Everyone loves Kelly Clarkson!

it ladies and gentlemen [Applause] i actually genuinely do not believe we would be sitting here today if you hadn't entered the show you have your own talk show now yeah congratulations on that you are one of the first that believes in me yes i thought for sure you should have a talk show oh my god what a big deal it is to meet you what are you serious yes it is a very big deal for me to meet you i just think you're amazing oh my god i thought that was going to go the opposite way i am honored to have you on my show how are you talented and your music has had such a powerful effect on my life and i am such a huge fan and you are so talented but i have to say we predicted you did kelly was going to have a show a long time i thought you were nuts you showed up on our set and you lit the place up like nobody ever had and i didn't oh well i mean i don't think you have to worry with a voice like yours i was so honored and nobody can sing like you so i was very proud of you and so proud of your rendition of it it's great one of the best ever kelly's a very special warm-hearted young lady i love her with all my heart and for her to come out she's really busy right now and i know it really strapped her heart on on free time to come do this and i was so oh it just it made my heart feel so good to know that she came on she killed it on fancy she's such a wonderful singer she had a few licks and i thought i might try that next time probably won't hit it because she's got such a large range how many words are only as good as the people's names are on them compliments are only good as the people that give them oh you're can i tell you no no no you're you're you're a freak yes you're a freak in nature everybody in the business knows that you have no ceiling you're so for you to say that about her she would sit here and say we just like couldn't stop watching old videos of you singing they were just it's so phenomenal and emotional and made us cry well if you didn't watch then you missed kelly clarkson i thought that she did a great job hosting i loved all of her costume changes you know she gave a moving speech she was also really funny and really relevant like she knew exactly where she was and to deliver she is she's a keeper i just have to say that you were like the first idol that i ever had and so sweet i wouldn't be the artist or even the person that i am with being so outspoken and vulnerable and fearless um if i hadn't had you to look up to so i thank you for that because very nice she's so cool she's the nicest person on the planet dude and uh whenever we had this song keeping score we knew we wanted to do a duet and our first person that we thought of we wanted kelly clarkson because she has one of the voice best voices on the planet i think you guys would all agree any kelly clarkson fans out there come on yeah i said any kelly clarkson fans out there that's what i'm talking about i had the hamilton mixtape on and i heard your rendition and i have to say i just i just uh it slayed me and it uh it just affected me so deeply that still to this day it's like sometimes i prepare in acting um listening to that if it's a really emotional scene so i feel such an intimate uh connection with you on an artistic level and i just wanted to share that god that made me feel really good kelly clarkson are you guys uh i love kelly yeah she's great right i love her in a way that i just i just never knew that she had all this amazing personality so it's it's great to see her show you guys when kelly come in to sing on the record i've been asked about this in every interview i've been doing this week about the album release i'm like i'm like what is it about kelly i'm like she's not real like she's not normal like she's just amazing she's crazy and she comes in and she just you know i hear this high strong harmony and i know i'm not going to sing it and i'm like kelly can you go over here and do this for me and it's just amazing what you bring and i know you could probably everyone you sing with you make them sound better but i love our voices together oh my gosh i love singing with you yeah let's do more let's see he said kelly clarkson given the show you know i said i said finally when i found out she was going to be a coach on the voice i knew this was going to be a great addition because i've never been around kelly clarkson when she didn't have a huge smile on her face so the question is who are we talking about kelly clarkson oh by the way great great great idea she is she's a natural and yeah she's authentic she's real she's herself she's fun she's unpredictable she's hysterical she's talented she can sing nothing in the world she can't do so all right i think it's great she'll be successful i believe really successfully thank you these are two of the greatest singers ever in life you know it's funny we've never we've never sang together i i i wouldn't even try oh shut your mouth you know just before the commercial break ended i literally just so i could spit it out before i have to go i say like you are the gr you are the greatest vocalist on our planet i think so nice but we need to sing together at some point i never even put that together and listen and listen not to give props we got to give flowers with flowers to do that means props kel i'm going to call you yokels i'm into it you were so good on the acms with one of the hardest songs to sing in life god i wanted to die i'm telling you guys that's how great she is
