hey I'm Jessica from prop money calm in this video we are going to look at the easiest approval credit cards I'm gonna do a little countdown of those cards but before I do I'm gonna ask you to please subscribe to this YouTube channel if you have not already and if you have already I thank you for doing so so we are going to make a list of the I always want to say top 10 but I couldn't make it top 10 I don't even know how many there are but I'm gonna kind of count them down in a couple places I'm gonna lump some cards together that I think are sort of in the same category from certain issuers but anyway we are going to look at the cards that I think have the easiest to prove I'm going to count them down sort of from ones that are somewhat easy but maybe a little harder all the way down to the ones that are the very easiest to get ahold of now I'm mostly going to concentrate on sort of major credit card issuers that have rewards cards could go a little deeper and find the easiest cards that you know nobody actually wants and so that's not a whole lot of fun so the video will be much more interesting in the way that I'm gonna do it we're gonna look at no annual fee cards only the first cards I'll talk about you probably are going to have to be in terms of credit score closer to 700 to be approved the cards further down the list obviously the credit scores would probably go down as well now this is definitely not an exact science I'm going to go based on sort of my own knowledge of what I have seen in the market in terms of where people are getting approved but there's no way to say this credit score is going to get you this card everybody's situation is going to be a little different so I would love to hear your comments in the comment section below based on you know which cards you think we're easier or harder what your credit score was when you got a certain card any of that kind of stuff everyone loves to hear those data points and see how other people's experience matches up to theirs let's do it an eleventh place because that's just kind of how the numbers worked out I would have put together two of the Bank of America credit cards the no annual fee Bank of America cash rewards card or at the Bank of America travel rewards card I think both of these cards are ones that are probably the easiest Bank of America cards to get but they aren't necessary super easy cards to get overall like I said both no annual fee the cash rewards card has a three to one cash back formula you can choose your 3% category to get 3% cash back in you get 2% at grocery stores and wholesale clubs 1% back everywhere out everywhere else the Bank of America travel rewards cart is a card that gives you 1.5 miles or points per dollar and you can use those points against travel purchases that you make with the card number 10 I'm going to lump three American Express cards three no annual fee cards that you may be familiar with the Amex everyday card the blue cash everyday card or the American Express cash magnet card each of them a little bit different the Amex everyday is a card that gives you American Express Membership Rewards points I don't think it's an overly generous card but it is probably an easier card to get approved for the blue cash everyday card is a card I like a little bit better this is a cashback only card so if you prefer American Express Membership Rewards points you would actually like the other card better but that one's going to give you 3% back at grocery stores 2% back on gas and 1% back and everything else and then you also have the American Express cash magnet 1.5% cash back on everything I think they're all probably in the same ballpark in terms of your likeliness to be approved number nine I'm going with the city rewards plus card the newest card from Citi although it's not really all that new anymore this is a card that is sort of targeted a younger audience and targeted people that use their credit cards for smaller purchases it's an okay rewards card overall I'm not going to go into all the features because it's sort of a complicated card in a way but you can check that out further I think it's probably the easiest of the Citibank cards to get your hands on number eight are the two Chase Freedom cards the original Chase Freedom Card and the chase freedom unlimited I don't know if one of these is easier than the other maybe the original Chase Freedom Card is easier than the freedom unlimited but they're probably in the same ballpark now it's super easy but the easiest chase cards to get and the sort of entry point for a lot of people if they deal with Chase chase I'm card five percent cash back in certain rotating categories they change every calendar quarter whatever Chase says you can get five percent back on you can get five percent back on and anything else that you purchase with the card you're only going to get one percent back on the chase freedom unlimited on the other hand is a 1.5 percent cash back card flat on everything you will get that 1.5 percent number seven I'm going with the PayPal cash back MasterCard no it's actually a pretty strong card you get two percent cash back on everything that you buy with the card it has no foreign transaction fees now the earnings that you get do go into your PayPal account versus straight into your hands but those are easy enough to either use via PayPal or get into your bank account so this is a pretty good card and it is issued by synchrony Bank a bank that is known to have a little looser lending standards compared to some of the other banks so a very good card but because it is issued by synchrony I think it's a little easier to get then that if this same card was being issued by Chase or American Express or Bank of America so this is a car that I would kind of put right in the middle here number six the Capital One Quicksilver rewards card 1.5% cash back on everything that you purchase I'm talking about the no annual fee version of this card there is a card for people whose credit maybe is not as good that has a thirty nine dollar annual fee even though it has the same 1.5% cash back formula so as far as I'm concerned I'm talking about the no annual fee card here when I am listing it among these other cards Capital One is known to be one of the issuers that is more accepting of people whose credit scores are lower this is probably one of their I wouldn't say it's one of their harder cards to get but maybe compared to some of the other cards that Capital One issues this one's a little bit more difficult number five is the peddle credit card now peddle is a fairly new credit card out on the market this one's kind of hard to place within this list because of the fact that peddle is very open to new card holders people without a credit history versus people that maybe have had credit in the past and you know maybe had some credit problems so if you are a newbie this is a pretty decent card it's only gonna start you with one percent cashback but if you make all your payments on time in the first year it will go up to 1.5% cash back on everything so if you are new to credit it is a good place to start I think and overall I think the reviews have been pretty decent on this card for a new card that's not issued by any of the major banks if you have some credit problems peddle is probably not going to be the place to go because really they are targeting those newbies number forming a lump together pretty much any of the Discover card so they discover it cashback they discover it Chrome gas and restaurant cards they discover it miles card I think are probably all in the same ballpark Discover is a credit card bank or brand that many people use when they are first getting started because of the fact that Discover is very friendly or mostly friendly to people that don't have as much of a credit history so they're definitely placed where a lot of people get started they don't necessarily get huge credit lines to get started but they are often going to be approved from discover they discover it is another 5% rotating categories card each calendar quarter you've got certain categories or you can get five percent cashback 1% everywhere else the discovered Chrome gas and restaurant is 2% knows gas and restaurant categories 1% everywhere else other the discover it miles card is a card that gives you 1 point 5 miles per dollar on every purchase that you make those miles can be turned in as cashback so you really could think of this as a 1.5% cash back card as well as using those miles toward travel purchases number 3 the Walmart mastercard another card issued by Capital One who tends to be friendlier to people whose credit histories are not as long or maybe have a blemish here or there Walmart even though everyone kind of shops at Walmart they do tend to target people whose incomes are maybe a little bit lower which means it seems a little more likely that they would approve people even who have of incomes that aren't quite as high compared to some of the other credit card issuers and then of course Walmart also is really in heated competition with Amazon so they want to get people into this card that gives 5% back at Walmart comm gives you 2% back in Walmart stores and then 2% back in some other categories as well so this is a decent credit card if you're a Walmart shopper in particular I'm always a little annoyed that they give more back at walmart.com than in the Walmart stores but in terms of easy approval I think this one is right up there counting down to number two is the capital one venture one card maybe you're starting to see a pattern here this is Capital One's no annual fee travel card that gives you 1 point to 5 miles per dollar on every purchase that you make now you can use these miles with some Airlines you do have some ability to transfer your points but overall I tend to think of that 1.25 miles as being essentially the same as a one point two five percent cash back credit card in terms of how much of value you are going to get with that and that is not really all that great of a reward rate so between the fact that it's not a great reward and it's Capital One who tends to be a little easier on the approvals that's why this card is so high and that finally the easiest approval credit card on the market in the unsecured category as far as I'm concerned is the Capital One platinum mastercard now it's a little unfair in a way to put this against the other cards that i have just talked about because of the fact that it has no rewards it has a high interest rate there's not anything particularly great about this card except for the fact that many people find that it is the card that they can get approved for if they have had some past credit problems or if they are new to credit and can't get approved anywhere else this is the card that is often going to be the friendliest to them so like I said not a whole lot going on here with this card but there are many people out there that will say yes this is the card that let me get back into unsecured cards or gave me my first chance with an unsecured card when I didn't have any credit history or maybe I was new to the country whatever the case maybe Capital One sort of has this card here is one that's going to be a little friendlier to people that have had some sort of issue in the past or can't get credit for one reason or another so that is why it makes the number one spot on this list so what do you think how did I do does your experience match up to the list that I just made or did you see something very different did you get very easily approved for out a no Bank of America versus the chase freedom or whatever the case may be I would love to hear your experience your opinions everything about you really in the comment section below otherwise I thank you for watching and as always please go to proud money.com where we do credit card reviews we talk personal finance we talk deals and all sorts of other fun stuff too thanks for watching bang
