elf Camo Liquid Blushes // SWATCHES, APPLICATION, REVIEW

hi everyone I am excited to bring you a Swatch and review video for .'s brand new camo liquid blushes always check the description box for where you can find these for purchase online I see that they're available I believe through Ulta Target and 's own website currently so if you want to see what the colors look like I will also apply one of them to my face so that you can see how they apply video that was for .'s new hydrating version of their camo CC cream so if you want to see if that's maybe a better fit for you or overall what I think about the formula after wearing it for several days then I will link that video in the upper right hand corner for you so these retail for $7 each it looks like they're available in 8 or nine different shades I have five of them to show you so get a good healthy sample of the color range e.l. describes this product as a longlasting liquid blush that delivers a high pigment pop of color to cheeks and has a dewy finish the formula is supposed to be blendable and buildable the product has a rounded grooved applicator that's easy to use and they are trying to push their liquid blush brush to pair with this they claim it's good for dry oily and combination skin here is a look at the ingredients the formula has hyaluronic acid Rose flour water and hibiscus flour extract and all elf products are vegan and crueltyfree so the packaging is a plastic tube where you can see the product inside on the bottom you'll get the shade name and for the price you're getting .13 fluid o of product or 4 ml so the Caps twist off and here's the shape of the do foot applicator it is very teardrop shaped the first shade I'm going to Swatch is Dusty Rose this shade is described as a warm pink next up is coral crush and this is described as a bright Coral super bright and vibrant shade next up is berry well described as a cool toned Berry next is Pinky Promise described as a cool toned pink and suve mauve described as a mob shade all right here are the five Shades super vibrant and pigmented they're just all very pretty colors so obviously you're not going to apply and wear the blushes that way so going to go back with Dusty Rose and give you some more realistic swatches going to apply a second layer in case you want to build it up Coral Crush I'm buffing them out with a doo fibered brush very well probably don't need a second layer of this at least don't not on my skin Pinky Promise another one that I probably don't need to layer now obviously these are not perfectly Blended swatches I'm just trying to show you a more diffused layer of color give you a more realistic View and sve mauve okay okay so there are the shades more Blended out again uh more just to show you what diffused color looks like not super perfectly Blended over the skin so because e.l. of course recommends that use their liquid blush brush to apply this which you don't have to but if you look at that brush it's more of a dense type of brush like this so this is the kind of brush that I'm going to use they say to dab a couple of dots of the product and then blend out with the brush I should have said this before I started I typically wouldn't use a brush like this to stipple on a product like this I would normally use a stippling brush like this so I'm going to do that yeah at least just to put the product down because I feel like a brush like this is going to swipe away too much of that formulation and and then if you want to buff and smooth out any unevenness with a brush like this then I think that's probably the my opinion the better strategy okay so applied there obviously if you want more dramatic look go ahead and apply keep layering it does blend pretty nicely I think I'm not getting too much choppiness or blotchiness or unevenness and there it is applied to both cheeks so after having worn these over the course of a few days here are my thoughts I think they do blend well I have tried applying them both both with a brush and with my fingers and I will say I like the finish and the smoothness with a brush more than with the fingers you can with your fingers if you know you're in a pinch it still works it's just I get a more smooth effect with the brush um I do find that they layer in color so you can have a more sheer layer of pigment with just a couple of dots especially with those brighter Shades um or you can layer them which you might want to do with the softer Shades the first couple of Shades very affordable price point I think $7 for the amount of product you're getting is a good deal um I think my biggest negative that I noticed is I do feel like there was a decrease in the strength of the pigment by the end of the day so after a full day's wear I do feel like that color had died down somewhat or at least to a not noticeable extent so if you want super vibrant color that definitely will last through eight hours I'm not sure that you will get that with this formula my experience was that there was some fading but other than that I do like this product I think the colors are super pretty um and I think it's at a good price point so leave a comment if you've tried these if you have a
