Everything We Know About The NEW BLUEY MINI SERIES (new characters and Bandit getting a Tattoo?)

good day cheeky dogs my name is Mony and I'm an Australian currently living in America hey cheeky dogs hi everyone thank you so much for joining today we are going to be talking all about the new Bluey miniseries and absolutely everything we know about it so fast like the release date for Australia as well as for Disney Jr and Disney plus what is going to be in the episodes what they're about how long they are literally all of those details but first just going to the live chat here so hi to every who's joined in I did ask before on the chat where everyone is watching from today so I was really excited to see we've got people from the US UK Australia as well so good day to everyone I'll try and highlight some comments as well while we're doing this because it is of course a live stream talk today because we're talking mostly Bluey news uh good day everyone hey uh we've got a couple more people from Australia that's awesome so basically yeah I'm going to go through all the information I'm going to show you guys a couple of clips from what some of the people at Ludo Studios have said about it um Ecuador that's so cool and Lily oh I just saw you happy birthday Lily I think it's oh hi Lily yes there we go happy birthday um but yeah let's just go through all of it someone else watching from Oregon hey love Oregon that's where I'm at okay so let's start off then with all the information that we have about this Bluey miniseries because most of it came out yesterday and we've had like a few comments from the blue accounts as well giving us a few little extra details too so we had this first picture then of the blue mini sodes this was from ABC Australia above it in the pineapple you can see it says fun-sized which I think is really really cute um and definitely obviously a hint to the fact that these are much shorter shorter episodes then we had this one from ABC Australia so this is when we first found out it was coming out in 2024 so that's how we knew that like it's going to be coming out soon basically the official blue account in the UK they were the ones that told us it was coming out on ABC and Disney Plus as well so haa there we go you can see at the top there and then they had this here at the bottom saying that it was going to be worldwide for everybody which is fantastic obviously um it's going to be yeah on Disney plus and Disney Jr I can see some of you guys in the chat here saying how excited you all are for it I am so excited I think it's going to be fantastic um we then already had some information about specifically how long these were going to be and how many we were going to get as well well so I'll put up the clip for that here and there's lots of other exciting stuff we've got a miniseries um blue miniseries that will be coming I think has been announced but um here you go like a like a documentary no like so that was K Connor who is the head of BBC Brands and Licensing for BBC but also obviously for for Ludo Studio specifically Bluey so she was one that let us know that they were going to be 3 and 1 half minutes long so not the full seven minutes basically like a half episode and I did see some people commenting on like the official Bluey like pages and posts being like Oh it's going to be short like 60 seconds but no they're going to be three and a half minutes long and then we did also get this from Disney Jr which let us know that it's going to be coming on Disney Jr and Disney Plus in July however it's not worldwide release date like how it was for like ghost basket the sign and surprise where it was like basically day and date there were like six hours apart that's not the case they're going to be a month apart so they're actually coming out in Australia a month beforehand so ABC Australia sent out this email about like their upcoming stuff and it told us about the mini sods and if you look at the bottom here it says mark your calendars for Sunday 16th of June and get ready to giggle so it looks like yeah it's going to be coming out on ABC Australia at least a month before it's coming out on Disney plus and Disney junr so I love it someone here is just like I love Australia where is it ah yeah so yeah so it's coming out in Australia a month beforehand they didn't say how often they're coming out but I guess we can assume it's going to be weekly because that seems to be what they've been doing most recently with all their episodes and it makes the most sense it sort of that's 20 weeks then basically of content so it kind of pushes us towards the end of the year which is really good um I just saw some people been like no I know there's got no way to avoid spoilers because they're going to be short episodes they're going to be up everywhere can use a VPN that's what I'll be using but yeah basically it looks like we're going to be the rest of the world will be a month behind on these shorts unfortunately um someone just said July not June oh where did you go yeah so just to reiterate June for Australia June 16th and then July for Disney junr and Disney plus worldwide so they'll be a month apart and I don't know why cuz they obviously could do it like day and date because they already figured it out but yeah it's going to be a month apart between the two um so then we did have a bit more information so this is exactly what they're going to be about so I'll throw it up in the middle of the screen here so we have more laughs more dancing more fun more Bluey um so BBC have announced that there are 20 brand new blue mini sod so that's how we know there's going to be 20 of them um again broadcasting for ABC Australia as well as on Disney plus around the world but it's going to be a month apart for each of them uh the collection of them will be sweet moments with the Healer family as well as new characters alongside fan favorites including unicos Nana and Bob heiler dad getting a tattoo and even a special look inside blue and Bingo's Dreamhouse from Escape so I want to know in the comments what new characters do you guys think that they are going to be showing in these episodes I honestly someone just said like what band is getting a tattoo I do think the tattoo one is probably going to be like about you know like the removable tattoos with the water I think it's going to be something to do with that cuz that's something that kids absolutely love like I know my kids absolutely adore that and it's not really something they've shown before so I think that'll be really good um someone else just put in here where is it Darcy Waters official Granddad Bob I'm really hoping that we're gonna see him in India or like some like random flashback of him telling the girls about like an adventure he went on in India I think that would be so so cool and it's like really want to see um party pie here says bry's baby I think yeah this could be a really cute way of like her just like doing something with the baby or introducing the girls to the baby and then being like big sisters to it basically I think that would be really really cute um and it seems like a lot of people want bry's baby got a lot in the chat here blue kid a flash I don't know if they'll show it to be honest I think most of the time when they've done those Flash Forward scenes like that's it they never really do anything else with them so I think it's probably going to be that's all we got was at the end of surprise but yeah a lot of people bry's kid oh blue edits the blind doggy um douge yeah douge I think would be really really good I think that would be so cute okay getting back down to the bottom of the the chat here um so yeah so I guess yeah wow Brandy's baby seems to be like the biggest one that we're getting more French a lot of people I saw on my Instagram and Tik Tok a lot of people were saying they really wanted more of John Luke again I don't know if they'll do it but I think they'll do cookie because they did that Tik Tok already about like where is Cookie so I think cookie is going to be one of the new characters um judo's Dad yes judo's Dad could be a new character because we don't know what exactly is the go between Judo and her mom and obviously we never see the dad and judo's not always there as we found out in sticky gecko so I think that could be something um someone just said how long they're three and a half minutes so basically half an episode so if you think about it we're getting 20 of these three and a half minute long each so it's basically like 10 full episodes so it's not exactly a season four it's just a mini episode highlighting different characters because yeah we're not getting season 4 anytime soon there there's no one working for blue at Ludo Studios except for like maybe five people basically out of like a 50 person production Team all the animators and VX artists and background and everything like that like all of the people who work on it don't work there anymore like you takes two seconds to check their Twitter accounts and their Instagrams to see all of them have put like previously worked at lud previously worked at BL they're either working new projects at the moment or they're looking for work at the moment as well so yeah that's why we won't have any of that oh I just saw someone here do is that why we had the extended intro I think it might be I think that might have been a little hint towards it which means like obviously we'll get some pom pom maybe winon Snickers I really want to see Winton with the Terriers as like maybe like a step brother mini episode so I do think that yeah that could have been why we had that extended intro I think that might have been a little bit of a hint towards it oh someone just said three- leg Pops that would have been a really cool one too um someone just said so yeah the extended intro was gosh what episode was that guys for Cricket I think it was maybe yeah it was one of those season 3C episodes they put the extended intro on for it um which was really cool it was really random though like no one understood what was going on uh Mia and her life in high school I would like that as an episode two I did just like what two hours ago drop a little mini Deep dive into Mia so if you haven't checked that out after this live stream please go check that out um Bing go baby what would I want to see in the future episodes I want to see a flash back to how Mort and Grandma hadle met I think that would be a really great way of us showing more of Chile's mom even though she's passed away I think that would be really really cool but yeah um someone again asked how long will they be three and a half minutes long so they're about half an episode in total um and then I just going to check we did find out just a little bit of extra information oh where did it go H I can't find the picture for it but basically Joff Bush who does like most of the music for bluee he put up on one of his stories that he didn't do most of the music for this so it was actually Daniel O'Brien who's also does a lot of music for blue he works quite closely with Joff um so he did a lot of the stuff for the mini episodes so I'm really excited to hear what he's done with the music for these I think that would be really cool um oh someone just said Bosco yes what happened to bosow uh that could be really interesting I think um someone what have we got Clarissa said in the future rad and frisky have kids and name one after Bandit that would be really cute but yeah we could see like rad and frisky buying a house moving into it something to do with that um someone just said what did I think of the new album as in dance mode Lou edits there we go the dance Mode album I love it we listen to it still all the all the time it's amazing um but yeah um someone said is Brandy having a boy or girl I don't know um I guess we'll find out perhaps in this oh yeah not a girl from Mars Hercules we haven't seen Hercules since the episode circus he's actually one of like the characters I have for like a deep dive to do on so I'm really hoping that yeah maybe we will see more of Hercules again because he doesn't even appear as like a random background character like we've just never seen him um someone else here said Coco's family yeah I feel like this would be a perfect opportunity to show what it's like in like a family with lots and lots of kids because they haven't really shown that in bluee like so far I think what Rusty is the only one we've seen who's got it like a bigger family so I feel like that would be really really cool to see that um so the Demonic Bluey nice name um is the mini SS going to be in the blue official channel so no it seems like they're like releasing these as like actual episodes so they'll be available on ABC Kids Australia so on ABC I view like the free streaming app and they'll also be available on Disney Jr and the Disney plus I assume that maybe they'll put them out on YouTube eventually but not straight away especially considering that Dad baby only just got really released on the official YouTube channel so it might be a while until we see them on YouTube so I would say at least for a year they're going to be on those specific platforms of ABC Disney plus and Disney Jr um just going back down to the bottom of the comments here oh Winnie yeah I would love to see an episode like at Winnie's house with like Winnie and her dad and she has a little sister too I think from memory they said in the episode Cafe so that would be really cool um I think that would be really good someone said the 80s again yeah the flashback episodes fantastic and they did say that we would see the mullet return and I wonder if it was like the mullet from the end of surprise with Bandit having it or with Bluey having that mullet um but we never know we could get another one it could be something like that um oh someone said here maybe an EP about Missy and her adoptive mom it would be good representation for adopted children who may be watching it yeah I think this would be these mini SS are kind of like a perfect time to like do kind of like mini dives into those I think so they could do one showing Missy and the like adoptive style of family they could do pretzel with his two moms as well like that could be something they could focus on these were all completed as well with like season three as far as we're aware because again all of the production staff wrote like goodbye thanks for season 3 that's a wrap on Bluey kind of post on Instagram and Twitter two years ago that's when they stopped working for bluee so we can assume that these were already all done and they've just been waiting to release them basically um I think we could have more Min SS more Min families yeah I think that'd be really cool someone just put up here so Seline are we not getting season 4 not yet and at least not for the next two years or more because it takes them about one and a halfish years to make a whole season of Bluey and again like I mentioned before they would need staff to make a season of Bluey which they currently do not have so Ludo Studios isn't white like Disney where it just has like ongoing stuff it seems to like just contract people for like that specific show so yeah all the bluey like animators and like the bfx artists and background animat things like that none of them are working anymore at Ludo Studios except for like what I can see is like maybe five or six of like the lead ones um so yeah the rest of the staff don't work there anymore and so as soon as they announce that they will green light a season 4 then that's when production would start and a year and a half from that announcement is when we would get a season 4 so at the moment that's that's not happening because none of them are currently working so yeah maybe if we're lucky in three years we might get blue season 4 but there's nothing as of yet sadly I know it really it's a shame because it's an amazing show but I get it like it's a lot on Joe Brum to obviously write a whole more like another season of it um and he did say that he was working on something quite big at the moment that's Bluey related so I don't know what that means so I'm excited to see what this Bluey related project is that he is working on um someone said oh yes a flashback to baby bingo that would make for a really cute mini sod because we've seen like a picture of her on the wall next to bluee with floppy so we know she's had floppy since birth so yeah I think yeah couple other people are like yes baby bingo the Healer Brothers yeah I'd love to see more of rad when he was younger I think that'd be really cool um the teras family growing yeah like the step brother kind of episode I think that would be really great um I think for most of the settings here I think majority of them are going to be like maybe in it you would assume that like it's going to be background that they've already created because that's obviously the easiest thing for them to do so sh it's going to be like some in the playgrounds the parks the Healer house of course maybe the beach the beach ones are always really popular so that could be interesting um someone said would we get flashbacks maybe I'm unsure I would really like to do that oh where are you Michael Stewart that was the sweetest comment ever Margie how does it feel to be the top blue YouTube channel that is so incredibly nice and kind of you um obviously I wouldn't be here without any of you guys watching my videos liking them sharing them commenting on them um it's been a really amazing three years have I been doing this for now yeah three four three three years I've been doing this for now um so yeah it's been really awesome I absolutely love doing this as my full-time job now um but yeah thank you guys so much for your support because I wouldn't be here without you guys loving blue as much as I do um someone asked uh what's your favorite character out of Bluey okay hang on I'm going to switch my background here to General Q&A time um my favorite character is muffin I love muffin she's my favorite I think she's the most realistic character in the entire show I hope we get a mini swod on muffin or socks I would really love that um oh someone just said banro and Felix again characters we have not seen well we we've never seen them we heard about them in Bight so yeah that could be a really interesting one to see um a you've been watching since your 10 happy 13th birthday in 41 days spider thank you topics that BL brings up um so yeah I just think it's really important that we talk about all those sorts of things as much as we can in like a familyfriendly way um we got another one for judo's dad's family yeah oh here we go yeah maybe Snickers and his mom it might be a nice episode to show a single mother and a son yeah I also want to know why Snicker's mom was at the wedding literally tomorrow I have a video coming out about why mayard was at the wedding and how that links in with like this whole other big Theory which I'm really excited to show you guys but yeah the other Joe Brum said that like each character who was at the wedding actually had a backstory for why they were at the wedding so it was really cool uh but yeah I Snick his mom and Rocco why are they at the wedding like it makes no sense um so yeah I'm excited to hear what your theories are about that on my video for tomorrow um we got couple other family reunion episode that would be really cute another way to bring like all the characters in together that would be really cool um and then someone just ask me what is my who's my least favorite character ah like I mean obviously granny pug is like the meanest character in Bluey but she's still really funny and like it gave us a lot of funny jokes with muffin so I don't know if I can say she's my least favorite I don't know if there's a least favorite I feel like they're just when each character is given a moment to shine they really shine so it makes them really fun to watch I think um my favorite season so far I feel like each season is like its own personal thing like season one I think is very much for kids like I noticed like my younger kids definitely love that so much more season 3 I feel like is a lot more deep like it's really delving into a lot more deeper issues between kids and family as well and then season two is like this happy middle ground so it's hard man like each season has its own kind of theme to it but I have loved season 3 because it's had lot of really cool Easter eggs in it that's definitely why um oh someone just said something about where is it about luy's Dad ah yes here we go will we see a backstory to Lucky's dad and mom's relationship maybe I do have like a bit of a theory that maybe they're like they got together like separately sort of thing so like maybe Chucky is both of their kids but maybe lucky isn't I don't know like it's a theory that I'm like working on cuz it was like a little bit of a hint towards it um more Bluey my favorite episode yeah guys let me know in the comments as well what your favorite episode is uh my favorite episode is baby race it always will be it's the only one that I cry twice in it's so good um oh we just had Brandy might have twins that would be really cool I'd love that yes Casper we need to know about Casper and Judo I'm so happy you remembered the Casper line I had that in my theory video about Judo um being from a divorced family and Casper being like a step brother I want to know who Casper is as well cuz at the moment he's just a ghost um a lot of people are saying their favorite episode was the sign that's awesome my favorite long dog oh oh there's a really good one the one eating the pie maybe in born yesterday that was one of my favorite ones I like the ones in season 3 where like very much like matched up with what was happening in the episode those were really cool uh bry's husband we could see something about what's going on I actually have a I have so many Theory videos I do have a theory video though about who it is I'm pretty happy with it actually it'll be out maybe next week um oh wait wait wait wait wait wait I just saw a really good question Hogwarts and hearts isn't the Blu-ray creator making a show about a boy finding out he's trans and do you think we will have any lgbtq plus families very interesting question so I know where you were trying to go with this one um but I not quite so what's actually happened is so Ludo Studios they have a bunch of different projects just like Disney has a bunch of different projects so blue is one of them but one of their other projects is called Willie so it's got nothing to do with Joe Brum or as far as I'm aware any of the animators or things like that it's a lud Studio specific project but Willie is about a 15-year-old boy in Queensland as well just like bluee and he is going through like his sexual Awakening and realizing that he likes boys so he's not trans but it is lgbtq plus and it is from Ludo Studios so that's like that connection there so I hope that answered your question for you but yeah I'm excited to see Willie though I think it'll be really good and I think I wouldn't be surprised if Netflix tried to pick it up or anyone on it sleep because it's going to be Ludo studios's new animated project and considering that like Netflix and Disney both passed on Bluey when it first came out they must be kicking themselves about it and Furious so I think Willie will probably get picked up maybe not by Disney but definitely I think by Netflix as soon as like they want to broadcast it absolutely I'm really excited I think it'll be really cool um oh I just saw you said yes it did I'm glad I'm glad I was was able to answer your question there oh someone said cherry and Chippy yes I want to see more of cherry and Chippy I think that would really good oh and uh casual butter says I want to see a spotlight episode about uh posie the wheelchair kid yeah I think we i' would like to see more like they've used the Pilon dog a lot in the background so I think that would be really cool um Grace ask are the minisodes replacing normal Bluey episodes so no this is just a 20p part miniseries that's helping continue Bluey along basically Al so 20 episodes we're assuming they're dropping weekly so that's 20 weeks so that's basically taking us to the end of the year we also have Bluey um blue e World opening in August in Brisbane so that's all we have for now I don't know what's happening in 2025 if they are the blue related project Joe brum's working on seems to be like what's going to be next and I'm assuming it's a movie so there might be like a whole year without bluee content coming out as far as we know so far still waiting for them to tell us a few more details on it but that's all we've got so far um oh someone said frisky's Mom I want to know more about frisky's whole family she has a brother a sister a mom and a dad and I've got a video again coming out about that but um but yeah I want to know more about her parents especially their design I love it um oh going down to the bottom here so Pretzel's moms yeah I really want to see one of those as well random mgala question um oh who's my favorite ah I mean zanda always looks amazing so and she had two looks that was pretty cool um okay random I'm going to stay on here for about five more minutes guys so any other questions you want to ask let me know I'm just going through the chat now um oh someone asked me if you could get a job at Ludo Studios would you want to um honestly no I really love what I do right now I mean I'd love to like randomly voice a character that would obviously be very very cool but I'm not an animator or like an animator editor in any sort of situation I'm good at making content and creating stuff like that so I mean I'd love to voice background character that would be super cool I'd do that any day any day of the week for free Ludo Studios if anyone's watching um all right just going down to the bottom of the chat here um trying to think someone just asked again about season 4 there it has not been green L it's not production and there's no staff working on it so right now there is no season 4 but perhaps in the future there will be um right now the next thing is the blue miny series that's what's coming out so that's where when they keep saying there's more Bluey that's what they're talking about is the bluey miniseries um more Bluey plushies yes I want yeah there's so many characters that we still don't have um there's one Indie Indie is like a character that we don't have as a plushy yet so I would love to see Indie as a plushy I'm really hoping we see her um oh someone okay blue EDS ask a question how is the flower with the new wife played at the wedding in Australia because Trixie was there with the flower throw and she's married I understand what you're asking me this question here so what I'm assuming they decided to do for this obviously is because it's a little backyard wedding and it's just a small wedding just any of the girls who wanted to join in to catch the flowers could whether they were married or unmarried and obviously Trixie is there mostly for the joke with stripe because it works out really well um there was actually a line that Joe Bram replaced in the sign so when stripe comes out of the bushes and he goes like Oh what day is it originally that line was actually where's my Trixie and I kind of wish that he had kept that line in because I think that's so sweet and it really plays him with like the whole like argument things that they were having in the background so I kind of wish he'd kept the where's my Trixie line that would have been my one of my favorite lines still as well um where we got uh random slice of Cake official says Theory frisky's three friends are chili her brother and her sister they could be they could be I I want to know who the the dog with like the Bob was because we still have no idea who she was so I'm really really hoping for that yeah where's my Trixie right it would have been so cute I really kind of wish they'd kept it or even like made it two lines like what day is it where's my Trixie that would have been really sweet um someone oh where was that question Alfie yeah I would like to see maybe Alfie a little mini Halloween EP that would be cute because I mean these mini episodes will cross over with Halloween so perhaps that will be their way of doing a Halloween episode because they could do a special like that um oh thank you so much Callum I really appreciate that I thank you so much I hope you're having a great day as well um so oh that's a really cute idea an American friend so they could write a pen pal to each other that would be a really sweet way of adding in kids from other countries they could do that as like a whole thing actually with like blue school like they each have a pen pal from a different country that would be a really amazing way I think to add in to also just show like how much Blue's become a huge phenomenon around the world as well so I think that would be something really sweet and maybe like a very natural way to add in kids from different countries and different languages into the show that could be really cool good idea um someone said Kitty blocks my favorite character is muffin absolutely love muffin so much uh does Bingo have a kid well everyone did think for a little while that maybe that kid at the front door was Bingo but I don't think it was I think it was blue all right guys we're going to be two more minutes and then I'm going to be signing off so like I oh hang on I'm just going to check the last Mia and Captain yeah I hope we get a minod about them especially considering I just did a video about tomorrow and the next day and then it'll be a little bit of a break I'm going to try and aim for doing my videos mostly Friday Saturdays and Sundays and maybe one during the week if I can um just because that seems to be when most of you guys are online and watch videos um but otherwise cheeky dogs I really appreciate all of you so much someone oh someone just said I'm sure we would still get more Bluey and I saw someone said do I want a Halloween episode yes I do Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I as an Australian would absolutely love that but all right cheeky dogs I'm going
