Easy UNICORN cake tutorial | UNICORN cakes 🦄

Hey happy bees its Amanda unicorn cakes are so popular at the minute so i thought i would give you a quick and easy unicorn cake tutorial roll out some fondant 2-3mm thick and carve out the shape of a unicorn head if you arent too confident about carving out a unicorn head dont worry I have a template set that includes templates for everything you see on this cake ill put a link to it a the end of this video to make an ear for your unicorn roll out a piece of fondant into a teardrop shape use your fingers to create an indentation in the centre because the other ear will be in the background it can be flat to make a unicorn horn mould some fondant into a tear drop shape using a sausage piece of fondant pressing down on one side then use a knife to create some lines go in with some pink and gold edible dust now there are links in the description below for everything that i am using here for you use the gold dust on the unicorn horn use the pink dust on the inside of one of the ears create an upside down v shape on the bottom of the ear and press together both ends if you find the ear a little bulky you can trim some of that off make some eyelashes eyes for your unicorn by rolling out a black piece of fondant or modelling paste into a snake shape press down with your finger on the thicker side then go in with a knife and create some eyelashes at the end create some unicorn hair and i am using pastel colours but you can use these templates to create this unicorn in any colour create the front pieces of the unicorns hair first of all roll out some snake pieces of coloured fondant and layer those on top of eachother place the unicorn head on to the cake including your unicorn horn add the flat ear that you have already created and front hair pieces create and layer some longer pieces on top of the unicorns head and to create a ponytail you are going to layer some more strips of fondant together only this time you are going to curl up the bottom ends add on the other unicorn ear now and i like to add the facial features to the very end go in now and add eyelashes create a little smile and a nose for your unicorn click on that link above or in the description below if you want to get the unicorn template kit for this cake and if you love cake decorating make sure you subscribe to see lots more where this came from see you next wee bye guys!
