my voice is only a mere guide to suggest positive things to help you achieve peaceful restful deep healing relaxation now take a moment to get yourself into a comfortable position somewhere where you are least likely to be disturbed once you find that comfortable position gently close both of your eyes and take a few slow steady deep breaths in when you exhale I want you to envision that you are releasing the negative thoughts and stress that you carry around inside yourself you are breathing out the stress that you have no use for with every breath you breathe out you are relieving yourself of the feelings that weigh you down you will feel yourself sinking further and further into your comfortable position each time you exhale as you follow the sound of my voice you will remember to breathe deeply as you relax through this healing deep sleep experience do not worry if your mind wanders just simply and gently draw your focus back to your breathing and the sound of my voice now take one single deep breath in and hold it for three seconds before finally exhaling whenever you breathe out I want you to gently open your eyes and give your whole body permission to completely relax I want you to relax from the very top of your head down to the very bottoms of your feet we are about to repeat this breathing exercise again right now close your eyes and breathe in deeply drawing rich healing oxygen into your lungs hold the breath for three seconds before finally opening your eyes and releasing all the contents of your lungs when you do this you can feel every single muscle in your body let go this is how you should regulate your breathing to calm your mind as you breathe this way with your eyes gently open you inhale and your eyes softly closed as you exhale you are choosing to release stress and relieve yourself of worry you will fill your eyes getting heavier and harder to open every time you breathe out you are choosing to drift relax you are permitting your mind to ease itself of all mental tension your breathing is under your control physical and subconscious strain are not welcome entities at this time you hold the power of your will the power to relax and the necessity of this wonderful breathing technique when you follow this route to oxygen it's almost as if your lungs were thirsty and the air around you is a cold drink of water on a hot summer day breathe eyes open when you inhale eyes closed when you exhale give yourself permission to relax even further going deeper down into relaxation as you breathe in eyes open out eyes softly closed continue to breathe this way until your eyes feel heavy enough to stay closed until your rest is complete it doesn't matter if you make a mistake and it doesn't matter how long this process takes it's different for everyone and it's different on different occasions there is no rush or time limit just relax and breathe remember to trust yourself to let go and when you're ready you will drift away with your eyes shut and your subconscious mind in a perfect quiet peaceful place of warm subconscious relaxation a place where you are calm a place where you are drifting calmly drifting as you breathe your way into a deep peaceful warm state of harmonium a place of true deep recovery a place where you will truly rest yourself both physically and mentally allow yourself the right to relax you deserve to rest calmly you are drifting out further and further going deeper and deeper and to subconscious relaxation this is a warm state of true healing give yourself permission to let go even further now you are relaxing as you safely and calmly drift off you may feel as though you are actually floating this is safe this is healing this feeling is relaxation you are already resting as you allow your mind to relax completely breathe you have the right to relaxation you have the right to drift drifting further [Music] possibly further than you ever remember [Music] relaxing your body and mind with every single soft breath you already known that this time was created for you to fully come every single part of yourself and relax deeply allow yourself to drift further [Music] you are now deeply relaxed and your subconscious mind is open and receptive to the suggestions you will receive during this hypnosis experience in the past you often found yourself expecting the worst to happen the phrase a half-empty glass best portrayed your attitude towards life but you already know that people who look on the bright side of life what describe their glass as being half full notice how I say in the past I say in the past because that old way of thinking no longer applies to you [Music] the very fact that you are listening to this today confirms that your outlook is already changing and you are ready to accept what is rightfully yours you are ready for a happy and a positive frame of mind you have decided of your own free will that from now on you will choose to accept only positive thoughts that contribute to your well-being and the comfort and well-being of those that are important to you you have made up your mind yes you have fully decided and that decision was yours and yours alone you already know that things go wrong without reason you know that you cannot change that but you also know what you can change you can change yourself and your way of thinking that is what you are doing right now you are changing for the good these positive changes are already installing themselves into a much deeper level of your mind these good healthy changes are taking place deep inside your amazing subconscious this is the part of you that controls your thought processes and all of your personal automatic actions and reactions that you have developed via past experiences this part of your mind has been shaping your personality since the second you were born you are also aware that there will be times when your positive thinking does not seem to pay off you may approach a challenge to accomplish something you are not very skilled about you already know that you won't become an expert overnight but it is very important to remember that by approaching these challenges with a positive mindset you will definitely feel those skills build up over time and you will find yourself able to do so much more than you previously thought you could a great positive side effect of this way of thinking is feeling your self-confidence and your sense of self-worth increasing day by day no longer two little small setbacks ship away and your belief in yourself your foundation is positive when you set your mind to succeed with positive thinking you find that it is difficult not to succeed you are formerly plagued by worries and fear of things that were outside of your control you will find those worries and fears fade away as your positive confidence flows in you are thinking positive thoughts and expecting the best outcome you do this automatically you expect good things to happen and more often than not positive things do happen I would like you to think of a situation that you will be handling differently in your life from this moment forward a situation where in the past you have anticipated the worst outcome when in reality the end result was much better than you originally thought it was going to be take a few moments and allow yourself to picture a similar situation in your past now imagine you are in your own private home cinema comfortably relaxing in front of a large white blank screen I want you to project the situation you just remembered onto the screen in front of you as if it were a video playing but I want you to play this memory backwards starting from the point where the situation turned out good perhaps at one time you were under the impression that something negative had happened to someone close to you but it turned out that they were fine I want you to play that memory in Reverse from the moment you became aware that the person was okay run that situation backwards from that point on the screen in front of you like a film and slow motion rewind it back to the negative thoughts you had been having at the beginning of this past experience and when you are back to the beginning of the clip to the time when you first had those negative thoughts I want you to pause the memory and zoom in on the screen in your mind zoom into the image of yourself worrying needlessly and the moment that vision of your self whirring appears on the screen I want you to immediately replace that image and any negative thoughts or feelings that were attached to it with your new positive image and healthy thoughts you are in control so make it as though your positive thoughts are overriding the negative ones creating a strong positive happy image of yourself with these new confident positive thoughts and feelings after all you know you were worrying for nothing and the worry did not aid the situation at all take a moment and try to project onto the screen another situation in your past that seemed negative at the start a memory that caused you to think negatively but in the end everything turned out ok or perhaps even positive but checked the memory on the screen and do exactly what you did with the previous one replaced the negative with the positive positive feelings and positive emotions [Music] you know that your old negative thoughts were a waste of your mental energy and time you know you were worrying for nothing and that is why you no longer accept negative thinking you prefer to use positive thoughts you no longer assume that the worst scenario is about to take place you also know that if you take the word impossible and replace the letter in with the letter S you get that totally new meaning that's because it is possible and this is the way that you prefer to think now I would like you to imagine yourself in an attic staring at a very old chest this chest contains all of your previous negative thoughts and experiences this chest is closed I want you to lift up and open the heavy wooden lid on the chest look into the chest it is time to get rid of that old way of thinking that was holding you back you have a big black bag ready to put all those unwanted negative thoughts into and throw them out for good you might see those thoughts as symbols or perhaps small heavy black containers amid a host of positive brightly colored thought containers maybe you see them for what they are simply negative unnecessary thoughts that you are about to eliminate from your life and your mind whatever way the negative thoughts appear to you take them all out and place them in the big black bag tie the bag twice and put it outside or if it can be collected and taken away never to be seen or heard of again [Music] you can dust off the nice brightly colored positive thoughts in the chest if you wish these are the happy and confident positive thoughts you have experienced in the past and it's nice to keep them fresh [Music] now before you close the lid on the chest take one more look inside because there's something you didn't see they're right at the bottom of the chest is a very dusty ancient looking book with your name on the cover you can see it take it out and dust it off and open it up inside you will find affirmations about things that you know are relevant to you and your circumstances in life I'm not exactly sure what these affirmations are because they're personal to you but I can guess some of them and I'm sure I'll be right your book probably contains short phrases like I can do it everything will turn out right in the end I am worth it or even give me a problem and I will find a solution of course I'm sure there are many many more and the nice thing about this book is that there is plenty of room to add to it you can use or recall the phrases in your book at any time you wish you are in control of your thoughts and your thoughts are positive this is your book and the affirmations in this book represent the positive thoughts that now reside in your subconscious mind you find yourself actively thinking these new positive thoughts in so many situations in your life from now on your glass is always half full rather than half empty from now on you always look on the bright side of life you are a much happier and a more confident person and this confidence spreads and as it spreads you feel absolutely wonderful good things start happening to you because you are better company to yourself and those around you you are so much more relaxed now and that attracts other people to want to be around you you are positive these suggestions are firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they grow
