Eggman took Tails! - CAN SONIC RESCUE TAILS?

hey everyone it's Darby from Blue television games and today I'll be checking out Sonic the Hedgehog 2 rescue Tails let's get started do you want to skip the intro no we want the intro so this takes place right at the end of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. we just defeated the Death Egg things are blowing up we're supersonic because of course we got all the chaos emeralds and you know everything's going perfect maybe a little too perfect Dusty this is awesome good old tails is there to catch us although it what why did we drop all the emeralds we landed fine there was no reason to lose all the emeralds so as you can see the Death Egg crashed down to the ground and we're in Emerald Hill Zone yet again our plane seems okay though so this takes place right at the end of Sonic 2 as you can see here we've already been here all the monitors are hit everything's already taken care of there's no bad Nicks anywhere everything is you know almost kind of eerie because it's like so empty why you know in my defense there's no rings because we've already collected them previously wait what is going on now there's the Death Egg all bro what I just got clawed what the heck is going to give Tails back hey come back here Robotnik Four Tails what this is Sonic 2 from the Master System oh this is cool so it's just linking the games with the cool little cutscene but you know it's 16-bit Graphics it looks hilarious okay oh the motorbikes so cute because he's like Master System Moto bug hey moto bug make sure you hashtag save the motor bugs Sonic 2 from the Master System this is kind of Awesome so now I'm curious though is this a remake of Sonic 2 and Master System or like a reimagining I love the red and blue crab Meats always thought they were extra cool I gotta say things are going pretty pretty smooth for once I mean nothing could possibly help me all right I Don't Wanna Die wow that was close all right we better get some rings because rings are our friends we have lots of friends in life and Rings being one of them what am I talking about oh we're alive somehow how are we alive please don't fall in the lava good oh let's go up here lots of checkpoints loop-de-loops Galore rude oh sorry about a bug you're just in the wrong place at the wrong time there's some secrety Secrets down there I don't know Sonic 2 on the Master System super well I've been thinking about doing playthroughs of the original Master System Sonic games if you'd like to see that let me know in a comment watch out for the red and blue crab meets or don't oh I see we gotta do a little swoopy doop swoop roll sorry Moto bug no hard feelings I hope oh we gotta go over here help ooh what's up here whoa that was close I don't know which way we really want to go I think in the original Sonic 2 oh yeah Shield's probably a good move I think the emeralds are just kind of like hidden in the levels oops well that was a big waste of time dang it I swear I am having a little trouble here nope don't die okay I'm having a little bit of trouble oh finish the level we're professionals great so to get through X1 radical tubular someone has to let me voice the end screens for their Sonic fan game one day I think that would be fun [Music] I'm having too much fun I always have too much fun when I play video games if you know a sweet Sonic fan game or oops Mario fan game or just a sweet game I should play in general let me know I want to go up I saw a little platform over here yeah we're going up if you heard a squeaky noise my dog's playing with a squeaky toy are you playing with the squeaky toy well I'm trying to record a video you know if you are that's fine you're a dog dogs play with squeaky toys looks like you might be shredding your bed though that's not very cool all right back at it sorry crab meat it's your unlucky oh that Springs there just to ruin my life which is fine oh I want to do that combo roaring okay that didn't work very well there we go perfect first try sorry Moto bug nothing personal my friends so usually at the oh geez the controls are a little weird because the control well I saw an emerald I saw a chaos Emma ruled how do I get it we go oh I gotta get this got it boom we're Chaos Emerald getting fools oh man how am I supposed to get past that that's a big joke I just realized the microphone's like in my face sorry if the mic was a little distorted for a second uh yep here we go oh no it's like whoa what the okay it is it is a demo it's a workout we're behind the lava what is going on right now how you like getting chased lava it's not so fun usually you chase me now oh can I wait maybe I can despawn it or something uh this is probably bad help me yep that's not good we start oh cool restart starts you from the checkpoint they were thinking when they made this demo because we broke everything oh geez oh I did it again come on [Music] all right I think I get it we gotta hold right there we go that's how you oh that's how you do it my friends no thank you almost killed the motor bug oh we got crab meated that's fine we got spiked sorry about a bug another personal it's pretty much just get damage boosted over and over and over again but that's fine I feel boss fight coming we miss the mine cart wait that wasn't so sweet things were looking good for a second or two checkpoint boss fight let's go oh thank you Robotnik for saving my life just like in the Sonic 2 on Masterson I remember this I always thought it was weird that Robotnik saved you from the lava he's like you know what that's not how I want you to die I want you to fight this weird octopus thing I always think this is an octopus although it doesn't really look like an octopus help okay that's fine so we just want to dodge these bowling balls and uh let them hit this thing so far so good we'll do that oh that works okay spin dash it's really hard to dodge these we're professionals that works okay that's the trick oh get robotic help all right we got okay we damage boosted that whole fight but I don't care all right moving on and we finally finished the level what are those like bear pig guinea pig uh groundhogs what Sky High Zone radical all right let's Sky High Zone it right the heck up boom how you like that Turtle what do these clouds do they bounce me they're bouncy clouds with the dang chameleon bad Knicks this is what I like to call them because they remind me of chameleons and they disappear and they're all sneaky normally I like the graphics I like the updated 8-bit to 16-bit graphics plow bouncing is a real good time Cloud Bouncin is a good friend of mine I'm a poet and I didn't even know that I was one help [Music] checkpoint it's one of those sneaky sections of a Sonic level where you go the wrong way it's like you're going left now fool how you like that you can go left in platform games oh I missed the cloud well that's fine we get to try again and then yeah we're doing right great really lots of rings I don't know how I keep doing that weird spin dash good thing we got 84 rings for no special stay age or Alive oh almost enough to get an extra life even though I think we have infinite loibs which is great you know it's a demo why not give me infinite lives yes yes oh check point me up checkpoint me down check point me all around do we want to go through the cloud I guess there's something back oh a shieldy shield a hidden shieldy Shield eh I like it now we gotta go over here oh a little bouncy bounce Don't Mind If I Do Don't Mind If I don't okay that's fine at least we had a shield you my friend are going down through the checkerboard bricks and so you ring stealing son of a gun that's fine it's your job Robotnik monitor what is this end of the level what is a Robotnik monitor whatever you wanted to potential but why you know what I mean all right Sky High Zone act two let's go it's a little rainy out but that's fine there's lightning some slight flashing lights if you're sensitive to flashing lights this might not be the level for you oh yeah oops well that wasn't very good okay and we have no glider anymore I guess we just maybe we restart from checkpoint all right and glider up oh this is schnicky okay we got this this time we're gonna go hand Glide bounce damage boost jump I'm a Problem Solver my friends oh geez that's not the right way we want to bounce off this cloud and we want to do it loud and now we go over here yeah oh we are getting our booties kicked and that's fine I feel like we get damaged every two seconds oh yeah that's a lot of spikes it's fine though we're having fun that's all that matters when you play video games is if you have fun or not are we boss fighting or not not yet I don't know Sonic 2 super well I mean I know the one on Genesis but not the one on Master System I love this music though okay checkpoint and boss fight oh what the heck are you boom always got Bop you in the head and then there's bad Nicks here too for some oh if we touch the ceiling things get bad or damaging the boss when we're like falling damage the easy boss I like it though we did it we're professionals boom give me the money and by the money I mean the animal Critter friends well that was fun a sec what do you want for me I'm static what do you want for me my hands look like close do I have claw hands maybe maybe I don't foreign yes there's more Aqua Lake soon wait a minute oh that's fine all right Aqua Lake Zone it is my friends oh we can run across the top of the water if we're going fast enough I like it and we can go up here oh big loop-de-loop don't mind if we do the bigger the loop-de-loop The Harder They Fall that's the saying I believe all right that was a waste of time cool a checkpoint across the water again this level's really cool checkpoint I like checkpoints okay now we're going into the water oh we got crab meated that's fine oh we got spiked that's fine don't get shrimp Lobster clawed oh look at that we did something correct once I'm gonna put that in my dream journal wow that was an easy level 53 so we're professionals we oh Aqua Lake zone two what if we go left nope nothing over there what if we go right yep right's a good direction spring me up Spring oh okay I don't mind a little underwater action as long as it's not overstaying it's welcome let's get up a little of course whoops the noise you make when you breathe a bubble underwater just like in real life this level's cool as heck I like everything about this underwater but still fun that's when you know you got yourself a good underwater level stop it help the music freaks me out still to this day get me a bubble whoa whoop whoop whoop indeed sonic boom [Music] as unsatisfying as the you're about to drown music is the whoop whoop I got arrogant so satisfying that's right everyone say whoa blop with me up not what I expected okay this is awesome I like this we're in a bubble we're in a bubble oh there here we go again it kind of looks like Sonic's rubbing the bubble with his hands I need a little massage bubble here you go how's that feel pretty good laughs didn't know Sonic was a masseuse did you okay is this uh spikes yes these are spikes confirmed I don't need an air bubble you do now more bubbly floaty time so as long as oh if you touch the side or you jump the bubble ends how you like the massage bubble you like getting massage bubble we almost got spiked wee I wonder if the boss will be this time I like I said I've not played through Sonic 2 Master System so I'm oblivious to what boss to expect this time Maybe we'll see a lot of Sonic fan games use bosses from old Sonic fan games so maybe I have seen this boss before I don't know we're gonna do some springing that's all I know it's coveringage oh secrety secret shieldy Shield extra Rings hop over red and blue crab meat you know the use checkpoint which makes me think maybe boss fights about here drop on through boss fight me up no I like these little Zippity Doos feels familiar it's like a maze it's amazing oh checkpoint dent and if I get it come Brewing okay now we're going up whoop nice try Lobster shrimp I think it's a lobster but it kind of looks like a shrimp too are you a shrimp Lobster be honest with me Lobster shrimps don't go to school I see the lobster shrimps are cool Lobster shrimps are not cool whoa nice try Lobster shrimp you jerk I'm collecting rings for days well there's gonna be a Hidden Spring right there nope stop holding your head sonic okay boss fight time checkpoint please uh it's still not over this level is like drastically longer than the previous level checkpoint all right boss fight what do we get will I beat the boss on the first try place your bets in the comments below actually I don't think the level's over yet so never mind spurring I feel like this level could have ended by now but what do I know floaty bubble all right please be over spring finally all right that section actually got stuck up for a while I probably edited it down so it wouldn't get boring but yeah that part was kind of a pain in the butt whoa It's seal robot I don't know how to hurt it oh it's blowing up its nose and then we hit it in the head right nope how do I hurt you nope not like that maybe we hit its nose back at it or something what do I do to you it actually looks like it's broken a little bit yep I think it broke cool I hope I can do the bubble part again that'd be great [Music] game over well that's awesome at this point I had to replay through the entire demo again yippee all right we've made it back we only have one life great oh geez so I think we need to jump on his nose Maybe yep that's the trick okay so he does a little wiggle wiggle and then jump there we go little wiggle wiggle then jump easy peasy little wiggle wiggle then jump easy peasy four more hits three more hits little wiggle wiggle this one breaks if you do it wrong so we're trying to be super careful little wiggle wiggle jump only one more hit can we do it I don't want to screw this up little wiggle wiggle jump okay didn't break that time we only have one life left is this the end of the demo I don't know the answer is is this the end of the demo we don't really know but I wish we did set it yet to act too radical tubular Green Hill Zone one Green Hills Zone instead of Green Hill Zone because that's the way it was at Sonic uh two on the Master System I believe all right some ringages more ringages we really need to be careful we really need an extra life is what we need and hope there's no glitches where we fall through the grounds if we can get a hundred Rings would be awesome I love this music by the way yes very good music okay we got some loop-de-loops we need about 32 more Rings oh there's an extra life up there slow down okay we really really really want an extra life because we don't want to have to start over if we die how would I get up on top of this because there's a one up up there nice try come on give me an extra life extra life me yes we got extra life and we lost all Rings cool that's fun there we go we got up that's what we need to do sadly we lost all our Rings getting up here but we should be able to get this extra life now boom now we got three lives I think we're going to defeat this demo now we this is awesome top routes the way to go checkpoint don't mind if we do sorry Moto bug but you know sometimes you literally get my way when I'm spinning and it's your own fault oh sorry once again all right greedelzone act one in the big all right time to save Tales not really but time to at least get another boss fight and hopefully not screw it up that'd be great 24 Rings already we got three lives though I'm not too nervous oh Robotnik monitor sweet very awesome and very cool where am I supposed to go maybe I battled the bit maybe I blast through the wall here nope all right we got a back trick oh spring me up Spring me down okay that's fine this is going really well nope oh man come on all right at least we made it up how about a checkpoint I could go for it point I saw some goodies up there but we don't care because we got plenty of lives now checkpoint nice and we're in a spiky pit cool I like it spiky pits are fun I'm just trying to go fast you know There's Always Something There to ruin my fastness it's not a bad Nick it's some spikes and it's not spikes it's a bad Nick it doesn't matter if I roll or run or what I do I just get destroyed over and over again all right we have no rigs now we got Rings again good that's what I like to see help we went through the ground that's fine over to here I want to fight another boss let's go jump help nope oh this is crazy all right oh come on no ground okay I just want to go fast is that so much to ask for [Music] all right here we go I'm feeling better about this we might actually die we're down to our last life if I lose I have to replay through all the levels again which would be great it's fun to record you know for hours on end there we go don't fall into the bottomless pit although we have to beat the boss on our first try now because you know we're out of lives hopefully the boss is pretty self-explanatory I feel like we're in Boss territory right now ew no boss does that mean end a demo maybe or is there three acts in Green Hills Zone and the answer is and a demo oh wait wait wait airplane time Sonic finally gets to fly an airplane oh wait I can't control him though is that it Sonic two tails rescue credit okay that's it for the demo that was really
