[Music] hello and welcome to this vlog video in this video you'll see how i cycle from bilbao in spain to mimizon in france so yes i'm gonna cross the french border i'm gonna go back to france i'll cycle the eurovelo one along the atlantic coast and after spending almost six months in spain i gotta leave that beautiful country i found two of the most beautiful camp spots where i've ever camped what else happened um ah i stopped drinking coffee but you'll see that in the video enjoy watching cheerio [Music] so [Music] good morning i decided to sleep without my tent and that was not the best idea because um yeah because of the moisture everything is pretty um yeah pretty wet and so i was freezing a little bit this night because my sleeping bag is wet and i don't have one of these um be back things i was a little cold i prefer sleeping outside than setting up my tent i don't know why but for me just gives me a better feeling to just sleep like this outside i have to wake up [Music] uh today i woke up earlier than the last days i don't know why but i needed a lot of sleep so each night i slept for like 10 11 12 hours i'm 20 kilometers away from san sebastian today i will climb my last hill i had a look on commute this is the application i used to plan my routes this is the last hill i'm gonna i'm gonna climb for the la for the next uh five or six or seven hundred kilometers so it's gonna be very flat um and for now i don't know if i'm happy about it or not because it could be annoying but on the other side i'm taking it slow these days you might have uh have been watching my last vlog where i was sick so yeah i'm still i'm still taking it slow yesterday i rode 18 kilometers i rode 15 and then there was a beach and the last time i spent some time at the beach was on gran canaria so like i don't know two months ago i laid down at the beach and i fell asleep and i slept for four hours i woke up and i was completely wasted i didn't know what was going on and so i just uh searched for a place to sleep and this is where i am now i'm in the face i'll pack my stuff i'll get ready and make my way to san sebastian and maybe i'll also cross the french border today here i come vamos [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] i'm just one kilometer away from the french border and i had a little snack attack um and actually i can't wait to reach the euro bellow oh i don't know is it eurovalo 8 or six or one i don't know i have to check it again i'll be at the coastline for so so so so many kilometers i'm excited but um at the same time i'm also a little sad because i spent almost six months i think in spain now like apart from my two weeks in portugal i fell in love with spain i fell in love with the culture and the people and yeah i'm so proud that i learned the language at least a little bit like i can have daily daily conversations it sounds like a total foreigner but i don't care i just enjoyed talking yes hasta luego espana let's go to france [Music] where are you i wanted to say donde estas but that's wrong now uh i don't know still searching for the overlap and i hope i'm gonna find it soonish oh yes i found it hello eurovelaro nice to see you i hope your roads will be smooth and good [Music] i'm tired and i don't want to go any further so i thought i could go in here i just gonna try and carry my bike over this beautiful thing here so watch me as i look like an idiot i don't know yes [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] good morning i slept like a little baby today i'm gonna make my way to bayern and i think i might go a little further as well and uh yeah it's gonna take me ages again until i'm i'm ready to uh get going um because i don't know i'm so slow um in the morning like there were times where i was cycling at like eight o'clock or 8 30 but i'm not doing this anymore i set my alarm because otherwise i would just sleep until i don't know i just i would sleep and sleep and sleep and sleep and sleep um so i have to set my alarm oh and one thing i stopped drinking coffee holy usually i've had two or three coffees in the morning before i before i took off and then i had like all day long i was just drinking coffee and like i'm not lying right now i've had like 10 or 15 coffees a day also that disgusting coffee powder like that instant coffee powder and i also drank that even if i didn't have gas so i did i drank it cold since three weeks i do not drink coffee i thought i will never ever stop drinking coffee but i did [Music] i found a very beautiful spot to sleep and it was another day of just riding 25 kilometers and i slept four hours at the beach and now i found a place to sleep and i just realized that i didn't have enough water and i asked a woman if she knows where's like a public water fountain thing and then she just went to her car and gave me this people are lovely i observed this spot at the beach for an hour now and there were so many people passing by that i decided i didn't want to sleep there because if there's so many people at like 9 00 p.m there will be people very early in the morning and yeah i don't know i don't like to be watched when i wake up and oh so i decided to go a little bit up and here is nobody in the field i'm always kind of paranoid when the grass is um a bit uh higher because of these little animals i don't know the english term but these um little animals they just crawl on your skin and they bite you and then they suck your blood um because i've had two of them the last few days and i uh i don't like them um yeah but um but i'm fine and yeah i'm happy with this spot now um for myself and i guess there will be no one in the morning uh so yeah i just set up my tent and yeah i don't know go to bed i have to breathe out uh 38 times to blow it up and each night i'm annoyed to do that i just think of it as a breathing meditation yeah so 37 times [Music] these are my clothes and i always use them as a pillow okay all this set um i will just store my bags in my tent i'm just passing through yaritz it's a cloudy day today which is good because i finally want to make some kilometers i'm gonna make my way to bayonne now and yeah let's uh yeah let's just go i passed by on without even noticing i'm on my way to la rochelle um 400 kilometers i don't know there will be a couple of small cities in between but i don't remember their names as always and yeah there was a bridge closed so i had to take a very beautiful detour and i'm getting quite hungry so i might just stop somewhere hopefully at the beach and have breakfast [Music] one little tip uh if you run out of uh water uh you can always just search for uh graveyards and there you can refill your water bottles because um there are always like uh fresh water fountains and yeah so sometimes when i don't find any any fountains in the nature i just uh search for graveyards and there is water which is there to water the flowers and what is good for flowers is also good for me i gotta walk my bike it's such a sandy road and i get stuck oh my god this is one of the most amazing camping spots where i've ever been i had to walk my bike for 10 minutes or something but it's uh it's totally worth it it's it's incredible it's so beautiful [Music] so that's it uh thanks for watching and i just wanted to say thank you real quick to all my coffee supporters thank you very much eric thanks sophia thank you tommy thanks stefan thank you sasha i'm saying cheerio goodbye salut and adios and i'll see you next time [Music]
