"Early Season Blues " early season bluefin tuna out of San Diego on the old glory 1.5 day

okay [Music] you wanna hear this good evening everyone welcome aboard the old glory if you know someone that should be on the boat that stepped off please speak up for we're about to depart hoping to go kill some fish first goal a day and a half trip overnight day and a half uh offshore and search for that bluefin a little bit of yellowtail hopefully you know whatever else gets in the way we're gonna try to kill it far as the fishing goes we're to go down here and we're going to be looking for that bluefin tuna we're going to spend 100 of the day looking for this fish um hopefully we'll find it from the looks of it it looks like some guys got down there and found some smaller grade fish and the stuff we've been seeing and been hooking have been 150 100 100 pound fish looks like they got some 50s or something like that is when i saw some pictures of some fish that were very catchable think the hot ticket i won't say fly line bait won't work tomorrow but the hot ticket has been the jigs and the weighted baits if you have a question about what i'm talking about how to rig them up all this stuff talk to one of my crew members they're here for you and they'll get you going in the right direction and kind of help you out give you helpful tips of what's going on here for the bluefin i'd be using 40 on up if we're getting some small fish that are fly line fish you might want to fish 40. if you're fishing a jig or a weighted bait i'd be using 60 or 80. in fact my jig is on 130 pound i don't think it's so much the line class as getting in front of the right fish guys it's all about teamwork when the boat catches a bunch of fish it's not because it has the best fish catchers it has the best team on it tomorrow guys let's work together go out have a good time whatever happens we don't catch a fish or we catch limits you guys enjoy yourselves have a good time work together let's go out and have catch some fish here but um guys have any questions talk to my crew more
