Excalibur Buffet Las Vegas - Everything's Fine!

it's all you convey this everybody its Derek and I'm here at the buffet at the Excalibur in Las Vegas now I was here about three years ago you can see that video right up there and I'm sure some things have changed here at the buffet but I mean maybe not so let's take a walk around and suit there is to eat one thing about the buffet here at the Excalibur is they have self-serve drinks that's pretty much become the standard here on the Las Vegas Strip those are the beverages down that way you can buy alcoholic drinks here at this bar but I'm here for the food so let's take a look this is a Latin station with salsas and tamales and taquitos and rice and beans and hay this has seafood paella and this is rockfish and pork the Zola I'll hear some sushi a variety of sushi some kimchi I think we're at the Asian section now this looks like stir-fry vegetables and stir-fry noodles and some spring rolls and this looks like some chicken it says ginger chicken is carvery this carvery here looks like it's got sausage and turkey I do love Turkey I like sausage - and here's your accoutrements for your put your carved meats like your cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce here's some more meat these are barbecue ribs with these smell bit - these smell like barbecue and this says trout with tomato relish and there's roasted chicken there's also roasted sweet potatoes - mac and cheese and I think I see chicken tenders yep that's chicken tenders and this is fried shrimp [Music] so this is some kind of fruit fresh-cut fruit and fresh canned fruit and some jello I hear some mussels with garlic saffron and lemon it says on the side okay here's better chaney Alfredo and here's pizza cheese pizza the pepperoni pizza they got two kinds of pizza [Music] as cheese ravioli looks pretty good but what I love more than anything when it comes to Italian food even more than pizza is spaghetti and meatballs and they've got them right here look at those meatballs and look at this spaghetti well we're almost at the end here the salad bar they saved the best for last all right I couldn't even say that with it without laughing but you know I just I don't tend to eat salads on these buffets you know that's probably gonna hurt me in the long run but I just want to enjoy it enjoy the buffet in the here and now oh there's some cocktail shrimp here also hiding down here at the end with some mussels and crawfish and there's just a little bit more down here looks like some pasta salads and a pasta salad look at this artichoke sound I do like artichokes Asian noodle salad and I guess this is butter salad and their soups there is it says roasted poblano one soup and chicken noodle soup and here's some crackers and bread well that's the buffet here at the Excalibur so I'm gonna make myself a plate all right here's my first place I basically got something from every every cuisine in the world I got the Chinese ginger chicken I got taquitos I got the spaghetti and meatballs some fried shrimp ribs and turkey I don't know where to begin I mean everything looks appetizing I'm also really hungry but I have to begin with my spaghetti and meatballs the strands are a little dried out [Music] I make spaghetti meatballs maybe I'm have to wait from it got some fresh noodles because a little dry but that meatballs are great [Music] an egg whoa about taquitos which I call the Mexican egg roll [Music] they didn't have as much crunch I'd hoped as as much as this a grounded [Music] there's more to eat let's try the ginger chicken [Music] that's good right little sleep speaking of sweet how about these sweet and ribs this has got to be the best thing in this place except us petit amoebas let me pose [Music] good rid attender it's funny you know so far everything is fine you know the Excel Berber phase honey as this reputation of being one of the best buffets in Vegas but it's fine it's fine if I had to read it from great - good define the terrible it's fine it's funny tell me what you think of the Excalibur effect it's not cheap though let me check my receipt [Music] it's $25.99 for a Tuesday night so $25 I'm staying at Luxor so all I had to do was walked over here I mean I could have gotten to what sort of all day but it's been longer since I've been to this pub and I really wanted to get the updated so far the update is it's about the same that's when I was here like three years ago [Music] except I think three years ago I had a waitress serving that bought me drinks that I made all right I still have my Turkey and gravy a cranberries it was also my favorite foods [Music] now I think that's the best thing on this place I kind of got some of the meeting when I cocked it oh yeah only I like that kill so let's see if I like to say super Frenchie really good pension now so the crunchiest thing I got lost my napkin I do have one backup napkin servers anymore I don't have to get my I forgot to get drinks I gotta get myself a drink all right be right back go get a drink all right let's see what they got here drink wise a bubbly sparkling water oh I do like sparkling water the station is closed how to use the other station well I sure hope that they they have sparkling water over there yeah I see it I do yes I see it right here hopefully sparkling water okay now how I can get get some what is this okay lime raspberry orange we also have fruit juices so iced tea and of course your usual assortment of soft drinks like you'd get at a fast-food restaurant and this looks like some kind of coffee maker fancy coffee maker and some Oh caramel macchiato french vanilla Oh international to like creamers I see this is just creamers I guess you could eat just drink those straight maybe I'll do that and here's here's coffee so this is just regular coffee coffee and decaf coffee and milk whole chocolate and skin all right well I got sparkling water alright so they have put out fresh spaghetti so I got more spaghetti and meatballs and I also got a chicken tender and butter let me wonder what the butter is for for my spaghetti one of the things I do at home when I make spaghetti is I topped it with butter here spaghetti and meatballs tapas butters kind of cold I could get it smooth into the spaghetti sauce just to enrich in that sauce listen real butter I think this is real butter says ingredients pasteurized creams that's real good look at this I'm melting in there is absolutely the best way to have spaghetti with butter I got no butter [Music] so then you're out of a PHA you've got all of the scooter your disposal you don't have to eat it away they they think it should be eaten like this butter was in the salad bar to the Nexus of bread so it's for the bread and not the discards but for the bread that you have which side you should have bread with with this too but I just want the butter with the spaghetti I may have to raise my grade on this buffet let's try the chicken dinner and then almost for sure [Music] it's fine it's good tutoring [Music] now the one thing I remember liking the most at the Excalibur but bad last time I was here is the deserts behind me all right this is the desert station what look at this s'mores chocolate cake and bread pudding these both must be quite popular because they're they've been pretty worked over and here's some vanilla custard and chocolate custard that sound good to me two sauces here my strawberry chocolate ice cream cone and toppings and here's some pie [Music] coconut cream pie and there's cake well chocolate cake tiramisu cake and chocolate ganache cake and now here's more pie cherry pie and apple pie those are all great pies so what's this oh no it's the crepe station but it's closed maybe they only have that weekend dinner that's too bad because those creeps look delicious where there's still cookies there's white chocolate cranberry toffee cookies maple pecan thought it could old rice krispie treats it was like fun too because they're pink brownie bites coconut macaroons and regular Rice Krispies okay I got to get that I love those s'mores cookies salted caramel valley pastry eclairs and if that's not enough we've got sugar-free pies and cakes so you're not having sugar still have pie and cake all right I got my desserts I've got some vanilla custard Oreo chocolate cake and a rice krispies treats I almost wanted to get the tiramisu cake I mean I still could but this one was calling out to me so let's try it that is good this feels so thick that's good vanilla [Music] low price 50 treats that has the perfect shoes these are all good so the desert tonight caliber very good the rest of the buffet fine so if you are a dessert lover maybe you got the the buffet account well then come to the excalibur
