comedy club there called Stanford songs sweet walking to motherfucker and it was one dry comedian afternoon so my cousin's like nigga you funded these motherfuckers we just hanging out in the owner block I said I bet you $50 gonna get your black ass up there how broken the motherfucker there and I ain't never been on stage talking you know I had booked a lude and locked in all that shit in one every fucking talent show my foot was ever here mm-hmm but never talked in front of audience right I think I'm looking at that empty wallet nigga took a couple more drinks so I walked over to the manager and said yeah you mind if I get up do five minutes he said yeah we ate five minutes see what you can do at my fucking handed me their mic I did 45 stood him up they banned me from the club mm-hmm why did they Betty from the club they said I was a little too blue for a taste I didn't understand what the fuck blue meant again you know once I got into the business real that means you know your little ng4 they taste yeah so I said fuck it I'm too no spirit so I went to all the jazz clubs on 18th and vine I said what's your slow night honey like Tuesday Wednesday I say you mind if I do a comedy night head yeah I'm saying I see five people in here now so if I bring two more motherfuckers you win it so started doing that shit and I did that for about nine months it was ass back in the house Marsha Warfield came to town she had a show at the Uptown Theater so I opened up for Marshall so Marsha told me look here you look black motherfucker you need to get out of this city that you need to take your ass to LA or New York run too funny for this shit all right so my mother said we're down she's like nigga your big fish in a small pond I see what you're talking about you got your little local TV show and all that shit like your big fish in a small pond now once you take your ass out to the ocean and see if you were well hmm so I jumped back on the Greyhound bus and he came back to LA and uh I was homeless for about a month cuz I refused to go back to confer to Malka Bucky's house cuz the shit over there is just not conducive to what the fuck I'm trying to do it when you say homeless do you mean fit in hill downtown LA so you were actually sleeping on the street yes standing up sleeping standing up budget had three jobs at work that uh it was his restaurant down there called Googie restaurant I'd worked there during the day then I'd work at Tony's pizzeria yeah I mean I still see Tony from time to time and that was inside the Bonaventure hotel and then there's little flea-bitten uh hotel I finally got a room at after I got my first check for them two jobs I started doing security at the door for that spot so later he was working around the clock sleep like two or three hours so uh then I read this little they call it a drama log or something my saying I said oh yeah comedy stores on and so forth so I took a bus ride up to the comedy store so I said yeah I like to showcase for the owner Mitzi shore anyway well he had it played at three to comedy clubs around the nation all this shit so I said at carnac site and they had a pay phone at the time out front right so I'm looking at this drama low so I called on the phone playing like I was my manager hello yes this is Eddie Griffin's manager and I'd like to set a showcase up for this young man he's from Kansas City Missouri it's kid is phenomenal you're gonna love him he's played Caroline's I'm reading shit out the fucking book he's been at the improv and the funny bones he said yeah he's on the night in a 8 o'clock I just hung out out front don't look so 8 o'clock I went up there they gave me five minutes I remember closing with a Michael Jackson on crack right I got off stage at MIT teacher walked up to me she's like oh my god you got more time you're Pinker than twice in ten years you're gonna work me so the manager was standing next to her I said can you translate with this bitch Jersey I can understand what the fuck she's Indian so he says he won't work I said tell her bitch I got a problem I'm homeless she said she put me up at cress Hill okay so his uh his little mansion she's got shit she put club comedians and shit so I stayed there for a minute Andrew Dice Clay came in this was at the height of his shit right and uh he was looking for opening act for this uh big Tories doing Madison Square Garden all that shit yeah so everybody ain't they're trying to get together great so he came in one night so I did this impersonation on Andrew Dice Clay as a homosexual how's it going so I'm sitting there sucking a dick right this guy's balls deep in my ass oh so this motherfucker sitting there I get Allstate he walk up to me I'm taking my jacket I was I think I described his liver he said not on our name that like that you fucking funny right I got a dual coming up don't get excited I'm saying I'm taking you right I like you badonk comedy I said I don't know about nine months nine months was it yet nine months so he's waiting on me to ask him about the tool so I refuse asses back of my head I'm like ninety nine he said so he came back the next day watch me again got our stage took now friends like you want something to drink at that time I didn't drink it sit down drink you know drink it's an Andre he said I bought some oysters I'd take some oysters he's like huh nine months huh all right fuck it I'm taking you we leave tomorrow seven o'clock we get on the motherfucker playing we get to the first was Providence Rhode Island 30,000 white people in it I'm the only nigga in the house so bill chef was the opening comedian right you know his where's the soup standing one placetype comedian so he got these huge Jumbotron so that the crowd can see the show right so he posed to do 15 minutes funny as shit it was something he condensed 15 minutes into fo minutes didn't miss an inflection cuz they was throwing shit in his motherfucking head you can see all the jump of trying to candy every time he come down as my foot is yeah so I went over I was 19 min so I went over to a sound man I said all these motherfuckers is thinking about his Andrew Dice Clay so I got to take that out of date they cerebellum since then I went you want to play this song when he introduced me I said he ate a duck scene he played the song nigga I came out and all that shit had x-ray vision looking at bitch's butt naked in the showers shit so Robert Townes approached me at backstage he said I'm telling a joke my mom I saw just I'm up he was like nigga you know when they call that nigger Percy is seriously upset by son Oh I said Percy want to see I said about what they say the nigga want to see I said tell him I'm over there you better get your little black hands over there so I go over to the digger trailer and niggas just bullshit yeah a little more fucker you know me I hate you round here you know just doing stupid shit Nick getting high on the sack nigga this here's a business nigga head nigga grab me dougie and then pulled out a motherfucking presidential row legs and say happy birthday mother fuck as a class act Lee sighs and so but master P actually cut cut you a check for a million dollars for a scratch now I'm not very familiar with Hollywood is that typical for a script no no like I always usually get for a script these days well I it depends you know as it uh you know superhero Marvel Comics type shit yeah you get a big check for but but but you're talking about an independent small fan small film how much should that check should have been for in the market place these that you know at those days I'm probably like 300 400 okay so you gave you way more than you were supposed to get yeah well I knew what it's about it was returning the favor before you know ah being that nigga okay yummy so you cut you a billy dark jack yeah was that the biggest trick you got at the top at that time yeah that time okay million dollar check oh that's what's up take is the one before that was like set margin so you know but yeah that was there that's what's up as far as taking shots on me this is hip-hop it's fair game you know um if they took it as a shot then it's a shot because perception is reality and you know at the end of the day I'm not here to say no I didn't it is what it is he has some lungs some gut check lines in that record but as far as like being top 5 I can't go with that I can't go I'd like no way in the world I say maybe top 20 no way in the world 20 oh no I mean not even that huh
