opportunity so I know she's like oh my God this is so much better in my opinion from what I've been reading the pearls are really not as great as what they're making out to be or in my opinion I feel like they're falsely advertising them to you and you can get high quality stuff from another store or shop that is far better than this these pearls are amazing they're so beautiful and just look at this moment [Music] I mean it's just it's the luster on it is that's hella shiny because there's a [ __ ] ring light in front of it babe this is the same thing look at that shininess and that luster it's a [ __ ] can I can make anything look shiny and pretty I don't think it's all that the Pearl quality is great I feel like price point is really good um and our CEO is Queen like she is so smart so talented so business savvy and she's super Hands-On we talk to her every week um and she's always available if we need her so I really really appreciate that she um she takes advice from her Executives um she asks us questions what we think like we had a two and a half hour meeting with her the other day um you know and she would say okay this is what I want to do let's talk through how we're going to do it but taxes we have not discussed taxes so um they we are paid we are 10.99 so we don't they don't take out taxes or anything like that we're an independent contractor um so what we've made at our practice to just set aside 30 every paycheck um to pay our taxes and some people do it differently some people pay quarterly some people will pay you know whatever we pay yearly at tax time and um the good thing about being um an independent consultant being a personal small business owner is that you can write off a ton of stuff um so make sure keep all your receipts and you'll be good to go but she's talking about taxes so I believe if you make 600 or more then you get a 1099 from a company and of course you're gonna have to pay taxes which makes sense however there's a lot of false information about taxes and write-offs and one it's a big red flag if someone is just like oh well there's a bunch of things that you can just write off and I'm just saying don't trust someone who is literally going on trying to give tax advice to information speak to a professional about this not everything is a write-off for example and everything is qualified so keep that in mind and that's another red flag to me is if you're giving information like this and like oh this is a great opportunity for you this is a great benefit it depends so I think a good did a good goal Haley is to for you to bring in a thousand dollars for you to bring home a thousand dollars um a month I think that is a great first goal it's very um achievable and attainable for any level of consultant um but like I said you're gonna have to be consistent you're gonna have to put in the time um and work your business it does take work um it's easy and it's fun but it does take work um so okay again I want to pause this and say I don't like how she's marking this off as well yeah it's work but it's easy work I don't think it's easy when you're putting in a lot of work and effort and
