hello and welcome to the grassman show my name is your host the crab man in a previous episode I mentioned something about this Nestle gonna be dangerous Lola what's this we don't need that in this episode we fit in a meltdown some metal before we get into the video how about a word from my sponsor saw six of a minute education I guarantee that you can learn in a subject in one sixth of a minute this tape was self instruct in ten seconds some of the things that I'll be using up in this episode here mom a sister from smooth and the reason we're going with Mole Man City is because he is desire for high heat as you can see right here what's testing resistance up to five hundred sixty degrees Fahrenheit I got me a look hello ladies look at the mama thing let's see what temperature are all great doctor he'd best used to fall degrees also got us a little scale hey and I also get me just right here just a hot pot right here I got this one cause I like the convenience of it but you can use a spoon and a torch whatever that you might have access to to melt down your metal we gonna need some metal this right here's some pewter this ain't got no lay it and it is layer free you also gonna need something to make a mold and for ten we got the song master y'all know Captain Crunch but did you know he has Arsena my sister saw master what I like about it is all these little details and things like this and in addition you'll see that rivers it's gonna be fine and for today I'm gonna you miss some boxes but you can use Legos you can use pieces of wood plastic whatever that you might have what we gonna do is a two-part mold so we got two sides to this one side and yet another side first step is to make one started to do this I'm using some super sculpey and I know I can hear stereo y'all right now saying where I craft man why in the world first only clay that I have on hand that I know does not have sulfur in it and whenever you mess it was still a car you don't want to have sulfur in your in your clay all right so I will see here and get this out knead it up good look it just crumbling everywhere probably all day doing this see roughly how much we can handle this like that's gonna be enough so now I'm gonna start the process again just push down into place and I gotta make sure I'm gonna give me some tools and things and make sure we get this tucked into our little corners get our even down looking good all right that's pretty close so we got mr. solid master right here yes already an assistant seam line going around okay now this was injection mode before they put this in a cereal box what I would do is I would try to make this seam line the same for this alright because that way you don't want two different seen lines going going through which you know I'm saying so we gonna pour of sat down like this so I'm gonna come up away from the bottom a little bit we want us a little space all the way around the sides including the head like that I'm gonna go ahead and just start pushing them down up in here and this bar here can be kind of tough alright but you just keep all keep all working with it's gonna happen alright there's a gap right in there we got to take something extra little clay get that down into place and then it's just a process of going around making sure that everything lines up if you see any places where it looks like you need a little bit more clay go ahead and had it just drop you a little bit it's very important to get this right to get it as a clean of a seam line as you possibly can this is the most time consuming step probably right here is getting this done but the good news is you take your time and do this right then the second half is easy easy there's like we got a pretty clean line going around an object and next is kind of a fun part I want to show you because what we bout to do now is we bout to find some little objects and things that we can put around to my little registration keys and things alright I got some the objects right here now some people use a corn nuts then different things I'll kind of do a different thing you can also come in like this and create a negative space the silicon will feel that and subsequently result in you know a positive how old of Chris man you ain't got a little spout cut one thing I like to do and everybody got their own little preference in mythology methodology scuse me I don't like to do that after I got both half the hairs on my mole may he didn't it I cut them I cut that out all right my I'm blowing material for a world of applications all right mix ratio 108 to 3 B by weight smooth don't gonna make it hard on us today that's all right move it on y'all still good I like you I'm not very scientific what I do is I look at this I say how much I need to feel it so I'm gonna figure my mold my silicone way Indian base on there I'm gonna do some cross multiplication us to do you see how much add a dime I need right there it's gone before I'm used to the greens and the blues and all this stuff you bet scrape that off don't be throwing out away grass man why you wear gloves all the time I'm going just kind of mix up this silicon like that that's the recommendations I'm trying to scale alone there we go and yeah I'm gonna put me a Nuke scuff up on there like that tear it I won't dummy somebody's up in it probably should be good enough for death all right did I must switch over to units right here all right 216 grams so mo max 60 years of 100 Hey for 3b oh right we got 200 16 grams to figure out how much the disk we need we can do cross multiplication y'all murder from our school you times just together three times 216 is a 648 all right and then divide it by 100 cease for 8 so that's how much or the Part B tour we need to measure how look at that to get this a blue color right here smooth on they do some crazy things with these colors all right all right that's just telling me six right there what can happen is if you use too much of this it's just gonna cure a lot faster if you don't use enough it'll cure slower but uh anyway let's see what happens anytime you mix us silicon like this you want to scrape to here just kind of rotate it around like death you don't want to crank it too much and get a lot bubbles like dying like daddy want to make sure you can sister slow the smoothness move I think we might be just about there oh I just broke the stick that's how you know you're starting it when you break that stick look at that you don't want to pull right over your model all right you might trap some air or something up in necessarily death aim it where it needs to be and kind of come up with it in here kind of started it an empty space negative space up in the mall any and just let it kind of run around this is he this time back over here I think that's about good right there so now we're just going to test it Oh night time I check on it tomorrow and then we'll work on part two second part of the mold oh right good morning that's always a good feeling right there that means you missed it up right so now what we're gonna do is see can we prise it apart now see one thing the reason why this is coming off so easy see - shiny shine right there I sprayed out with some clear kritis Souter that's what I'm talkin bout right time now looks like we can probably use this again whenever possible you want to keep your object steel in the other half but that's alright we're gonna take it out like this yeah and you did a little piece of like this just kind of get that out of there now if you want to you can go in cut around on this so what we finna do is a seated we can get this back into the box and what I like to do to do that yes I always take see those little edges right here it kind of formed the edge all the way around so I'm gonna take me a real sharp blade like this Indian just uh I guess I might as well go ahead and do it instead of just talking about it look I joined this up real good and snug and try to eliminate as much as the little cracks and things that we can around edges we just gonna get us a little bit on there like that start going around like this right here we don't need to put in a petroleum jelly up on the fig all right we just gonna get it all around on the silicone all right that's the key get a good film all around check out that backpack all song master I'm really excited about this y'all I don't know if y'all can tell yeah but get ready to see the Staind cast of metal seemed too good to be true hope everything is going good at y'all workplace that's a home place ever place where you interact with people well we all got bigger purposes than we might realize but uh it's all about be different relationships excuse me captain crush I'm at the back this thing oh no sorry captain my desk is not 100% level so one thing about liquid you didn't gonna lie about what level it's gonna tell you take your time I'm making these moles because they can last you a long time and they hold up to the heat it's worth taking your time to get this mold the way you wanna all right i'ma holla at y'all later and again a co-ed aside a slick top-seeded there we go see so what can happen when you're doing something like this here you pour the metal down into here it's gonna come down and then feel up alright and you little places like that it might not it might be air bubble or something trapped up in there up in there and so what you can do is cuddle the relief a little event what we bet to do is better a some baby powder to this alright and you can use a lot of different things I have used ever root powder y'all know about that when we did the free-range chicken we we used arrowroot powder for all of our plastic cast we're gonna cook the whole mold with baby powder now when we get ready to pour this we're gonna need a way to hold this together but you don't want to squeeze it too much and just start the mole no I don't know what you think about Derrick there I did a lot of reviewing on these things and this is the one I ended up liking the negatives a lot of people have a complaint about it's just right here it is too easy to uh for Justin to you know I can see what maybe it would be good as some colored things come up like that like that to kind of grab holes so is this is fixed that's got some little grab a grab and it's gonna stay there you know locked up place but anyway this is my our pewter right here and there's different kind of variations that you can get on this as far as you know what they got in them but this is lead-free that's the main thing you want to look out really I was suggest watching out if you buy auntie's pewter antiques real cheap and then you melt them down that's where you might run into some lead you know and things like that but I have a link in the description where I got this we go ahead and plug in the hot pot and look at this Haney and get the right kind of gloves on so how are you ready so the hot pots got a little smoke coming off of it and that could be different things you know that could be a little bit of all it might be on it from the factory stuff like that there's not very first time to ever plug it in so damn we'll go ahead and just lay it like this actually I'm a lately I don't know what can we are we up over 500 degrees right now so yeah just a little bit adjust to happen I just came off some of the dross off the top of it that's basically the little impurities and things like that when you melt it it rises up like that I do expect the metal to go to runoff on to my workbench that's why I'm over here instead of a by my little cut in that area I don't want that stuff to get met there were you just gonna try to do a little par and see what it'll do so we won't let that sit for about a good 10 15 minutes I'm gonna go sleep on some coffee then we come check back in a little bit all right so let's see let's see we get the camera zoom me oh come on find it to be honest with you I thought it was gonna be all flash all up around in here and it ain't let's see oh look at this now look at this right here snap and never go to us like a little before-and-after plastic to metal Oh crab man ice-t what you trying to pull it on me don't think I can't tell the difference between Delta I just knew it all right well y'all may thank complicated on me but let's go ahead and see if we can do this so I went on the computer gave me a digital higher rare of the look color details I'm gonna put that on some label release paper probably one thing that you could do is you could just heat this up right here put this right here on top of it and wish I hold it down and the toner particle would probably melt onto this and then you could peel the paper off of it but today just for simplicity I'm gonna use the liquid Tex now one thing some neat little rivets might push to push up on this but anyway we're gonna we're gonna see we can do I think I'd almost honest about much as I can yeah we're gonna let this dry and you see if we can peel it off oh now what I'm doing is I'm peeling slow I'm careful because I'm real excited right now let me just stop and say I'm very excited that this is actually don't work but had I been pulling this up and it's still some left on the paper I wouldn't want to take it all the way up I would just put me some more transfer medium and slap that thing back down and maybe hit it with the he go something like that but look at this this might be fitting the work to I don't know oh snap a mile yes indeed look at that me to be honest with ya well anyway that's crazy hey I like that thank you all so much for white in my video I appreciate the support so much and if we keep going then maybe one day I'd be able to do YouTube videos and things full-time but hey either way I'm thankful I'm grateful I just can't believe that I get to do this thank y'all so much I love y'all keep stead of crafting you know how it is when you start being your army you got to keep on going
