Edition 12 – Euroboden x Adjaye Associates

[Music] this is this will be my first project in Munich and I'm really excited to be working with you Stefan on this because in a way for me architecture is not just about the architect it's about the relationship between the architect the client and ultimately also the person who began to work with the builded and to build I think family a family house a family housing is so significant because it's really the stuff of city making you know this is the stuff that makes the city and their unique projects where you make museums and things like this but actually for me this is a very special thing to do it the city because it really touches normal people's lives and that for me is the greatest thing that architecture does so and I love your passion and your commitment to design and to architecture so I'm really excited about this potential collaboration I'm really fascinated about the architecture because it works so well with the surrounding it will make people appreciate more what they have in the neighborhood and the building will give more identification to the whole street it's actually well it's not when we have the net maybe the golden nap yes as you mentioned over the sunken garden yeah it would be great to have it on the wall as well because then the plants can grow up and go over the sunken garden yeah so cool 150 meters garden is right in between the vacation it's great it's really really green around that's a huge playground in English garden I think it's a great place here for families but to really find them you know how we can really be expressive and understand concrete what we can do with it because it really is the material of our time I mean some old idea but to current make no balls you know they can look up you'll hear they come down you can have privacy here and then the building is really so playing itself I think it's a big responsibility we have as a developer we have to be aware that we build something which stays there 100 years so people have to deal with it but that's not enough that people just deal with it people should love it [Music] you [Music]
