EarthRoamer LTi Exterior Walkthrough

[Music] hi I'm bill swales founder and CEO of our tonic I'm very pleased to present the most advanced expedition vehicle ever made the earth armor LTI [Applause] [Music] oti is the first expedition vehicle Eli's a one-piece vacuum infused carbon fiber body in addition to its new carbon fiber body the earth former LTI also features many new innovations like a massive lithium ion battery bank all digital electronic control systems and frameless flush mounted glass windows the LTI is the result of continuously improving our designs for over 20 years and more than 250 handcrafted expedition vehicles let us show you all that our former LTI has to offer hi I'm Zack Rainier and I'd like to introduce you to the Earth Romer LTI this is the latest and greatest from Earth Romer and we're very excited about the technologies that we've introduced in it such as carbon fiber one-piece composite shell and lithium ion battery pack as well as digital control of the entire truck we have a lot of exciting features to talk about today so let's jump right into it so starting up front here we have an awesome bumper designed in-house by Earthrealm our employees and fabbed in-house and locally as well starting with the light bar inside this bull bar here this comes to us from Baja designs as top of the line puts out a lot of light also from Baja designs we have our off-road lights down here as well as the amber fogs next to it in the center here we have the Warn winch that's the sixteen thousand five hundred pound winch with a synthetic line attached to the factor fifty five flat link great for closed-loop winching which is a very safe way to do it all of that is run by a wireless remote that is all rated for full vehicle recovery so one of the most important things about an earth rumor is its ability to go anywhere and everywhere including places that other vehicles of this type cannot go one of the things that makes that possible is a very aggressive wheel and tire package that we have here so what we have is a Hutchinson double bead lock wheel that is DOD approved wrapped in a 41 inch continental MPT now what a lot of people ask is why so many bolts is that just for looks no there's a lot of functionality to it on the inner layer here we have what is gonna make an adapter plate on the second row here that's actually gonna be how we take the wheels off of the vehicle and this third outer row is actually how you split the rim and what that allows you to do is take apart the bead lock in case you need to do some sort of field repair or something like that or put it back on the bead on the suspension end of things what we did was we took an F 550 and we stripped everything off of it to start fresh so what we have is we have a full four corner independent air suspension system holding the entire truck up as well as custom valve shocks from King that are set up exactly how we like our earth roamers riding the four corner independent air suspension allows us to do a lot of things we can raise the truck if we're going through a deep stream crossing as well as lower the truck if we have to get under low-hanging branches we can also use the four corner independent suspension to be able to level the truck when we get to camp using all four of the bags independently and that gives us the ability to cook and sleep on level surfaces in terms of safety and security one of the things that we have here is we have the exterior billet door locks custom-designed for our earth roamers and what these allow you to do is they allow you to put a case hardened bolt all the way through and lock down your truck from the exterior in case you're ever gonna put it in storage or a long-term transport or anything like that it's on all four of the cab doors as well as the entry door to completely lockout access from the outside well we also have on the cab is underneath we have power boards that come out with the front and rear doors and that just makes it a little bit easier to get into this truck now that it's taller we have our X card material on all of the rockers as well as carrying all the way through on the fairings and that's gonna help protect from rock chips and any other damage that might be coming up from a pretty rough trail we also offer the ability to ex guard the entire truck which is gonna really really help with things like tree striping and any other types of scratches that you can get on your truck and it gives a unique look that we have found we really like on the earth roamers one of the most exciting parts of the earth firmer LTI is this beautiful shell this is a one-piece carbon fiber shell which is revolutionary for the expedition vehicle market and what it allows us to do is have a much lighter weight thinner with better insulation value shell that is all structural in its core it is three layers and those three layers are carbon fiber a structural foam core and then another layer of carbon fiber with frameless glass windows inset into the shell itself that gives us a really great insulation and a really clean flush mount look down the passenger side of the truck you can see we have our water fill here this is gonna carry a hundred gallons of fresh water anywhere you need to go we have exterior power allows you to run an extension cord or anything else you need for camp we have our exterior lights on three of the sides of the vehicle which are really great and all of those are dimmable up top we have the awning which is now recessed into the body it really helps keep all the tree branches and everything from catching it and it just really has a clean look and here we have our entry door now this is gonna be the main entry into the camper portion of the truck what we have that we have done that it's very exciting is when you open it up we have our steps come out and these are very low very easy to access for anybody especially if they have a little bit of trouble reaching a high step which is all made possible by our now lower step inside the entry door on this side we have our exterior shower this is going to run hot and cold water to a faucet outside of the truck really great for washing off your feet or your dog or anything else before you get in your truck and it is separately winter izybelle from the rest of the system in case you want to use the truck in heavy winter up top we have our optional ghost security system now that's gonna be four cameras on each side of the truck that are all continuously recording have a vent recording and can be recalled from anywhere in the world via the ghost app what that allows you to do is check out the status your truck you have recordings of anybody around your truck whether it be wildlife or other people and all of those cameras also have infrared capabilities so that you can see even in the middle of the forest on the upper corner of the truck you can see that we have our satellite dome and what that satellite dome is is it gives you access to either Direct TV or Dish Network it's integrated into the show which keeps it a lot lower but it's pneumatically actuated so it can actually go up and down to get you better service all right so let's talk about the back of the truck so we have the upper Locker this is gonna have shelving in it as well as an ax mounted in there and all the remotes for the winches and the lower Locker we have a tool bag a few spare parts and really great space for longer items of storage like camp chairs or skis or anything like that you open up the upper Locker door you're gonna have steps drop from underneath the bumper that allow you to access the locker a little bit easier as well as access the spare tire speaking of the spare tire the spare tire is a full-size spare it fits on all four sides of the vehicle and is able to be lowered down with all the weight on a winch so that a person doesn't have to carry that weight especially if they're on the side of the road or trail down in the bumper we have another winch it's another worn 16,000 500 pound winch with a synthetic line that is rated for vehicle recovery on top of the bumper we can also mount optional storage boxes and these storage boxes are used for either just large item storage firewood things like that or week also option an exterior kitchen with a grill and different cooking options in case you want to be outside on top of the storage boxes we have options for things like bike racks or other types of racks for storing your accessories here we have access to our cassette system now what a cassette is is it's a replacement for a black water tank that is really convenient because it allows you to dump the tank when it gets full in public restrooms or pit toilets or anything like that and that eliminates the need to be reliant on dump stations which a lot of the time aren't open in the winter and they're not available in some countries so we really like the cassette system and we really know our customers have really enjoyed using in terms of fuel the LTI carries the original 40 gallons from Ford as well as an additional 55 gallons that transfers into the original tank all of that is happening seamlessly so that you don't need to do anything with it but what that 95 gallon does is it allows you to have about a thousand miles range which is really great especially when you're going off the grid or into the backcountry now one of the most important things about an earth tremor is that we're running full battery power and not running a generator of any kind now to get enough electricity to charge those batteries we have several different sources one of the easiest sources that we get our power from is the alternators in the truck so when you're driving the truck you're actually charging the batteries and everything else in the truck we also have 1320 watts of solar on the roof which is really great for recharging the truck even on a cloudy day in terms of plugging in at a campsite or in a garage we have Shore power available up to 30 amps to be able to charge the truck very quickly now our batteries are very special in the LTI we're using lithium-ion batteries that have about 11,000 watt hours of capacity and that is excellent for going off the grid for even several days or weeks in a row those batteries are going to be charging and running a 5,000 watt inverter and that inverter is good to run all of the appliances just as you would at home so what we can see down here is we have access to our onboard air system our onboard air system is the system that is controlling all four corners of the air suspension but what we also have is we have air Chuck's with quick disconnects accessible under both sides of the cab as well as one under the rear bumper and one under the front bumper those are going to be great for if you need to fill any other kind of tires you can fill the truck tires or accessories like a kayak or anything else like that it's a very powerful system now let's go check out the cab so what we have here in the LTI is a Ford f-550 lariat as the base vehicle now one of the first things we do to this is we lower the center console to make it easier to get over from the front seats into the back and even through the pass through into the camper one of the things that the f-550 lariat offers is heated and cooled front seats as well as heated rear seats one option that we offer as earth Roemer is replacing the rear seats with storage platforms dog platforms things like that in case you only ever need the two seats and would like a little bit more space for your furry friend or for storage camera gear things like that the Lariat package also offers this great screen which controls a lot in the truck this is the Ford Sync system now what Ford Sync offers is it offers you the ability to control the entertainment the climate control your navigation and we can tap into that system and add several cameras some examples of the cameras we add or we have a pack a backup camera that we can tap into and switch on permanently so you can use it as a rearview mirror we also have the ability to add a forward-looking infrared camera which is really awesome when you're on a trail in the backcountry and you can see heat signatures on the trail in front of you we also have a chassis cam that we can mount underneath the truck and it's really great in case you're going to be wheeling over terrain and you want to see if your gonna clear that rock or that stump so we can put all of that on the screen as driving aids to aid with your Earthrealm or trail experience now down here we have all of the controllers that we add for our earth Roemer editions so we have our air lift controller that controls all four corners of the independent air suspension and it can ride on preset ride Heights or completely evacuate the bags one of the nice things about running this air lift system is that we can also see the independent pressures in each of the bags below the air ride we have our screen that shows us fuel levels in both of our tanks and we can see independent levels in the Ford factory tank as well as the auxilary tank that's also the module that controls the transfer between them over here on the right we have our TPMS module from continental and what that does is that will monitor pressure as well as temperature of the tires and that's really important when we're gonna be running these trucks in the desert we want to make sure our tires aren't getting too hot on the highway that TPMS is also very nice because we can preset alarms in case you're not paying attention it will let you know when your tires are getting either too hot or low pressure or anything like that also an option on the LTI is we include a pre-wired ham radio if that's something that you're interested in for communicating with your friends or other people on the trail it can also be used as an emergency communication device now up here we have six up fitter switches these six switches are able to control things such as those cameras I was talking about the backup camera the FLIR camera the chassis camera it also is our control for our off-road lights and our front bumper as well as our light bar now we also have a switch up here that is very convenient to use on tight trails it's our two wheel drive low switch now if you're wheeling and you're in four wheeled low it's really great because you have that torque you have that speed control but you also lose a little bit of that steering functionality because you can't go full lock to lock so what the two wheel drive low switch does is it allows you to disengage the front axle so that you have that full steering capability on the trail without losing that low gear range it's also really nice if you're ever on something like a boat ramp or just a really steep driveway and you want to do really slow maneuvering now you can't
