keeping me waiting [Music] [Applause] [Music] hello hello hello hello welcome back to our Channel we're at Laura B this where we are Laura Bay yeah so pretty welcome to Laura Bay Laura Bay Headland to be specific but uh after this morning's little effort out in the tiny chasing Dolphins trying to get some squid for tea uh it's still a beautiful day the wind is coming in from well off the land so hopefully it's going to drop sooner and sooner rather than later and we're going to have a beautiful afternoon but but we are getting out of town we're heading to streaky Bay uh not the first time we've been there but haven't really seen much there have we no we're just going to look from here to strey yep from saduna well Laura Bay where we are now to strey Bay uh we're going to check out what we see along the way because there's some bloody awesome little spots especially like this one it's a little hidden Bay in there which we'll check out on the way out but we're going to get on out of here keep on moving and uh head towards next spot or should we head into streaky Bay we'll see we'll see we'll surprise you yeah I think we'll I reckon we'll go into streaky Bay okay cuz fingers crossed this wind's going to drop off and the afternoon's going to be beautiful and then we can make our way back from streaky Bay and check out all those little Bays little spots along the way and see what we see fingers crossed with that wind drop Road off anyway let's get into it so far it's been a bloody awesome morning dolphins yeah can't complain one bit but let's get into it get out of Laura Bay and head to the next spot oh my god there a wasp for me sorry guys ah check that out so many hidden little Bays I mean that was a headland we just started at there how Cool's that what a cool little spot oh how cool is that so we were just on the other side of that little Hill Hill have a look at that bit of weed knocking about down this end but that is beautiful hidden Little Bay all to yourself and I do believe you can camp back up there I'm not too sure if you can get a caravan in but it might have been you know Park entry fee which is like 10 12 15 bucks something like that somewhere around there to have your own private Little Beach [Applause] and I have a feeling it's only going to get better and better the closer we get to paly beach that is beautiful So the plan is we're going to stick with that plan we're going to head into streaky uh wait for this wind to spin around change directions which it says it's going to do and drop right off fingers crossed touch wood and then um check out all little Bays on the way back mhm pby Beach y smokey smokey somewhere else whatever we whatever we see along the way but uh another little cool thing just as we head out of Laura Bay is what looks to be a shed dug into the ground but I reckon what do you reckon it's a water tank water tank I reckon it's an old school water tank how cool is this so all the rain's collected and runs down this I believe into that shed cuz there's another one just over here which is I don't know I think that's what it is it looks like there's a bit of water in there there's a pump or something but how cool is this I reckon if anyone's got any idea I reckon that's what happened the rain runs down drops off that edge and then runs down into the tank but yeah if anyone's got any idea let us know in the comments Aran that's pretty cool like a bunker water tank sort of thing anyway let's get out of here head on to streaky for some lunch [Music] [Music] see all right we couldn't have turned it any better that weather has just turned absolutely perfect but quick lunch yes s good I'm hungry Quick Lunch overlooking the water and then we'll keep on looking around bit to see here and then head back towards s saduna [Music] what do you reckon at the front or you want some shade bit sh probably a bit of shade yeah [Music] all righty how was lunch good good good they um it's a not the first time is it we've been there they definitely put on a good feed yeah drift top little [Music] spot oh you reckon you can go for a swim beit ice cold in there but it's like like I don't know it's just a beautiful day it's probably what you reckon five 20s 27 27 somewhere around there but jeez that is [Music] stunning say oh they've got all plaes All Along The [Music] Jetty jeez B fish everywhere can't hello he's got the problem we got yeah the 's real um back heavy it's like we're taking off for the moon with us [Music] what do you reckon it's getting there thanks Jake are you going in there no why it'll be freezing yeah I was putting a boat in this morning having my feet in the water let's go away just jump or was that him cring it that might have been him what yeah let's go away let's go to the next spot streaky Bay done again best W yeah ever best W ever [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] he [Music] he [Music] all right streaky Bay done we've been um we had the Drone up in the sky and saw a little creek that we've been told about that we should be checking out which is on the way to I believe it's a a holy that is so bad that's a far and a half that's the way we're going as well [Music] well we're going to head out towards that and um check out a little creek we've been told about and we did see on the dry it would have been the last clip there um hopefully it's not that far out and then is it a blow holes out there which I don't think they're going to be blowing too hard with today's Tides or swell but anyway we'll head out that way towards that bit of chaos I think close yeah they'll probably close it [Music] yeah so we have made it all the way out to whistling rocks and the holes I didn't know it was whistling rocks I thought it was just a blow hole but we did have to skip the The Little Creek as it was um bit of a walk and we're bloody running out of time what is it now 20 to 3 20 to 3 so we skipped that little one and we've just come race straight out here to whistling rocks and blow holes have a quick look here see what we can see I'm not expecting much like it's a beautiful day I don't think there's a lot of swell uh and then we're going to get out of here and head towards home so junor yeah try and catch pal Beach and Smokey Bay but already beautiful little spot toilet nice decked area turn to sand yeah boggy sand so Crocs off and let's get into it that's you you donor what that's you whistling that was it oh look at this can you whistle no try that isn't no whistle oh how's this check this out oh I thought I just heard a blow hole G yeah Croc's back on you hear it yeah I heard it I'll check it out holy they' put some work in here is they I heard that one jeez that's a lot of steps back up you're you looking forward to that yeah I haven't me jeez you're call left I'd imagine any other day this would just be [Laughter] raging that's a lot of steps so which one's this or is this just a lookout oh look at all the the wood so weathered with all the water splashing on [Music] it ah there you go blow hole somewhere down here is a little blow hole a big blow hole it goes that way to the up is that possible yeah that's cool those so I reckon I reckon soha's right there is that the blow hole goes out instead of up cuz every you can see the plants moving there how cool is that oh there a blow hole down there and if you can see see right out in the distance it's a nice Beach all along there I just reckon we jaged the bloody mint day I on to the next one yeah whistling Rock hopefully I think maybe check that out I reckon on days like normal days they just have water crashing all over this [Applause] oh that's right just to there we're dreading we're dreading walking all the way down but how's that holes or these are blow holes and the last one was a whistling Rock AR do much to no I don't think there's enough swell for them yeah I reckon they they might be the blow holes yeah and the other ones a whistling Rock but uh there's just no information here apart from that little board at the start nothing what do you reckon get out of here yeah you're getting burnt it's getting late y get on the road and head towards paly palui Beach all the way back up all these steps [Music] for [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] right 20 minutes out of streaky bay is palbi Beach the famous paly Beach the uh the much debed paly Beach it's sort of CED a lot of flack lately uh I know my parents this was a highlight of their trip wasn't it pal Beach they loved it absolutely stunning spot uh and it was 20 bucks maybe I think it was 20 bucks when they did it uh but you didn't have to book you just sort of pulled up and got aight on the beach Happy Days whereas now which I think a lot of people aren't really happy about is you have to book online and a lot of people book online so far in advance that uh they don't make it in time and they just leave the booking um so it's always permanently fully booked and not a lot of people can well actually see pby Beach or stay at py beach I know we've tried a couple of times haven't we to get here and it's just so far booked in advance um one day we'll get here but today we're just going to be checking it out and it already looks bloody magic sorry there we go bit of information it doesn't have a price on it but to book visit air peninsula.com camping and um makes it a bit of a nightmare booking online anywh who this is the packed pby Beach Ram packed B watch [Applause] so I reckon that's a lot of what's Happening that's what we're hearing they're all Sites now where they never used to be sight and a lot of people just don't turn up because they don't make their booking in time and they just book in hopes that they will something like isn't it so that yeah blocks that side out then so no one else can get in which is a pain and I reckon I think I'm right in saying mom and dad said that you could pretty much Camp the whole way along there was no designated SES yeah so now there's probably only what you reckon 15 20 sites yeah probably 20 20 odd anyway is what it is but paly Beach stunning spot and just another one of those spots we wish we could get to one day yeah so many little bays and spots along the air peninsula here that we're seeing just wish we had enough time to get to all of them anyway let's go let's get out of here go to what's the next one Smokey SMY Smokey I think that's the last one we're going to run out of time then anyhoo let's get on out of here [Music] oh morning someone's a bit knacked bit worn out we are pulling into Smokey way where I actually don't think we're going to hang around too long here either might save it for another episode just cuz someone's a bit knacked slept most of the way but we'll pull up to the jetty and have a quick look around Smokey Bay or just a jetty and then keep on moving I think cuz it is almost 5:00 and I wouldn't mind getting home having a beer yep but we've still got some absolutely stunning weather what do you reckon we'll go for a walk out the jetty yeah yep you're just saying yep all right definitely can't complain with the weather can we very nice day absolutely stunning day this is it Smokey Bay small fishing oyster Town Village whatever you like to call it but bit of information here and this is the main the main Beach open all right Smoky Bay swimming enclosure pontoon that's Australia day officially opened on 26th of January this year Australia days is it yeah yeah I can't believe where Cam is it's not it's not often um you get a day like this is it a whole day yeah a whole day usually that wind's ripping in from that Direction Come lunch time what do we got Smokey Bay is 20 minutes 20 minutes from s 20 minutes from SJ Juna and I believe believe the Caravan Park is just there I'm not too sure how much it is but not a lot going on here Smokey B one little shop and a little Pub I'm not sure maybe hopefully a little pup and a loow to oysters the wind's starting to come in isn't it back oh just like that we had down here Smokey Bay got to the end of The Jetty having a quick little perve on Town what do you reckon good good you're knacked aren't you right let's get out of here uh back to sauna 20 minutes and uh probably call it then big day big day big day driving up the coast making the most of this weather what are you spotted oh Stingray check that out oh look at him go oh someone stuffed up how cool is that just knocking about [Music] all let's get on out of here keep on moving are you intrigued yeah it's close isn't it sand is annoying I will say South Australia when the wind's not blowing some of these bays are absolutely stunning and all these little towns have Jetties which is something wi doesn't really have does it Bon's got a jetty a couple of places got Jetties but not every little town like South Australia has just like that we are home back at the van and that was a bloody big day wasn't it yeah I think I was up before the sun got up or came up uh out in the boat see the dolphins try and get some squid didn't get any dinner in the end after all that but uh we did see Laura Bay streaky Bay pby Beach and Smokey Bay and a little bit of smokey Bay but anyway that is US big day big day off beautiful day off uh hopefully we get another day off with weather just as good hopefully we can drag the van out and head off to somewhere yeah somewhere one of those little Bays would be pretty bloody good Chuck the teny on the roof and get out of here but thanks for
