Essential Oil Blends by Vitruvi: First Impression of Grove and Sleep

hi there welcome back today I'm going to give you my first impressions of two essential oils that I've ordered I ordered these from the truly here it is and I've got my scissors so I I'm getting quite a collection of the Vitruvius but this particular these two particular ones that I've ordered are going to be a gift so it's fine cuz she's not gonna see this video until it's out but I'm gonna give you my sniff test and tell you what I think I ordered them a week ago and I ordered two specific ones because I thought they would be really good for her but I haven't looked again at the ingredients and essential oils that are in each of them so I don't really remember the blends completely so what you're gonna see is I'm gonna take a sniff from them and smell them and I'm gonna give you my impression of what I think they smell like and then I'll go over what the essential oils are in each of them and I'll tell you why I've ordered them all so I have approximately five of the blends from the true me why do i order from them well they're a local to me company they're here in BC Canada they have organic really high-quality essential oils so that's one of the reasons I've ordered some singles and I've ordered a few of the blends so far at home I have boost actually my daughter ordered that one but we have boost we have clean sweet and the other one I have is specific I like all of them so I'll show you what I've ordered I'm going to get into this package right now all right here they are so I have ordered sleep and I've ordered grow let me just get free the best salon here okay so I'll tell you a little bit of my reasoning for ordering these two specific ones the one that's called Grove and the one that's called sleep so I haven't looked and read the packages yet so I can't remember what's in them I'm assuming there's some lavender in the sleep one maybe some Catamount we'll find out so Grove I do remember that it's supposed to be reminiscent of forests and trees and that is exactly the reason I ordered this one because my sister loves to be out in nature specifically walking in forests she loves trees so I hope this one really evokes the sense of being in a forest and that fresh clean smell that you have in there and then because she works full-time in a stressful job and sometimes we have trouble sleeping I ordered her asleep because this can be diffused when you're ready to settle down and be calm in the evening so I thought this would be a nice one to even diffuse while you're sleeping so I'm gonna open these up and let's see how they smell I'm gonna open grow first and she won't mind that I'm opening these up I'll tell her I had to smell them so okay here goes I don't have any essential oils either diffusing in the house so this is gonna be my first No at first I had a smile of eucalyptus but then there is almost like like a tree sap smell it's very clean it doesn't smell flowery at all and I think that's like that's a good thing for being something that's supposed to be like the forest it's very fresh clean and I guess I don't know my tree sense but it does have that scent of a Christmas tree kind of that's how I when I buy Christmas trees and you get the SAP in your hand or you bring it in here kind of touching the needles I can smell that so this is nice I think she'll like this so I'm going to now see what the sleep one is smells like now I believe sleep is one of their new essential oil blends I have a few companies that I like I've always mentioned that I like revive revive is another company they're based in the United States and they have some really good Greek I thought some of their oils they have great singles and they have wonderful blends - a good thing I can't see that well because I can't read that fine print so I don't know what's in it all right let's let it air out I want if it's like perfume I wonder if I should have some coffee beans first - Smith okay here goes oh that's that's got that a very warm kind of cozy smell but I do smell lavender I don't know what else I smell it just had a little bit of a sweeter smell but not sweet not in the florally sense in any way but kind of warm and sweet in a very subtle way it has a lavender but it has other sense I don't know it'll be interesting to find out what's really in here I can see this being diffused and then going to sleep with it it's nice I like it so you're curious what's in here let me pull up I'm gonna grab my laptop which is right over here and I'm gonna read off the website and see what's in there blends and just as a FYI the true v has 20% off right now a site-wide it says until July 8th and just something else I wanted to mention you can actually buy those stone covers as replacements for your diffuser and they're quite reasonably priced and everything's on sale right now it looks like most of the stone covers are all sold out you can buy the replacements don't cover in all the colors you can reply the replacement lid for the plastic piece that's inside we the reservoir where you put the water you can also buy the electrical cords as replacement pieces so I I was really happy to know that and so if you're interested in one of those diffusers and you buy a particular color and maybe you want to move it around or in the winter you want one color versus the other you can buy a couple of covers and switch it up anyway I just thought I'd let you know because I didn't realize that all right so let's look at Grove first these are really good prices 20% off right now I didn't get that because I paid for these and I bought them before the sale I'll redo the description on the tree of the site Grove is woodsy and fresh true blended with fir spruce pine and cedar wood it's inspired by Rainey hikes through the forest Wow doesn't that sound nice Grove is best diffused when the daily grind has you craving a dose of nature well I really think my sister's gonna like that and that's very true it smelt exactly like those scents and I'm happy with that one so let's have a look at what sleep is made of sleep is soothing and powdery blended with lavender which already knew frankincense that's a really good one I used those oils I put some in the pomegranate oil that I used for my face Eli me lang so that gives it that kind of subtle sweetness that little bit of a Florrie florally scent Roman chamomile so I knew lavender and chamomile are very calming and the other one is vetiver vetiver if I remember correctly has more of a kind of bright smell a citrusy smell it's inspired by that comfort of a warm cashmere blanket sleep is best diffused from bedtime all the way into morning well that's lovely I think she'll like those because it's got the lavender the frankincense and the camera mile that's incredible so the other thing I wanted to just mention is the recommendations for essential oil blends on the Vitruvius it--very diffuser are 2225 drops if you fill the reservoir up to the fill line and that diffuses well for a five hundred square foot room I can tell you that I use quite a bit less when I put the drops in so just be mindful of that how strong you want the scent to be you can test it out and the other thing is if you have the diffuser that the truly has continuous it lasts for three hours and the second thing is if you're doing in the intermittent diffusing then that lasts for seven and a half hours so 30 seconds on diffusing thirty seconds off so be mindful of that and my recommendation is you start with lesser drops and then build up if you don't think it's not you you can always add more drops to the reservoir but you can't take them away once you've put them in so test it out I'm really happy with these I think she will be glad to share the first impressions with you so they they are true to what they say I didn't expect anything different and I'm sure that they will smell really lovely especially Grove during the day and sleep during the evening and during the night and just as an aside I have now purchased three of the diffusers that's how much I like them so one is going to be a gift to my sister along with these oils if you're interested check them out ok I hope you enjoyed that and found it interesting I did I was really pleased with Grove and sleep with the one that's really nice too is boost it's a very citrusy a blend of essential oils that really wakes you up that's a good one if you liked this video give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and I'll be making what's my next video about mmm it'll be a continuation of my bathroom rhino's because I've picked a pink color for that so I'm going to show you a little bit about what I'm going to do with that and there's a few other things I've got in store so have a great week and stay healthy good bye
