raising money to build houses and provide homes for those in need today i'm at the breakers with my begin who is going to be emceeing this amazing event tonight the habitat for humanity gala habitat for humanity of palm beach county is such a fantastic organization and their mission is to bring people together to build homes communities and hope and if you look around this room you can see the way that they bring people from all walks of life together everyone in this room is making a real difference it's generational change and i'm incredibly grateful to be a part of it jenna [Music] i mean it's really honestly a team effort to make something this amazing to happen so uh you know my wife heather and i certainly put in a lot of effort but really it's it's everyone from the cal committee to all the people that work in habitat to even the people that breakers that made this come alive this event is really the go-to event for the year because it really helps rebuild the communities in palm beach county and habitat for humanity is such an amazing foundation so anything that they do i support it's all about the homeowners for us and the fact that the theme is there's no place like home it just totally ties into just a beautiful night we're here to raise a lot of money help a lot of people thank you everybody who came they've given us foundation they've given us stability they've given us family time i think i'm just more so excited because we have a home that we don't have to uproot from well south florida that is a wrap and we are at the end of this yellow brick road for this evening we have been at the habitat for humanity gala at the breakers hotel and what an evening it has been we have raised over a hundred and sixty thousand dollars and that's a services a lot of larger retail chains are outsourcing their store level it work and we have found that we can provide that service and it's everything from installing pos to digital signage to quick service restaurants [Music] my name is ben hall and i'm the global cio for krispy kreme donuts so as a global cio i'm responsible for anything technology related whether it's online inside of our corporate offices or in our shops and that guest experience making sure that we're using technology in the best ways we can to just enhance that customer experience and make sure that they're getting the donuts that they want when they want them and how they want them yeah we have a great partnership with macro we've had it for many years and we know that we can count on them whenever we need anything in any of our shops anywhere around the country we can just call them and they'll immediately be there [Music] we're donut companies so we make money by selling donuts and micro helps us to make sure that we can bring in donuts that we can sell donuts that we can take payments for those donuts and that's super important and they understand how important that is to us online transactions are a big part of our business as well so making sure that that is working at any given time so that partnership's super important that we have somebody that we can trust that when we're having issues in any of those areas that they'll step in and give us a hand whenever we need them to my name is juan cosme i'm actually the warehouse manager for macro integrations well we're basically responsible for customer inventory receiving customer equipment in and also shipping it out well macro integrations we're in the business of technology integration well it's a huge benefit to the customer sometimes you may not know exactly what you need but even with customers that don't know that we're able to help them with that whether it's you know helping them create an image helping through the staging process really making something tangible that they can actually work with touch and introduce it to the customer to make sure that their experience is perfect [Music] at the foundation of who we are and what this company was built on it is the team of people and that starts all the way from the co-founders of this organization our executive leadership to project managers like myself to the administrative staff to the warehouse phenomenal group of people that not only care about our customers and what they need and always go that extra mile for them but we all care about each other personally as well trust is everything our reputation is everything from the top down we've always been extremely careful to do what's right if we miss an invoice or if we misprice something or something along those happens from time to time the first thing we always always ask ourselves is what's the right thing to do and that's what we try to do [Music] when clients work with macro integrations when we build that trust and they grow they see us grow so it's always good to grow with our clients because they know that we're at their same pace like they're not outgrowing us we're not outgrowing them so we're kind of walking the road together but we are always in it together i've never felt like what do i do here somebody step up and help me um just a trending today the old farm is a private exclusive country club and golf course nestled in the rolling hills of bristol virginia members and guests enjoy a break from the day-to-day with a southern luxury experience i had heard about the old farm for for such a long time i mean the history of service here and the natural beauty and when i came down here immediately was just blown away it attracts people from all over the world and to me it's all about creating happiness when people come here i think that's exactly what they find some people come here to make new friends and some people really come here to kind of get away from it all and i think that magic that you experience when you drive over the cattle guards i think people's blood pressure goes down and it puts them in a completely different mindset the moment they get on the property here because it really is just a magical space it's really about the old farm experience here and that goes with the golf course everything being pristine and maintainable offering championship conditions on a daily basis this is the spot to be it's truly one of the the jewels of the entire golfing community and everyone who comes here knows it i can bring people here from all over the country and have and regardless of their handicap they can come here and absolutely enjoy the day that all relates back to our golf course architect which was bobby weed and his vision along with our founder jim mclaughlin their vision was to create something that didn't move much earth and to lay out the natural beauty of the golf course now we're the number one course in the state of virginia it is a golf experience like no other when they built this clubhouse they thought that they may just be serving hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and it just became really probably the finest food destination in this area my name is daniel dalton i'm the executive chef here at the old farm most recently i was the chef's cuisine at augusta national golf club what i like to focus on is more of produce than anything else through the bounty of what we offer is what i like to kind of showcase take a little tiny chive blossom that's this beautiful violet-y pink and you throw it on a plate and you eat that you're going to taste a really beautiful chive we are the only place that i know of where we have a working garden right in the middle of an 18-hole golf course we were farm to table before farm to table was really trendy it's one of the finest golf courses you can see anywhere in the world and we like to think that our food and beverage is certainly world class as well we've taken the party barn it was an old hay barn we've converted into a party barn we can post events there for a couple hundred people um the long barn which was the old tobacco barn on property you actually drive through several times during your round of golf it's the watering hole it's a great place to wait out a rain delay it's something that you don't find anywhere else food is fantastic the service is fantastic more importantly the people are fantastic when you become a member it's just a camaraderie of you immediately are friends with everybody else you're here for the same purpose or the same reason to get away from it and to enjoy the facilities the folks here make sure that that happens 100. think it's this getting this balance of how do you leverage your iconic past i mean we're iconic our sound our shape of sound our shapes of our guitars are iconic but at the same time you have to lean into the innovative future well the interesting thing about you know balancing historical classic legacy with new is that a lot of the things that we're doing to go back to our roots are new we really we do for gibson gibbs and we said we make music matter one guitar at a time every generation every genre if you lost your guitar had it damaged in that very specific you know tornado that ripped through nashville we're going to come to your support and get your guitar put a guitar back in your hands so to be able to replace that and put joy back into their hearts and their minds into a calming place amidst trying to recover it's just an overwhelming and awesome experience [Music] [Applause] [Music] our next guest operates out of a building dating back to the 1840s through extensive renovations and innovation the callahan family has transformed this civil war salt house into the tennessee hills distillery [Music] i bet you could probably find me something to drink around here right absolutely you don't have to reach for man welcome aboard all right so show me around give me the lay of the land all right yeah so this is where you can come in and try all of our products you know right now we have about 13 products ranging from our bourbons vodkas we actually have a very good flavored product as well that's a lemon drop basically yeah right it's made with real lemons it's like alcoholic lemonade right yes when life gives you lemons add alcohol i was gonna say come here and ask for yeah for sure being from east tennessee you don't have to look too far to find the moonshine still right that's my grandfather right i grew up around moonshotting my wife jessica and i we went to college and majored in biology and chemistry physics jessica and i worked at eastman chemical company for about five years decided that corporate america wasn't exactly our thing and then one day we drove by this building and a half for sale sign on it called the mayor so what do you think about opening distillery in downtown jonesboro and he of course was ecstatic about it uh and then that's kind of when we kind of started building from the foundation um you know jumping through all the hoops and zoning coming up with brands coming up with products and that was in 2014 and so early 2020 here we stand [Music] back here is where we actually make all of our products this is our still room you know we're a craft distillery out of this room right here uh essentially we put out about a thousand bottles a week but basically right behind us is a a still that my brother and i essentially built right here in-house which is pretty cool like right there we built it built it by yourself yeah man for sure yeah we're like that um single car nascar team you know we just try to make the race you know what are some exciting new things you have coming down the pipeline so we actually have a flavored whiskey lime come out blood orange honey a pear a ginger and then we've got a vodka we're getting ready to release a blackberry serrano vodka being a craft distillery we can kind of play off the craft beer model we can actually kind of come out with some different products throw it out see what happens people don't like it throw it right back at us we'll find something new right so but uh but yeah that's definitely uh something that's coming down the pipe in our future can we go shake something up behind the bar and try to do it let's do it though their motto is embracing heritage make no mistake tennessee hills is working on some incredible innovations the likes of
