Hi, everyone! To show you how to self-cut your hair, I've grown my hair for 3 months..! When I looked at my hair today, it was so messy that I realized that today was the day. So, I'm filming this self-cutting video:) On the previous self-video I uploaded, lots of subscribers asked me about the scissors and equipment. So, today I'll go to DAISO, a place that is near and can be found anywhere, to buy some things I need like scissors. Would the result be pretty without using the scissors for experts? I'll identify myself with my subscribers this time, who cut their hair on their own at home. Then shall we go?! I've brought a small shopping bag and arrived at DAISO. I'm going to buy a pair of regular scissors, a pair of thinning scissors, a big-sized comb since I like the big one, and some bobby pins I think it cost less than 10,000 won to buy everything. What you need to prepare are regular scissors, thinning scissors, comb for hair-cutting, bobby pins, and two big hairpins. I'm going to cut my hair while it's dry. Brush your hair neatly according to your frequent parting. I'm going to divide the parts from the top of the head to the back of the ear. If you look at it, you can divide the side hair into this amount. Collect this hair and tie it close to the back. And brush the back of your hair to the front like this. Now, be careful before you start! If your posture is bent like this or if it's twisted, your cut line may be twisted as well. Stay upright. I'm going to make the guidelines with the pins. The bottom part here will be the longest part, so don't make it too short. I've put the bobby pins on the level of my breasts. Make sure you check that they both have the same lengths. Put down the side hair you've tied earlier and once again, with the parting as the standard I'm going to separate the hair on the top of the head so that it looks like a half-circle. This amount will be perfect. So there's the second section here. Based on the yellow bobby pins that I put on earlier, I'm going to put the pins about a thumb above the guideline. I used yellow bobby pins so that they can be visible on the video. But if you don't have bobby pins, you can just tie them with rubber bands. You can do it anyway you wish. Then, put down the hair on the top we've separated earlier, and put the pins a thumb above the second guideline. Now, you'll have three guidelines. If you want to put more layers to your hair, you can widen the distance. If you want to have fewer layers, you can shorten the distance. I personally like it to be a distance of a thumb. If you're all done, cut your hair based on the guideline. It's not difficult at all to cut it, but just be careful so that you won't hurt your hand. Cut the second sections as well, being careful of your hands. And when you're done cutting till the third section, take out all the yellow pins. Then, as we separated the side hair earlier, separate the same way and comb it forward diagonally. Cut it diagonally as you connect both ends. Then, you'll do the same process here. Don't take all the hair like just now, but just this amount. If you cut it into a too big angle when you connect the ends, you could have too many layers, so be careful. Now, it's done. Do the same thing on the opposite side. Connect the ends, and cut it carefully. Likewise, don't take all the back hair but just about this amount. Connect the lines as you cut it. If you take too much from your back hair, there will be too many layers which will make the guidelines disappear. So be careful. Now, to make the blunt line smooth, hold your hair vertically and cut the ends. Don't cut too much, just twice or three times like this. Do the vertical cutting on the opposite side too. Be careful of your hands. It's a must to check the balance of both sides after cutting, right? They are well balanced. Now, I'm going to thin my hair out. I'm just going to trim the end with the thinning scissors I bought earlier. At this moment, I was shocked because too much was cut at once. If you're going to use scissors from DAISO, just cut once on one section. It became lighter with just one touch though. Do the same process on the opposite side. Actually, how much you need to thin your hair out depends on your hair texture and the amount of your hair. So, keep looking at the mirror while you cut your hair and cut till you're pleased. Today, I just cut once on each section focusing on the ends. If you want to learn more about thinning the hair out, it's explained thoroughly on the recommended video above, so please check it out. Now, I'm done thinning my hair out and I'm going to trim my bangs. I'm going to do the face-line cutting today. Take out this amount of hair, not too much. Take the baby hair on the sides out too like this. Collect it and cut it by your chin line and cut. Face-line cut is the bang style which is a little longer than the side bangs. Collect the middle hair and cut it by your upper lip line. Similarly, cut it as you connect the ends. Cut the baby hair you've separated earlier by the chin line too. While side bangs can make you look younger, this face-line cut can give off more feminine vibe. When you're drying your bangs, it's good to set the volume of the roots first. As you can see, comb your left hair to the right and the right hair to the left. Comb each side to its opposite and dry it to set its direction. Set the volume and make the hair direction neatly first, and collect everything to roll it. Roll it up. As always, cool it down enough and remove it. If you set the direction of your bangs again like this, the flow will be softer. Don't miss the baby hair on the side and add some natural volume to it. Now the bangs are almost finished. Today, I'm going to add some neat C-curls. C-curl can make the layered cutting stand out more. Part your hair, and dry the upper hair with the big roll brush. Curl it with a big roll brush like this. Give the heat thoroughly, let it cool then remove. It's done! Do the same on the opposite side. Roll the hair, add some heat, cool it down and take it out. If you have long hair, the end hair gets easily messed up or tangled if you do the roll-dry wrongly. Check if your hair is rolled till the end when you dry-curl it. Add some heat carefully and comb it well. If your hair gets tangled while dry-curling hair with a roll brush, don't panic because it's not difficult to untangle it. You can check it on the recommended video above. The point of the dry-curling with a roll brush is to give enough heat, and cooling it down for enough time. The cooling process is important. Now, cool it down and take it out. We can't miss out the volume on the back, right? Roll it up, heat it up, cool it down, and take the brush out. The drying is finished like this. I'll add some moisture with the oil essence today. That's how the layered cut is finished! It's so refreshing to cut my hair after 3 months. I was a little shocked with the thinning scissor, but overall the scissors from DAISO weren't so bad. The lines got much neater right? The style I did today is the hug layered cut style whose wrapping line is attractive. I hope you cut your hair prettily at home too:) Thank you for watching the video today.!
