Efteling (Fairytale Amusement Park) in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I Exploring Europe - Ep. 6

all right girls where are we off to today and do you know what country amsterdam is in the netherlands that's right and this makes your how many countries have you been to including the netherlands so we're going to land in our 10th country in your 10th country hopefully very soon [Music] we made it to the netherlands we're here it's about 6 30 or 6 45 and we are headed first to rotterdam on the train and then from rotterdam to tilburg and once we arrive in tillberg we'll get to our hotel and tomorrow morning we're getting up and going to an amusement park so it's going to be an awesome fun filled four nights in this lovely country of the netherlands [Music] good morning from pillsburg in the netherlands and we're going to an an amusement park today are you excited okay where are we going do you know the name afternoon excellent that's correct and it's going to be lots of fun it's a whole fairytale amusement park it's going to be great fairy tales speak directly to your heart and appeal to your imagination fairy tales awaken the child and everyone and fairy tales are the beating heart of efteling follow along with us as we discover the magical world of efteling theme park all right olivia you made it to 1.2 meters so you can get on that ride and this ride and that ride [Music] look who's joining us on our trip frankie's back do you have any uh facts about this lovely amusement park to tell us i do so we're in efteling it started as a sports park then they had playgrounds and other things added to it and eventually as the fairytale forest opened they started to add more and more attractions to get visitors so in 1952 they had over 200 000 visitors and the cost was .36 oiros so i have no idea what we paid because jessica takes care of that 44 and in 2017 they had over 5 million visitors come to this amusement park so very excited to check it out they've continued to add new rides and attractions and um i am just super excited to ride some roller coasters we're definitely an amusement park loving family yeah we are thrilled we hope we got here before the gates open and we will leave when the gates close [Music] we are on our first ride [Music] we got at once with no uh line and now there's this is only a 10 minute line so i'm glad we ran here first we're going on one more time then we're gonna go check out some more rides [Music] all right libby what did you think of vogel rock you didn't like it but was it a little bit fun it was a little bit i don't want to go again because my throat really hurt and it's all dark it's kind of like space mountain super neat and greg and emma went to go do it again [Music] [Applause] [Music] emma what did you say to libby about this ride i said show that ride to the spot that's right olivia are you gonna have fun good we're waiting in line for the python it's about a 35 minute wait greg are you excited very very excited good and the weather is so nice [Music] all right girls what did you think of the python the python was awesome what about you liv it was scary but did you like it at all or no tiny bit it was scary but you kind of liked it greggy what did you think it was awesome it was a lot of fun very smooth and i was telling jess i really liked the seating system it was like it was cushiony right but then olivia broke down in tears to seriously ride it so hold on what did you bribe her with after that ice cream that's all yeah natural yeah [Music] [Music] hopefully the blue winds [Music] all right and what is it it's a pancake restaurant and we're eating them for lunch and i'm getting apples look how neat it is inside the decorations [Music] libby there's your apple pancake what else did you get stickers no wait tattoos tattoos that's so cool so my pancake has apples raisins and cinnamon sugar greg you got an apple one over there i think it's a milk emma got a plain one is putting way too much syrup on and olivia got an apple one as well that was your favorite dutch pancake it was so good so but but um it is so good i haven't finished it because i'm so so full so maybe i shouldn't have drink all of this because no probably not olivia how was your apple pancake best ever i finished how is yours yeah we've all three of us ate ours this one yeah mine is gone it was incredibly delicious [Music] wow [Music] now we're gonna have a feet [Music] [Music] are you excited all right let's go check out some fairy tales what are you doing over here [Music] and this is the servant with a long name [Music] all right libby what are we on oh we're on the monorail are you so excited yeah and how long did we have to wait for the monorail 20 minutes but 45 yeah so not too bad and off we go [Music] emma how was this ride it was awesome and the people you hear singing are the ghosts wow i can't believe you did this it's so big and tall [Music] so i must admit out of all the amusement parks we've been to the food here is definitely reasonable olivia and i both got she got popcorn a bottle of water i got a coca-cola zero and a cheese pastry all for 10 euros and that's a wrap on our amazing day in this fairytale world of efteling we enjoyed exciting roller coasters enchanting rides and made lots of memories thank you for wandering along with us [Music]
