seconds going today we're in Portland Oregon for the Transmission auto show we have got Sun we've got cars we've got breakfast Hot Dogs breakfast hot dogs I don't know let's check the hot dogs out as well as the cars oh [Music] [Applause] so we saw this goddess rolling in earlier coming in behind us I'd love to catch the owner wow hey [Music] is this yours okay you can't have all of them I know I just saw this one know you want them this one was rolling in behind us when we first came in and it is stunning great custom here wow we ran into this guy how are you doing I'm doing great and what is your name my name is Mark Hatton and you have a YouTube channel of your own two-stroke turbo two-stroke turbo that's what 100,000 subscribers maybe more yeah and of course you do mostly vintage Two Strokes on that channel but I've seen you do some Modern stuff as well a lot of some micro cars some two-stroke some not yeah so what have we got here today so we have right here a 1957 BMW Isetta sliding window yeah these are amazing yeah this one's all original original paint original seat had the original tires on it until about last year I took them off cuz they were hard as rocks goodness gracious yeah so how how many horsepower is this two-stroke put now it's not two-stroke it's a fourstroke oh it's a four stroke okay yeah 13 13 horsepower man that's that's that's 11 or 12 more horses than the original you know car so these were came out right after World War II right like early 50s 54 I think was the first one and like they were done about 60 about 60 yeah yeah this was uh Europe's idea of luxury I love it yeah the B uh the uh Volkswagen Beetle and the Renault doine killed these things once you they could get those they were're done they got like 50 horsepower there 30 I think they were like 30 something but yeah yeah let's take a look yeah you always get to enter in through the front yeah you enter through the front rear it's almost a mid engine or is it I guess it's technically a rear engine right yeah the engine is off to the side it's right underneath this cover looking for it's almost more of a glorified moped or V scooter it yeah it's basically what they called a combine roller which is a enclosed cabin cabin card yeah I love it but yeah it's it's really fun well thank you so much for showing us thanks yeah thanks for seeing cars for Miles Lola yeah and I just heard there's a hot dog breakfast in hot dog for breakfast I mean I don't know about hot dogs for breakfast but I do like hot dogs I like them thank as you all know for the past 13 years our channel is focused on pre-1965 custom culture this is definitely hitting that Mark Plymouth is just outstanding wow oh yeah I just need some scallops and we'd be all the way there is this yours yeah I like that yeah pretty they're all pretty colly uncommon yeah this is something I don't see every day which of course means I'm going to stop and take a look at it be Volvo used to seeing all American cars but I do love some European Classics as well I don't know wow look at that they're stacking them in too deep here on the street do love that this looks like the one I just saw in Vegas a week ago we doings now hey well you know you're in Portland when you see the deviants are rolling in but they're sick right [Music] turquoise one yeah the interior is more of like a seafoam I guess I like it it's [Music] clean we got the Rives lined up oh come on man it's got to be easy mean look at all this that's easy nice I can do that someone chopped it a little bit I got a saw that wasn't a saw all man that was a hammer and chisel yeah but our class isn't RAC oh my we've already had a few I've seen this ride once before I believe at the rad City Roundup and it is still outstanding all that Ling out of control [Music] Johnny aren't enough gassers left yeah pretty clean for a Gasser babe it's crazy last year we fought like hell to get a parking spot and we slid right in here today like these guys get like 3 in the morning you do [Music] only a couple cars there are so many streets of cars going each Direction people parking lost you can definitely get lost get lost the car but we're just going to keep pressing on and checking them all [Music] out fordomatic baby a whole lot of look over there on the [Applause] [Music] corner you don't see too many of these out anymore I had to walk that extra block down here just to check this one out trying to hide in the back for me wow it's clean that's pretty nice pretty nice it's clean on the inside and on the outside well dreams do come true I found the gentleman who owns this ride yeah want to step on over yeah sure well how are you today fine sir doing pretty good how about yourself and what is your name my name's Conor Childs and where you from I'm from Portland oreg right here in Portland y I love it and what have we got here this is a 1958 delay mhm not too many around I not too many no you see him every once in a while yeah so how long have you had it I've had it for about 2 years now it was my grandpa's and he passed away and my grandmother passed it down to me oh wow keeping it in the family was it in this condition when you got it yeah it was oh wow haven't done anything to it yet so did your granddad put the motor in it and all that yeah yeah he did I love it so what's it got under the hood it's got a 454 454 so it gets it done yeah it gets up and goes I like the smile fun it's hard not smile he's looking down Happ you brought it out here today in the sun yeah well I love it so you said you're going to fire it up for us today might as well right yeah let's take a look box and everything that's a nice ride man thank you very much [Applause] I fit a lot of shoes in there little could fit a lot of shoes in this one y my is it turquoise or seafoam green it's like seafoam it's pretty though I would take inside and outside baby I caught this gentleman at the cut for Cru I believe last year did an interview with him so if you want to see that in a whole walk through the car on the the um that still looking Sharp on the inside they got the little um metal pocket that drops in with the two screws in it we got a doggo checking out the cars how's it going buddy a Futura gaser that thing's got to fly it doesn't have any weight to it just sheer muscle that's crazy I love it it looks like he's ready to take it out on the track gety up gety up gety up baby I always got to stop when I see golden flames I love it this is great that is Classic custom culture right there Lola I like that color what's not the like I really like those Flames I'm I'm more of a scallop guy but those are I love that style of flame those are nice [Music] well how are you today fine sir wonderful wonderful you got a glorious sunny day here in Portland beautiful day and lots of things to look at and so what is your name Michael Gant and where are you from Portland Portland right here in town I love it so this is like a little neighborhood car show it sounds like where just anybody can bring a ride in yes the best kind of car show there is right it is it's free they feed you yeah I mean what else can ask for breakfast hot dogs I hear yeah so what have we got here uh 48 Chevy Sedan Delivery I love it it's been radically customized mhm even better you're speaking my language now so how long have you had it 30 over 30 years so it sounds like you did it all yourself well no no I do the mechanical part but I'm not a body man okay I like it I I respect that you're you're you're putting truth out there yeah so uh did it take all 30 years to do to it yeah because as most Customs you just keep going and going you know that's it's where it's going to be now at my age I'm not going any further well I love the stylized flames on it golden black is my wife's favorite colors you got everything going here so what you got out of the hood 350 a 350 so you made it reliable yep 350 350 musts Tang two front end but the custom work is pretty cool these doors are off of Aeros sedan mhm the stock door was only about this long yeah so the Aeros sedan door made a big difference the fenders used to come down here so the fadeaways are all added mhm the Hood's been pie cut the Hood's all been reshaped cuz the hood used to come out here and it always hit the corners so and you shaved it all frenched the headlights yeah all the good stuff 59 caty tail lights you know it's I love it well thank you so much for bringing this today man I appreciate it well thanks for having me it is a 62 Nova and I walked right by this ride cuz I was looking at what was behind it but you don't see too many 62s and you don't see too many wagons he's in the middle working on it yeah it had to be a safety safety thing [Music] yeah I love ramler though it's great looks like it's ready go on a picnic at any time well if Uncle tonyali ameran Deli Uncle Tony's Italian American Deli I want to eat there meat balls all the good stuff fast delivery all right we're going to do a we're going to do a real long shot Lola cuz we're running out of time time and there's so many nice cars here today so we're just going to let the camera run here for a little bit oh my gosh that is crazy [Music] nice oh man and they just keep going for Miles just like they said what is this it's just gas and break with wow this one's just hiding out in the back lazy excuse me worries we got one blue Challenger we got a second one right here id id AIT but it's backing also and once again I will apologize to you guys we've got 3 hours to shoot over a th000 cars here today meaning we've got about 20 seconds per car and our goal as always is to get you to come down and check out this event the Transmission auto show in Portland next year not just show you all the cars which is also what we're going to be doing but yeah come on down to the show check them out if you're in the area worth the drive International oh the moonlighters are in town okay I got to step up this way oh still working on a little bit back here but they're doing nice work so far what and the what 1951 Ford Coupe built in Portland in 1978 it says that's some OG customer work there babe wow look at this I know this is cute that is clean that be a good at all Maybe [Music] this must be the fourth gas Drive seen today this is making me very happy one of my favorite style of cars and not used to seeing this many and you can tell like straight up look at that hiding underneath it all the good stuff Pontiac power baby yeah there's one block that thing is just mean looking yeah all it's completely I I don't know if that's original or if that's just retro it looks to me like it's been customized the interior wow they've chopped it they've definitely done some really clean work on this one wow yeah it's been completely shaved even taken off the back it's so well done you almost don't realize at first how much custom work is done on that ride that is green let's come back up in here cuz I didn't get a good look at the dash before oh wow we you put just like uh and they just keep going down even more blocks we're going to try folks trying to capture the essence of this for you oh my God look at this [Music] Pontiac are you you doing today fine sir I'm doing great it's a wonderful day it is a gorgeous sunny day here yeah and what is your name Jack Godfrey where you from Milwaukee Milwaukee so a little bit out of town yeah I love it and did you drive this here today yes I like that even better yes so this looks like a Survivor what is this it's 1955 Pontiac okay and it's Catalina which was like the Super Sport at that time M and uh I found it in a garage uh with 8,000 Mi M on it bought it for $4,000 the way it set it sold brand new for uh 2800 and the guy that had it before me bought it from Armstrong Buick in Gladstone For $52 and what year did you buy it I bought it 95 95 okay so set from 69 the the fell that bought it um he passed away and his wife didn't drive and so it's set in the garage so 60 9 to 91 and just sat around so you bought it and what did you have to do to it it was basically brand new when I got it only had ,000 mil on it and I just tore it down and you know redid it had to renew it most of the door panels everything is original it looks original other than that the running gear has all been changed it's got a four link rear end and and then 468 it's built made it a little bit more drivable little more Punch Yeah I love it it's a fun car well sounds like you're keeping it on the road and you're driving it yeah I've put about 40,000 miles on it so since I bought it yeah you got to drive them they can't just sit around no well I'm having a great time here I know we're going to go get some breakfast hot dogs but some of the cars here just give me the willies oh my gosh we he had to fit a dad joke in there I did I had to fit the dad joke a Duke [Laughter] [Music] joke this is great oh my gosh we're going OG Oregon here I haven't seen a saw blade in in a minute probably like a decade I mean we're in Oregon we have saw blades [Music] I'm John where you from John uh Vancouver Vancouver so just across the river up in Washington yeah I love it so what have we got here uh it's a 64 Chevy uh service body truck uh was built that way originally and uh I uh kind of did the uh Bondville thing myself afterwards it was an original Bondville truck kind of a you know tribute to Bonville I guess so I love it though but and you don't see too many of these old service trucks in working order any longer right I travel around a lot so what was it in this condition primarily when you got it yeah it's pretty much body was this way uh I put a Jim meire front clip in it and then uh rebuilt the rear end it's got an LS1 with the 4l60 in it uh gets on the freeway and uh does about 70 and no problem at all yeah and you could run down the Home Depot and get some Lumber exactly I've done that before hey it's practical and it's a classic it's a win-win situation there do you haul your tools in it uh I mean I got stuff in there you know for long road trips taking it to Bonville before no I don't I don't I don't I don't want to disparage our Northwest too much but it might not be super safe in Portland to be running around that's that's probably true that's probably true all right well I love it thank you so much for bringing this today I I love the baville speedway uh look that you gave it great thank you great thank you thank you what is that thing are you trying to be funny again I'm not trying to be thinks he's funny Mike was really nice he helped me a lot you know I both most fun thing here is just a sheer variety of classic cars that you're seeing there's a few modern like Corvettes and things mixed in but the classics obviously that's what our channel is about and I'm loving it [Applause] that is great so you're telling me this is an original color y all original 1974 that's firef flake Golden Bronze baby I love it it's a heavy metal flake paint heavy heavy metal flake heavy metal flake yeah otherwise known as metallic orange I love it so how long have you had this um about 4 years maybe is yeah and so it came with that color yeah I bought it in original condition very little done to it yeah mostly mostly original highly original yeah that I don't see too many Nortons and I certainly haven't seen one that color before not many in Orange there's a lot around here we've got about 150 in the club in the club Oregon Norton enthusiasts I knew that there was one but I've never met somebody before that's great yeah cool we're all in the club yeah and then what is your name Mike Mike Tyler and where are you from Mike I'm from I live here but I'm originally from the UK okay that's all right but you're in Portland now I'm in Portland now all right well thank you so much for bringing us down man my pleasure nice to meet you this way just because I don't know what I'm looking at that it's obviously some sort of European Vehicle but got my attention enough I got check it out someone's got a little bit of sci-fi influence obviously but ah there we're answered we've been going for about an hour and a half Lola and the cars just keep going and going and going somewhere down here are these breakfast hot dogs I keep hearing about you SE people pass them keep going I don't know what you're thinking Lola but I think these are really boss would think that the slowpokes are in town from Vancouver I've seen these guys at the Portland Roadster Show before just put wow checking out the Mercury [Music] power they're stacked in here so tight though it's real hard to get a wide shot stacking the Mustangs in like cordwood but look look at this galaxy baby I think i' look cute in that car truck across the street is just incredible I don't want to miss [Music] it that is definitely custom very subtle I like it he's got the old outdoor life magazine laying on the dash look at that who did that [Music] canopy I in love with this truck guys so cute we got two spuds MacKenzie's in the house cute how's it going buddy can I pet them sure hi do you like to meet new peopleas always finding dogas at the car show they're so cute so it's so bright I can't see my screen I get those fins oh yeah sooy and there goes that way too oh I don't know what and the what wow and this interior folks this interior look at that wow it's so pretty I don't know if you catch it the sun just glimps off it it's gorgeous I know these guys are enjoying their breakfast hot dogs right now absolutely uh my name is Brian rley and where are you from I'm from L Center Washington okay so not too far away not too far away about uh 40 minutes north of here all right well this is a rare car I don't see too often so tell us what we got yeah it's a 1957 Plymouth seavoy you're almost there um it uh a lot of people know this car from the movie Christine um the 57s and 58s are very similar the only difference are the headlights a little bit but and there's a few other minor changes but other than that that's pretty much what the car is uh extremely rare I've always wanted one since I was a kid um back in the'80s um and I've been on a hunt for one around here locally but I haven't been able to find one um now that I finally have the means to afford One MH um I went on the hunt for one and I found this one in buuy Mississippi okay um I'm the third owner um the first owner she bought it brand new and I have the uh the original bill of sale from the dealership and she uh she drove it till 196 6 and then it was parked and uh she died in the late '90s and the family had the car restored and it went to auction and then the family I bought it from um they uh he owned it toita so what's it running under the hood these days so right now it's got a 301 poly V8 um and it's a factory manifold four barrel manifold but the carbs obviously not Factory um for the most part the car is pretty much stock and original except for the interior upholstery oh yeah that interior upholstery pops though and the Dual and the Dual El carburetor looks like you put waterproof upholstery in there it pretty much is yeah yeah yeah that is incredible um the car has 31,000 original miles on it this is a Driving Miss Daisy car if I've ever seen one pretty much is it's uh you know it's h got big tail fins and um just a very iconic body style and unlike Christine I got to come in here this one is killer in looks not in actual hunting people down I say this is Christine's sweeter uh older sister that's right so and her name's actually sweetie well thank you so much for bringing this down here today absolutely pleasure meeting you and you just custom made the whole thing yep one inch at a time I borrowed a guys 32 and hung strings from the garage it was hard wow this is amazing so what what are you running this is a Chevrolet motor these are fake there's a Chevrolet motor there's a carburetor in that Hollow bow and it all this off and there's a stock 350 I see I like it this is incredible though yeah all of it what kind of realize Oregon uh is number two after California I'm behind now I'm behind there you go so uh does it have the original drivetrain motor in it everything is almost all original on this everything original 352 two barrel 3speed catic yeah and I'm assuming you don't let wine into the car because this interior is all original as well you know the interior has been redone goodness it has someone did a really good job on that uh end of the '90s in the '90s okay cuz it looks spoton it's yeah it's pretty period correct but not the original it was used in the '90s is as the business hauler for uh Wagner's hanging garden out of Newberg Oregon where the car was always kept from the 60s all the way until it was repurchased from my sister and I in uh 2018 so and then it goes between Sandy and
