Emerald Waterways Balcony Cabin Tour

hello and welcome to my panorama balcony suite on emerald Liberty it is cap in three six four as you come into the room you have got loads of space and a massive mirror for checking out your outfit before you go to dinner coming into the room the main thing in here is this huge bed which is wider than I am tall I can lay that way and still have a good I know 20 centimeters it's a really huge bed and super comfortable turning around now to this side you will find loads and loads and loads of storage space in this cabin loads of drawers and cabinets and wardrobe space loads more than you need beginning at this end what you'll find here is this little machine that you need to take when you go on excursions you use your headphones you basically scan a number of the tour you are on and then you'll be able to hear your guide so on Emerald waterways cruises there is an excursion included every day and you'll have a local guide who speaks to you through these magic boxes looking in here there is a mirror if you want to check out your midsection and loads of space for lots of things this is mine you will get one of these if you book an emerald waterways cruise this comes with all of your documents in it your flight information your transfers everything will be in here and you'll get this in the post I think about two weeks before your cruise so that was cool loads of space here a book which has everything you could ever need to know about emerald waterways in it everything on this side we've got the TV the TV is huge and there are loads and those and those movies on their loads and movies we've watched quite a few this is our daily schedule so this is everything that is happening today we are in Leon in France and that is all weather a really good TV you can see a lot of things on there so down here you've got these huge drawers I've pretty much just emptied my entire suitcase into this drawer you almost don't have to unpack just pour everything in there Jonah's got that one I have that one coming on this side we've got more space there is a minibar I never eat from the minibar that menu for the minibar is up there if you did want to eat something but there's so much food on the ship I don't know why you would really need to eat from the minibar on side we've got some more drawers and we also have a safe I like how they're safe works because it pulls out like this and then it is a top opening safe I'm not gonna show you my pin but it opens from the top and you can fit a lot of stuff in there I have my Mac we have an iPad I have my camera loads of things in there that will fit in there quite happily we also have a hair dryer here a really good hair dryer this is not a travel hair dryer this is a proper hair dryer came with the cabin I'm really good definitely do not bring your own hair dryer if you're coming on and World War II screws that is better than my one at home on this side you have got water these are complementary and we are getting through these it is really hot here in France and so we're trying to drink as much water as we can here is the minibar menu I mentioned earlier things aren't actually that crazy price considering its from my minibar but still you might as well just go to the bar up here there is also another show up so if you've got more stuff you can put things up there we don't really have anything up there Jonah's got a bottle of water but that's about it coming onto this side here is the main wardrobe a pretty big wardrobe with loads and loads of coat hangers loads way more than you need if you need it anymore you could just ask your cabinet and they would get you more you don't need to bring your own coat hangers on a cruise up there we have got a bathrobe it didn't come all messed up like that that is me so I mean Joan I've got one of those each there's even things like a shoehorn here some earplugs we haven't needed those it's very quiet on this ship it's brilliant and a washing bag and I don't even know what this is what is this I've no idea Oh a shoe polish sponge of course so down the bottom here this is where I have put all of my shoes there's a lot of space at the bottom of the wardrobe just hide everything behind your clothes and you'll be fine so we're actually kind of in the balcony now this is one of my favorite things about this cabin this space here is the balcony cabin so this is the cabin and this is the balcony at the moment I have got this down just so that it doesn't blind us but if I put it up there's two things on this side you pull one for this point well how about looks gorgeous and then also we've got a black outlines for when you want to go to sleep the coolest thing about this cabin is as I said this is your balcony at the moment this is gasps you're pretty calm rito and this is glass too but we have this magical button here and if we press it this turns into our balcony okay ready let's go so there we have it we are now this is outside this is our balcony you can sit here and you can watch the world go by we are in Leon in France today we're cruising along the Rhone and it has been fantastic absolutely amazing you can sit here and just watch watch the world go by four hours the scenery is fantastic I'm just gonna close that now because it's a little bit louder there all the French traffic okay so you may have already noticed there is another full-length mirror over there which really makes this cabin feel huge I think the floor space of this cabin is about similar to an ocean cabin the only difference really is that it is a square it's not a rectangle but it's a pretty big footprint that bed is huge don't before by thinking there's pretty much only a bed in here because that bed is massive so there's this massive full-length mirror as well here which is cool so it's kind of confusing when you see things come past and then this is a mirror so they're coming out at the same time sometimes I'll think like oh there's a boat coming this way and then it emerges from over there because this is a mirror but it's very cool we've got some fantastic pictures I will be doing a full review of this cruise on cruising isn't just for old people calm so make sure you check that out I have been writing in cruise diary every single day everywhere we've been and everything we have Ethan this has been one of the best cruises of my life it's been fantastic they're coming down to look at our balcony here are the two seats that we have very comfortable very very comfortable and a table here too and the moment we have got a swan a gorgeous one that you can get different towel animals I really like that they have also been making some of our t-shirts into anchors when we leave them on the bed will come back and there will be an anchor which i think is a really nice touch we also have some books here on the table these are fantastic about where you are going really specific based on your cruise so you can have a look at where you're going what you're gonna see and you can go back home and impress everyone with your knowledge about France so next to the bed here we have got a lamp a really good lamp we've actually been using these and they move around any way you'd like and there is a clock here - this is not our clock this clock actually game with the cabin which is good really like that I normally suggest people pack a little clock but you don't have to because there's already one here and there I am hello on this side we have got the light switches so that's the main light that is the bed light over there so when you're watching TV in the evening you have that lights on and then down here there is a Do Not Disturb button which makes a little red light just outside the door and then they don't come in great coming on now into the bathroom this is the bathroom though it took me a few seconds to find this it is slide IDO I don't think I've ever had a cruise ship cabin before with a sliding bathroom door but it's very cool this is our bathroom it's a bit of a rectangle shape so it is long and thin it is not square but it's very well organized it's very clean everything you could ever want is in here so this is a really good shower as a proper shower door none of this shower curtain stuff we've got modern brown toiletries really good toiletries we've got a little conditioner here some hair and body wash too the shower actually has a proper removable showerhead so that is good there we go we've actually got a little washing line in here a laundry line if you do want to do any laundry you dry things in the shower it goes really hot it is really powerful and there is also another little shelf here for some more stuff so I love this shower it does not flood at all all the water goes down there it doesn't come into the bathroom we've got a towel here to put oh how's a bit dramatic so yeah that is a really lovely shower really really good here we have got a sink and these are some well we would call flannels I'm not sure what Americans call these wash wash cloths they've got some wash cloths here and we have got some hounds and Body Lotion which is lovely I've been putting that all over my arms because I've been getting a little bit sunburned it's been very warm here in France but fantastic we have got some soap here for washing your hands I don't know why places still have solid so because to me it just seems kind of wasteful they must throw most of it away but I mean it works so washes your hands this is a good sink it is a good size I thought maybe this would be storage but it's not really on this side you can put some of your things so I've got my laundry bag in there and we have a bin down here - quite a big bin we have got some towels so there is one you know normal size towel each and a little towel they were to get you more towels if you wanted more towels if you want anything on this cruise I don't think there's anything that is too much trouble so if you do anything else just ask for it that we more than happy so this is where we've ended up putting most of our stuff there are three little shelves here which have most of our toiletries on them we have got a toilet which is always preferred and two toilet rolls down there it's actually quite a good space I know on some cruise lines when you sit on the toilet you might as well be in the shower because your feet are almost there but I've got quite a lot of room here if I had to find something that I didn't love about this bathroom it would be this way to open the door just because I have fake nails on at the moment and to hold that with fake nails is kind of annoying but that is the smallest complaint in the entire world we've also got some hooks up here so you can hang things up to dry and we just put my swimming costume there the pole on this ship is fantastic make sure you check out my importation day video is a very very very nice bathroom one of the nicest I've had on a cruise ship probably only be improved with a bath but hey you're not gonna get that on the river ship so it's actually pretty soundproof in here one thing I had wondered about river cruises is that I thought it might be a bit loud I don't know why but it's very very quiet you'll sleep very well there is a chair here too we've actually not used that chair because why would you sit there when you can sit on there's gorgeous huge bed so they come in twice a day and make up your room and then make it back down they'll leave any kind of paperwork about your day on the bed everything is already ready you've got loads and loads of things going on this is just today's schedule a really really busy cruise I tried to avoid dairy and I told them about that before I came on this cruise so every day I get a menu like this which is so sweet I've never been on a cruise line where they care about me quite so much but they mark all of the dairy on here for me and that's in my cabin every single day thank you to Emeril for that that is a really lovely touch it was a similar situation on here one thing I forgot to point out on the other side is that there is a plug socket here which is fantastic you can charge your phone by your bed I really like that I know it's a small thing but it makes me quite happy and down here another thing I like is emerald waterways slippers these are really really nice and soft I'm quite used to slippers from cruise lines and but then normally nice of this this is good if you liked this video please consider
