Spiritual Reflection Listen to this psalm before going to sleep and see what happens. When I go to bed I fall asleep right away because only you my God give me peace of mind, I lie down and I fall asleep and I wake up again because you watch over my sleep; when I feel fear, I trust you my God and I praise you for your promises; I trust in you my God and I no longer feel fear; no one can ever harm me Only God gives me peace of mind, only he gives me confidence, only he gives me his protection, only he can save me, I will never be defeated God is my savior, God is my source of pride, he protects me and fills me with strength, God is my refuge. My God, you have been good to me, that's why I can already sleep peacefully Dear friend, friend, dear young man, young lady, learn to make good decisions and think well what you do. Doing so will give you life and others will admire you, you will walk through life without problems or stumbles. Remember this: when you go to bed you will be able to sleep peacefully and without worries. You will keep in perfect peace or God all those who trust you, all those who focus their thoughts on you. Do not be afraid because I am with you, do not be discouraged because I am your God. I will give you strength and I will help you, I will hold you with my victorious right hand Do not worry about anything, rather pray and ask God for everything you need and be grateful, so God will give you his peace, that peace that the people of this world he does not understand but protects the hearts and minds of those who are already Christ's. Take care of me or God because in you I seek refuge, I have said to the Lord: my Lord is you, outside of you I do not possess any good, as for the saints that are on earth are the glorious ones in whom all my delight is. The pains of those who run after other gods will increase, I will never spill their bloody libations, nor will I pronounce their names with my lips. Your lord is my portion and my cup, it is you, who has affirmed my luck. Beautiful places have been my lot, a precious inheritance has corresponded to me. I will bless the Lord who advises me, even at night my conscience reprimands me and I always keep the Lord in mind with him at my right, nothing will make me fall. That is why my heart rejoices and my insides rejoice, my whole being is filled with confidence. You will not let my life end in the grave, you will not allow your faithful servant to suffer corruption. You have made known to me the path of life, you will fill me with joy in your presence and with eternal bliss on your right. I love God because he listens to my prayers, all my life I will pray to him because he listens to me, death had me trapped, the fear of dying dominated me, I felt terrible anguish so I begged God to save my life. My God is just and compassionate, he is a tender and loving God, who protects the defenseless, I had no one to defend me and he came to my aid. My God, you have been good to me, I can already sleep peacefully. You saved me from death, you dried my tears and you did not let me fall. As long as I have life I will always obey you. I trust you my God, although I admit that I am very distressed, too soon I have said that there is no one to trust. I wonder how my lord will pay you all your kindness? showing gratitude and praying in your name and fulfilling my promises in the presence of your people. Our God I know that it hurts you to see the people who love you die, save me from death, because I am at your service. I will bring an offering of gratitude to your altar and pray in your holy and blessed name. In the courts of your temple, in the center of Jerusalem and in the presence of all your people I will fulfill my promises to you. Let us praise our God. Those who live under the protection of the highest will find rest in the shadow of the almighty. I want to declare the following about the Lord: he alone is my refuge, my safe place. He is my God and I trust him. It will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly diseases. With its feathers it will cover you and with its wings it will give you shelter. His faithful promises are your armor and your protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night or the arrow that is launched in the day. Do not fear the disease that lurks in the dark or the catastrophe that breaks out at noon. Even if a thousand fall by your side, even if ten thousand die around you, those evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes and watch the wicked get what they deserve. If you make the Lord your refuge and the highest your shelter, no evil will conquer you, no plague will approach your home, because he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. He will hold you up with his hands so you don't even hurt your foot on a rock. You will trample lions and cobras, you will crush ferocious lions and snakes under your feet. The Lord says: I will rescue those who love me, I will protect those who trust in my name, when they call me I will answer them, I will be with them in the midst of difficulties, I will rescue them and honor them, I will reward them with a long life and they I will give my salvation. I will exalt you my Lord, my God and King, and I will praise your holy name forever and ever. I will praise you all the days of my life; Yes, I will praise you forever. Great is the Lord, the most worthy of praise, no one can measure his greatness on this earth. May each generation tell their children of your mighty acts and proclaim your power. I will meditate on the glory and majesty of your splendor and your wonderful miracles. Your impressive works will be on everyone's lips. I will proclaim your greatness. Everyone will tell the story of your wonderful goodness. They will sing for joy about your righteousness. The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and full of unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone, he overflows compassion on all his creation. All your works will thank you Lord and your faithful followers will give you praise, they will speak of the glory of your kingdom, they will give examples of your power. They will tell of your mighty works and the majesty and glory of your reign for your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule from generation to generation, the Lord always keeps his promises, he is kind in everything he does. He helps the fallen and lifts up those who are burdened with their burdens. Everyone's eyes look to you for hope. You give them their food according to their need. When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living being, the Lord is just in everything he does, he is full of goodness. The Lord is close to all who call on him; yes of all those who truly invoke it. He grants the wishes of those who fear him, hears their cries for help and rescues them, the Lord protects all those who love him but destroy the wicked.
