Eating Everything We Catch PIER FISHING - Squid, Shark, Mackerel n' More!

what is going on my friends welcome to a pier a Florida pier fishing episode out with me ancient check out his channel down in the description and we are spending the morning fishing out on this really long pier in Florida and it is a beautiful morning The Tide Is incoming and it's overcast I think it's going to be a great time he's making me carry the thing again I make him roll it everywhere he's looking for free meals um I yeah I say this side right side go right whenever you can that's what I say it seems a little quiet out here there's not a lot of jabbering and chitchat usually if people are really catching them there's a lot of talking and usually when girls come out on the pier there's even more talking how you doing sir good how are you good morning good morning how was have you been here long n like not even an hour okay any anybody catching much of anything so I saw a few Spanish be caught off the end out here okay and as soon as I changed I started catching a few fish uhhuh it's a different world like it's one thing I've Bast my whole life me too then I come out here the last couple years and like I feel like I'm start yeah it's fun though mhm all right my friend wire leader and this jerk bait on I've never caught something on a jerk bait like this in the salt water as the single hooks which is crazy to me it's a Rapala X wrap long cast it's like a weighted one they're made for peer fishing situations so here we go first cast of the day oh cast like a dream oh there's a dolphin first dolphin I've seen guys that's a good sign look at all these birds hopefully something's about to happen I have no idea it's not a fish what is that thank you I don't know not a fish I was wondering what kind of structure was out there put my spoon on fish oh you got a big fish brother there yes you got a big fish you can have whatever you got a big fish I got it it's a monster you can keep it Whatever It Is this is a turle oh no oh is that what it is oh shoot big oh my God lger Head oh he hooked a big turtle we thought it was a snag it was like what the what don't how many pounds eight well he'll eat do you guys need a pet got a pet I don't think it's going to help a turtle oh come on dude oh there it is oh snap you're lucky snap the line thank you you're welcome I have to imagine he ISC something just hit just something just hit something big something big guys snat it uh-uh well that work guys I got one bite did I did I just hit a I just hit a bird in midair I just snagged a bird in midair are you kidding me dang it get off there buddy shoot I just got a bite too a great I snagged him in [Music] midair they're all coming no no no no no no oh my goodness what the hold on all right hold on this is bite good so you just do like this hold that he bite really good he bites really a you my dad has his hat you need yes oh you okay oh thank you there we go yes oh he is his I just do that that one so that won't bite for us where is the line what I'm going to do is I'll just clip it and retie that'll make it easier okay okay there we go there we go thank you for your help thank you get a picture First Catch of the Day a turtle and a bird for the day all right do it again what do we got left I know there's pelic yeah we we need a on you got a bird too oh what the what he's got a pelic no not a it's my third pelic of the day oh my God terrible silicon three three you you have a world record world record world record Pelican catch you want me to just grab your line and pull it up I got in here okay you you you seem to be better at this than yes world record R congratulations that's his limit today though it okay I hope so you already got limit you need to go home no I'm just kidding I I want to go home I've caught three of them my bait didn't even hit the water yet and it like in and got it yeah I caught the my the seagull got it before it even okay just sit in there feel too much problem sit right here okay don't go anywhere you behave yourself okay okay just all right so we've got seagull pelic Turtle what we need Dolphin next actually Dolphins don't get snacks so we need shark i' seag than a B I want to catch a uh Lora think that suck on sharks mhm those are really funny kids they fight really hard oh there's one right there is he going to eat your bit guys this is a subscriber Grant and [Music] he he's got a rort chasing it dude you just he's like I want to catch a raor and a rora appeared in that second dude that's crazy Nice Guys these are the same fish that stick to sharks yeah okay don't worry up up you cannot bite me you B okay now did you hook him in midair yeah yeah that's crazy flew right through it I don't like getting bit by Pelicans but I don't like getting bit by these more there you go okay do it again go saish gone City there's Turtle right down here there's a big turtle he's yeah he's coming right up you get his picture we saw it over there oh there he is that is cool tur I've actually never seen a yellow one I saw him coming up way over there and I just wanted to see him again oh my God bab that is cool I've seen the green green sea turtles I don't know if that's just like Florida's version of green sea turtles is that's something else Florida's version oh my gosh he didn't go away wait might be a logger head oh maybe something different I mean he's big guys there's something out there it's a little out of my casting range but there's a Skool of bait fish way out there got him got him got oh dang it oh my goodness I cannot believe that I've been waiting no no it didn't feel like massive but it it was it was a good fish throw a little a little plug uh no just a regular jerk bait oh guys that's what I was waiting for and I don't know how just just got off what is it thank call the day for or call the day right now yeah guys this been a tough morning exciting moments tough crowd tough crowd but uh guess we'll just have to come back out here again all right my friends check out this new pier here not very long it's on the Bay Side we decided to come here today because the north wind is still blowing just yeah yeah and it's like nobody's catching anything on the beach at least people I've talked to on the beach or the piers and I think it's just kind of in general blowing the game Fish away from the clo up close but there are birds dive bombing over here on the Bayside so the wind is blowing right in our face and we're going to give it a go on this tiny like Inland Pier all right so my dad's going to go try to catch us some uh bait good luck all right guys so I'm out here with the cast net hoping to get some Al wives Ace is way over there on the pier I'm going to leave my bucket here we're going to head out oh we got something here that's good if they're L wives great if they're just more pin men or pin fish will let them go oh those are good ones that's definitely what we want that was worth a walk just just that little hall right there was definitely worth a walk excellent there we go oh yeah got another good haul here guys fact this is enough if they're the right kinds we're done oh yeah very definite all right we can head back H that's it that's enough do you need some B do I need some ba um sure I would love some thank you so much appreciate it oh dump oh excellent soft as they are every Everything likes them too okay appreciate it thank you so much y'all have a good day well that was nice of those folks glad my fishing Rod's still here I did get a bite what is it oh excellent un we change that water um I don't think so those folks gave me the last bit of their bait oh W they've got something okay so I've got something different that's interesting oh you've got like the Shad I think they're green backs okay there we go sweet I actually rather have Green backs because the those other ones are so small even the pinish will eat oh Pops that is epic sweet sweet got him fish on wow it's a strong fish oh it's a red fish yeah this my first red fish of the trip did they have a slot here or what the deal is you know before I even take him off the hook let's look up the rags real fast uh they have to be between 18 and 24 uh 27 in yeah probably like 13 or something pretty sure he ain't 18 but hey ladies and gentlemen that's a good sign let's uh there might be a school of them out there sweet rinse my hands off com on that bait that you got by the way guys check out my level up in real life wrist bands link down in the description and they have Ace on that side so yeah check them out they're sweet thank you P for getting that bait that worked like a charm guys this is my setup I bought a beef stick at the store the other day 10f footer for Beach fishing but I thought for free lining it's really nice to cast these ultra light baits so I decided to use it for this cuz I just got like an I mean an ounce or whatever of weight on and it gets out there pretty far and that way if I get some happen to get like a giant stingray or something I can handle him got him got him guys ooh strong fish ooh yeah yeah oh it's a red fish o pops they a lot of times School up so throw I mean I threw it right out there this one might be oh he's going to be close he's going to be close so nice yes he he just took off out for deeper water with it help yeah if you could do the measuring part that would be great okay ah he's 15 and a half okay I was afraid of that oh shoot all right has to be 18 guys bigger than the last one uhhuh now we got the little ones out of the way let's get that big one in the in the group I cannot believe how strong those fish are I mean I hooked up on that boy and I was like here we go I mean it's 15 and 1/2 inch you got him my dad's got one oh man you are having the worst luck I just can't fish I think maybe you need to slow down your hookset just a little bit all right he Sean oh my dad has a good one what you got oh it's a jack oh well maybe that's just been steal on our bait down there got it oh and he threw your bait wow that was decent of okay wait all these do it throw a couple more times but there we go you got a you got a puffer fish puff oh that's crazy dude on a spinner yeah that's crazy man you mind being in a YouTube video huh you mind being in a YouTube video I make YouTube videos that's crazy on a trout spinner you cut a puffer fish that's a I'm going have to bring some of my freshwat lers and see what I'm a Bassman so yeah okay yeah yeah that's crazy man big one yet I want to see him poke guess I'm going to poke them cuz I'm not touching them you're not touching guess I'm going to poke him cuz I'm not touching him you're not touching him tickle his belly I'm going to eat you oh well well my friends it's not the day we were looking for fun time out on the pier but it seems pretty dead just seem kind of like the pier on the other side so we're just going to gather ourselves together and see what we're going to do next woohoo all right my friends what is going on so the ancient and I have decided to come to a brand new pier early in the morning to try to get something going on an extra early morning bite the wind and waves are quite a bit more at this place I mean they are rolling you almost surf these things surf up dude Surfs Up dude oh all right guys it's pretty crowded out here right now but uh that's all right just going to set my pure net somewhere guess we'll just lean it right here keep it at the ready it's a little smaller but it's white like that he got the king oh he did okay King's Bri and white all right so my dad's going to throw a big jerk bait with a wire leader and I'm going to throw a saiki all right my friends got a couple of sikis on there three little squid and look at that Sunrise oo this is a good time to be out here got one got one guys got one on the saiki yes yes hopefully it's a Spanish hopefully it's a Spanish got to reel in quickly so the Dolphins don't grab it oh yeah oh yeah come on baby hey hey there we go first keeper oh that's a good one too guys yes yes first Spanish mackerel of the morning first keeper fish of the video you know I better not do that I better get pliers these things have some teeth I actually have 40 lb leader on there because of their te yes that is what I'm talking about folks they need to be 12 in to keep this guy's down like 16 17 sweet we need check that out huh nice we need a reason to get some ice guys look how beautiful that fish is oh get some water in there for starters or you going to get some ice oh we'll get some ice all right let's get another one guys they School up almost all the time yes thank you Lord guys I may have had two on at the at the very first and the other one just got off cuz it was super heavy at first and then it kind of got lighter oh they're bite got him fish only again yes yes yes guys I'm fishing just a little slower yes sir on the saiki we have another one of those right in the same spot come on guys they're such soft Ms you don't land them till they're over the side yes that is what I'm talking about another beautiful Spanish man kind of you got on there B it's a big heavy one I actually bought it in Hawaii uh there it's like 60 lb liter with 40 lb uh yeah it's I thre one of those away yesterday oh shoot oh W hey bro bro yes another keeper guys bam thing gotta work fast guys because they um you don't know when they're going to [Music] disappear I'm actually working it a little bit slower than usual I'm not really cranking it I think cuz of the dirty water yeah it's a little slower might be better oh I just had another one yeah I think slower is better definitely oh have something on what oh look I have a cigar minnow for if you want that for later pops uh you know what I think I am you can put them on right now if you want all right now one thing is I hooked him right in the Noggin somehow so you can I mean he might not last long is what I'm saying guys you can see where the sun is um that's why I'm catching him I caught that cigar minnow my dad's actually putting it on a hook right now that's why I'm catching cuz there cigar Min out there in the Spanish mael chasing them all right now you got it going guys this guy's got a massive sub Kei 1 2 3 4 5 six I want to see you H hook up on all of them man last time that's Spanish are biting SII I mean they'll take you know they take the hooks but uhhuh that's why it's good to have a yeah something's taking your fish the cigar minut if it's a circle hook remember just pull up nice and easy guys something do you have something you got something on the on the cigar minut what is I don't know need the pure need the Peer Net there we go oh it's a rora little rora oh shoot want me to get the pet no it just came ah shoot oh we're hoping it for a big game fish raor are cool but we hoping for it was be a big game Fish we're going to actually do something my dad doesn't want to rig up another he's already rigging up something else we're going to keep this Herring we're do a little taste test on it um sometimes we've been surprised so we got Spanish mackerel and a little Herring going good morning so far yeah he's waiting to steal some fish opportunistic feeder is that a tiny Bonita look at that that one ter whoa that's that's no no no it's a Bonita yeah it's just a micro one baby you got to tie on a big hook now yeah I know that's crazy beautiful no Bon B Bonita use that for bait yeah yeah that's really good bait that's a crazy oh look at my dad C oh you got a little Bonita got a little Bonita sweet I mean I can't believe I already hit it for how big for how yeah imagine imagine getting like a four or five pounder yeah yeah sweet cool well if you don't want to use them live I'd say at least throw them in there and you bait or eat them or something do something with him guys when I was in Hawaii I saw these sikis I thought I I really like the look of the squid but I really liked how heavy they were 60 lb Mainline 40 lb liter and I thought those would catch Spanish mackerel in Florida and I had seen anything like that in Florida so I bought a bunch of them uh months ago and brought them all the way here I like pickled hering so uhuh yeah pickled herring or whatever sweet yeah let's give it a go that'll be fun something new my dad got some ice sweet I'm going to switch lures to one of these I think it'll cast like a boss in the wind oh nice that this is Chase he just caught a nice Spanish right when I put my saiki away that's a good they seem to be good solid keeper size ones out here don't razor bite me now yeah yeah he's like let me get video of this kid getting his finger bit off here's some flyers if you want thank you you hooked him just right where he couldn't cut your line yeah ah nice thank you very much for that you are W sweet wow perfect some kind of a little guy pops oh no way no we got a squid there's good eatting all right yes a squid on a on a little squid lure I love it that is hilarious wow that's the first time got a squid in Florida man that's going to be oh yeah sweet oh yes unexpected all right that is what I'm talking about Squid on a squid nice catch pop oh man am I glad we got one of those bad yeah guys we heard about them nice it is uh October now so oh I guess they start to move in guys in the fall a bucket of those that hurt those are so tasty this is uh crazy looking pink spoon here got this last year I never ended up using it I want to try it today on this windy day I haven't seen anybody else throw one of these a lot of guys been throwing jerk baits but they haven't been getting anything on it that I've seen yeah yeah and that's great what hold my rod what the been that is jeez so you say these little ones are some guys claim they're tastier than the big ones that's what they claim might try today yeah yeah perfect opportunity yeah I thought I had a Spanish on there those are beautiful they are Every Which Way my dad has something again lady fish are a mackerel it's a mackerel a big one big one yeah crank them up fast they have S their going rip get them up get them up get all of yes that's a good one that's the biggest one of the day sweet oh all right nice catch just swallowed that look at those teeth there we go yeah that's definitely biggest one of the day right there Wonder many yeah out of curiosity I just want to measure real quick yeah like close to 17 in sweet I'll get this open SE food Feast man I know squid mackerel got him again my dad's just smoking he at least took it a little bit guys I'm using this spoon hoping to get something bigger but I don't know maybe I should go back to the Seiki here we go I don't know on the white one again they like that small white one that's why I switched yeah another solid one easy keeper great fish pops man we are going to have a feast yeah yes we are well he's got something down here big shark all kinds Antion in here he going after that Bonita oh I see the vague outline yeah oh he's going after your oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah oh he's looking at Chase's B oh my God take it Budd would you would you try to land him yeah I hear him more here he goes here he come he's looking oh he's a smart shark it's like I see that line two of them now whoa they're just checking it out yeah they they're not even was that a bu this surprises me like how smart that I I would have thought they just like go for it just Chomp it like no huh all right my friends even though it's 933 right now we are actually going to be done for the day because the fishing report has been it's been a morning bite or an evening bite and that's been in once the sun gets a little high in the sky you're almost wasting your time out here so we're going to head out come back out this evening all right my friends we're down on the beach you can see where the sun is we just decided to skip the whole afternoon trying to fish and uh there's the pier right there so you can see we're not too far about about half a mile down we're just going to see what we can catch from the beach this evening Make You Haul the cart wherever we go it's kind of become the new tradition like old young said this is the place I always forget he said that so what do you going to start off with I'm going to start with saiki had so much good fortune to that earlier I don't know whether I should use a top water or a p oh you want top water i' totally forgot about this you call top water y I call now you can use saiki if you want top water top water it is well if you're going to use top water you I might use pompo rig look at that gu his little heavy jig on there with the little fly I go slowly cuz I'm scared to death the sting rays and Lord knows there plenty of them out here pping no rig away guys while I was reing my dad hooked up on something looks like something good looks like something good what is it oh you got you got double oh triple triple oh that's what all three rigs nice too bad it's not triple pumping though but that's cool though yeah it looked like something giant I was I was I got excited for a second all right yeah see little Jacks there must have run into a school of them all right we're going to try triple release wow okay maybe make it out to the second Sand Bar wasn't a great idea Papa save yourself fish on my dad's got one I got to switch to a back to Seiki here I am fooling around with all this other stuff I just need to go with what's working nice the sun jamming up oh the sunset bite reel this thing in that's weird it got some water in it maybe some sand in the wrong spot might have to switch to the other Rod yeah uhoh we got subscribers up here you got for hey guys so it can't crank inuh it can't crank in oh that's so weird just oh you've got what do we got my dad The Reel is freezing up he can't reel in anymore it's a ladyfish hey we'll use her for bait or I don't know why I okay SC right on the beach look we got a big volleyball party going on up there it's a beautiful evening out here folks it's like 78° or something so it's not oppressively hot it's just right you're wet yeah especially when you're wet you go nice fish pops we'll use that for bait somehow guys if you're due to saltwater fishing lady fish are very bloody like really really bloody one of the best baits out there for um sharks or just any fish that likes bloody fish which is almost all of them all right my friends got a triple saiki on and let's see if I can get some wait there's a crab there's a white crab it's a white crab right here I'm going try to grab him there was no way I was catching that dude he was so quick uh-oh big wave big wave save yourself another big wave big set big scares me a little bit as far as like sharks go cuz I'm on the deeper side but I can't get plastered by a wave of the GoPro on my head got him got him got fish on guys fish on on this to be you know I don't know why I keep I kept switching around oh wait some something's chasing like like something big was chasing my whoa hopefully it's a dolphin and not a shark no my fish is gone something ate it off like there was a massive swirl right by my fish let's just hope that was a dolphin oops and not a shark got him got him oh good fish good fish W it's a big lady fish look at her jumping like a tarpon better get her in yeah the Dolphin's wo look at that yeah wanted the pink one the Lady fishing to prefer the pink yes that might be the biggest lady fish I've ever caught I can't get plastered by the waves got 16 in yeah that's a good nice nice [Music] nice uhoh save yourself fo save yourself I'm be down yeah me too and there the shark Factor the shark factor is always on my mind when it gets about this time too one more cast each sounds good all right my friends it was a grand little evening fishing session how however the shark and the wave Factor are a concern plus when it gets start dark you can't see like jellyfish approaching you or anything like that so we're going to get out for now it's been fun fishing but uh I think now it's time to cook up everything we've caught all right my friends all right guys let's clean some fish and [Music] shid it's a fun Catch of the Day yep pops for some reason my mind I thought we caught five is that it's a Spanish mackerel wow I did too I I honestly did somebody steal one out of our bucket I'll have to watch the footage back yeah there's a shark or a that's a shark oh I haven't even gotten started oh look somebody's hooked up over there on something something that's jumping guys there's a lot of action so a shark down there and this dude his fish just hit the surface let's walk down I was just about to start fing let's see what's what's cooking oh you got a small shark yeah that's cool it's my second one like 10 minutes oh really I have yet to catch a small shark off this here that is very cool edible one too have white spots yeah that's called an Atlantic sharp no you can actually eat those if you want really mhm they're tasty I'm actually over there filling my fish right now would you like uh would you like me to clean it for you and what I'll do is if you let me keep a small I'll keep a small uh steak of it and then give you the rest I have I'm literally on the cutting board right now cleaning all right perfect sweet there's a good trade guys the Atlantic sharpness knows they're actually a shark you can keep and eat here oh wow so they're they don't get very big they get maybe a foot longer than this and that's it in the State of Florida let's see a keep them no size limit so all right guys it's perfect yeah you want to keep these he said something about Cut Knife oh I can do that for you yeah you want a chunk I'll cut the tail off we'll throw that out there what size hook do you have depends on the size all right sweet that's a good size bigk coming up big shark where wow oh wow yeah that's something different that's not a Nerf shark or anything back down to the bottom yeah just jump in that's cool guys there's come out pure fishing guys if you're wanting something to do come peer fishing in Florida and there's so many fun things to do there you guys appreciate it you're welcome yeah there's a nice perfect chunk sizes those are actually great shark sizes to be honest hope you guys get one [Music] all right my friends we're just going to drop this over probably attract another shark and um bring the filets over this guy do you have a Ziploc bag I yeah you can put in that it's real tasty so yeah I just deep I just fry little breading or whatever and uh yeah or or you can pan fry it like butter and salt and pepper and your favorite seasoning thank you you're welcome and then we got a little shark filet there my friends that's so fun that was great that was really great throw the skin down all right let's get back to cleaning my mackerel I thre that shark carcass over I wonder if they're all looking at it got a he's got one attached to him yeah he does a Shar yeah see the stuff I'm throwing I'm throwing in all kinds of these bits and pieces folks and he's uh yeah he's probably down there eating a few I fact I threw the shark carcass right down there another big shark pops I'm going to clean your squid here nice I remember correctly you just cut it right there those are good pop the beak out have that part and then you pull the hat out pull the skin off then guys you pull squid of a long pin that's cool the color of it that's why we have those jerk baits guys that are that color that oh that is so cool I've never seen it so clearly that is very cool guys look we got two sharks swimming around now wonder why that is all right now little Bonita action there's a big bloodline in them that's for sure get this Herring going here cut the fins cut the head cut the oh these might be might be really bony unless that's just the rib cage there's the guts out take the water scale it super easy to scale cuz have big soft scales all right clean to scaled and a nice chunk and that's all she wrote folks yes all right my friends now I know of a perfect little spot to do a cook up because Unfortunately they won't let us cook on this pier it's against the rules all right my friends at this beautiful public park here on this stunning evening here in Florida just a tiny little beach in fact that's those are private docks right there those are private docks right there and just got this little swath right here and all my cooking stuff laid out I've got the big burners out but we're only going to use one side cuz I want to cook all of our creatures the same and boy do we got variety Spanish mackerel Bonita the squid the Herring and the little shark chunk and I'm going to cook them with some key lime fish fry and then when I was in the store just a bit ago I found these actual key limes in there I went there just to get a big old regular lime like you always see check out these mini lines that is cool they're a little under ripe this one's soft a lot of these are hard oh this one might be the one that one oh this one too all right this one feels a little soft probably use that one right there but a Florida seasoning fish fry key lime flavored seemed appropriate for being in Florida my first cast seasoning let's get cooking on the metal fish platter Let Me Tell You Folks I am hungry I'm to be honest I'm a little hangry right now just a little bit hopefully nothing bad happens in the next little bit and have an outburst of anger for no reason there we go I'm just add a bit of this just a bit okay maybe a lot so yes we got the regular little bottles and then we've got the industrial bottle I waited too late to eat folks we'll do the shark first I waited too late to eat though because it's like 6:15 right now and I usually eat at about five and I am uh I'm not feeling in the best of moods to be honest I say being angry is a big weakness of mine like the amount I eat can really affect how I feel well there's the first mistake I thought this was the shark chunk but look it just folded out this is not a shark chunk that is a Spanish Macer FL where is the D shark that's the shark chunk it doesn't look much different than Spanish mackerel that'll be an interesting taste test there the Bonita will be interesting too because everybody's like oh Bonita trash fish trash fish but then there are a few people out in the pure have been talking to they're like I E B all the time and I love them in fact I've heard like a dozen people say like oh they're only good for shark bait but we will see Jack Cal being the biggest example for us oh I'm excited about squid Jack Cal being the biggest example for us of being so tasty and people are people poo poo the old Jack Cal all the time time the squid head one of my favorite Parts is the best part actually of the squid we ready to go here oh yeah way ready way ready I'm going to put the shark in first oh if I got might well don't want to have don't want it to be too hot shark and Spanish mackerel and all the Bonita strips this is going to be a great taste test it's crazy how the shark filet shrunk like it's almost half size I got to keep everything separate here these will be easy to tell guys this is a subscriber Mike Mike do you want to if you want to cut one of these little uh let me find a good one here that's the one I was saying you want to cut open a lime and squeeze it over the fish yeah so um this morning we or no was yesterday we caught Spanish mackerel Bonita um squid my dad caught a squid from the pier uh yes from the pier so I don't know if you're a seafood fan or not a little bit a little bit right that's to squeeze a little bit of the officialy those are key lies officially on them little mini ones what do we have over there is that shark um those are Bonita strips that's the shark right there we also while I was out fing on the per the guy caught a shark a shark nose and so we feted that too I don't know if you've ever tried shark okay excellent oh you eat Bonita I do oh excellent okay that's so funny cuz like like um nine out of 10 people like oh it's just use just good for shark bait the trash it's a trash and then the other people are like oh it's it's good so go ahead yeah I was just going to say if you take care of the fish before you before you eat it if you know you're going to eat it and you're taking care of it properly it's going to it all kind of length of how you cook it uhhuh so yeah and when I was in When I Was Here 43 years ago I had a a buddy of mine and he was from Boston area and they would go out and get Bonita to eat so I mean it's kind of like tuna belly used to be only used for shark B yeah now it's like the most expensive cut who good you know that squid must add some some hidden water or something you yeah squid takes just just a second to cook it is not what the heck is going on got water must have a pockets of water stand back there squid fresh squid Cy all right we'll put these on and um give a taste test to this we have some tarter sauce here cuz my dad loves tart in fact if you want to take that in fact if you want to take this yeah let's go let's go stand over here my friends beautiful even a beautiful view of everything goodness all right I'll hold the fish by the tail so sounds good we always say a quick prayer before we before eat all right if you want to pray po sure thank you so much Lord God for this time together thank you know let's try Spanish mackerel first and then we'll we'll get to the unusual stuff here yeah go grab yeah just grab one jump in there it's very hot still it is hot you that bottom one might be a better one I'm going to try it without tartar sauce first Che G bit of lime on there I like the Citrus that's good I like I like the light breading so you can taste the fish can't go wrong with mackerel mhm W indeed now h on I ain't done yet you ain't done yet all right now we can go this let's compare to the shark there out there there's one interesting this is the shark what kind of shark was it again Atlantic sharp nose gentlemen I like that that's like isn't that good that's good that's a real firm flesh flavorful as can be guys don't pass up a shark I mean it's every bit as good as like Spanish mackel I think that's a perfect for fish sandwich cuz it's so um hearty it's meaty it's like a meaty shark typically is a lot denser and it has a bit of a pork Choy flavor to it there you go yeah exactly a pork choppy flavor perfect well said all right now let's compare it to the Bonita I've actually never eaten Bonita before yeah no I don't think I have maybe preout days but um Che Bonita dense meat as well I think it's better flavor than the shark actually I'm eating Bonita all day long man yeah I mean it's a lot of lot of small fish to catch and and or to clean but well that was a small one like cuz they get way bigger than that there's nothing wrong with Bonita guys I mean eat that all day absolutely throw Bonita back like that's crazy M that's a perfectly good fish now this is real interesting me because let's see if it's bony or not I like pickled hairing what did you say it will be bony it will be bony okay I was afraid of that I can just see them in there dang it yeah but you know what they're all fried up gentlemen grab you little we'll try at least one bite you want a little bite are you adventurous I'll be adventurous all right there we go grab you some there I'll grab this here oh yeah I can see the little Sparky things all over the place Cheers Cheers yeah the bones just my bones anyway they do very interesting they do melt away like you hardly feel the bones they did except for those right there um maybe you got the rib well yeah no I'm feeling some bones now the meat is melting away again that's good it is it is now I would say that pickled hering are better because they're they're they're pressure cooked I think they add the pickle to them so the bone there's no B I mean you don't think there are any bones in it because they're so pressure If I Could pressure cook these guys you could if you have some sort of pressure cooker or whatever at home like the bones do just melt away even though they're bony yeah probably good for you too and finally the squid now whoever gets the head you know pop since you caught it how about you get the head squid get the head there yeah there we go there's the other piece right there all right gentlemen all right Cheers Cheers fresh calamari you know I wish I'd have caught a dozen of these things that's one of my favorite things to eat M I love the texture the the thing about fresh calamari as opposed to when you get in the restaurant there's no rubbery it's just a good solid calamari but there's no rubber to it it's just a good chewy chewy oh it's good fire it is so good that is I mean if we could get on a school in fact we kept casting in there to try to get out more guys I think squid kind of wins the day and fresh calamari it is nothing like what you get in the
