on this edition of the USA Today networks virtually there hit yourself to the Christmas tree star at 30 rock go behind the scenes in Auburn football and explore America's greatest national parks my name is Eric Jose I'm the head gardener at Rockefeller I've been involved with 28 Christmas trees we're gonna attach the star to the crane we're gonna lift it up there and then the crane holds it in place until we secure it we're going to put on 50,000 lights this year and by the time we're done and it'll be the most lights we ever put on a tree [Music] [Music] this tree is 94 feet tall 56 feet wide and it's over 33,000 pounds that's a big Christmas tree for anybody the star is great it's a svorski crystal star it weighs almost 700 pounds and that's what we're doing today we're gonna put the star on top of the tree you know which way is front once we plug it in and turn it on for you it's a great feel [Music] game day here at Auburn's real special you know we have fans start rolling in twos even c30 with RVs ready for the games bus ride over it was a lot going through my mind though I was anxious nervous happy excited sad all at the same time you know it's been a long journey since I since I got to this point I've been through a lot fifth year seniors Tiger Walk is second tonight I mean it just gets everybody fired up two hours before the game it's almost a quarter mile walk for our players and we get to the stadium and our fans show up early and it's just a great overall atmosphere that to coach in and play [Applause] everybody up here we go here we go as far as pregame speeches first of all pray with our team and then I just try to give me one or two things that really are key to what we want to do heavily finally come to you right now I pray especially on this team father I pray they'll go out and they'll execute have fun playing a great game of football I just pray for these seniors I pray you'll bless their last home game they'll have a ball tonight I pray most of all all of our actions are honor and glorify you during we pray come in all right what we say it's about us it's about playing Auburn football all right all three phases all right let's play get after it let's get off to a good start let's whip their butt is a big big adrenaline rush you know to go out on that field one that time with all my guys that came in with and some of the guys I was going to what they are now and the players they overcome now it's really big man and I'm gonna miss all the moments that I had here at all [Music] our crowds rocket you just allowed the ground shakes that really gets our players and cookies the SE C's the toughest conference in college football I think it's my longshot it's just the grind of every week having to play a top 20 type team it's real special very special to coach in that's real special for players to play against the best game day and atmosphere that feeling you get a fiction to play a huge game there's no other feeling like it and we always talked when our players our coaches just enjoy the moment these are special time Teddy Roosevelt said we're setting aside this land not for a day but forever this is for our children's children and if that's the case then we have an obligation a kind of stewardship that requires as we feel with our own families that we set them up with something that helps them in the future and that's the great obligation of the National Park [Music] and you'd have to say what if there were no national parks well you yellow yellow cemani and Zion would be gated communities that only the rich all the property along the Grand Canyon's Rim would be owned by the wealthy and there would be little opportunity for a view the ever grades would have long ago been drained and would be endless series of the megalopolis around Miami of developments and strip malls and golf courses there enough developments and strip malls and golf courses but there's only one Everglades once you lose a place its lost forever once you save a place it is like freedom like Liberty of constant vigilance to maintain it and that's the story of the national parks how they came into being and it's the story also of what our responsibility is download the USA Today app to experience every episode of virtually there you can also subscribe on YouTube see you next time you you
