EPIC debate! 86-year-old Atheist Scientist vs. Christian

[Music] this is Frank he that's a likeable guy he didn't want to come on camera but I talked him into it so he has a good sport it does get rather hot he had a Catholic background atheist who embraces idolatry and watch how the loss stirs up anger according to romans 8 verse 7 and how the cross remains foolishness because he didn't let the more humble him Frank you were telling me you're a scientist and that you've got a scientific background science well I I've always been a follower since I was a little kid in astronomy I just I'd look up at the stars I think how beautiful the universes and being able to travel now did you use to pray when you did that cuz I heard you say you looked up the stars and said God how incredible or were you using his name in vain I don't use his name in vain it's an expression with me I rarely use that it's an accident I used the mighty one which refers the son is the mighty one what a beautiful thing who made it who made it we don't know well you don't know you don't know it yes I do know you don't I do God created the Sun let me ask you a question about the Sun it's 93 million miles away and it's just warm enough to write in your Tomatoes are you gonna say that's a coincidence or there's the design behind it and I'm amazed at how orderly it is but you know I can counter anything you say after Wald God did this God did dad I can tell you what God did not do so you don't believe in God's existence no ok so answer me this do you really believe the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything well you believe we I don't believe I can't believe anything because I don't have the facts I'm the guy that loves to base my beliefs on facts so you don't have the fact yes I do you don't do it's false false belief it's because you read the Bible that's fine it's a great book but all these things God did this God did that and yet here we are in their modern society and you go back to Sodom and Gomorrah he destroyed the city well why aren't we why don't we continue doing that there's worse things in the world now than there was then so you want God's judgment day to come today do you think you're a good person yes how many lies have you told in your life who can count God can count your belief is well if I lived a good life and I believe in and do all the things that he professes then I will go to heaven no no you've got it wrong Frank yeah live in heaven let me tell you have you ever stolen something in your whole life even if it's small you ever used God's name in vain oh I do but not on purpose now jesus said if you look at a woman and lust for her you commit adultery whether in your heart have you ever looked at a woman with lust of course I'm only human so Frank it was a perfect life Frank I'm not judging you but you have just told me you're a lying thieving blasphemous adulterer at heart now here's the big question if God judges you by the ten commandments on judgement day you're gonna be innocent or guilty oh I'd probably be guilty heaven or hell huh heaven or hell no she would help there's no such place and there is no heaven really quick if you're enjoying this video please hit the and paid a fine deigned a pole all o laws were human beings that's right we're sinners we live together we're gonna make mistakes one minute police and you know ok go gonna watch so Frank you and I broke God's law the Ten Commandments the moral law no laws because I never believed them in the first place or don't look me into that group Lisa give me one minute I broke God's law I also send against God a light stole and I lusted after a woman and I was in big trouble on Judgment Day heading for hell but the Bible says even though we broke God's law God is rich in mercy and sent a savior jesus paid the paid the fine for the law that you and I violated on the cross he said it is finished in other words the debt has been paid Frank if you're in court and summer pays to find the judge can let you go and God can let you go on Judgment Day you can escape the damnation of Hell because of what Jesus did on the cross he cried out it is finished the Dead has been paid God can let you live forever legally forgive your crimes because of the death and resurrection of the Savior and the scriptures say the preaching of the Cross is foolishness to those that are perishing and please Frank think about this how old are you 86 you don't know when you're gonna go death can seize upon you at any time I'm not worried about it you should because after death the judgment but God offers your mercy know the Judgment Day so if it be right on the spot forgave this person then why do I worry about living the perfect good life he forgives I'm on my way then the Bible says you got to put your faith in Christ to be saved don't just believe in the parachute put your trust into it put your trust in Jesus and your pass from to life I'm a scientist give me the facts it's a revenue you believe you you predicate everything on blind faith death is the arresting officer that's going to take it before the judge of the universe to answer for breaking his law and hell is God's prison without parole and I and I'm pleading with your repent that's going to happen to me you're gonna get justice on the day of judgment not your belief yes sir you're you're pressing your belief on me and I'm not impressed with that statement I love you and that's why I'm talking to you like this please here's the fact you're gonna die could be tonight God offers you everlasting life as a free gift if you'll humble yourself repent and trust the Savior the point in time there is no afterlife if I keep this up I'm gonna give you a heart attack and I'm gonna be responsible for your death so I'm gonna wipe and thank you for listening to me and I greatly appreciate you doing so giving you some literature there and I I hope you'll read it and look at it and I really appreciate the fact once again you've been patient with me and listen to me and I wish you all the best friend well you know I've talked to a lot of people over time who are tremendous believers like yourself and this I keep reiterating I should that's fine your life but I can't I haven't gotten to that point after the camera was turned off with chatter for some time and part of like really close friends so I hope to see
