Tree Forest Home!!
( Thank you for translating the subtitles ) Today’s protagonist, a straight tree I’ve always wanted to create a forest layout, but it was hard to find straight driftwood I got lucky at an interior shop and found exactly what I wanted :) First put a screen to the back of the tank Think of the tank as a glass ruler and cut~!! I’ll do a test layout Too many trees ^^;;; I think it’s better to remove a few trees and make the back a slope I’ll prepare a filter medium to use as a base I’ll use the filter medium as the base shape I’ll fill it up with soil I’m going to cut the part sticking out of the tank I’m going to put the small trees in the back after gluing them to the stone. I think this way is more secure and convenient This time, I used small stones for this layout When i finished, I was a little regretful I didn’t use one or two big stones as a focus or bigger rocks to express what I wanted Foundation is done :) I’m going to use white sand to make a path in the middle I’ll use a tissue to set a path for the water it prevents sand particles from falling down to the bottom White sand path is complete! I didn’t have a plant but I think this would suit the flowing water I made hole and filled them with soil When I finish I like the look of the wood pillars so I’m not adding plants I’ll remove the sawdust and foreign matter There’s a lot of sawdust after I drilled the hole. I’ll plant some plants now This time I’m going to plant them in large chunks instead of cutting them into smaller pieces I’m following along with overseas materials, but I’m a little worried if the plants will grow ^^;; Foreground plants done :) I’ll wrap it up and let the glue dry for a while. 3 hours later I’ll prepare the background plants I will use I’ll pick up the floating bits I’ll remove the remaining dust with a skimmer It’s hard to place because it’s a mini tank It’s convenient to use a skimmer :) I haven’t prepared the filter, so I’ll use the skimmer for a few days Setting complete :) DAY - 5 It’s a little early but I’ll put the otocinclus in It’s kind of like a cicada :) Oto move complete I also installed an external filter DAY - 17 Thanks to the otocinclus there’s no sludge on the wood DAY -20 The moss is getting bad so I’ll clean it and add shrimp after. I’ll remove the foriegn matter and dirt with a water change I already put food in so they've all gathered :) Shrimp family completely moved in :) i’m gonna use a moss remover DAY - 37 Now, if feels like a real forest of trees Oto is working hard today too :) After the moss stabilized, the plants are starting to have runners Perhaps It’s about time for a trimming. Thank you for watching
