pastor george today's message i unless the holy spirit changes it's so strong it's something you really need to hear today and i want to encourage all of you outside in the lobby if you haven't to vote and get involved in this election so many changes this has been a year of change amen amen listen so many things all right i want to call up uh pastor brian and uh jonathan where you guys at come on up here real quick since we're behind time we're gonna real quickly talk about what happened this past week well this week we went back down to lake charles with a team of of nine volunteers uh we got to tarp the roofs of about four partners uh we we cut trees out of their yard got debris out of the yard piled it up to where the authorities will come by and pick that up later on but you know the biggest thing that took place was the ministry you know last week i talked about everything we do we do for our partners is what brother copeland said and one of the one of the buildings that we went to one of the homes the the man's actually displaced he's in new orleans right now but as they were cutting the things out of his house they had to go inside the back of his house and they found a book and they'll put it up in just a second but it says we're here for you and it's the kenneth copeland partnership book that was laying there underneath the debris as they clean these things up and that's exactly what this ministry is about but you know the highlight of what took place was the week before as we as the team was there we were praying with uh dave and dorothy broussard at their new church we were praying we were praying we were praying and you know something came up in my spirit and it was a lighthouse and so after the prayer was over i said you know a lighthouse came up in my spirit and in my mind all i could see is that that the church was going to be a lighthouse in that community but we actually found out exactly what that meant this week as we went to a ministry that was for unwed and teen mothers we showed up and we started working and people had told her that she was that they were going to be there to help and they never showed up but when we showed up the lord quickened my spirit hey you remember that prayer you remember that lighthouse the ministry's name was lighthouse ministries we were actually getting our assignment the week before in prayer that's how important prayer is when we show up to do things for the spirit the spirit will lead us to where we need to be it's just it's just amazing if you want to volunteer pastor brian is god this morning how many of y'all are excited to worship the lord with your giving today amen amen well i have a very simple message for you today and that is this you are an heir amen amen if you were here last sunday you heard my husband hold in he talked about this concept of seedtime and harvest and how seeds reproduce after their own kind and he read probably the most famous verse in the world john 3 16 it says for god so greatly and dearly prized the world that he even gave up his only son and so here we see that principle in action god sowed a son not so he could reap servants but so he could reap many sons and daughters he so loved you that he sacrificed jesus to to bring you into the kingdom in hebrews chapter 2 verse 10 and the passion it says that god made jesus the pioneer of our salvation perfect through his sufferings for this is how he brings many sons and daughters to share in his glory and as i was praying about this message this morning i was reading that scripture and i was thinking about what does it mean to be a son what does it mean to be a daughter and i was reminded of this verse in galatians chapter four verses 4 through 7 it says but when that era came to an end and the time of fulfillment had come god sent his son born of a woman born under the written law yet all of this was so that he would redeem and set free all those held hostage to the written law so that we would receive our freedom and a full legal adoption as his children and so that we would know for sure that we are his true children god released the spirit of sonship into our hearts moving us to cry out intimately my father you're our father now glory to god we're no longer living like slaves under the law but we enjoy being god's very own sons and daughters and because we're his we have access to everything our father has for we are heirs of god through jesus the messiah and i love that scripture i feel like i could just stop right there because that gets me so stirred up but i was thinking about that what it says that we have been given a full legal adoption and as i was thinking about that i was reminded of something that happened in my own family in the fall of 2017 my parents adopted two little girls into our family and to make a long story very short they were neglected they were exposed to things they should have never been exposed to as children but god and it's amazing when you look at what happens in an adoption because most people know when you're adopted your last name changes but so many other things change not only did my sisters receive a new last name they received new social security numbers my parents names were put on their birth certificates and most importantly they received full access to everything that belongs to my parents and so i love that because in an instant when nothing seemed to change and how they look nothing seemed to change in one single moment of time everything about their lives completely changed and i'm here to tell you this morning when you were adopted into the kingdom of light in a single moment in time everything about your life changed everything about your life was transformed you were dead and now you're alive you were sick and now you're healed you weren't bound and now you're set free you were addicted and now you're delivered you were broke and now you have been given access to the riches and glory of christ jesus so what does this have to do with our offering today let me tell you you have full access to your father's heavenly bank account you've been adopted as sons and daughters we give as sons and daughters glory to god everybody say there's more where that came from amen there's more so you can sow in faith knowing that you have access to is is i see david get a good breath and sing to yourself and say to me father we pray honor you glorify you today we thank you for the living breathing word of god and we pray over our nation lord we pray over the elections that are coming up and we thank you father for giving us this opportunity to be aware and to know exactly what to do in this election thank you for the leadership of the holy spirit today in jesus name we pray amen and amen go ahead and be seated if you would please open your bibles this morning to proverbs chapter 29 in proverbs chapter 29 as you're turning there again i'd like to address all of the ministers that are watching these notes will be available to you this afternoon or tomorrow most likely and the lord has just really had it on my heart that ministers need to speak up about biblical values where this upcoming election is concerned this upcoming election and you know we've said this for years but this truly is the most important election that we've ever faced the divide between parties is greater than ever and what we have to use is the word of the living god as our platform in what we believe and where we stand and i encourage pastors and ministers to be bold about this talk to your congregations about it and reveal to them these truths and that's why i'm making these notes available to you so that you'll be able to share these with your congregation as well so in proverbs chapter 29 it says when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice but when the wicked rule the people mourn it was on september 22 of 2012 in a conversation that i was having with brother copeland about the upcoming election in that year brother copeland by the inspiration of the spirit of god began to speak to me and gave me an assignment an assignment which i have carried out through the years and i'm continued to carrying out now and he said george you need to take the two political platforms and preach on those points look at what the two parties say about a particular issue compare the two platforms to god's word and determine which platform best allah aligns with how the kingdom of god operates so once again i've taken the same notebooks that i've had since 2012 but i've filled them with the current platforms of the republican party and the democratic party and i've been studying them and i've been reading them and i've been comparing them to what the word of god says to us brother copeland said that day make it really clear that a platform is something that you stand on the platform planks represent the individual issues you are standing on the whole stage to vote for that platform is to attach yourself to it and partake of the judgment of that platform you could vote for that person for some other reason but if they're an abortionist you are an accomplice there's no way out of it just because you did it for some other reason doesn't get you off the hook this is very serious this is extremely serious and we need to know and we need to understand what the living word of god says about these things now it has been said that nobody pays attention to the platforms there are people that put them together but none of the politicians really do pay attention to what's said in those platforms well as the years have gone by those platforms have become more and more and more important first of all god knows what is on those platforms he has read them and he will hold us accountable to them secondly they were written by we the people people that are representatives from every state in the union and from the abundance of their hearts the parties speak what they believe you'll find in these two platforms and it is what they are going to push to accomplish over the next four years which will have long-term impacts on our nation and the nations thirdly politics politicians will be making their decisions on and behalf based upon the platform that they embrace and that they stand on brother copeland said this by the word of the lord tell my people wherever you go those who vote for politicians knowing their immoral policies and platforms in illegal acts had better repent they are partners with those politicians and will be responsible for every baby's death you've taken the devil's part by not voting at all i will say that the lord hold you responsible for voting for whom i tell you to vote and you can't get out of it by not voting i'll hold you responsible for voting for the wrong one if you do that some are saying that they just won't vote actually you just did you are still an accomplice because you knew about a crime and you did nothing to stop it so over these coming weeks we are going to be looking at those issues which are extremely important to us issues that really lay out what these parties stand for this is not a popular popularity contest election this is based on beliefs and based on what people are going to be voting for and voting towards and endeavoring to change a culture or to bring it around to a biblical value you and i are responsible as the church to not only vote but to take a stand for biblical values so what i did on this first one today that we're going to look at is i believe one of the if not most important topic that we can talk about and that is abortion it's abortion and i've spent quite a bit of time reviewing what the democrat platform says and what the republican platform says so i'm going to go through this with you certainly in the time frame that we have i can't go over everything that is said there but i will cover enough material that you will be able to make a decision a a a knowledgeable educated decision on which direction you'll go so where does the democrat party stand on abortion on page 32 of their party platform democrats are considered to protecting they're committed to protecting and advancing reproductive health rights and justice we believe unequivocally like the majority of americans that every woman should be able to access high quality reproductive health care services including safe and legal abortion we will repeal the title 10 domestic gag rule and restore federal funding for planned parenthood which provides vital and preemptive and pre-productive health care for millions to people especially low-income people people of color and lgbtq plus people including included in undeserved areas now they're talking about excuse me repealing the title 10 domestic gag rule and i took the time to reach this research this because i feel like it's important it's important for you and i not to just skip over these things but what does that mean what does title 10 gag rule mean well in 2019 the 9th circuit federal appeals court ruled in favor of allowing the trump administration to enforce the title 10 rule banning taxpayer monies for facilities that perform a refer for abortions the what is called protect life rule forbids grant recipients from using the funds to quote promote perform refer to or support abortion as a method of family planning that's what the title 10 rule gag rule is now on page 32 democrats oppose and will fight to overturn federal and state laws that create barriers to reproductive health and rights we will repeal the hyde amendment and protect and codify the right to reproductive freedom again and i'll stop here for just a moment and some people might be wondering why is he preaching on these political things they have nothing to do with the bible or church oh you're absolutely wrong they have everything to do everything to do so the height amendment democrats are wanting to repeal the high demand what is the height amendment in 1976 the height alignment amendment was a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds for abortion except to save the life of the woman or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape the 2016 democrat platform marked the first time the party included an explicit call to repeal the hyde amendments in its platform on page 82 democrats will always protect sexual and reproductive health and rights we believe that comprehensive health services including access to reproductive care and abortion services are vital to the empowerment of women and girls we will support the repeal of the global gag rule also known as the mexico city policy and measures like the helm's amendment which limits safe access to abortion well first of all we have to look at this global gag rule the medical medi mexico city policy and then the helms amendment which the democrats want to repeal first of all the global gag rule is a u.s government policy that blocks u.s federal funding for non-governmental organizations that provide abortion counseling or referrals advocate to decriminalize abortion or expand abortion services it certifies that these ngos will not perform or actively promote abortion as a method of family planning with non-us funds as a condition for receiving u.s global family planning assistance funds this policy was first implemented in 1994 by the reagan administration since that time the rule has been in effect during all republican administrations it has been rescinded at the direction of all democratic administrations the rule was rescinded reinstated rather on january 23 2017 the monday following president donald trump's inauguration now the helms amendment the helm's amendment to the foreign assistance act is a 1973 amendment it was passed by the u.s congress in the wake of the roe v wade decision by the united states supreme court to limit the use of u.s foreign assistance for abortion the amendment states that no foreign assistance funds may be used to pay for the performance of abortion as a method of family planning or to motivate or coerce any person to practice abortions in addition this amendment overturned previous rulings that state that the unborn child is not a person yet and therefore does not have constitutional rights changing the stance on abortion not only in funding but also in the courts so that is in a nutshell where the democrat party stands where abortion is concerned where does the republican party stand on abortion pages 13 and 14 the constitution's guarantee that no one can quote be deprived of life liberty or property unquote deliberately echoes the declaration of independence proclamation that all are endowed by their creator with the inalienable right to life accordingly we assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed we support a human life amendment to the constitution and legislation to make clear that the 14th amendment's protections apply to children before birth we oppose the use of public funds to perform or promote abortion or to fund organizations like planned parenthood so long as they provide provide or refer to elective abortions or sell fetal body parts rather than provide health care we urge all states and congress to make it a crime to acquire transfer or sell fetal tissues from elective abortions for research and we call on congress to enact a ban on any sale of fetal bodil body parts in the meantime we call on congress to ban the practice of misleading women on so-called fetal harvesting consent forms a fact revealed by a 2015 investigation we will not fund health care that includes abortion coverage it continues page 13 and 14 we support the appointment of judges who respect traditional family values and the sanctity of human life we affirm our moral obligation to assist rather than penalize women who face an unplanned pregnancy in order to encourage women who face an unplanned pregnancy to choose life we support legislation that requires financial responsibility for the child to be equally born by both the mother and father upon conception until the child reaches adulthood we celebrate the millions of americans who open their hearts homes and churches to mothers in need and women fleeing abuse we thank and encourage providers of counseling medical services and adoption assistance for empowering women experiencing an unintended pregnancy to choose life we support funding for ultrasound and adoption assistance we salute the many states that now protect women and girls through laws requiring informed consent parental consent waiting periods and clinic regulation i wanted to mention at this point that for many years out of the benevolent fund of eagle mountain international church we have supported mercy ministries by nancy alcorn and mercy ministries is a ministry that takes in these young girls who are pregnant who will not be able to keep their child and be able to take those children and place them in adoptive homes we are thrilled that we can be a part of that with nancy alcorn as a church we applaud the u.s house of representatives for leading the effort to add enforcement to the born alive infant protection action plan or act by passing the born alive abortion survivors protection act which imposes appropriate civil and criminal penalties on health care providers who fail to provide treatment and care to an infant who survives an abortion this includes early induction delivery whether the death of the infant is intended we strongly oppose infanticide over a dozen states have passed pain-capable unborn child protection acts prohibiting abortion after 20 weeks the point at which current medical research shows that unborn babies can feel excruciating pain during abortions and we call on congress to enact the federal version not only is it good legislation but it enjoys the support of a majority of the american people we support state and federal efforts against the cruelest forms of abortion especially dismemberment abortion procedures in which unborn babies are literally torn apart limb from limb what is this pain capable bill it's a congressional bill that would in most cases make it unlawful to perform an abortion if the estimated post fertilization age of the fetus is 20 weeks or more the bill is based upon the assertion that a fetus is capable of feeling pain during an abortion at and after that point in a pregnancy in the legislative findings section the bill states that pain receptors quote are present throughout the unborn child's entire body that quote nerves like these receptors to the brain's thalamus and subcordial plate by no later than 20 weeks after fertilization and that anesthesia is routinely administered to fetuses undergoing fetal surgery thus supporting the conclusion that fetuses feel pain the act has become known as micah's law because of micah pickering a boy from iowa who was born prematurely at 22 weeks gestation in 2012 and he survived he appeared in a 2016 election advertisement criticizing hillary clinton's support for legal abortion after 20 weeks gestation the pain-capable unborn child protection act was first introduced by congress in 2013. it successfully passed the house of representatives in 2013 2015 and 2017. the bill has twice received a majority of votes in the senate but has failed to reach the 60 votes required to break a filibuster and finally page 37 we support the right of parents to consent to medical treatment for their minor children and urge enactment of legislation that would require parental consent for their daughters to be transported across state lines for abortions we call for a permanent ban on federal funding and subsidies for abortion and health care plans that include abortion coverage so what we did is we took the time to read and find out what the democrat platform says about abortion and what the republican platform says about abortion now where does the bible stand on abortion you might want to read write these scriptures down if you don't get the notes but these are just a few of the scriptures where the bible stands where abortion is concerned and life that is in the womb and how important that is it says in deuteronomy 30 19 i call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you that i have set before you life and death blessing and cursing therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live in proverbs 6 verses 16 through 19 there are six things that the lord hates seven that are detestable to him haughty eyes a lying tongue hands that shed innocent blood a heart that devises wicked schemes feet that are quick to rush to evil a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers note that it says hands that shed innocent blood psalm 139 verses 13-16 you made all the delicate inner parts of my body and you knit me together in my mother's womb thank you for making me so wonderfully complex your workmanship is marginal marvelous how well i know it you watched me as i was being formed in utter seclusion as i was woven together in the dark of the womb you saw me before i was born every day of my life was recorded in your book every moment was laid out before a single day had passed isaiah 44 2 this is what the lord says he who made you who formed you in the womb and who will help you isaiah 46 3 listen to me o house of jacob all you who remain of the house of israel you who i have upheld since you were conceived and have carried since you were birthed jeremiah 1 5 before i formed you in the womb i knew you before you were set before you were born i set you apart i appointed you as a prophet to the nations psalm 22 31 they will proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn it says in psalm 78 5-6 he decreed statutes for jacob and established the law in israel which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children so the next generation would know them even the children yet to be born and they in turn will tell their children ecclesiastes 11 5 as you know not what is the way of the wind or how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a pregnant woman even so you know not the work of god who does all this takes place at six weeks in the womb and finally luke 1 41 when elizabeth heard mary's greeting the baby leaped in her womb and elizabeth was filled with the holy spirit so we've seen today where the republican party stands where the democrat party stands and where the bible stands where abortion is concerned this must turn around this murder must stop and i believe that just laying this out to you today today is enough to make the right decision there are people who don't like mr trump there are people who don't like mr biden there are people who see this as a personal personality election and that is a very very low way to vote if at all that's why we have to be educated that's why pastors have to come into their pulpits and do what i've done with you this morning and lay this out clearly definitively on what these two platforms stand for and what the bible stands for you may not like president trump's tweets or how he acts or what he says or you may not like pres or joe biden vice president president joe biden and how he acts or what he does but you have to look at the broader scope in the broader scale you've got to look at the big picture of this and what this means for our future and what it means for our children we have to think about our children and we have to let our children know that that which is inside the womb of a woman is not a blob it's not a tissue it is a living human being that has a calling from god on their lives and who desires to be born and to be brought into this world i want us to receive communion this morning over this and there's something specific that i want to say during this communion so ushers if you would please pass out the communion elements musicians if you would make your way to the platform and i was praying over this and praying over our nation early this morning pastor terry sent me a scripture that she was reading she sent it to me from the the passion translation then i looked at it from the new living translation the abortion has to stop and we have to learn how to connect the dots there are things going on in our nation right now and it's crazy it's crazy we find ourselves in a place dealing from since march with this covet issue and every time something like that happens every time we're seeing things like that even where california is concerned i took the time yesterday just to look up the map of california to see where all the fires are there those aren't by chance things are happening hurricanes trying to attack there's a connection to that and every time these things happen you know one of the things that terry and i talk about is when when these things are happening and we'll talk about this further on in this discussion but we ask ourselves what is our government doing to israel now what are they planning we may not see things that are overt but there are things going on behind the scenes and i'll just throw this in here to you where israel is concerned do not divide do not divide that nation do not divide that city there are consequences and we've seen it over the years over and over and over again again hurricane katrina you can trace that you can trace that to giving up the gaza strip and people don't realize that i mean there there are there are william koenig has written books about the made a study of that all of these connections to all of those things that are going on and there's a connection where abortion is concerned and you and i have to take a stand we must take our stand and pastor terry sent me this scripture which i'll read to you from the new living translation talk instead it says they mingled among pagans and adopted their evil customs there are evil customs that are being developed and created right now that you and i need to maintain what the bible says because we don't want to open ourselves up to the curse they worship their idols which led to their downfall they even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons they shed innocent blood by the blood of their sons and daughters by sacrificing them to the idols of canaan they polluted the land with murder they defiled themselves by their evil deeds and their love of idols was adultery in the lord's sight that's why the lord's anger burned against his people and he abhorred his own special possession he handed them over to pagan nations and they were ruled by those who hate them their enemies crushed them and brought them under their cruel power again and again he rescued them but they chose to rebel against him and they were finally destroyed by their sin even so he pitied them in their distress and listened to their cries he remembered his covenant with them and he relented because of his his unfailing love he even caused their captors to treat them with kindness save us o lord our god gather us back from among the nations so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you i'm declaring that the united states of america is is a nation of righteousness before god and the church is taking their stand the church is taking their stand i want us to take communion over this not only the abortion issue and this is what the lord put in my heart to say there may be some of you in here and this is for a man and a woman and maybe you had an abortion maybe several or and this is what the lord spoke to my heart maybe you've miscarried those of you who are here those who are who are watching and the emotional effect the emotional effects of that and sometimes you hear a message like this and that shame that horror that haunting voice tries to keep coming back to you maybe that's something that you did long ago before you knew jesus as your lord maybe you did it after after but this is what the lord said to me he said to me this for any and and it affects the woman as much as it affects a man but any woman that has had an abortion and comes before the throne of god and just clearly repents and asks forgiveness there's something that'll happen to you emotionally something that will take place because that's when forgiveness becomes so real in our lives the washing away by the blood of jesus and something else the lord said to me was this that and i've been thinking about heaven not that i'm going anytime soon but i just think about it and i think about who's there and i think about who i'm going to see and how wonderful it is going to be and the lord ministered to me this in prayer as i was studying this that your your son or daughter is there and they'll come running to you and everything will be okay everything will be okay there's such a connection between here in heaven it's amazing there's someone and i won't name the name but there's someone that i had admired for many years and we ran into some difficulties with each other and towards the end it wasn't good he finally passed away and it hurt my heart and i had a dream and i so appreciate dreams from the lord i was in heaven he and his wife were there and his wife said told him step out and he stepped out and he looked at me and he said we're good you and i are good everything's all right and that really helped me it really blessed me and so your child will run up to you and hug you because when when when these children go to heaven and i i know this is kind of stepping out there but when our children go to heaven like that people will talk about how well their their life is cut short they're not going to finish what they're supposed to do uh-uh no they will in heaven there's work going on in heaven there's a lot of activity that's taking place there they're helping us cloud of witnesses helping us run the race that we have here so they'll come running up and there won't be any we need to sit down and talk this through there won't be any we got to work it out there won't be any how come you did that not at all not at all because right now in heaven they're good with you they're good where where the idea of a miscarriage is concern they're there they're growing they're fulfilling their plan it's amazing and there are some women who have multiple miscarriages well you've got multiple children in heaven who are waiting for you so that's a couple of the things that i wanted us to receive communion together over this morning would you stand with me please father in the name of jesus we come before you on this issue where abortion is concerned lord we will i will i will support a party that is for life i will support a party that wants to bring children into this world and to let them live and lord we thank you that we can speak what we believe and we can speak especially what your word says we are declaring the turnaround of all of this and that we are experiencing the new birth of our nation the new birth of our nation now father i pray over every woman over every man that has experienced the pain of abortion and lord you showed me for them that that child is growing and loves their mother and father loves them because the atmosphere of heaven is absolutely charged with the love of god and i thank you even where miscarriages are concerned children are there children are there and i thank you for the healing the healing of their emotions the healing of their soul and the joy of the lord that is rising up from within them right now and we settle this we settle it together in this congregation and with those that are watching we receive the body of the lord jesus christ and thank you thank you for the body that makes us well and whole in every way in jesus name father we lift the cup of the covenant before you the blood of jesus that washes us cleanses us that we can come before him with forgiveness forgive us lord for not doing more about this issue forgive us father for whatever we have done and as we receive the blood of jesus there is something so miraculous that takes place on the inner soul of a man and a woman children lord that just transforms the medical sphere and realm we receive the washing of the blood in jesus name thank you lord thank you jesus thank you jesus oh how he loves you and me oh how he loves you and me he gave his life what more could he give oh how he loves you oh how he loves me oh how he loves my time in unison you and me oh how he loves you he loves you and me put your hand over your heart right now david sing that again and just receive that receive that for whatever is happening in your life right now receive the love of the father if it's the abortion issue if that's something that you have dealt with and and miscarriages just lay your hands on your heart right now and begin to receive the loving the lovingkindness of the father into you oh thank you jesus oh how my life you are my lord you are my savior in jesus name i got to lead somebody to the lord last week i'm like a magnet and i was at the gas station and there was a guy on a bicycle and i saw him when i drove in and i thought to myself i think i'm going to be talking to him and i got out started to get gas in my car and uh he i turned around there he was and he started telling me about an operation that he was going to have a situation in his body and and i just took his hand i said what's your name he said james i said james have you ever made jesus the lord of your life he said well when i was a kid i got baptized in church and that's about it i said your life's about to change and i got to lead him to the lord pray the prayer of salvation pray over his body i gave him some money he said i've been living with my sister because i've not been able to work i said well you go home and you tell your sister there was a man that prayed for you today and that you accepted jesus as the lord of your life i looked at him i said how old are you and he said i'm 67. i said so am i i said you and i are the same age he said i was born in march when were you born i was born in july he said i'm older than you i said you're my older brother we embraced and he rode his bicycle off into the distance his life has changed and many lives are going to be changed in our nation because we're going to see such an outpouring of the holy spirit like we've never seen before can you give god praise and glory and honor thank you lord pastor bobby if you would come and give the people instruction if they lake charles uh we stayed in dave and dorothy broussard's house we're partnering with mainline church which they started we were able to go and tarp about four roofs on houses we cut trees off of about three of those houses even got to go to the neighbor's yard and cut some trees away from their houses they're scrolling tree uh pictures that just show everything that we were doing but as we were cutting one of the the trees inside of a house they found some debris in there and it had a booklet and they'll put it on the screen here in just a second it says we're here for you it's a partnership book from kenneth copeland ministries and that's exactly what this what this ministry is about we're here for you you know brother copeland i said it last week he said everything we do we do for our partners and that's exactly what we're out doing you know and last week as we were there we were praying with dave and dorothy at their new church and just in my spirit i saw a lighthouse as we were praying and you know in my mind all i could think about was they were going to be a lighthouse in the community as as this devastation was going through and they were there helping but you know this week as we showed up onto a property that we went to help as friends of theirs for teen and unwed mothers we showed up in the lord you know quickened in my spirit hey the lighthouse well it just so happened to be lighthouse ministries is where we showed up you know and in prayer the week before you know we got our assignment for the following week to go bring hope to the hopeless and that's exactly what we did so pastor gene it's one thing to make calls and check on our partners it's another thing to send money which we do we help other ministries operation blessing samaritan purse other ministries but it's another thing to send people and when we show up at these partners houses e-members and friends and they light up and say we're here to help and and so actually you can well it is time for us to worship the lord with our giving today now if you were here last sunday my husband holden did the offering and he talked about one of the most popular verses known around the world and that's john 3 16. and it says this for god so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that he even gave up his only begotten son now we know that every seed that we sow reproduces after its own kind and so we know that because god sowed his son he doesn't reap servants he doesn't reap slaves but he reaps many sons and many daughters into the kingdom to share in his glory to be partakers of his inheritance glory to god and hebrews chapter 2 in verse 10 it says god made him talking of jesus pioneer of our salvation perfect through his sufferings for this is how he brings many sons and daughters to share in his glory and as i was preparing for this message this morning as i was praying and i began to think about what it means to be sons and daughters and i was reminded of this passage in galatians chapter four starting in verse four i'm reading out of the passion it says but when that era came to an end and the time of fulfillment had come god sent his son born of a woman born under the written law yet all of this was so that he would redeem and set free all those held hostage to the written law so that we would receive our freedom and a full legal adoption as his children and so that we would know for sure that we are his true children god released the spirit of sonship into our hearts moving us to cry out intimately my father you're our true father now we're no longer living glory to god like slaves under the law but we enjoy being god's very own sons and daughters and because we're his we can have access to everything our father has for we are heirs of god through jesus the messiah and i feel like i could just end my offering message right there with that verse that gets me so stirred up because we are heirs of god but as i began to to pray about this passage of scripture more something stood out to me it says that we have been given a full legal adoption and as i began to think about what that means i was actually reminded of something that happened in my own family i think they're going to put up a picture in the fall of 2017 my family adopted two little girls out of the foster care system and to make a very long story short they were neglected they were exposed to things they should have never been exposed to but god amen and when they were adopted you know most people know that when you're adopted your last name changes but what i think a lot of people don't realize is when you're adopted everything changes not only did their last name change but their social security numbers changed my parents names are listed on their birth certificates and most importantly what changed is they were given full access to everything that belongs to my father and so in a moment of time just a single instant a single moment even when things didn't look any different they were completely changed their lives were completely transformed and i'm here to tell you this morning when you were adopted into the kingdom of light in an instant everything about your life changed in an instant everything was made new in an instant everything was restored you were dead and now you're alive you were sick and now you're healed you were bound and addicted and now you're set free you were chained and now you're delivered glory to god you were broke and now you have access to the riches of glory in christ jesus so many of you say what does this have to do with my giving this morning i'll tell you what it has to do with your giving you are an heir of a very very very big inheritance the inheritance of your father you have been adopted into his kingdom and you have full access to your heavenly bank account you have full access to everything that your father has everything that jesus died for you to have you have access because of his son because of what jesus did because god sowed a seed and so i want to encourage you this morning as you give as you sow your seeds don't sow as servants don't sow as slaves so as sons so as daughters knowing with confidence that as you give there is more where that came from amen everybody say there's more where that came from glory to god well if you're giving this morning by cash pray over these upcoming elections we realize and understand that these elections that we are facing right now are pivotal for the future of our nation and the future of our lives and we trust you in them lord and we will do our part we will vote we will study we will be educated on what to do and we thank you and honor you for the church the rising up of the church i pray for the pastors and the ministers that they would be free to be able to declare the things from their platforms that they need to declare in order to bring revelation to your people we thank you and thank you and praise you in jesus name for this time together amen and amen open your bibles to proverbs chapter 29. proverbs chapter 29 and we are going to continue today on what we began last week last week i was talking to you but also to ministers that were watching us that ministers should have the right to speak and to educate their congregations on the issues that we face in this nation there is no separation from this election the things that you and i believe and stand for and we need to understand that and we need to understand this scripture in proverbs chapter 29 this is so important when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice but when the wicked rule the people mourn there's so much to say about that one verse of scripture right there when the righteous and we believe for righteous people to be in office in this nation we are in agreement together that in washington dc washington d.c is a city of righteousness it is the city of god we need to change our declaration change our confession about that it's not a place of corruption it's a place where prayer takes place where the word of god is preached and there are people who are hungry in office hungry to serve serve the nation serve the people and serve the almighty god so when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice there's great rejoicing when the wicked rule and we're talking about from the very top to the least office that there is when the wicked rule the people mourn that sense of mourning is a sense of loss and so we have the opportunity right now as this election approaches us and it's right around the corner it's closer than you think and we have to be in a place where we understand especially where the democrat party and the republic party republican party stand and that's why since 19 or since 2012 when i had a conversation with brother copeland we were approaching the election of 2012. i was over at their house he and i were talking about the election and brother copeland gave me an assignment which i have been faithful to ever since 2012. he said george you need to take the two political platforms and preach on those points so these are the actual books that i bought back in 2012 the the democratic the republican and contained in these two books are the platforms the current platforms of these parties i have been reading them i have been studying them i've been educating myself on what these platforms say so brother copeland said to me he said look at what the two parties say about a particular issue compare the two platforms to god's word this this is our party platform this is what we base our decisions on and this is what we base our nation upon compare the two platforms to god's word determine which platform best aligns with how the kingdom of god operates you need to know that you need to be aware of that you need to be aware of what these platforms say take the time go online print them out read them study them highlight them become educated in these things he said make it really clear that a platform is something that you stand on and the planks represent the individual issues and we're going to be talking about individual issues as in these upcoming weeks that we are together we'll talk about some of the issues that are particularly important to you and me for instance one of the issues that we're going to be talking about is israel and where does the democratic party stand and where does the republican party stand where israel is concerned one thing we know we not we cannot divide up the land we can't do that there are very dangerous things that happens to the nation that begins to divide the land of israel that land is god's land you start messing with that and you open yourself up to the curse case in point the gaza strip land for peace they gave up the gaza strip they had to move people out of the gaza strip they had to relocate people well just some weeks before the hurricane katrina took place all of this about the gaza strip was being developed it was being pressured israel was being pressured to do that and they finally did it they finally did it and so we had before hurricane katrina we had people that were being relocated from the gaza strip they were having to be relocated to other places because the palestinians were moving in shortly thereafter katrina hit and then we found ourselves in a place where people were having to relocate and go to another place you open the door to the curse when you disobey the law of god's word we don't want to do that and that's why i'm up here shaking my hands like this getting this across to you because it is so important this election is crucial i would dare say it is the most crucial election that we've ever faced because the moral foundation of our nation is being undermined and attacked we're stepping out into areas and things that we've never seen before things that that are devil inspired it's his last stand before the coming of the lord jesus christ and the church needs to rise up and the church needs to take her place and the pastors and the ministers need to speak up and speak out unashamed to declare the truth from their platforms brother copeland told me that day that the platform planks represent the individual issues and that those planks make up a stage underneath this carpet there are probably planks and they're all connected together and he said to vote for that platform is to attach yourself to it and partake of the judgment of that platform the judgment of the platform this is serious business with god the judgment of the platform he said you could vote for a person for some other reason but if they are an abortionist you are an accomplice to murder powerful statement very powerful statement to vote for that platform is to attach yourself to it and partake of the judgment of the platform you could vote for that person for some other reason but if they are an abortionist you are an accomplice he said there's no way out of it just because you did it for some other reason doesn't get you off the hook very strong words you know where these party platforms are concerned i've heard this said before nobody pays attention to these nobody reads these well let me give you a few statements again in my conversation with brother copeland that day first of all god knows what is in those platforms he knows he knows because he's read them you mean to tell me that god has read the republican and democratic platform he has he's even read the independent and libertarian as well he knows he knows and he will hold us accountable that's why i'm so emphatic about this that's why i'm so passionate about this he will hold us accountable for it secondly they were written by we the people people people wrote those representatives from every state of the union and from the abundance of their hearts the parties speak the parties talk the parties write what they believe and thirdly politicians will make their decisions on our behalf based upon the platform that they embrace and the platform that they stand on the platform these platforms are the driving agenda for all legislation and like i said before people have said well nobody reads that nobody reads these platforms i would say that these platforms of 2020 are the most read the mo the the plan of the democratic platform and the democ the republican platform it has come to a place where there is a divide there is definitely a divide and there's been a difference from the last time i read it in 2016 we were about here now we're right here a major divide and you can read as i've read both of these i can hear the passion in these people and i also hear it from the spokesman i hear it from president trump i hear it from vice taken we cannot lose that ground and the issue that i'm going to talk to you about today just one just one issue and that is the issue of abortion brother copeland said it in the word from the lord that he was given that there will be an accomplice to murder where abortion is concerned and this word from the lord that he received he said tell my people wherever you go those who vote for politicians knowing their immoral policies and platforms and illegal acts had better repent they are partners with those politicians and will be responsible for every baby's death you have taken the devil's part by not voting at all so this should help those of you and those of you that may be saying to yourselves i don't like either of them i'm not going to vote well by not voting you've already voted you've already voted and you'll be responsible for what the results of that would be now we're encouraging everybody in the state of texas to make sure that you are registered to vote and october 3rd is the registration deadline we've got cards out in the lobby that you can pick up fill them out send them in and get registered to vote as i've told you before when i go vote that is a time that i i am able as pastor george pearsons a citizen of the united states of america have the right to go into that voting booth and let my vote be heard to let my say be said and to take the time to worship and praise god i spent a lot of time in that booth because i count it as a noble right of mind to be able to do that to do that in this country so you better believe i'm going to go vote i'm going in there and i'm going to pray and stand in faith for my nation but talking about the abortion issue today we need to know we need to know what these platforms say what do they believe and you need to know that those who are in the leadership positions embrace these platforms they believe these platforms now we as the body and i'm speaking about ministers pastors in particular we we need to remind them of what they said we need to keep that before them and we need to be encouraging you to write to write your senators to write the president to write those that are in authority if something needs to be corrected because you and i have a say in this nation we are citizens of this nation amen and i'm thankful for all of those that are watching us literally all over the world right now you play such a part in this in praying for us and standing with us where the united states of america is concerned first of all abortion what is it when you look at a very simple definition from the dictionary it is the deliberate termination of human pregnancy that is what abortion is and the democratic party has a stand and the republican party has a stand so let me do this with you if you just bear with me on this i want to read to you some of the portions of the democratic republic party and the republican party platforms um it is not all the information that's in there but it gives you at least the overview of what each one of these platforms stands for so in the democrat party democrats are committed to protecting and advancing reproductive health rights and justice we believe unequivocally like the majority of americans that every woman should be able to access high quality reproductive health care services including safe and legal abortion we will repeal the title 10 domestic gag rule and restore federal funding for planned parenthood which provides vital preemitive and reproductive health care for millions of people especially low-income people people of color and l g b t q i a plus people including the undeserved areas so the democrat party believes in abortion they stand for abortion and let me just take a side step for just a moment because we'll deal with this later on but i just read to you lgbt q i a plus we are finding ourselves in a place of serious identity question for a lot of people and it keeps expanding and expanding two years ago facebook facebook had 75 genders that you could choose from they're saying right now there are 90 genders and the plus sign just means there's an infinite you can choose whatever you want to be and it's getting stranger and stranger and stranger lgbtqia lesbian gay bisexual transgender queer or questioning intersex and asexual and then plus now we'll be dealing with that because the democrat party has a lot to say about that term the terminology of those of those areas and it's something that we need to learn about we need to know about because and this is another area that you and i will be talking about because there is an agenda right now afoot where the changing of our books in public schools our concern to add all of this to it it's stunning it's absolutely stunning what the plans are right now infiltrating our public schools and how far down they're going even in california to kindergarten what they're teaching them in kindergarten now i'm not i'm not fully prepared to talk to you about that in in totality today but i've been reading about it studying about it had a long conversation with david barton about it last night and they're putting together some statements for us so that we can share them with you but a lot of people don't know about this they don't know about this because they're school systems that refuse to allow parents to read what is in those books and what is in that curriculum it's serious it's serious so that's why we need to know about this so that we can pray use our faith and take action again it is time for the church to rise up and take their place you in this church alone this church alone in the local area we could absolutely take over the school board we could do it we could do it absolutely do it and that's one of the things that david barton was talking to us about these these are things that i'm having to familiarize myself as a pastor and but one thing that i have done whenever there are elections for school board or anything else i'm there i'm there because when you find any group of people you're going to find an agenda that agenda will be there and that agenda right now where the school board is concerned it has everything to do with our children's future and what they are taught and what they are trained in some of the things that they're talking about for seventh and eighth graders perverted and preposterous at the right time i will bring that to you i will teach you about that we'll learn about it and then we'll learn how to take action concerning it going back to the the platform about abortion it says they'll repeal the title 10 domestic gag rule so what is this title 10 domestic gag rule it's a rule that forbids grant recipients from using funds to perform promote refer to and support abortion as a method of family planning money that's being used for that your money your money my money my tax money being used for these kinds of things i would say that the people of the church need to rise up and they need to be appalled at some of the things that are taking place and let their voices be heard i believe that's one reason for the church i believe the church the church is a place where people are an anointed angry mob if you will the bad guys come into town to take over and they start taking over and they build a saloon and all of the townsfolk are hiding hiding from them i'm talking about a western here and then there's one of the townsfolk that says we're not going to let this go on any longer and they all get pitchforks and they get their torches and in the middle of the night they rise up the angry mob rise up and they make their voices and they run the bad guys out of town i believe that that's a picture of the church i believe it is we walk in love where this is concerned but there is action that we take first action we take is against the devil powers the powers and the principalities behind all of this and that's the advantage that you and i have is to be able to take that authority over it democrats oppose and will fight to overturn federal and state laws that create barriers to reproductive health and rights we will repeal the hyde amendment and protect and codify the right to reproductive freedom now what is the hyde amendment what does that include the hide amendment bars the use of federal funds for abortion except to save the life of the woman or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape the 2016 democrat platform marked the first time the party included an explicit call to repeal the hyde amendment in its platform we believe that comprehensive health services including access to reproductive care and abortion services are vital to the empowerment of women and girls there's much more that these platforms say about abortion but that gives you the sort of the overview more abortion is concerned if we were to take a pop quiz right now the question would be does the democrat party believe in abortion and your answer would be yes they do yes they do well let's take a look at the republican party platform where do they stand where abortion is concerned i'll read several of the points to you the constitution's guarantee that no one can be deprived of life liberty or property deliberately echoes the declaration of independence proclamation that all are endowed by their creator with the inalienable right to life accordingly we assess we assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed we oppose the use of public funds to perform or promote abortion or to fund organizations like planned parenthood so long as they provide or refer for elective abortions or sell fetal body parts rather than provide health care we support the appointment of judges who respect traditional family values and the sanctity of innocent human life supreme court justices spaces are coming up what do we want on that court who do we want sitting on that court we affirm our moral obligation to assist rather than to penalize women who face an unplanned pregnancy we celebrate the millions of americans who open their hearts their homes their churches to mothers in need and women fleeing abuse we thank and encourage providers of counseling medical services and adoption assistance for empowering women experiencing an unintended pregnancy to choose life i don't know if you've ever heard of a ministry it was called mercy ministries and we have been supporting it for many many years nancy alcorn is the head of that ministry and one of the things that they do is they take in young girls that are pregnant and will not be able to care for the child they take them in they love them they train them they teach them and then they help place those babies in homes that will love them and care for them nancy alcorn was an activist she was against abortion and one day the lord spoke to her and said you need to do something about it and that's when he gave her the idea to open mercy ministries to take care of these girls and so we've been supporting her we actually have been supporting her since since the beginning of pastor terry and i pastoring the church in 1993 every month every month we send finances to mercy ministries and you are a part of that give god glory hallelujah we applaud the u.s house of representatives excuse me for leading the effort to add enforcement to the born alive infant protection act by passing the born alive abortion survivors protection act which imposes appropriate civil and criminal penalties on health care providers who fail to provide treatment and care to an infant who survives an abortion this includes early induction delivery whether the death of the infant is intended we strongly oppose infanticide infanticide i looked it up a person who kills their own child infanticide over a dozen states have passed the pain-capable unborn child protection acts prohibiting abortion after 20 weeks the point at which current medical research shows that unborn babies can feel excruciating pain during abortions and we call on congress to enact a federal version now the pain-capable unborn child protection act it was introduced to congress in 2013. it successfully passed the house of representatives in 2013 2015 2017 the bill has twice received a majority of votes in the senate but has failed to reach the 60 votes required to break a filibuster so the republican party is pressing to get that done the urgency of this the urgency over 60 million babies going through this horrific experience so now we know where the democrat party stands where the republican party stands why don't we look at where the bible stands on our abortion that's the most important thing here where does the word of god stand where abortion is concerned i'm going to read to you ten scriptures you can write these down these scriptures will empower you actually there's 11 because somebody gave me one in between services but empowers you and we're standing on god's word what is important in all of this is what does he think what does god think and what's important is what he thinks is translation you made all the delicate inner parts of my body you knit me together in my mother's womb there it is right there god knit us together in our mother's womb thank you for making me so wonderfully complex your workmanship is marvelous how well i know it you watched me as i was being formed in utter seclusion and i was woven together in the dark of the womb you saw me before i was today because we got to wave that in front of them you said you said you said have you ever had any of your kids and you said something to them about going to get ice cream or going to go do something and they come back to you say you said you said you said well we can come back to them and said you said you said you said this says this says this says we can get to the point where we are so obnoxious like that it's like that widow woman and the judge persistent faith persistence wears down resistance and we can be just as persistence where these things are concerned whatever party it is we can make our voices heard so this thing's not a popularity contest look at the platform look at the platform and then make those people toe the line where that's concerned i do believe that the church is rising up i was talking to david barton about this yesterday i told him i said david after you came in then i talked this next sunday and i talked about pastors being free to speak what they believe speak what the word of god says about this and then i said i'm beginning the platforms this was yesterday i said tomorrow i'm beginning the platforms he said pastor george he said i'm beginning to notice more and more pastors getting bold for their stand he said there are 3 000 pastors in california they've had it they've had it they've had it with not having church and so there are three thousand three thousand rising up in the midst of all of this there's some crazy stuff going on in california there's some really strange things some things that governor newsom is is voting for and voting on and and and bringing to the table we need to stand with our brothers and sisters in california right now in the name of jesus we pray over all the pastors all the ministers in the state of california we are standing with you we are believing with you we are declaring the word of god over you that california there's a california outpouring and it's already started it's already begun the outpouring of the holy spirit has taken place and there's a freedom in our california church is opening up it's i say it i say it i say it church is opening back up pastor john mcarthur right now taking a stand taking that stand we stand with him in the name of jesus who glory to god so we vote and we vote based on what those platforms say there's more to be said more areas to cover there's also the equality act that we need to talk about and you need to have some details it sounds good sounds nice sounds pretty but have you read the have you read the details have you read all of the things that it includes and how it will impact impact your life and impact my life we'll talk about that i want us to receive communion this morning and receive communion over this and us as if abortion is wrong we know that it is detestable in the sight of god but as i was praying over this message the lord ministers something to me to minister to you two things in particular there are there are women perhaps in this room today that you had an abortion or maybe several there are women that are watching us right now all over the world that maybe you've had an abortion and what i was praying over and praying about was the the emotional strain that that has been the pressure the pressure and the lord told me to tell you several things he told me to tell and not only the women but the men who are involved the men that are a part of that and there are women who have lamented that decision that have felt horrible and it keeps coming up and it keeps coming up and it keeps coming up and the lord said this to me he said first of all the receiving of communion the washing of the blood also washes the soul and it washes the mind and it washes those memories when you receive forgiveness forgiveness is such a powerful thing it is such a powerful thing from god that we are able to receive forgiveness for something that we did before we were saved or maybe even after we were saved and the lord said to me to tell them this your child is in heaven been growing there and fulfilling their calling and when you come to heaven there won't be any we need to sit down and talk this through there won't be any you really hurt me by doing that there won't be there's none of that there it doesn't exist it is a fear-free atmosphere it is an offense free atmosphere it is a forgiveness full atmosphere the atmosphere of heaven itself is pure love love in its purest form and that's what the church is the church is is a a demonstration of heaven on earth the pure love that we are taught and trained in well it is pure it is pure love in heaven and what the lord was saying to me is as a mother in going into heaven your child will run up to you and throw their arms around you mother father and he said the same thing about miscarriages many women have had miscarriages and to some of them it just haunts them what could have been what could have happened what what could it have been and the lord told me to tell you this those children are there too they're there too and they'll be running up to you however many miscarriages there have been one two three five ten you've got a big family you have a big family and the blood of jesus and the body of jesus washes away the hurt the pain the guilt of all of that of all of it and so together today as we receive this i'm expecting a work of the holy spirit in you in you that are watching and the work of the holy spirit in our nation that will turn this around and we will see a righteous nation rise up because we are in the midst of the new birth for the united states of america this is a new birth anew isn't it interesting the word birth it's a new birth for the united states of america people might think it's going down it's going down no it's not it's not as long as the body of christ is here and as long as we as we speak the word of the living god and take our place as the church it ain't going down it's not going down let's all stand together please father in the name of jesus we come before you and i thank you lord for educating us helping us where all of this is concerned our nation we place our nation on the throne on the altar right now before your throne and we thank you lord that the united states of america is a righteous nation the church is rising up and getting stronger and stronger our love for one another is growing our love for people even people who are living lifestyles contrary to the word of god father our love is towards them to see them make jesus christ the lord of their lives for the confusion to dissipate and for clarity of who they are in christ jesus that is liberating that is freedom so lord we receive the body and the blood of the lord jesus and over every woman excuse me every woman here every woman watching if you've been through abortions receive now the love of the father the love of the father because this memory that you have been carrying has calling and when we come into heaven's gates there will be great rejoicing for women who've experienced miscarriages lord i thank you i thank you for living breathing children that are there and those women that that desire to carry a baby lord we release that right now we release that to them right now from heaven oh lord you do miraculous things now where abortion is concerned in this nation i so i brought barbara up and we were whispering she said i was the highest priced call girl in the city of new orleans my husband was my pimp he sold me for outlandish prices i have had an abortion how could i be a sunday school teacher i said my dear i said there is a scripture in the bible that says if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness i said do you believe that she said yes i said have you done that she said yes i said then you're going to be my bible teacher that woman began to teach i have never heard anybody in my life male or female bit beat the job that she did she taught for many years and led scores and hundreds of people to the knowledge of jesus and caused many women who believed in a abortion to repent and change their life i was there the night that she died so from the time she knelt at the altar until she died this woman was a fantastic influence on the body of christ on all the people of the world that she met so if you know someone who has has been filthy and unclean teach them how to repent in the greek language the word metanoia send me is the word we use for repentance you know what it means it means i'm going this way and i turn around and go the other way i've been walking my way and now i'm going to go god's way that's how simple it is to repent and to turn to god teach his sister right now she's helping to take care of him and i told him i said james go tell your sister that somebody prayed for you to com for you to make jesus christ the lord of your life i believe you'll have experiences like that this week yes so what do we do if they need to have prayer for anything anything you need prayer agreement with prayer someone full of faith our altar ministers are
