[Music] hello on this fine day and today i hope that today is the day that we're gonna start this start this car the weather is looking nice father comes later with and brother with his son i guess so before they get here i want to put in the dash just see maybe i see something on the panel when i turn the key and also the front radiator needs to be placed in rest i think i finished all the tubes there's the radiator with my double fans so that's looking good oh and also i want to attach the gas gas neck i don't know to get in the gas tank the fuel got my uh coolant this is what i will use anti-freeze yeah because we have our weather drop down in the winter to minus 30 plus plus minus minus 35 or something like that so we need to have something that can withstand it that's for my lawnmower that's the oil i used uh this is the brake brake fluid for the clutch and brakes i use dot three i know that in the manual it says that i'll use that for but in the manual it says dot three but after searching uh the what's it called the forums for a while kind of noticed that everyone is saying that nowadays you can use that for and then this gearbox uh fluid will go in the steering wherever that is oh here yeah brakes clutch steering see just like in driving school either way without further ado let's proceed with the radiator radiator as i remember wasn't anything too difficult just insert those those pins there they are and then just screw down first i need to find something that goes in there [Music] so so these were on 10 millimeters 10 millimeter screws pins in the bottom radiator is in i just need to uh connect the pipes that looks like gonna be a bit of an issue but hey at least i can connect the top one without any hustle well at least that one went in fairly well sorry about my snorting all the time because i have allergies everything is growing hey that's life well that actually wasn't that bad i just unscrewed the metal pipe moved it aside just connected and basically 10 minutes and it was it was on there so now i need to tighten this screw down and then add the metal thingy here that i have right here we'll have these we'll have these black metal ones the performance ones so we finished up there for the panel oh it's pretty straight forward i will link the video how i dismantle the panel here and uh yeah basically you need to remove the frame it's held in on three screws you see one two and three and three on the bottom one two and three so we're gonna remove this and then there i will show you there's place to screw down everything and also three four four uh switches first let's just remove this hey it's like a it's like a sports car and remove it with one hand so let's quickly do it there's half a screws are missing because well you see the you see the body of the car so just like that the panel is off i hope that i caught it because the camera was acting up and what do i see i see that it's cut off and it's not ideal that is definitely not ideal because i don't know where where's the rest of the wires supposed to go here's something either way either way maybe i'm lucky and this is panel from different card that's most likely because i see that these switches is basically go with three and four no yeah some switches look like they are the same i'm just not sure about all of them well okay panel stuff will be investigated later i think something like this is uh from there or this that i will investigate the buttons i will investigate later currently you see here are the three i think it was three okay oh yeah three is it three i need to watch my video again either way you see the back side of the panel there's the little one there's the big ones let's switch it all together and go from there [Music] oh slight change of plans this car has a different socket here oh i will later i see that it's basically the same same um wire combination nice something different damn well i figured that one out later currently i'm just gonna plug in this one and leave it at that return so also removed tubing from the from this because this car already has it so just gonna connect that neck part to the gas tank so we can fill it up see it's already in there so yeah we're gonna fill her up connect that filler up and yeah and then try to start it let's see how that goes fingers crossed time to add some diesel mixing up one one container with new diesel and one from the old one let's see how that goes is yes me so recap of what happened in this episode so far this body has different wiring than the engine has so it's a bit tricky to understand what exactly is meant to go where i guess what you already saw the the dash has different socket here but thankfully the dash don't pay any significant role in starting the car it doesn't have any computer or anything in there so that's good then the smoke that was coming from the ground main ground wire basically my generator uh has in one socket the ground and the plus wire but the car has two plus wires and the ground is separate we did a workaround just remove the ground from the generator and just let it go for now with only like connected and now it goes both grounds both pluses go there second thing third basically is uh the main main wiring harness now but the main connection to the engine as you can see i already started redoing it but basically the body had uh these two from one socket this one goes to the fuel temperature sensor and this one goes to this sensor also fuel related so basically i i connected the temperature one and also found we found one wire for the second sensor this wire i guess is this green and yellow maybe it's the black one basically also if anyone has electronics book for 2000 or not 1900 basically g60 96 year and gcc 92 year electrical books i will be more than happy to get them so i can figure out the wiring what is different and why and the final thing that was a bit unexpected but the starter is dead so basically we resolved the wiring issues it should have started but the starter is dead relay just click click click but nothing happened i took off the starter tested it put the electricity straight to it banked on it with a hammer with everything i got nothing nothing helped i guess the calls in there are stuck or something but no worries i got already a new starter now i just need to put it back in there and then test it again so i won't finish this episode without starting the car no matter how long it takes but in this episode we will start the car maybe even add fluids and everything but maybe i will leave it for the next episode so i guess let's get back to doing something productive see you later so i attached the starter we'll remove this we don't need it where we're going let's see also bring fire extinguisher just in case and prepare tools to unscrew the gas pipe in case i can't stall it if it even runs so yeah this is an exciting moment let's see how it goes also i don't have the the light for glow plugs but i'm just gonna give it a minute then try to start it too bad after a little bit of tinkering around did some troubleshooting and found out that one fuse the main i guess fuse was blown it's like this it's this alt gray alternator i guess or something i changed that and now all the panel is showing up properly oh like the glow plugs are heating up without an issue and everything works starter still doesn't that's weird this part it kind of tried once but had made a strange sound and nothing after that just clicking again we'll try to figure out how the electricity is going there is everything fine there and i guess continue troubleshooting and informing you finally decided to take things seriously so to say don't mind the mess preparing to go the summer house just bought this used grill cool love grilling meat meat so i bought this the battery charger plus the starter and did more troubleshooting on the car itself and pretty sure it's gonna run now basically what happened checked all the fuses everything was fine then we started to temper with the starter itself and it turns out i guess the positioning was off because the starter was working but it couldn't uh like get in the teeth like the gauges didn't collide the right way so i turned the engine tried again the starter tried to tried it until it started spinning the flywheel then we unscrewed all the injectors and tried to start it just see that all the cylinders has fuel in them and everything seemed to work there so i guess without further ado let's put this one in the start mode and try to start it let's turn the key as you can see glow plugs are off they're heated electricity is here and one more try oh i think i needed to oh pump the fuel up a bit i forgot about that there you go also it's running fine so super stoked about that [Music] it's running nice okay i'm gonna stall it because i don't have any coolant in there or any and anything so what can i tell you uh yeah it was just i needed to pump up the pump up the gas because i guess it went away or something and also the battery is practically dead then there's a lot of smoke in here so there you have it folks the issue wasn't that big one blown fuse and uh invalid positioning of the starter starter wheel i guess basically this part didn't catch the flywheel so it it worked fine but it couldn't catch the flywheel and also my old starter started working so double happy now for next steps i guess next episode will be purely fluid related i will uh top up i will feel the clutch brakes and the coolant so i have everything in fluid department ready and also i need to figure out the generator situation because like you can see it's too it should should be plus and ground but positive wire and ground wire but since since the car has two two positive wires going out from the car and i don't know oh and this one is the ground wire then then unfortunately i can't connect i guess my ground wire well i need to figure out the situation with wiring with the generator and also i need to tighten down the gas uh wire but yeah next next time purely fluids and then wire some wiring and i will figure out what then but this is a huge milestone and sorry for taking so damn long to to film this but since i'm not really i don't really know what i'm doing then it's it's taking a while while i'll learn and test everything so thanks for staying with me and thanks for everyone who's subscribing we are growing almost 1 000 subscribers that's amazing so there you have it the cars second milestone is finished it started uh it's starting now the next one will be after the fluids are in i guess we can try to drive it out of the tent and something we'll see on that one but still a lot of work to be done get a drivable that's practically there and tons and tons of electrical stuff that i have very limited knowledge of about but at least it's it now looks like a car and it sounds like a car so see you in the next episode and take care bye
