hello everyone and welcome to this eagle 3d streaming demonstration on how to set a config file so first question what is a config file a config file is what you use to drive the experience of your unreal application over the internet using the eagle platform so you are able to customize your streaming experience in a variety of ways and all of that is done through a config file so a config file holds and stores different streaming options that can be used across a variety of apps so i'll just create a new config file then this is the first step you'll want to do my new config and i will add that config once it's added then i can go into the customization so i can select a video for example if i want a video to play i can customize my eagle loading screen if i would like to have different icons assigned to different aspects of the loading sequence i can also go to the apps and i can pass command line parameters by per config file i can set the expiration time i can add a ps debugging i'm able to select audio or stereo quality i can select whether or not the eagle engine is used and i can also determine the app how i would like my mouse to behave so if we think about the config file it is everything related to your streaming experience all in one area nice and easy to use once you're happy with your config file simply click save and once that's finished then all you need to do is select that config file and select that app and when you click play app the app will be played based on your config file now you can also select a different app and use the same config file across multiple apps so this gives you the ability to get happy with a certain set of parameters and then use that for multiple applications thank you very much for watching this video please email business eagle3dstreaming.com for any questions thank you
